good teacher and easy to understand, its funny to watch every guy in the class pretend that they're not checking her out lol. GOOD TEACHER!

She is great. I love her class it's alot of fun. All you have to do in her class is read the storys, write your responce papers and speak up and you will get an A in this class. Plus Angelique is nice helpful and she will tell you everything you need to know if she didn't, which is unlikely, then just ask.

Wonderful teacher. Just read the stories and write 1 page summaries when responses are due. She won't care about the grammar on response papers. She does care when essay's no longer than 3 pages are due. But you have time to write them. Good teacher and understanding. Take her class!!!

She's awesome! If you don't take this class you are missing out! It's not hard at all, just attend class and you'll know what's going on. Loves having class dicussions and Riverside Reader and you also write ONE page on each story. Essays not too many, probably about 4? Mid Term and Final are both essays about 2 stories you read in RR. VERY EASY!

The class was easy as long as you show up. Not very much work and class usually got out early. She is probably the youngest enlish professor at MCC. There is no reason why anyone should not get an A unless they are not ready to take 1101. You even have 1 week to regrade a paper. It doesnt get much better than this, plus as a bonus she is hot!

Profesor made the class fun by telling us stories. She makes you write alot but will help you rewrite the papers. you can tell that she cares about what she is doing.

Medvesky is a good teacher, however, if you take her first class, go ahead and take her 2nd because she does not prepare you for the 2nd written com under anybody else. Did not have enough exp. with MLA's or card reports or explications.

This is my 2nd class with Angelique and I love her! She brings the stories into modern times which makes them easier to understand. I always have agood time in her class. As long as you come to class and do the assignments you can get an A. Her quizzes can be harder than her tests so make sure you study!

I had a lot of fun in this class. You'll have a few quizzes and do a lot of short writings and a final paper but it's not too bad. Professor Medveksy likes to mix up old stories with TV shows and have you write about them. She's not like other ordinary english teachers.

Cool teacher. Laid back (but don't be a wise guy cuz you will sleep with the fishes!) She was helpful and had a young approach to teaching. I liked her a lot. She comes off as ****y, but she's like the wife from 'King of Queens'. Easy Class!

Professor Medvesky is a literary breath of fresh air. She takes obdurate literature and makes it not only palatable, but fun. She is able to stultify the depressant nature of literary stories and make coming to class a blast.

Great professor, let's you know exactly what you need to do for the whole semester and follows the syllabus perfectly. She does show quite a few movies in class. Best advice:speak up in class and answer her questions,start a discussion and you'll get out early..plus it's a part of your grade to participate. She aslo allows you to re-write papers

Medvesky was an awesome teacher. She was very precise on what she wanted. She has a strange personality but it attracted most people. She is not afraid to speak her mind expecially in front of the whole class, so beware. Overall, she has been the nicest and easiest teacher i have taken so far.

Easy A but makes you read very strange stories. I took a once a week class and basically all we did was take a quiz on the short story we read, talk about the same short story for about an hour and a half, and watch a movie on that story. A little monotonous. Very clear on what she wants, however.

There is not enough room in this box to write all the good things about Dr. Medvesky. She is an awesome person and a wonderful teacher. She insists that you utilize her office hrs if you are struggling at ALL. Expectations and a full dated syllabus are clearly defined 1st day of class. I took her for ENC1101 as well. You WILL NOT regret taking her.

One of my favorite teachers. She really cares that her students understand and learn and doesn't try to trick you on tests and quizzes. She's VERY fair and wants students to do well. The Syllabus is detailed and she follows it to the letter - no surprises! I would DEFINITELY recommend her.

I would definitely recommend taking ENC1101 with this professor. She is willing to help and grades fairly, also challenges the students. This class is not for someone looking for an easy A, but definitely take her class if you want to learn something.

I took this class online with Medvesky. She is very clear about what is expected grades fairly. She was even willing to extended deadlines because my 3 month old son was sick. She understands that some people don't like writing or just aren't good at it. I would definitely recommend professor Medvesky and plan on taking 1102 with her myself.

I have just completed her summer online course. I found the class to be ridiculously easy; however, I am a pretty strong writer. I was very disappointed that she did not give me any feedback on any of my papers, even after I emailed her a request to do so. I was handed back high grades, but no suggestions or comments as to how I might improve. =(

Took this class online in summer and was pleased that Medvesky realizes you can only do so much during a summer semester, unlike other teachers. But was very disappointed that she took forever to grade the papers I wrote and would not give feedback on them so I could improve my writing. Not very responsive to emails either.

