Dr. Naravane is one of the most phenomenal instructors I have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable. She is a medical doctor from India who really appears to love teaching. Prepare to study/commit...I made A's in both lectures and both labs...lots of effort

Dr. Naravane is an excellent professor! She has all of her ppt presentations available for you online to print out, and you can always email her and she will respond within 24 hours. Her a&p1 class is tough but with studying you can easily get an A or B!

a&p 2 is A LOT harder than a&p1, although with a lot of studying it's easy to get a B. dr. naravane is helpful and clear, and she's very sweet. you will learn a lot in this course!

Good teacher, explains material well, Its definately possible to get an A but requires ALOT of studying. Tests come from the notes she gives you. in A&P II she lets u use your notes on the tests.

I had Dr. Naravane for A&P I online, so I was very familiar with her teaching method. Of course science is difficult but she was there to help. She responds to your emails/questions immediately. She also invited me to her class as well as reviewed the quizzes/tests. The class is definitely not easy but she has the patience to help you succeed!

Dr. Naravane is e very thorough teacher who makes excellent use of the internet, even if you take her "in-class". Provides an atmosphere in which students who work can gain an excellent grasp of the material. Her lab tests, however, are extremely difficult and cause alot of unnecessary anxiety for a one credit class.

Everyone says she is hard. that isn't the case, she expects you to know the details, especially if they are spoken). She uses only notes and ppts, that she creates to teach, so don't bother with the book. She is hard to understand and that is why she posts transcripts of her lectures. know your material and if you still don't know enough cheat.

This teacher is very organized and knows her material. Her accent is heavy so sometimes it's hard to understand her BUT all of her lectures are available on transcripts.If you follow her plan of action and study, you should do well in the class. It's not an easy subject so you have to put in some effort.

This professor is extremely intelligent and covers a ton of clinical areas. Her tests and quizzes are challenging but she allows open notes on both which she provides! She posts her lectures online and uses advanced teaching tools. Pay attention to terms that she emphasizes and note them for tests & quizzes. Easy class: you get to use notes.

This course is ridiculous. She was a doctor in India so she teaches it like a first yr med school class. She also taught at USf med school. For an intro class it is ridiculous and the material is like reading an excyclopedia. Get someone elses past tests first. THE LAB IS EXTREMELY HARD!!!

People do whine about her. Look, she doesn't use the book, her notes are generally 5-8 pages long. So you can read(and memorize) a book, or some notes. The quizzes/tests are timed, so type fast. Have a good set up for your notes. Always make collages of the image database pics for the lab. without the collages, I would have had a C, and not the A.

Lab-summer term hard-lab as much work as lec. Not to bad if you make copies of PPT& detail about histo videos from the very begining. NO low grades drop'd, no xtra credit & no help w/grade average! Dr. Naravane is by far the best professor I have had. Im not going to lie, her classes are not for the lazy or the faint of heart. They are extremely difficult and you will have to study. But it is worth it. Ive taken Anatomy 1 and 2 in both lecture and lab from her. Her tests are very difficult, but if you want to be a doctor you LIVE difficult.

If you want to learn AP II and know how to apply it Dr. N is for you. She is tough. Absolutley.. I got an A in her class, but I earned it. No excuse to not knowing the material, she gives PPT, Lecture Videos, Printed Notes, and class reviews.. plus office time ! Makes sure to go over it until you know it ! If you put the time it.. she is SOOO worth

She is a VERY hard teacher! If you do not plan to set aside atleast 6 hours a week and study....do not take her. I took her online and passed but trust me she will not throw any grade your way. You get what you deserve. She only uses textbook as reference.

I took A&P 1&2 with this prof and I think she is great. She will go out of her way to explain anything although I found that ALL questions on the quizzes and tests were 100% in the material and ppts because I studied hard. If you are lazy and don't study you will not do well just like in any other high quality science class. Accent isnt a big deal.

Awesome Professor! I've always gotten quick responses from her when needed but I didn't need to really ask any questions because everything is clear in the material. All science classes are hard, don't blame that on the prof. Book was useful reference. Class is taught by PPT lectures so you can watch over and over again and study for your A.

