Very nice teacher and although it was an easy class, I wouldn't mind having her as a teacher for another class as well!
Easy class, great teacher, great person
Great teacher... very nice
I had this sweet lady back 8 years ago, and i remember her husband who taught the class and both of them were great teachers!
Fun class, taught by both Anita and her husband. Very nice.
She is a fun easy teacher. PE 131, 3 tests and 1 paper. If you study for the tests- which isn't hard to do- then you could easily get a 4.0. I didn't study for one so I got a 3.0, only 2% from a 4.0. PE 131, 3 tests, easy once again if you study a little. Very intersting and nice teacher. She can bench 135 lbs..that's a lot.. I can barely the bar.
She was nice... one day she went crazy and snapped at us... but some good came of that because we got out of class early... the next day it was as if nothing had ever happened. Courtgames is one of the best classes to take on campus and Anita is an easy teacher to take it from.
Great instructor! We had so much fun in the weekend outside courses!!! Taught wonderfully!!! Such a great attitude!!!

She was really nice and helpful.

The worst teacher I've ever had! Such a discriminator and selfish...THe first person I hate here in US...HE know how to make your life hell...
Very good and pleasant woman...Always helps with anything...Always cheerful and ...just a great teacher!
Very easy 4.0 if you do the reading before a quiz and participate in activities
Fun class. She is very nice and was probably really hot in her younger days!
Awesome teacher! willing to even "participate" on the court!!!
GREAT teacher!! funny too! has a GREAT sense of humor!

I took her last quarter and I found her very easy to understand and she knows what she is teaching and she's there if you need to ask for help on anything and her teaching style is awesome. I would take her again in the future!
She was great and i learned a lot about heart disease...lost an inch or two as well...
good teacher. however it is PE so its hard to be a bad teacher.
fun classs always kept you interested
Her tests are kind of tricky, but other than that she is really good. She is really nice too.
She's a great teacher. Class was very easy as were tests. She is such a nice person.
I liked her so much I took three classes with her. You will get a good workout.
very easy class
Very friendly and helpful. Explains court games pretty well and is willing to explain it again if you don't understand. Enthusiastic! Wants everyone to have fun playing.
She's very nice and helpful. Willing to answer and help you with your problems in class or grade.
Great class. Attend. is important, after 3 absen. it affects your grade. Worked out everday- cardio 2days, weight train & lecture the other 2. Small paper, and 2 or 3 tests. Great class and Teacher:)
I don't remember which PE section it was but it was a volleyball class (1 credit) I suggest that don't absent and late either cuz she is strict on attendanse.
she is pretty nice, but the test is so hard
Extremely helpful & nice. Tests were hard, averaged a D on all of them haha. STUDY! But overall we just lifted weights & worked out in the fitness center & did a fitness test twice but it's an easy class. Attend everyday & take notes on lectures & study for tests then you should be good to go. :)
She's nice. You really have to study for the tests coz they are very tricky.
This is a good teacher who expresses interest in her students. but the tests contain some trick questions, and were VERY HARD. Study guides should follow the tests better. If taking this class online, be aware you can only use your personal email, no email avail. on website. And you can't interact w/other students when stuck on a prob. via website
She is so nice! If you're looking for an easy class, take this one. But always remember to study. If you don't take the tests seriously, you're going to fail. Also, attendance is really important as well.
Anita is great.
She's a really nice teacher and always willing to help. Attendance is mandatory. But if you show up and put some effort in, you'll be sure to ace the class. = )
She's the best P.E teacher ever. And she's funny too!
I took Aerobic walking. The tests were easy, straight from the book. She was understanding about my medical issues. At one point I got mad at her, but now I cannot remember why. Overall, great teacher. Easy class.
Nice lady. She does pull ups like nobodies business. I am not crazy that she teaches a subject and then quizzes two weeks later on it. I would get focused on my daily classes and forget about the test. PE only grades 4.0, 3.0, 2.0 so my test scores sucked on the 4 we were given and I ended up with a 3.0. That is my biggest complaint.
This volleyball class was extremely easy if you put forth an effort. There was no textbooks or tests, but attendance is mandatory since there is no way to make up class. You only get to miss 1 class and keep a 4.0. Every absence afterward loses a grade point. Dressing down is also mandatory and lack of correct clothing will count as an absence.
I took volleyball class from her. As long as you show up to EVERY class and are willing to try, you will get a 4.0. The class didn't have as much instruction as I hoped for. We played games almost the whole time, which was very fun, but I wish she would have helped us improve more.
