A very good psychology teacher; genuinely interested in the well being of the students. She is also very knowing of the material. While teaching her only source is powerpoint but she knows way beyond what is listed and provides numerous connecters to make sence of the many terms.

Mrs. Anis for me was the teacher that made her students success her personal goal and it showed. If all college professor are made up of the same stuff as Mrs. Anis, then you can count me in as a lifelong student. Learning from her was fun!!!

Mrs. M&M was an excellent teacher. She gave the material in different ways to help everyone learn. The only thing I didn't like was the way she combined homework and test scores. If you do well on the test but didn't have time to do the homework, your grade went down. She did offer extra credit so anyone should pass but she wants you to work.

Great teacher. Be prepared because this is a very speaking intensive course but it's easy if you study and she's great!

I was scared at first being a freshman taking a 200 course, but my fears let go. I did so good in this class, I don't have to take the final!! Awesome teacher!

Great teacher. Very intelligent and organized. She writes her lessons to be applied to everyday life. Also, she uses Quizlet, which makes studying the material a breeze. Will not waste your time with busy work and handouts/packets. Makes good use of class time, doesn't allow students to derail the discussion. Loved her!

Anis is very engaged with the class, knows her material and comes to class prepared to teach. Quizlet is a fantastic tool. I printed the powerpoints and used them as a reference to take notes. The extra credit points are an excellent motivator. Would ask that quizlet modules be set up as soon as we study the material,sometimes there was a delay.

Incredibly easy class. YOU MUST ATTEND. participation points are a HUGE part of your grade. Assignments and papers are generally easy. You have to give two speeches but they are not difficult subjects. Highly recommended class and prof!

Amazing class and amazing professor! Plan on attending most if not all classes because attendance is mandatory. Students are expected to give two individual 5 minute presentations and one 50 minute presentation that can be done in a group.

Anis has a unique approach to teaching Psychology. She keeps it interesting and relevant, and is always ready to clarify or expound on topics in class with her almost encyclopedic knowledge of the field! I was first enrolled in one of her courses by chance, but have since sought them out. She's my favorite.

Great class & instructor! Anis kept the class interesting by interacting with students during discussions and was able to relate talks to current issues/topics. She gave us every opportunity to succeed by offering extra credit & allowed us to skip the final if we had an A going into the final. I would definitely recommend taking any of her classes!

Mrs. McLin-Morris was a very thoughtful teacher. She explained herself very clear, she always put herself in our shoes to make sure we understood the material. It was a major plus to include Quizlet in the course. I feel that I learned a lot leaving her class, and I'm actually interested in further studying psychology.

I absolutely enjoyed this class! She used various methods of teaching and the interactive class discussions were a plus. There were many opportunities for extra credit and no one in the class earned less than a C, not because it was easy but because she was a great teacher who has a passion to teach, and who is great at explaining the material.:)

I definitely enjoyed taking her class. I wasn't hoping to an A as being one right out of English classes (ESL) but fortunately she had many opportunities to earn points to get an A. Also her lectures clear and easy to understand. I recommend taking her classes she keeps classes interesting with full of required information.

She puts all of her powerpoints on blackboard. She even gives you study guides. The only thing you have to worry about is the memorization part. You don't need to buy her textbook for Human Growth and Development. It's a waste of time and money.

Anis is the best professor I have had in a very long time. She posts all of her lectures online, so if you miss a day you wont fall behind. It is also great for studying for the midterm and final! Anis keeps lectures interesting by using funny but relative stories about each subject and having students participate in fun short demonstrations. She post her lectures on blackboard which is extremely useful for studying. She also uses quizlet which some students find helpful. Only 1 homework assignment and she provides opportunity extra credit.

I thought she was a great teacher but if you want help, you need to make the effort to ask questions. If you use your cell in class or work on other homework so she gives you up to 6 strikes. Lectures are interesting and if helps if you study outside of class. Overall, I would highly consider this teacher. Just make sure you go to class.

Awesome professor!Every lecture was different! I have the attention span of a squirrel.. However, with the combination of fascinating material and diversifying her delivery, I was always very in tune. I recommend this class to psychology lovers, anyone interested in the effects of substance abuse, even those who struggle w a loved one's addiction.

She really tries to help associate things you learn in class with your everyday life so you can remember. All lectures posted online. She answers all of your questions clearly. Don't use your cellphone or skip class too many time because she keeps track. But the class is great! And don't get the textbook unless you want to, it is not mandatory.

I remember that I was absent one day and she came to her office in her day off just to give me the assignments i missed. I gained a ton of respect after that for her because she didn't have to do that. She was very helpful, organized, dedicated professor who cares a lot about the well being of her students. I would definitely take the course again.

Pay attention to her lectures and take good notes. And when she says you have to study at least 6 hours outside of school on your own time, believe me I wish I did. If I listened to that my contest grades would've been better. Anis was a great teacher and I would take another one of her classes.

She lectures great and helps connect the topic on everyday life and she also posts the slides on blackboard. She will give up to 60 points worth of extra credit ( that's a whole test! ) She is very caring and understanding. You will BARELY get homework. When you do get homework it's straight off the slides. Tests are complex for that's tests!

this was such an awesome class and anis was the best prefessor ever!! it's a lecture class so it can get a little boring but it's overal for engaging and fun. it's kind of hard so you have to try to pass, but she makes it easy. she emails a lot and updates blackboard constantly. makes things fun, and interesting, SUPER AWESOME PROF!!

