She sucks,She is a student at UF and thanks she is cool but she is not. I emailed her several times and she does not return my emails. Her class is not hard as long as you study. If you have any learning problems dont take her. I got a B and I study all the time.

Angie Semegon is a truly dedicated teacher. Her class is very straight forward. She is very flexible when it comes to assignment due dates, extra credit, and even test dates. She is understanding, cheerful,and genuinely cares about your understanding of the material. Her teaching style is organized, clarified, and she provides plenty of examples.

Her exams are ridiculous! So much information to study..but her teaching is great and she is super nice! Dont think you're gonna get by in this class without studying.

I took gen PSy and learned a lot. when i took her i left nothing nothing, i did get an A, but it wasnt easy, i did extra credit and studied hard, her class is cool and she is very fun, but her notes are hard to understand and some people asked very stupied questions and she always seemed to answer yes, which through me off, otherwise cool teacher.

Nice lady; her notes are online. Print them out so you can listen and not have to write during class. They are EXACTLY the same as her Powerpoints. Test are a breeze if you study and easy if you don't. She gives MANY extra credit opportunities.

She really brings psychology to life. The class is interesting and there is almost no homwork. Warning!! TESTS ARE NOT EASY. She gives you a study guide but it takes 8 or 9 hours to do it if you do it right. Half the info is from lectures and the other half is in the book. Unfortuantely that means the book is a neccessity. Also she gives LOTS of ex.cred. days just for going to class. Also lots of ex.cred assignments. All tests have study guides and she drops the lowest - meaning you could skip the final! AWESOME! loved her!

This class was interesting, yet, it was quite a bit of work. Her tests are rather difficult at times because it has material she did not go over. She does not respond to you if you e-mail her until maybe two days later. I would take Michael Barber or Bradley Daniels for psychology they are VERY GOOD! Enough said! Oh and she has a PH.D!

I love this teacher! She gives out extra credit almost every single week..just for showing up to class! There was barely any homework assignments but they have never taken me more than 5 minutes to complete! I really enjoyed this class. Dr. Semegon is an enthusiastic teacher and gives entertaining examples in her lecture. I like the fact that she really encourages the students to participate in the discussion and give their own examples. The tests are not easy but she provides a study guide.

I really liked Dr. Semegon. Her class isn't easy, but there is extra credit opportunity that she gives. The "final" exam isn't cumulative either, it's just whatever is learned after the previous test. If you're interested in psychology,I would recommend this class, even though it's not an easy A, it's very interesting.

There are few classes you take where you feel you learned something useful in life. This is one of them, and Dr Semegon is the BEST! It isn't an easy A. You have to read a lot, do the assignments and study. But it isn't the hardest material to learn and Dr. Semegon is a sweetheart. I highly recommend Dr. Semegon for any Psych class. She is awesome!

A very encouraging teacher. Offers realistic examples of course material. Often engages class in discussion as lecture material. Her study guides are helpful if you learn them to completion. Not an easy class, but you will feel like you grew as a person after you take her class.

She gives a lot of extra credit and is super nice. A great teacher and really fun to work with. Be aware on the first day of class she makes you get up and "introduce yourself". Super embarrassing, but after that she pretty much leaves you alone. All in all a fabulous teacher.

I took Professor Semegon in class for social psych and online for developmental pysch. Both classes were great! Like some others said, she gives tons of extra credit opportunities and is extremely helpful. As long as you read the material, study, and go to class, the exams and class as a whole aren't hard to pass.

I took Semegon online and she was AH-MA-ZING! She responds thoroughly and quickly, her hw/quizzes/exams are straight forward, and I received an A while taking BSC2086. Btw, this was for summer B. She gives TONS of extra credit. No excuse people!

Dr. S is awesome. i've taken her for two psych courses and she's been really helpful. Classes are really engaging and she's really good at explaining things. Gives you lots of extra credit opportunities and you get to drop one exam out of the 4 you take. Just go to class, study, ask for help when you need it and there's really no way you can fail.

Professor Semegon, was by far the best online professor I have encountered thus far. You never have to wonder with her. She responds to emails within a timely manner, and will always clarify if you don't understand. Her discussion topics engaging and realistic. I would recommend her to anyone. She is the "Ideal" professor.

In this class you have discussions, lots of extra credit, 5 exams, and you do work in the Smart Lab answering questions about the book, very easy class, but also interesting.

Everything was through LearnSmart (besides discussions), very easy class if you don't do everything the day before it's due. The textbook is also easy to read. There's discussion posts every week as well with strict criteria (having posts separated by 8 hours) which was a little annoying. Overall I recommend taking this course with her if you can.

Dr. Semegon was a great online professor! She is clear on her grading criteria, there are quizzes and discussions due every week and you have to do learnsmarts for credit! She offers a lot of extra credit, and the final exam replaces your lowest exam grade!

You can tell she loves teaching and loves hearing what her students have to say. She gives great feedback on discussion posts and seems like a really caring person. The LearnSmart assignments may seem annoying but they help a lot in understanding the material. Overall, I enjoyed the class and the feedback she would give.
