She is very helpful and clear in her teaching. I recommend her for Childhood eduction if this is what you are going to pursue. She was absent a few times when I had her. However, she is one of the best at the College. Very sweet woman and always willing to help. Recommended.
She's very nice and her class is easy. Her papers are very simple. She basically makes you rewrite the same paper, and he projects are decent. She's an easy A. I didn't put much effort in her class. DON'T BUY THE BOOK!!! WASTE OF $110...

Dr.Ferdenzi is the best professor you can have for this class.She isnt too difficult.Shes very fair. Lets u revise any work u do including tests.However,it includes a lot of work. Couple of papers,2 tests & 2 big projects.She can be disorganized at times and unclear about assignments or due dates but always ask.She will always be helpful.Take Her!
If this is a required course for you, I suggest you take her. You have essays and presentation requirements and her midterm is not that hard. If you do the work, you'll like her despite the little disorganization.

She is too nice. it can be bad. She is not that clear of the works that we need to do. There is lots of hand on works. making posters, diagrams, and many things. if you like these kind, you will like this class. There is some writing assignments, but it is easy. just hand it in. she doesn't really give back the works maybe at the end of the class.
so nice, but she was constantly late for class and it was very obnoxious. the class is not difficult at all. i did all my work and took the class seriously, but alot of students did not, and it did bother me that she did not reprimand these students at all. honestly i think you could not do the work and shed still pass you. easy class.nice teacher.
She is a very nice professor. I recommend anyone to take her class. She is easy going and willing to help any student to motivate them and engage into learning. No need to buy the textbook. But,she does comes to frequently late. Also she assigns homework but takes forever grade them.
She is very easy. Most of the time she just nods her head and smiles...sometimes i dont think she really was listening, but overall shes very easy, and nice. If you just do the basic work and hand it in..youre good. A lot of arts and crafts projects involved. She asked for 30hrs of observation, i didnt do any and still got an A..no need for txtbook
Professor Ferdeni is a really good teacher, I learned alotabout education. She gives alot of work, but with clear instructions for complicated assignments,and was organized and well prepared and is always available to help and answers all questions. If you do the work- she made it feel like an easy A.
Nie professor but VERY clear with instructions. I heard its an easy class but how easy can it be if the instructions are so unclear? the students are always confused when it comes to powerpoints and assignments.
This class is an easy A. she's really nice. you'll love this class. she comes late by lik a few minutes but i dont see that as a problem because most people just want to talk with their friends.

Dr. Ferdenzi put 100% or more into the class and was very helpful, fair and cares about each student. Even though it was a lot of work, she is very organized so it made it easier for me. I enjoyed this class very much.

She is a very easy professor, she doesn't assign a lot of work to hand in, I did 3 power points for the whole semester and about 3 papers. Didn't do the field observation but still got an A. Easy A but bad with instructions and not very organized. Blackboard will be your best friend.
Dr. Ferdenzi is passionate about her work! She is very helpful and always available to the students. There is alot of work for the class but you really learn. She clearly explains all the education theories and assignments. If you really want to become a good teacher take her.

Pros: easy class, interesting, professor is nice Cons: she's always late and class runs over, half the assignments she posts or tells you to do, she forgets about or says you don't have to do them when she realizes the rest of the class didn't do them. frustrating because she gives A's too easily!

Dr. Ferdenzi makes the class so peaceful and simple. You really cannot fail this class, unless you never come. As long as you keep up with the HW, you will get an A. She helps you one on one if you need and and overallcares a lot for her students. Take her class if you can.
She gives out a lot of work and there is a lot to do because it is writing intensive but its not hard. Very interesting assignments and etc she gives out. nice lady and very smart. She says your grade is in your control and she is absolutely right.
Professor Ferdenzi is really nice. She gives a lot of work to do, but it's not hard to do at all. There's no final exam, just finish all the work she requires then you'll do fine in her class.

Very good professor. Clear and concise. Learned many new things and many helpful learning tools. There is a lot of work but if you do everything and go to class you can get an A.
If you want to get an easiest A, just take her class. She's nice and easygoing, not strick on deadlines at all. Will get a high grade as long as you do the work.
Overall, I think it was an okay class. The most important thing is to do all your classwork, homework, and projects. It all will be needed for the end of the semester for when she gives the final assignment. Also, do not procrastinate the field observation. Participate! She is a nice and understanding prof.
I took professor Ferdenzi last fall semester, she is the sweetest professor I have ever had! However, she is very disorganized. She deff an easy A just, no test, but a lot of projects and make sure you do the observational hrs
She is a great professor, easy-going, pleasant and helpful. Just do your work, and you will have an A. She appreciates sincere efforts rather than results. I would highly reccommend her. Also, she makes the class to engage into the group discussions, so you can find really good friends, and have fun doing the projects together.
Confusing and doesn't give clear instructions. But she's lenient. She doesn't grade anything until last minute and doesn't put up your grades online. Her class was okay not the best. Its a half online and half in school class so if you're not familiar with online use I wouldn't recommend it.
She's a nice lady however she's unclear about what she wants done which gets really frustrating. I ended up doing my field observation essay all wrong and was discourage to even continue her class. She also speaks in a very low-toned voice! I ended up dropping her class and took professor Shapiro the next semester. She is good!
She's really nice doesn't really expect too much. But she gives a lot of homework since I took a PNET class which was a little confusing at time but if you asked her to help you she would help you but she makes you work like assignments every week but no midterm or anything. A final but she gives out a review sheet and extra credit as well.