She is awesome! So nice! just show up and try hard, this class should not be hard to pass. As for the tests, make sure you study, they were harder than I expected. Nothing a little studying wouldn't have cured.
Volleyball rocks! Attend on time!
The class I took was online. This is a workout class, so cardio is a must. The tests are hard, harder than expected. Read all the material and you'll pass the class.
The teacher's fine, but don't underestimate this class. You think it's just an easy PE class, but I *barely* pulled out a 4.0. One less point would've been a 3.0. The way it's graded, there are only 5 grades possible: 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. The online tests are VERY poorly written. I recommend taking something else to satisfy PE credits. Teacher is OK.
I took 2 classes with her, Weight Training and Advanced weight training. She is strict about attendance and the nutrition portions of the class. Other than that, she will go out of her way to help you out with anything you ask and is always babysitter mode which is amazing :)
The class isn't that big of a deal if you go to the gym 2-3 days a week, an easy A. The tests, papers and quizzes aren't that tough, you just need to read the book and pay attention to details. Anita is warm and inviting and a real blast!
Anita was great and communicative when class was in session, but at the end of the quarter, completely failed to answer my emails about an important issue that would affect my grade. I never got a response and that's really frustrating.
So hard
She isn't a easy teacher on tests. I studied for hours and still didn't do good at all. make sure! you memorize the reading or you will NOT pass the tests. She puts stuff on the test that she doesnt have you take notes on in class. For the p.e part just do the work. I HATE the grading scale she uses. if i had .2 more on test id have a 4.0 not a 3.0
If you skip 2 classes, no matter what the excuse is, including you being kidnapped, she wont give you 4.0. That annoying of a grader and a teacher. She put smile on her face all the time but she backstabs you. She explains well in class and her tests are fairly easy (I got above 85% all the time for no studying but listen in class).
She is very nice. She jumps around a little when writing on the whiteboard making note taking a little difficult. Studying for tests is vital other than that, there is no homework. Overall she is a good teacher.
Did not open my textbook once, so going purely off her lectures, I passed all the tests, but not great grades. She does not specify what you need to know for tests, and she is a definite type-a personality. One person grabbed their time card before she had finished strategically placing them out, she got mad and threw them all over. Was not a fan.
Hard test and strict on grading. Dont ever miss her class more than 3 days. She doesn't care about your grade and why you missed class.
Her online PE class was not enjoyable at all. You have to answer 35 hard totally random questions in 25 mins for exams. Good luck taking her! A lot of people failed. Working out does not count for much of your grade! If you can, DO take someone else! Especially if you have no medical background!
Fun PE class. Her notes were easy to follow and helped when studying, have to read the recommend chapters too though.
Her notes are so disorganized and tedious. Nice person, interesting teach.
As an online class you are responsible for doing your own workouts and keeping up with the assignments, all of which is relatively easy and enjoyable due to the flexibility. However, your course grade is primarily determined by your test grades, which is incredibly challenging, given the particular method in which the exams are facilitated.
Anita's testing style was insane. She doesn't cover much in class that has to do with the tests. On each online test you have about 40 seconds per question to submit an answer. She brags about her class having "high average scores" of 75%. If you want a nice GPA, try a different course.
Took her volleyball class, noone misses this class.. best class i have taken for sure! She is very understanding, when i didnt feel comfortable with my team she put me with people i worked good with THAT DAY :) I want to take it again!
Great teacher. I really liked her. She is pretty easy going. I hadn't worked out for like a year before taking total physical fitness and was a little nervous. She just expects you to do your best and actually participate. She is super nice and very knowledgable.
Anita is GREAT!!! She is super easy going and really nice. I highly recommend you take her volleyball class. Super fun and easy. Plus it's an easy 4.0. But attendance is mandatory. If you miss 2 classes, your grade drops a whole level and so on. 4 absences = F
She is cool teacher. Her attendance policy is very strict and her grading is only 4.0, 3.0 etc. and the tests are difficult. But she helps in the weight room so study hard go to class and you'll be fine
Nice enough lady, but her tests are WAY too difficult. Doesn't give a study guides and doesn't review completed tests. I studied hard and took notes during lectures, but I still couldn't get more than 75% on any. Also gives unclear assignments on occasion. Wish I hadn't taken her class.
She is very nice and easy going, loves to teach and work out. This class is super easy, it was only Monday-Thursday. The tests are somewhat difficult, but if you study notes taken in class and read the book you should do just fine.
I loved her as a teacher, she is very nice and willing to explain things if you don't understand. I would recommend her for any pe class.