Professor Medvesky is a great teacher! She comes off as a bit tough, but really isn't at all. We read stories and then have a 5 question quiz. Class discussions are clear and helpful and reviews for tests are exact. She likes to put videos to the stories we read to try and better understand them. Definitely recomended!

I am taking a Short Sotry class with Dr. M this semester. She likes to use tv shows and video clips to help us understand the stories. You can get on her good side by telling your own stories at the beginning of class. Don't forget a works cited page, she will take off points immediately if you forget!

Great class! Great Professor!

So fun! We read Salinger and Stephen King. Prof M likes to show you how stories are put into modern times like tv and movies. There are a lot of papers but you can tell she likes being there with us.

At first I thought that this class was going to be boring. Today proved me wrong. We talked about our readings and watched a tv show that showed us how the past and present relate. She is also funny and tells us stories.

She can be a bit rough and she does not take crap from anyone and really does not want to hear any excuses. Her sylabus is detailed and clear from day 1. She does grade papers faster than any other professor I have ever had. We just had an exam in class and my grade was posted by the time I got home. Overall, I would score her a 9 out of 10.

Easy. Decent professor and I actually learned some stuff in a class that I could care less about. Overall I was pleased with the class. Also if you are taking AML2010 consider switching to AML2020 as you dont need 2010 as a pre-req and the literature is newer and personally more interesting.

She is awesome! if you can follow her directions (which are not that hard) you will do great in her class.

Fun class!

I took ENC 1102 online for this summer (6 week class) and it was extremely easy! She responded to my emails in a timely manner and gave me all the feedback I needed. I was not looking to be overwhelmed this summer I just wanted to get this class out of the way and I'm so glad I took her!

Dr. Medvesky is an amazing teacher. She helped when ever I needed it and her class was pretty simple as long as you do your essays! Highly recommended!

Shes a "cool" professor. Talks about sports and T.V shows in the middle of class all the time. This class is mostly a completion class, just do all the assignments and get an easy A because she grade them pretty leniently, just need to get them done

This was overall an easy class. The teacher is cool. Assignments aren't too hard if you study. If you want to get away from the essays of 1102, this is the class for you. This is also a real world class. I use this information everyday in the workforce. Actually helped me in my current job. I would recommend this professor and course

Took her for the 8 week blended class and it was pretty easy. Do the reading, do the weekly assignments, and occasionally participate and you will get a high A. She provides you everything, you just have to put in the work.

This class is very easy to pass. We had 5-6 books that we read, and I read half of one for the entire semester and passed with an A. Show up, PARTICIPATE, and you're golden. I must note though that you have to be a talkative person to go far in this class, because participation is key with her, and if your class doesn't talk... Pop quiz it is!

She is clear on the grading and very organized. Not many tests just a couple quizzes that are very easy and only 10 questions. No papers like a normal enc class only a few short one page papers. Very easy if you do the work!!

I love her! I am taking her for another literature class next semester as well. If you do the work you will get an A+. She is extremely easy if you just do what she says on time. There are little assignments and you have a week to do them. This class is for someone who struggles with papers because she doesn't give any and if she does they r short!

Class was pretty easy beacause she tells you exactly what you have due for every class for the entire semester. There are three short papers and a longer paper that are about TV, moives, and the news. She uses Facebook and TV Shows to explain how to write so it is pretty layed back. She is funny too!

Taken online in 6 weeks. One of the easier online classes I've taken! Great online professor! Clear cut instructions for EVERY assignment. She does take awhile getting grades back to you but will respond to emails very quickly. A few quizzes, discussions, and a couple of papers . I would definitely take her again and hope I'm able too!

This class was pretty easy. It is a 6 week summer online class and most of my summer classes are pretty laid back. Two papers, a lot of quizzes and discussion posts, four novels. It was on canvas which I am new to but the prof kept it simple.

Definitely take this teacher. She is by far the best i have had. She is very realistic about assignments and expectations. I took this online class for a 6 week course in the summer while working full-time and did awesome and still had time for myself. Not like any other professors.

This class was ridiculously easy for me- I got a 97.4 as a final grade. While I am not complaining, I do feel like there is room for more feedback on my papers.

This is an online class so Inhave not seen this prof in person. The system is not always working at the college but if you let her know what is happening she will extend the module for you. Dr M will help you out with whatever questions you have. I had a different prof the first session and I drop him and got her instead and a doing well.

Accelerated class. We missed one class because of Veteran's Day so she made the work due that day extra credit. She is funny, likes to tell stories, and uses tv and our phones to make class more interesting. I am taking her again for tech writing next semester.

