Professor John is an amazing teacher with tons of pratical, professional and teaching experience! She brings her professionalism and practice into the classroom and lets her students be aware what's expectwed in the "real world". Anita John has been one of the greatest profs I have had at Ryerson. I had Anita John for 3 courses during my career as a paralegal student and I must say that she is a knowledgeable prof. She is willing to help you as long as you want to learn, her instructions during class are easy to understand, and she breaks down the complexity of law so that you are able to understand. I would recommend this prof. to anyone.

This professor is exceptionally reasonable in terms of grading students. What it means is as follows: 1) Do not be lackadaisical - attend every class; 2) Listen lectures carefully and elusidate anything you have questions about; 3) The professor is extremally willing to help; 3) Lectures are important since tests are mostly premised on them.

Anita John is an amazing professor!!! She responds to e-mails within a day, she will meet with you outside of class, she will listen to what you believe you need in order to learn and work with you, tests are open book, open notes, I didn't want to miss her class, she knows the law inside out and is honest about the mistakes she has learned from.

Anita was not only my coordinater for my Law clerk program (which she is Amaaaazing at) but she taught us law procedures as well and always kept class fun which let's be real! All profs forgot to do! You would never think She's a Lawyer because she's so down to earth and really goes out her way to make sure you are comfortable in the course.

Anita John the program coordinator for the Law Clerk program was a great help. I was in a bind before a test and she help me through an issue before my exam and she helped me with it. I was so relived and able to write my exam with ease. She genually cares about her students success.

If you hv BLAW150, and you want to pass this course with an 80's/90's with minimum effort then take ANITA!!! I say "minimum effort" because she tells you exactly wt u need to know for the test plus, her jeopardy games are extremely helpful. I passed this course with 86% without studying from the slides, and only relying on her jeopardy games!!!!

Professor John is amazing and defintely one of the best professors you'll have. Each lesson is available on blackboard and the lessons are presented in a clear manner. She is one of the professors that cares about her students and their success. Got to class, you wont be disappointed!

I highly recommend taking Anita for Insurance Law. She cares about her students, and ensures that everyone is understanding the material. All her lectures, offline and online, are set out in a clear and precise manner, and she gets the students involved as much as possible. Her material is always relevant and she utilizes cases that are up to date.

Professor John is an excellent teacher and truly cares about her students understanding each lecture. Specifically in Insurance law, she did an excellent job explaining the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule, and the tests required in order to meet catastrophic impairment and what constitutes a catastrophic injury as this is a complicated area.

Professor John was my professor for Insurance Law and was one of the most amazing professors in the program. I had moments throughout the semester where I was struggling and she went out of her way to plan a meeting with me outside of class to help me. The nicest woman I've ever met, Prof John is absolutely my favourite ever. If you go to her class, you will pass. We had a textbook but I never needed it deeply, her lectures are very complete and so are her PPTs. Would recommend taking notes on the PPTs and the questions she does in class. Definitely choose her!

I only had online lectures but this prof is really good at teaching that way. I did not feel bored either compared to other online classes. She knows her stuff and is always there for her students. Hope more profs like her get hired.

She helps all of her students, and really prepares everyone for a test! She takes the time to do a fun jeopardy review games, which were extremely helpful!!

She's literally the best prof anyone could ask for, always super friendly and kind, likes to get people involved, really puts effort into her lectures. Her quizzes and tests were so easy too, gives unlimited attempts to get perfect on the quizzes and helps everyone prep for tests and the final exam.

Tests are not that hard. You just have to listen in class. For good grades and better understanding do take this professor.