I took the hybrid aerobic walking class. She is a really nice teacher and good at what she does. There were 3 tests, and you MUST study for them even if you think they will be easy because they are kinda challenging. But it was a good class overall.
Anita is a really great instructor. She is friendly and I really enjoyed her class. Definitely recommend taking her class.
Attendance mandatory! Do not get sick, if u are sick still come. Must read and study to get good grade! Questions are tricky.
As far as PE teachers and PE classes go,take this one! Attendance is mandatory and the grading scale is stupid, just go to class every day and for the tests, the lecture is SUPPLEMENTARY to the textbook.Read the textbook and THAT is what will be on the test.Think of the lecture just as reassuring the textbook sections, not as your main study source
I took Aerobic Walking with her once a week and she's a nice lady. The tests were online because it was a hybrid class and they were a bit challenging but okay. It was kinda fun.
This is the third time I took a class from Anita. She's really nice and I like her. I was seriously expecting the worst from the tests in this class because of the ratings here. It turns out that it's not that bad as long as you study her lecture and read the book. I didn't really even read the book, just skimmed it and I got a 4.0.
Best PE teacher at GRC! I took her online class and all you have to do is turn in the weekly exercise logs, a few simple assignments, and take four multiple choice tests throughout the quarter. The tests are difficult and the grading scale is stupid, but if you read the book and stay on top of things, you can get a 4.0 in her class!
Anita was great! She was always motivating students to try their best and was always available for questions during class. Highly recommended!
Basically the tests make or break your grade. The grading scale is basically 4.0, 3.0, 2.0 or you fail/don't pass because she doesn't give a grade to in between percentages. She doesn't offer extra credit and the tests are tough regardless of if you study or depend on quizlet/googling answers, you most likely won't get 100% on any of the tests.
Loved Anita's class. You're graded on 3 quizzes that you take throughout the quarter and she gives you plenty of time to study. Take good notes and pay attention during lectures. Also make sure to read the text book and study, if you do that I promise you won't fail. Anita's a really nice person as well.
Stupid grading system, in order to get a 4.0 you need at least 85% averages on test and no more than 1 excused absence. My grandfather died, and wouldn't give me an excused absence. Absolutely ridiculous
Tests are worth more than your exercises. You get lots of time to read the textbook but it was honestly so dull. Tests are tricky, 25 min for 35 questions. Statistics in the book don't match with multiple choice answers so I had to guess. Chances are, you can't get 100% on these tests even w/ the textbook. Glad I didn't take it in person.
As long as you show up and are ready to play you will pass this class.
Anita was an amazing teacher! There are weekly exercise logs you must do, a few assignments sprinkled throughout the quarter, and 4 tests that are 35 questions and 25 minutes each. For the tests, I recommend reading the chapter being tested, taking notes on it, and then study. The tests aren't terrible as long as you study. Definitely recommend.
The exercise requirements were very reasonable and fairly easy. However, most of the grade depended on tests, which were pretty hard and tested small details from the textbook. The textbook chapters were very long. I only got a B in this class, which is pretty bad for a PE class.
This class is much more difficult than you would expect. The walking assignments are a very small portion of your grade, so focus on the text book. The exams are extremely challenging, so if you aren't prepared, you will NOT do well in the class. The text book is dense and full of content about human anatomy.
She refused to bump my grade by .8% after I did all the coursework and scored highest on my quizzes. The course wasnt very well outlined and not as engaging as most physical education classes. Assignments were easy but she is very strict about deadlines.
Her tests are 25 min for 35 questions which is ridiculous considering that's not even a full minute per question. The class is based on 4 tests, and her tests are nothing like the assignments or what is in the textbook.
Her online class is manageable! Your grade is mostly based on the chapter tests, which aren't too bad. The test questions can get a bit specific though, so you do need to read the whole chapter, and that can be time-consuming. Overall, I'd recommend the class!
Super doable class. Only things that really count towards your grade are 4 chapter tests. 25 minute test for 35 questions, easy as long as you really remember what you read rather than just skim.
Should be able to easily get an "A" if you read the textbook. She replies promptly to questions and provides worksheets and powerpoints, which are extremely helpful.
Tests are kind of difficult, but you can just use Quizlet and get at least a B on them. Other than that, you just submit an exercise log once a week. Outside of tests, I maybe spend about 5-10 minutes a week on this class.
Took PE160 online and it was an easy class. All you had to do was the mandatory exercises (22 days total) and fill out a quick word doc. There were also four quizzes but the provided PowerPoints made the quizzes easy. Overall, I really liked Anita. She was prompt to answer questions, gave good feedback and was really supportive.