Took AP2 Online.DO NOT BUY THE LECTURE BOOK. BUY THE LAB MANUAL W/CD. You must study and study some more. She narrates PP's, gives videos of class lectures, gives you the notes you need for quizes. She tells you EXACTLY how to study to get a good grade. You get what you deserve. Only take if you are a serious student. Show respect she's a rockstar.

Yes, this class is extremely difficult, but she tells you EXACTLY what you need to know for exams and quizzes. Watch the PP's several times and take notes! I took her for AP 1 and 2 and got all B's. I learned a lot but I really had to study.

This class was extremely difficult, but Professor Naravane really goes above and beyond to teach the material. She's extremely organized, and she makes a lot of different learning material available. All the material on the test is in the notes and videos, but you must know the notes. Questions are like "Pick the wrong statement."

I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about this professor. This is college Anatomy & Physiology, it's not supposed to be easy. I took her online and got a B+ in the class and I barely used the textbook. Her powerpoints, notes and recorded lectures provide all the information you need to pass this course. She is not difficult!

I took her online over summer for A&P1 lab. The class was fast paced but easy to keep up with. It's just reading her notes, listening to lectures, then quizzes and tests. If you do that you can pass easily. I got an A. You just have to make sure you read everything she gives you.

She rocks! Great videos and PPs. Anyone who complains about her beautiful accent is probably a redneck. Her class is tough and she will challenge you like no other teacher, but if you survive it, every other class you take will seem a breeze. I loved her class, worked m$@! off and got an A. I've taken all of my classes online so far and this professor is by far the best! Her power point narrations are thorough and she adds in video lectures. Study her lectures & PPT, If she expresses something more in her PPT in details- pay attention-you can replay it over and over-response fast-Stay organize and be prepared to put a lot of study time in- this is not an easy "A" class-but with hard work & diligence it can happen ;0)

Writing this after 2 years of online classes. Dr. Naravane is the most clear online professors you will have, regardless of major. She is a true teacher! Personally, I liked Dr. Naravane but this is a one (1) credit hour lab and I worked more hours on this one credit hour lab than I did in Ethics and Western Humanities combined. She has fill in the answer tests. I do her PPT and listen to each narration writing down pages of notes each week. Very intense class for 1 credit hour.

She was literally the best teacher ever!! She gives you so much material to help you excel on her tests its not even funny! I was taking six classes while taking her class(Stats, Psych, Spanish, Government, A&P, & the Lab) and have a full time job and still got a great grade!!! Best teacher I've ever had - and I've taken classes at Harvard, and have degrees from Duke and UF Law. She gives you everything you need to succeed. Hard class but if you study you'll do well. The video lectures let you go to class before class. Your effort plus her resources lets you excel. I only wish she taugh more classes for me to take.

Professor Naravane is the best anatomy professor that I've had. You have to put in the study effort for this course! She is willing to help if you need assistance. I liked that she provided additional study resources for each unit. Yes, her tests are hard but they require you to critically think about the questions instead of memorizing concepts.

Professor Naravane is wonderful. She is passionate about Anatomy and it shows in her teaching. She has so many resources available to her students, and her tests tend to be WORD FOR WORD from the lecture/notes. The small language barrier does make reading notes/listening to presentations difficult at times, though. Overall, great professor, though!

Amazing class. It is possible to receive an A but it takes work. There are so many resources Dr. Naravane has made for her students. I recommend reading the chapters along with the class notes. Any question she does ask is directly from the notes. I recommend her class 100%.

Dr. Naravane is tough; however, she provides you with all of the tools you need to succeed. She has real-life experience, so if you're a health occupations major, you NEED to take this class with her. You have to work for every point, but she provides lots of extra credit opportunities and this class is 100% doable. I received a 101% overall grade!

Very organized instructor, if you take her online course her lectures are on youtube which are VERY informative and she gives you what you need for all quizzes. Mid-term and final are not cumulative, which is great! Tests are timed, but she is generous about it. She also gives extra credit and bonus questions on final! I never opened the textbook.