Most of the work she gives is online. There aren't any tests but the final but there are a lot of projects. You have to do your observation hours or you will fail. I would not recommend this class.
Professor Ferdenzi is nice and very helpful. She wants you to be a great teacher. When in doubt ask for written examples of the assignments. Also ask her for in class assignments. The examples will help you figure out what to do.

She's a nice professor, however, project instructions are very unclear. The class is based off 4 modules during the semester and it becomes confusing and overwhelming easily. Too many unclear directions and too little help from her results in lots of confusion. Pretty ironic for someone who teaches how to teach.
I took Professor Ferdenzi's EDUC 101 PNT (part online course) class. At first I found the work load challenging, a lot of the work was to be done online ( blackboard) and we met in person once a week, but she explains things well and is willing to work with you. I learned so much in this class. I'm proud of the work I did and how far I've come.
So i took a hybrid class that was half online and half in person. I did all the assignments, uploaded everything on time, and she gave me an incomplete. I have tried to reach out to her multiple times through email and by phone - no answer. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She is a very unclear professor and really does not care about her students!!
Professor Ferdenzi is such a sweet , kindhearted , caring person. Only issue was my class was partially online so it would get confusing but she'd always take her time explaining things in class. She'd make sure everyone understood and the work seems like a lot but it isn't. She gives interesting assignments. Loved her!
Do not take her class she is very unclear with all of her assignments. The due dates on blackbaord and the due dates she gives you are two completely different things, she doesn't post links on time. She gives too much work and doesn't explain her assignments well at all. The class itself is extremely boring
She was confusing about everything you needed to know. Wasn't clear on the assignments given by her. She does not give homework. only gives assignments that can be done in half an hour on blackboard. She has a great personality but isn't direct with what she wants when it comes to her assignments. You have to do 15 hours of observation at a school
She's NEVER ON TIME she's always twenty minutes late. She's never on topic you ask her one question and she changes the subject until last minute and puts everything up. She's very soft spoken so it's hard to hear her completely if you ever need help she seems to stay on one side of the room and doesn't acknowledge the others. She's confusing.
She is so awful, she is very unclear about EVERYTHING you need to do. She doesnt explain anything and when you ask her specific questions she doesnt give a good answer. Everything on blackboard is all over the place and finding where to submit links is impossible. She gives attitude when you tell her how you feel about the amount of work given.
There are literally four modules that are needed to be completed, one for each month. We spent so much time on module 2 for about a month and half because of a paper, homework, a PowerPoint presentation, and a visual aid that you have to make. She is always late, unorganized, and always gives smart remarks to her students if we tell her how we feel

Her class is so ridiculously difficult because she never explains her assignments. i entered QCC as an education major and switched to theater halfway through the semester because she made me lose my passion for teaching.
Do yourself a favor and do not take any of the classes this professor teaches. She is so unbelievably unclear. Her assignments are beyond confusing and she doesn't specify anything. I dreaded going to this class, she is so boring and made me lose my passion for teaching. If you decide to take this class goooooood luck, you are going to need it all.
Professor Ferdenzi is an okay professor. She talks very slow and if your class is early its hard to stay awake. But she overall prepares you to become a teacher and teach science. Spends one hour of the class reading to you what she puts online for you to do. But she postpones due dates like every week which is good.

My class was a PNT class, therefore we were assigned a lot of work on blackboard. This Professor is boring, I honestly did not learn anything in her class. She is a sweetheart, very professional, long lectures but if you do the work you will get an A. No exams are given. She allows you to make up assignments if you haven't done it.
She is an approachable professor, she gives the class enough guides for preparation of any assignment, she gives enough time to produce all assignment in each model, she likes participation because this is an Education Teacher course, she brings in workshops to help future Teachers in all it's preparation. I was able to get finger printed for free.
Wasn't clear on things. Not a lot of work to do. One month you're in class the next you don't attend class but still have to do the modules online. You have to choose your own public school to do teaching observations. Give you time to make up the hours. Make sure to ask questions and get work done on time. One group project. No exams, just h.w.
Dr. Ferdenzi is an awesome professor! No exams, only 4 modules so if you do all the work, you should get an A. Also, dont forget to do the 15 observation hours. Its not a lot of work, the assignments are very interesting and if something is confusing, you can always ask and she will gladly explain. I met a lot of great people here, no regrets!
Professor Ferdenzi was very kind. However, it wasnt easy to stay motivated in her class. Theres a ton of assignments she expects us to perform with vague and unclear expectations. She doesnt grade them until after class ends. Just do them, ignore how slow the class may seem to pass, and do your observational hours. Good luck!