She is very funny and makes the class very easy to pass as long as you are willing to put in a little effort. She gives very clear directions & a syllabus that outlines all of the assignments for the whole semester. I wish I could have taken her for all of my English classes because she realizes not everyone is a poet. Definitely recommend.

Stop what you're doing and register for her classes immediately! I took her online for ENC1101 over last summer and it was a pleasant experience, and I was dreading this class! We had four short papers over the course of the semester, nothing too extreme. If you're looking for lots of feedback, however, I'd consider a different professor.

Dr. M is hilarious! She will tell you stories and likes when you have stories to tell to the class. She is pretty forgiving when it comes to things happening and not turning in work on time. She realizes that we all have lives and that things happen.

I took an accelerated/blended ENC 01 course for summer A and it was an awesome choice. Do the assigned work and you'll get an A. Prof Medvesky brings in outside video resources to make the class more fun and she'll tell you what you need to do. We wrote 4 papers including the final and she grades pretty easily. Speaking up in class is recommended.

Dr. M is the sweetest professor out there. She helped me so much and she even contacted me the next semester to see if I was doing alright because I had been going through some issues. She is more than a professor because she listens to what you have to say and she pays attention to you and not just your work and grades.

Loved her!! Took ENC 1101 & 1102. Just do your work and you will pass. She is very simple and fair. Not too much work just the right amount. Grades don't post right away but loved her. Easy "A" as long as you do your work.

Dr. Medvesky is super chill and her lectures are enjoyable. Papers are homework is minimal. Do what is asked of you and you're good. She makes the class feel super relaxed because she's so friendly and nice. Try to participate in class, its the least you can do. Took her ENC1101 and 1102. Can't praise her enough!

I took this class over the summer online and got an A! It was super easy, we had around 4-5 short paper and group discussions. She is a very easy grader and she is willing to help and answer any questions you have! I would def. recommend taking her courses!

I liked her a lot, she graded fairly easy, my only issue with her is that she literally doesn't grade any of the papers until the end of the semester so you have no idea how you're doing all semester. It worked out okay for me but some people may have no idea they're failing till its too late.

Had Dr. M for AMLIT 2 this summer. She makes the class interesting and funny. She is super approachable and understanding. Two major papers, final exam and a lot of shorter writings. She is also sort of adorable but I probably should not be saying that.

She's very easy to work with especially if you have a full time job and need help rearranging assignment due dates because of it.

Dr. Medvesky took this class over for anther professor who taught us nothing. She is so helpful and understand and made us feel so much better about our grades. I am taking her again for 1102.

Dr. M knew her stuff!! She covered for a previous professor for the rest of last semester. Great lectures with some funny group activities to help us get into what she teaches. She is a fair grader too, there are about 4 short papers along with 1 final paper thats longer. TAKE HER and still put in ALOT of effort to get the best grade possible!!

Easy professor. Had a few papers and the prompts were extremely easy. Took this class online and passed with a high A just because the discussions and papers were so doable. I would definitely recommend her!

Angelique was truly the best teacher Ive ever taken. She gives freedom on some of her papers to be yourself and understands that we arent masters of English Communication. Definitely recommend!!! Ended with a 93%. Just do the work and youll get what you deserve.

Take her class you will thank me later!!!! She is the diffinition of awesomeness! Laidback and you can reach her outside of class. I took her 6 weeks class, we have 4 papers and the final paper is a 4-page paper. She does provide the topic, but you can come up with your own topic as well.

This class was taken online and was SO easy. We would have to read a passage/book and write a discussion, that's it, with only 3 essays (2 pages). All the assignments were easy and we had plenty of time to do them. The entire semester we had less than 10 assignments. Overall a great class and wonderful professor who always answered emails.

Took this class over summer and it was accelerated, but be ready for a decent amount of assignments. Easy grader fortunately but takes forever for feedback on papers. So if you aren't a confident writer I dont necessarily recommend. But as long as you do everything on time she's great!

I would highly recommend this professor if you have to take ENC1101. I took the accelerated online course and it was not difficult at all. There is one paper every week, a few discussion posts and a final paper. It's pretty hard to fail this class.

Chillest professor I've ever had. You don't have to stress yourself out studying, just participate. I got sidetracked by other classes and would forget to submit her assignments until the very last second and she still gave me credit. Any other professor would've just failed me. So thankful for her, I might send her a fruit basket.

Taking her class during my first year of college made my experience more relaxing. If you participate during the lectures and care about writing the papers, you'll do very well in this class. Though she she minimizes her feedback online, she is always available on Wednesdays to meet with her in person. I highly suggest taking this course.