BIG TIP: Really read everything she provides &look at all the sources she gives you! It will really help you gasp the contents & be prepared to do a lot of studying. The course itself is hard and contains a lot of info. This kind of course really requires you to work hard. I recommend! Midterm & Final proctored. 20-55 quest. no ridiculous 100 quest

I recommend both BSC2086 and BSC2086L together. Makes it easier for you to gasp the contents the professor wants you to learn. It's doable but you need to put time & effort. She's very quick about responding & provides lots of sources. No hw, mostly weekly quizzes & has 4 tests. (2nd & 4th are proctored). Grades fairly & very organized. RECOMMENDED

Professor Naravane, is very clear of what we will be tested on in class, I had her for both lecture and lab and passed with A's in both classes. I bombed the first test in the lab and I still got that A. Like any science class working hard you will pass.

All quizzes were open book and online. Unit Test were proctored in class and she allows you to use your notes and book. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities. There is a lot of material to learn but she is very knowledgeable and can answer any of your questions. Good presentation of material. Great teacher, would recommend!

Professor Naravane is a really good teacher. She really wants you to be the best you can be. She does make you work for your grade. Lots of extra credit!!! She explains really well and she has motes, power-points and videos of her explaining the subject. I would totally take her again!

I have taken Dr. Naravane for both A&P 1 and 2. Her coursework prepares you for the medical field. She gives quizzes each week based on the lectures she goes over, don't need a textbook because all of her information is on her notes which is accurate to the book. As long as you keep up with the course work you should get a passing grade!

It was a smart decision to take A&P online. Don't buy a book, you wan't need it. No dissection in lab. A lot of memorization. If you work hard you will get an A. TONS of extra credit. Will take again.

Tough course however Professor Naravane provides all information needed. I found that if I print provided power points and take notes on them as I listen to the lecture in an effort to elaborate on the subject matter was helpful to succeed. Afterwards I would review the power points and notes 1x-2x. Did fine on the quizzes and test.

Dr. Naravane explanation of the chapter material was far better than the tests. She provided PowerPoint presentations, Key Concept notes and video she posted for each subject. If you are serious about learning then take her class! She knows her stuff!

I only took her Lab class and it wasn't at all 4 exams a pre quiz (online) and a homework(easy) her exams are very similar to her unit review and test review power point. no tricks on the exams a lot if not all of the questions come from her reviews. of course you have to study but very easy.

Great professor. Unbelievably knowledgable on everything to do with the human body and the way it works. Most exams are open-note, but you really need to have a deep understanding to be able to succeed on them. I highly recommend Dr. Naravane for anyone going into the medical field.

I took her for A&PII and my A&PI prof. used her lectures for his material so I have watched basically all of them, and they are fantastic resources. She is very clear and give great examples and easy to understand scenarios. She offers clear reviews for tests and give Xtra credit. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing extra help.

I took this class online, and it was pretty tough. You really have to read the book and study. I noticed that the exams have nothing from the homework questions and she has no study guide so it was hard to know what to study. She does give extra credit though. If you have kids and work I suggest you skip this class online.

Teaches what you need to pass the course, If you make use of all her resources. Follow her content and make sure you can recall terms for the test because if you forget , you are doomed. She is INCREDIBLE!! It is a difficult subject, especially when you get to A&P2, but if you stay engaged and use her ABUNDANCE of resources, you will learn an incredible amount and it is very possible to get great grades! I cannot say enough good about her.

If I had not been working full time and applied myself more I would have scored higher. She is tough but definitely fair and very knowledgeable. Her powerpoints are helpful and she records her lectures with the notes she makes and uploads them to youtube.

My best advice is do your check your recalls in the lab book every chapter because they will be graded. Also study and MEMORIZE her unit review PowerPoint and her practice test PowerPoint. If I had done that every unit I would have gotten an A instead of a C.

Dr Naravane was an amazing instructor for my A & P II online class. Her lectures are recorded so you can go back and watch it as many times as you need before test and HW. Her Lab class online was actually fun. I loved her interactive exercises and videos. Dr Naravane is truly the example of how to hold an online class.

I took A&P 2 online with her. It is doable because of her amazing lectures that she records for you to watch. Be prepared for lots of homework and set time aside to watch the 1-2 hour video per chapter. Reading the book along with watching the videos along with paying attention to the homework/ quizzes answers you'll do just fine.

No group projects. Weekly HW& Quizzes. Study the quizzes and you'll do fine on the tests! Actually listen to lectures, those too will help on the test. She literally gives you all the information you'll need to pass the class, I honestly don't understand how you can fail. Fast responses and is always there to help. She posts her lectures online too

Not only did I take this class online, but also during summer making it A LOT of work. I love naravane, shes a great prof. If you watch her lectures, you'll do fine. But be prepared to put in work, 2 chapters a week. It's probably a lot easier in fall or spring.