I had her for PSY 200 & ended with an A in the class & exempted the final because she gives out a ton of extra credit & homework (in a good way). She's great at explaining things & provides study guides for every test & is willing to help with whatever you need. She does go a little fast but posts her power points online. I lover her!!

Show up for class! She is really funny in a sarcastic way. As a psych teacher she obviously will find out if you're trying to be an attention seeker so leave the immaturity for high school and be an adult or else she will make you look stupid in front of the class. Only took 2 classes and easy presentations. Kind, understanding, helpful-Loved her.

I honestly could not wait to be in her class, she is that interesting and good at what she does. If you show up, pay attention, and do the study guides you'll be fine on the test. The extra credit was fun and helpful for the test. I would definitely take her class again.

Anis is an outstanding professor, knows psychology and makes it fun and very interesting! Her lectures are great, uses incredible content rich power points. She posts all ppt, study guides and additional information on BB. She goes out of her way to provide you material to study, and lots of extra credit opportunity. Tests are tough, so study.

Lectures are posted online and she gives you study guides. The homework is important because some of the exact same questions are on the tests. The tests are tough but she gives a ton of extra credit to balance it out. If you do the work and study you'll pass. Must turn off your cell tho because she will bust you.

She is the best. Her lectures are interesting and they cover exactly what she tests you over (I didn't even buy the book and have gotten A's on everything). Really, if you just go to class and pay attention, you'll pass. Take her!

One of my favorite teachers so far at Meramec. She is very lecture heavy in her class but they are not boring and are really nicely structured. We split all our test up and they are all multiple choice and very easy to get a A on them if you just study your notes. She doesn't trick you with questions. Also lots and lots of extra credits!

She's very clear on what to study and was the fastest professor I had for grading exams. She also has a simple point range system so you don't have to be a math wiz to figure out your grade. The only thing I didn't like was that you lose extra credit if you don't follow her behavioral rules (no texting). I learned a lot and would take her again.

She gives you every resource to pass, so its on you if you don't use them. If you want or need a certain grade you can get it if you put the time in. She knows her stuff and does a great job teaching what she knows to us. I wish I could have her for every subject! She provides extra credit as long as you are a decent student and are respectful.

Anis was an amazing professor, I took her class over the summer and she was everything I want in a professor. She covers the material thoroughly, has plenty of real life examples and videos of concepts discussed in the class, provides numerous resources for studying including quizlet sets and supplemental worksheets, etc. 11/10 would reccomend

This class was phenomenal and Professor McLin-Morris was outstanding! There is a textbook that she requires for her class but is an optional book since her class is lecture heavy. Your points will be accumulated from extra credit and tests that are based off of her lectures that are super interesting! I would absolutely take her again!

Took her online LVL psych class, she told us to basically work at our own pace, no LVL so basically all online class but she did offer LVL once a week if you had any questions. Lots of discussions boards but simple task. She posts lecture video to watch and fill out a study guide. lectures were about 1 hour long for each sections.

McLin-Morris lets you work at your own pace in LVL setting, does not require you to go to class. Posts prerecorded lectures for the week and an optional review at the end of the week. There are tests about every other week but if you follow her instructions and do the guides and take notes you'll pass with flying colors. She's always available too.

Professor Anis' intro to psychology course is phenomenal! The syllabus was easy to follow and complete and her video lectures are very clear and to the point. I can honestly say that I learned quite a bit about the human psyche. If you are reading this Professor, thank you for all your instruction!

I loved this class so much. It was so interesting. All you have to do is watch lectures and take notes, and they are actually fun to watch so it's hard not to learn. The tests are exactly what she talks about in the lectures and very similar to practice tests. Take this class if you can. Wish I could take it again.

Anis doesn't even make you show up for class, you can just watch the online lectures she posts. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about psychology. Her unit exams are very similar to what is on the practice tests. She even allows you to makeup tests you missed or did poorly on! Highly recommend her General Psychology class to anyone!

I took her psych class in the summer 2022 and she made the experience easy. In order to pass her class 1. study the study guides. 2 practice the quizzes. 3 Any worksheet she gives you. 4. Anything she writes on the board. Everything I mention will be on the exam. The discussion boards you should do it soon as possible; it took me at least an hour.

McLin-Morris was AMAZING. I wish my major allowed me to take more of her classes. My first ever Psychology class was with her in her Psychology 200 class. Even though I was supposed to take Psych 100, she made the experience so easy that I felt like I didn't need the basics. She is very kind and her explanations really make sense.

Lax professor regarding phones. Tests are difficult if you don't study every single slide in the unit, but she'll go through and get rid of any question too many people got wrong. Offers extra credit! Some of the subjects we spent time on were a bit strange especially concerning gender. Her attendance is an online exit ticket which was very tedious

This is a lecture class. She is super sweet but sometimes adds her own political beliefs into the notes and the tests, which you may disagree with. The class for me was tough as its very test heavy, but the final was the easiest out of every test. You do not need to show up every class but I promise you should as missing a lecture could cost you.

SO MANY extra credit opportunities! You will have the opportunity to earn 10 points each class and she gives a lot of extra credit assignments beyond that. If you struggle with tests, this will help you to still get a good grade. There are a lot of tests, but she has so many study resources on canvas. Super accessible and interesting class.
