Dr. Bunting is a wonderful teacher. I found the class to be very easy. She is very helpful with MLA style issues. Good sense of humor. Never makes you feel stupid.

Wonderful teacher. I was not looking forward to taking a Comp class, as it's been almost 20years since my last one. She made it painless. I found that I was a better writer than I thought.

I hated English until I had this professor; I now actually understand grammar. Bunting does'nt penalize u for opinions. U can slant a paper the way u want as long as you properly support your arguments.

She was perky to a healthy degree; very excited about her field as well as others. Went out of her way for everyone regardless of capability. Great example of what a college professor should be, especially when dealing with comp and/or freshman classes.

She's really sweet and understanding. I had a paper that I was late on and she gave me plenty of time to get it done. She really looks out for the student :)

Wonderful teacher! I would recommend her! She is clear and concise, and very fair.

Helpful, answers questions. Doesn't mind emails and responds promptly. Will go over and over things for the students that don't get it (MLA documentation). Gives you the benefit of the doubt if she has a question concerning your paper.

I definitely recommend her to anyone. She wants her students to learn and is very helpful if you try and show an interest in her class. She is always willing to proofread papers before you turn them in so that you can have a chance to improve before receiving a grade.

Dr. Bunting is extremely helpful. She will red line papers for you before turning them in, she is extremely fair in grading and on tests and is always open for questions via email, cell number, home number. I took her for both English I and II. Highly recommended.

I took her class online. The way the site was set up was confusing at times. Too many links, etc. Overall, she was a good instructor and provided alot of feedback. I would recommend her.

I had her for ENC1101, 1102, and DEP 2004, I loved taking her classes. Made you feel that you were accomplishing something in her classes. She is very encouraging of her students but expects you to do the work. The courseload is pretty extensive, but I loved writing papers for her! I would highly recommend this professor!

Excellent Professor! Took her online class. It was a little harder than I expected, I definitely had to earn my grade. But she was very helpful even to the extent of meeting me to help me one on one. Definitely recommend!

Professor Bunting is helpful and easy to reach should you require aid. I took her online interactive class and earned every bit of my grade. It was not painful nor was it an easy A. If you do your work you deserve a good grade. She explains in detail anything you do not understand and will grade/correct your paper to show where you should brush up.

Took her english comp II class on-line. It was very easy. English is not my best subject. She gave lots of time to turn in assignments and make-up work. Good online class!!!

I have taken two online classes with Dr. Bunting now (english 1 & 2) and have been very thankful for my experiences with her. I must admit that I HATE writing papers, and this class obviously requires a good degree of it. However, Dr. Bunting is very helpful and fair in her teaching tactics. I only wish I could take more classes of hers!

She is fantastic. Very understanding and helpful. Plus her assignments are not too hard.

GREAT TEACHER!!! Had no interest in Eng. Comp 2 but required for A.A. She did a great job, answered email quickly. Very helpful and understanding. Gave confidence to a guy with no writing experence. She rocks! But there is a whole lot of writing, 4 per/week, so get a sharp pencil. I took it on the internet.

Dr. Bunting is great, very helpful and caring. Fast response to quesitons asked. Be prepared to write and write. Sometimes 4 papers a week! But hang in there and you will learn. I even like poetry a little now, but can't figure out the red wheelbarrow poem??? lol Took course on internet

Online: Mrs. Bunting is a good teacher. Expect to write about 4-5 papers (essays, research papers, etc) and the SLO exam was another essay you had 75 minutes to write from the time that you open the assignment and learn the subject. She responds quickly and is very helpful. Make sure you read the info thoroughly before taking quizzes!

She was a really good teacher and easy too. You only have to do like 4 writing assignments after readings and one research paper. You take about 3 tests after your readings.

I took her class online. I thought it was easy. Turned in a few things late, but was never penalized for it.You do have to read a bit, but it's called English Composition for a reason. I received an A in that class.

On-line class assignments were not too bad and the required amount of work was not a surprise. She is an English teacher teaching Psych so some of the test questions seemed unimportant to the subject & her papers do need to be in standard from as she requests. Would recommend for someone who has already mastered English and works well self-paced.

Easy A, for me. I got a little behind as is easy to do in an online format, but I was able to catch up without my grade suffering. My experience with her was positive and I would take a class with Dr. Bunting again.

Took online lifespan development with her. VERY EASY class, you'll use your book a lot, but everything's open book, except for (4) 500 word essays that need to be almost perfect MLA format to score a 100% Would recommend this class to anyone wanting to get a psychology credit out the way. Great Teacher! Very Nice, Responds to e-mails fast, and points out mistakes for you to correct and return before grading an assignment. I would definitely recommend her for English. This next semester I am taking ENC1102 with her.

I took English Comp I & II online with Dr. Bunting and def recommend her for any class you can take. Her test are open book and very easy. Her grading is not harsh as long as you follow her page setup for MLA. I would take more classes with Dr. Bunting if I could. I received A's in both classes.

Exceptional instruction. If you truly have the desire to become a better writer and follow all the rules then Dr. Bunting is the professor to take. I was never good at essays until this class. This teacher is very understanding and allows the chance to fix errors and turn in again. She is fair when is comes to grading. Put in the time and effort into your work and you will get an A as I did. Only one writing assignment per week along with other little assignments.

I took this class online and I could not have asked for a more helpful instructor. She makes herself readily available to answer any questions or to clarify things that you don't understand. If you truly desire to be a confident writer who will be able to tackle university level studies then this is the professor to take.

Dr. Bunting made onine instruction look easy! She was always readily available, took time to answer any questions NOT covered in the syllabus, returned calls AND emails, and was very clear as to what needed to be corrected to do better next time. I had her for Life Span Developement, and plan on an online Comp class with her in the future.