Her online summer lab class was a lot easier than the lecture. Do the labs, fully, including physio ex and you should easily pass the tests. Almost impossible to get anything but a 100 on the labs. Quizzes and Tests are based off of them. Not nearly as much homework as the lecture. The proctored tests are written answers, spelling counts.

Naravane is a great professor, however I would mainly take her if you are going for a medical profession. I took her for A&P2 online and the material for the class was straight forward, and kept you on schedule. The material for the class was quite hectic with 2 quizzes and test every week. Shes a great professor, but would recommend this for Fall

I didn't take this professor but i was struggling in my AP class and was given her online lectures to help watch. Holy cow she makes things so easy to understand. Her lectures are long but easy to remember and she has little test half way in to help you understand better. Watch her youtube video if you are struggling.

Took Dr. Naravane for BSC 2085L online. I did not use the lab book after the first chapter because her online labs use videos and links that provide the answers. Her exams come STRAIGHT from her power point practice exams, which is more than kind. I seriously got a 100% in the class because of extra credit. Online is the future!

Dr Naravane was by far the most amazing professor Ive ever had. Tons of reading, quizzes, extra credit quizzes, but gives so many opportunities to learn. Pay attention in class, go to tutoring, it was challenging but fun. She is the best resource of all. Most educated woman I have ever met and it was a pleasure being in her classroom.

I taken the lab and course class online and by far this is the most organized anatomy class . Professor makes the class easy to understand gives lots of resources for you to learn the material. Must take as long as you do the assignments and study the exam guides you will pass. By far the best science course

Her lectures are really easy to understand, and she offers a lot of extra credit opportunities. She has videos of her lecture online for you to watch in case you miss something, and really useful study guides. She teaches well and all her quizzes and exams are straightforward.

I have no idea why this brilliant professor isn't at a major university, she is AMAZING & BRILLIANT! Her exams aren't cumulative so once you learn it it's done but you kind of build you knowledge as you go. Her homework/quizzes/study guide/power point will give you all the answers for the exam. She truly does prepare you for the medical field.

Took this professor for both lecture and lab A&P I and II. She is amazing! There s no way you wont get an A unless you don't try because she lets you use notes on all exams besides midterm and final. She basically gives you the questions for the exams/ tells you what to study/ how to study. Don't miss the opportunity to take her, you'll enjoy!

This professor wants to help you pass the class by giving ton of extra credit. If you take her notes and watch her videos, its going to be on the test. Her midterms and final exams were easy just study the test and questions from the notes! The tests were harder than her midterm and final exam. Get ready to study for this class!

Homework assignments were long to complete but helps you prepare for her tests. Lab activities online were fun to do! Her quizzes can be easily searched up in Quizlet. Midterm and final exams were easy just study from the quizzes and PowerPoint study guides (exactly the same).

Hands down the best professor at SPC. Very understanding, super knowledgeable and a very interesting lecture to be in. You need the lab book for her lab and just the code (Pearson) for lecture if you're taking it in person . Took her for both A & P 1 and 11 and i so wish she taught other subjects.

Dr. Naravane is amazing! She is really caring and does what can to help her students as long as you are trying she does what she can to help. I took her for A&P I& II lecture and lab and it is not easy! She wants to make sure you know what your doing but she gives you everything needed to succeed. Also she gives extra credit!

I took her for A&P 1, lab and lecture. She is very knowledgeable and makes you understand the information using everyday situations. She gives a variety of learning options that when all used together makes this class work. I have a much better understanding of A&P because of this and feel very confident moving forward in my medical career.

Took for A&P 2 lab online, she really cares and will help you as much as needed. she send me what I got wrong and how to study better for the next test. you need the book, her test are all "pictures" and you have to write out the answer. quizzes and labs as well easy from the book pictures and labels. study for the test tho 2 are proctored.