Professor Ferdenzi is so sweet but she is very confusing. She will have you print out papers from assignments you have to post online and will sometimes lose your papers too. The modules and assignments aren't difficult but if you can get done the final assignments she assigns in the end asap, your life will be much more easy. Easy A though.

She is so confusing and at the end literally the last day of class she tells you, you need to print out a portfolio of all the work you've done and its not even organized on blackboard so you have to go folder to folder to get what you need. She made me not want to become a teacher.

Professor Ferdenzi was never straightforward in what she wanted her students to get done. She is a sweet human, but she is very confusing because she never seems sure with what she is trying to teacher her students. The class is not hard but I would not recommend because if you don't have anyone in the class you will never know what exactly to do.
She comes in late majority of our class meets. She does not really explain the assignments or teach the material. Everything is on blackboard and i guess she expects us to just read and teach our self the material. She is very nonchalant about being a teacher. She is "lazy". Its mid way through the semester and i honestly have no clue about class.
I didn't mind her class. She is not very specific with assignments or due dates, but if you speak to her genuinely, she will clarify for you. Assignments are easy and she gives specific instructions, but not everything is well organized on Blackboard. She is very sweet and understanding and works hard to inspire future teachers.
I took this class for EDUC101 & EDUC230.. And for both of them i Recieved an A+. She is an easy A, but sometimes she can be condusing when giving assignments just ask her to clearfy and she will help. Many bad recieves but I can say for myself that if your confuse just ask questions.

Recklessly unorganized. Broken modules, unclear instructions, NEVER available. How does it take a month to reply to an email? Withdrew from her class asap. She called me FINALS week to talk to me about my final. How did she not see I withdrew months prior? Brags about her class being difficult but it's just her, NOT the material itself. Horrible.
Professor Ferdenzi was great this semester, she was very good at ensuring her grading criteria was accessible on the Blackboard page and went out of her way to contact us during various times during the class. I would definitely take another class of hers.
Professor Ferdenzi is a sweet & caring individual. I loved taking her class. You will learn so much! As is expected with any class, you must read & be ready to reflect on what you have learned. Unlike High School, teachers do not baby you with material unlike what other reviews suggest. Her work is easy & very informative. I enjoyed her very much!
She is very easy and her class is not difficult. All you must do is read the material and do the homework, & trust me you will pass. There is a lot of work, but most work is easy to complete. She is a very inspirational & nice human being. All you have to do is ask, if you are confused or want guidance. She wants you to succeed! You will love her.
I took Prof. Ferdenzi online asynchronously during the spring 2022 semester. The class was fine, and I did not struggle to complete assignments. However, if you appreciate it when professors give feedback on assignments, consider taking a different education professor. When I was taught by Prof. Ferdenzi, she would always be behind on grading.
Never graded anything, did not know what my grade was until the semester was over. I got a C and needed a B to make this count. I have to take this course again, not looking forward to it. Has a research paper due at the end of the semester. Answered emails too late. Never announced when assignments were due. Have to check blackboard everyday.
She never grades anything at all, I taught myself the entire semester. She reads off the slides, when we did the class work I never really knew what I was supposed to do, I just guessed and I guessed correctly. I had to take her for my education major, But I do hope they replace her, it sounds bad. I'm just glad I passed.
generally, cares about her students & wants them to succeed, provides no feedback unless you ask, doesn't post grades either. sometimes hard to tell what is HW and what is a class work on blackboard. takes time to get used to her system but its not too hard. needed the class for my major. overall was good but if need feedback, take someone else.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! SAVE YOUR ENERGY AND TIME. All my time at QCC, I have never been met with such incompetency, lack of guidance, and NEGLECT from a "professor". She does not give deadlines, and then all of the sudden expects work due. She does not know how to use brightspace, so theres no proper guidelines on the order of her assignments.
She is a great professor, I had her for educ 101& educ230. In the beginning it was difficult to understand what we needed to do and when it was due, but as time goes on you start understanding her system. For those that complain she gives a lot of work, wait til you go into a 4yr college when you need to do lesson plans for 2weeks ahead of time.