I took Ms. Bunting's class online this spring. She is a great teacher. She allows you to resubmit work if you haven't done something right (such as citing..). She has gotten back to my emails right away, I feel she has been readily available to help.

I took Prof. Bunting for English Comp II and she made it about as easy as I could have hoped for. I took the class online and she was very helpful. It's a decent amount of work, but probably not as much as you would expect in this course. Great professor, but I'm glad to be done with English!

Dr. Bunting is a very professional and expects the best from her students. She is extremely helpful and will answer your questions. She grades her work on time and if you are having difficulty she will even do a phone conference. Had two semesters with her and I would take any of her classes again. Excellent professor.

Took this class online, not to much work. Dr Bunting answers emails fast, and will return your papers and let you correct them. She is a hard grader, but will let you know exactly what is wrong when she returns it. She gives you all of the work on the first day of class.

Just finished class with Mrs. Bunting. She was a stickler on MLA style. Grades hard but is just trying to get you to learn proper style. Very helpful when you email her. Summer class was a lot of work but not unbearable.

Dr. Bunting's online class requires dedication and hard work. She is a stickler on MLA style, but will return papers to allow you the chance to correct. Also, she is very helpful if you email her to ask questions or request help. One advantage is that she gives you the entire semester of work on the first day. If you take this class, Proof read!:)

The teacher is a tough grader, however she will return the work and tell you what you need to change to meet her standards. Yes it is hard work, but not to much! This class is easy if your self motivated.

Dr.Ann Bunting is very helpful. she is very strict with the MLA citing , but she will return the work and ask u to correct it and resubmit. the online class requires extra work but she will help u in anyway possible. very quick to respond to emails.I highly recommend her.

Very tough but fair on grading, gives an opportunity to fix mistakes. Of course she takes points off for mistakes, this is college. Expects students to write at a college level and follow current MLA rules exactly. A lot of work but not impossible amount.

The professor is strict with grading. She is willing to have you redo papers if there are too many errors. She gets back to you quite quickly. This class will take up your time. The textbook was HEAVILY used throughout the course, if you dont have it would will fail the class because every exam question and answer comes from the book.

Online class. Professor was very helpful and answered questions quickly. I had to submit an assignment late and she had no problems accepting it. There is a lot of writing involved but your taking English, so it's a given. I would take her again for English II.

I loved her class. She is very helpful and willing to work with you always. It's not the toughest class ever but I learned a LOT from it!

I loved having Dr. Bunting for English Composition I! I have no regrets for enrolling in this class because she is an amazing teacher, makes it fairly easy, and her assignments are surprisingly fun! She pretty much gives you two assignments a week, and they are easy enough to do it the day of. I have her now for Comp II as well.

Dr. Bunting very thorough, but she is very fair. She is very strict on MLA format. In ENC1101, she does give you the chance to fix errors before issuing your final grade. In ENC1102, she expects you to know the criteria and what to do. 2nd chances not given. She made ENC11011102 enjoyable. I would highly recommend her to any student at PHSC.

Professor Bunting was a good teacher, but be ready to write! She was good with grading and gave students a second chance to change things and turn them in again. She told us to buy the book for the class but ended up not using it; she just went off the school website.

Dr. Bunting is a great teacher. The class I took was online and writing is required, however, Dr. Bunting gives clear instruction and each assignment leads up to the final product. Anytime I had a question Dr. Bunting replied very quickly and grades were always posted promptly.

She gave clear instructions on what she expected out of students. She opened the course before the semester started so it was easy to get ahead. Grades & emails were typically returned within a day. Not a tough grader, but is strict on MLA. Gives good feedback on ways to improve. Always informed students on status of grading and extended due dates.

Professor Bunting is a good teacher. Although there is homework every week, it is reasonable and at times, enjoyable. Her class is based off of literature so essentially you read the material she gives every week and then you write about it. She made us do one research project but it was very reasonable and simple. Again, she does make you work.

Took Eng Comp I online. She is a great teacher. Gave great feedback and the opportunity to fix errors which, in turn, led to better learning. She truly wants you to learn the subject (which I am NOT the best in). I did get an A in her class due to her explanation and her teaching methods. I hope to take her Eng Comp II class.

I had Dr. Bunting for my first college English class. It was scary at first but she replies in a timely fashion to emails and works with you when you are stuck on anything. I would highly recommend.

I had her as an online teacher and she worked really well with me. She had clear grading criteria and is not too rough on late work. Just follow her instructions and you should be fine. Only 2-3 assignments due a week and everything flows into each other so you are actually making progress, not just doing some BS essay.

Professor Bunting is a kind teacher. As long as you keep your papers simple, it is easy to pass her class. If you need feedback or any help, she is more than willing and quick to respond to your needs. I do recommend that if English is not your strong suit to review your first few papers to not make the same error. Do read from textbook.

understanding when it comes to if you need more time on an assignment

Mrs. Bunting is a very caring teacher who only wants the best for her students. The class is very easy. I showed up once every two weeks and still got a 92 in the class. Just do the work and you will be fine

I really liked this professor, i would've taken her for comp 2 if i could've. The class was really easy and we got to leave early basically each meeting. You write a paper for her to get a feel on your level of writing, you spend the remainder building your MLA paper. It was a nice learning experience.

Professor Bunting is excellent with explaining things in and outside of class. She will go out of her way to make sure you understand the material as long as you ask for help. She gives take-home quizzes. The textbook is online so you won't have to purchase one for this course. No extra credit opportunities.

Professor Bunting is the head of the English Dept, but is extremely forgiving. I hadn't taken an English class in 20 years and still managed a B! I will definitely try to take her for future classes.