I took Dr. Naravane's A&P I during summer. She was very organized and gave the tools to succeed. Dr. Naravane does offer extra credit on each of her proctored exams as well as overall for tutoring sessions. The class was homework heavy, however, the structure made it manageable. I would recommend her for A&P I.

i took her last semester and i loved her. she really wants her students to exceed. great teacher. looking forward to take her again

This professor was AMAZING. I took her for A&P 1, A&P 2 and A&P 2 Lab. Those courses themselves aren't easy but Naravane did her absolute best to make it as easy as possible. She provides examples and relates everything to real life. If you study and stay on track, you're almost promised to get an A. If you have to take the class, take it w her

Dr. N has worked as a Peds surgeon around the world so she REALLY knows her stuff. She's exceptional at making the most complex problems understandable. The study guides replicate the tests almost identical (the last two had questions that were not from the study guide). There is an easy mandatory group project for extra credit. Just do the labs!

Prof. Naravane is one of the best, in terms of how in-depth and detail she goes into the course content. She is extremely helpful when asking questions, even with the pandemic. There are simple EC quizzes each week with mastering A&P modules. There's a total of 4 unit test, no final. There is a required TB, for her online participation Q's.

Overall, the course content and work are a bit heavy. There is one simple group project, 3 unit tests that are all written(typed), and labs/quizzes weekly. I never used the required TB for this class, but it will definitely help with studying. Prof. Naravane makes sure that you are prepared with reviews and study guides. Taking BSC2085 helps!

Professor Naravane is the most understanding professor I've ever had. She goes into detail when she lectures. The class work is a little bit heavy but she has extra credit almost every week and makes sure you understand the course work. She wants all her students to pass and she is very caring. I highly recommend this professor!

Prof Naravane comes on a bit strong but she is very fair. She gives a lot of chances to boost your grade with extra credit. She can be a bit long winded and repetitive, but it was a pretty easy A as long as you do the work.

Dr. Naravane was so informative and really helped connect your learning to the real world to help you understand more clearly. She was a pediatric surgeon so she really knows what she is talking about and is able to be patient and help you find a solution to your issue whenever you may have one. Definitely will be taking her class for A&P II

Professor Naravane was by far the best professor I've had. I had her for A&PI lab and was sure to sign up for her for A&PII lab as well as lecture. Her grading criteria is very clear from the beginning of the course, if you read the syllabus and dedicate adequate time to the course an A is easily achievable.

Very wise and gives so much extra credit. It saved my grade in the BSC2085 lab class too. Lectures are interesting, uses PowerPoint, and asks questions on a platform during lecture for a participation grade. I didn't use the textbook ever because her lectures are super detailed. Take the blended class. Most days are on Zoom not in person.

Fantastic professor!!! Her classes are highly informative, you will learn something! There is a lot of material to study, but she provides a lot of helpful supplementary tools to help learn challenging concepts. I would also like to mention that while there was an online lab manual, I personally didn't rent one and was able to get by without it.

Took her online for A&P 1 Lab. Found this course very achievable while working full time. Weekly lab and Quiz. Two chances on weekly quizzes. Exams are fill in the blank, not multiple choice (spelling counts!) but exam reviews set you up for success. Need the lab manual for the infographics referenced, but not much else. Would take again.

I have Professor Naravane for the lecture and lab. For the lecture she outlines items that are due every week through message, she is very tech savvy. She is very knowledgeable and prepares you for the exams. Lecture exams are open book open note. The lectures are mandatory but the information is crucial. Plus she has great fashion sense!

I liked her class, but get ready to study a lot. Lab exams are all write in no notes, but review her ppt study guide and you'll do fine. Lec exams you can use all of your notes though so they are not super difficult, make sure to review old quizzes and filmed lectures. She also responds to emails quickly and some exams have ec questions that help.

This professor sets you up for success. She/he wants you to succeed and pass 100%. Super easy

I'm currently in Professor Navarene's Summer Lecture and Lab course, and she is truly an amazing professor—very detailed, passionate, and committed to student success. However, I'm frustrated that we had to pay over $100 for a loose-leaf lab manual. In this tough economy, that kind of cost feels excessive and adds unnecessary financial stress.

Very clear on what is needed to pass, it was a blended class but like 95% of class was on Zoom, ALLOWS notes on proctored exams ( 4 exams total), tests r straight from the notes and ppts, some people say she is strict, but she provides everything to pass, easy if you put in some effort. extra credit assignment every week. 10/10 taking her for a&p2