Medvesky is a great professor! I took ENC1101 once before and failed due to being overwhelmed with work and hard grading criteria. This professor has been so fair with how she grades and how much work she expects. I haven't felt even slightly overwhelmed or burnt out this semester! Highly recommend her course!

A very easy A as long as you stick to the assignment. This was not an online class but attendance didn't really affect your grade. Most of what was covered in the lecture would be posted on Canvas and could be completed easily if you had to miss class. If you are worried about taking an English class, go with this Professor!

Not an overwhelming online class. She opens all her weeks at once, not much reading in ENC1101 but a little more reading load in ENC1102 but within reason. Just do the work and meet the writing criteria and you will pass, she is very fair in grading but don't plan on using feedback for current/future papers as she takes some time to grade.

Prof Medvesky was an awesome professor. She would never let the class run the full hour and 50 minutes it was usually an hour. We had 3 papers in a semester which was not bad at all seeing as she was a really easy grader. There was little to no homework and reading. When we did have readings there was usually an in-class quiz.

Prof Medvesky is the coolest. If you want to knock out your ENC credits but not be completely overwhelmed, take her. She gives a reasonable amount of work and will help you before submitting any papers for a grade!

All online & extremely easy. TAKE HER. Do your assignments on time and she gives you basically a 100% for everything. I think she doesn't actually read any of the assignments you submit, as long as it looks like you put some effort into it, you're good. I think she varies some of the grades so that not everyone gets a 100 in the class.

Dr. Medvesky is a pretty chill professor. Sometimes it takes a week or two to get a paper back. But on the flip side she is understanding if your work is late or you fall behind.

Dr. Medvesky was my first ever professor at SCF and she still remains my favorite. Unfortunately, my peers in the class were a little dry but she appreciates participation and she notices effort. Write your papers and treat her as you would your own mother and this class is an easy A.

Best professor, hands down. She somehow makes all of the most boring material so interesting, and makes long lectures enjoyable. Dr. Medvesky always encourages open conversation and really makes an effort to engage her students. I totally recommend her; she always gives great feedback and was always super accommodating.

I had this class LIVE and Dr. Medvesky made this class fun. We watched south park to talk about the stories. The breakout sessions were my favorite part of the class because we got to talk to our classmates even though we were online. If you need extra time on assignment she will work with you.

This class was online but I have taken Mrs. M before in class. She is pretty laid back and will let you make up work if you ask It has been awhile since I was in school the first time and she helped me figure out formatting my papers so I can be part of the 21'st century.

She was awesome! All my friends were telling me not to take ENC1101 online because it was hard, but I was surprised it was enjoyable and not too difficult.

Really easy course. It is mostly discussion posts and 2 essays. The course ended early as well, so I now have an easier semester.

Dr. Medvasky is very understanding. I had a bunch of personal issues this semester and she could have just easily let me fail but she worked with me to make up the work. She would also randomly check in on me to make sure that I was doing ok.I am grateful for the extra time and care.

Literally the easiest class I have ever taken in my life. Only around 5 papers due for the whole semester, she lets you watch a movie and use its analysis for a paper, and uses South Park episodes to teach certain lessons. And I actually learned. 10/10. If you get below a B in her classes you need to seriously reevaluate your life choices.

Medvesky is an understanding prof who works with students. The class is manageable, and unstuck study helped with study prep. Attending is a must, but the workload is reasonable. Would definitely take again.

I loved this class! I went out of my way to choose her again for Written Communications II after the first class I had with her. Her grading is very easy and I finished the assignments three weeks early, so I had an extended break in-between semesters! I highly recommend her!

took as an 8 week course. only grades off of discussion posts that are based on the readings for the week, two papers with simple prompts, one mla quiz, and the final. quiz and final are not honorlocked. overall easy course with simple work and would recommend if you need a lit credit.

Dr. Medvesky is a wonderful professor, and she knows her stuff on the texts she assigns. She's funny and is very laid back with her method of teaching. Do read her assigned readings for the week because this class is very discussion based, and she expects you to read the whole work before coming to class. Please just read the works.

She was an AMAZING teacher, great for intimidated freshman in college and she is very fair. I had a hospital trip while taking her class and she gave me extra time and was so supportive. 10/10 teacher.

I love how she doesn't grade harshly as long as you do what she asks of you. I had previously taken professors that graded so very harshly I was barely surviving in the class, but then I took Dr. Medvesky's class in the summer and I loved how light it was, I enjoyed my break and her assignments seemed seamless! I very much recommend!
