She teaches the class in an easy format. When it comes times for tally of grades she always rounds down even if your closer to higher grade. No exceptions. I found out the hard way. Stay away from crazy teaching assistant!!!

The best math teacher for you, explains everything step by step; she can answer any question so that it makes sense to you! Take her class you won't regret it, neither will your Gpa as long as you do the homework and ck your quizs.

Easy at first but then it became overwhelming for me

I love Anne. She is an awesome teacher. She will go over things again and again and has a teaching assistant available outside of class hours when she isnt available. I wish she taught the higher maths as well.

Ann is a really nice teacher, her lectures are just a little slow,but the class is pretty easy, and you can take home your quizzes. Oh yea, and it will take her an hour to explain x+3=5, and how to solve it

I don't know what some of these people are talking about..they must be good in math. For any of you who are like me and are HORRIBLE at math,take Kmet. Tons of extra credit, explains things throughly, tests aren't suprising. Great teacher really cares.

Such a great teacher, so helpful, all her test questions are from the take home quzzes, go to the tutoring center if you don't understand anything. I took Lines and got a d/f on all my tests, took her and got an A on every single one of them,

Anne was a really good math teacher! She is easy at first then tends to get really hard at the end! Your whole grade is based on your test grades and the final!!!

I hated math, until i took Ann. She explain everything thoroughly. If u want an A, get ur quiz checked. The test are the question from the quiz. Easy A.

It's true she starts off really easy then gets really hard towards the end! tests are a major part of your grade but then again there is alot of help offered.

I'm at SDSU now, studying history, but I'd like to comment on Prof. Kmet. She makes math easier. Take this class if you're not good in math. Although I got a C in her class, she was very helpful and broke down the concepts bit by bit.

I'm not very good at math, but Miss KMet helped me to understand things clearly by breaking the concepts down piece by piece.

What a wonderful professor.She is patient,explains things very clearly.And works with the students,she does not make you feel silly for asking questions she takes time out for everyone.She also has a TA by the name of MARYLEE who is as wonderful as her.

Ann Kmet is the best teacher i have ever had for math. She will take the time to explain each detail until everyone understands. I wish all teachers cared this much. The quizes are easy and the tests even easier. She is a wonderful woman.

She is very nice and helpful. Great teacher to take if you don't always understand math. She'll throughly explain topics and offers extra help if you still don't get it.Tests are clear and the same problems she gives you on the practice exams,w/ diff. #s

You MUST take her! Very articulate in directions, and step-by-step guidance, all the way. Quizzes are TAKE HOME, & for tests, NO surprises-she'll review what there will be. The FINAL, if you study the TESTs, you will do it! AWESOME, no fail class.

She has a very easy grading system. i think tests are a big part of the grade but everything that is on the test has been on the homework and quizes so it's very hard to miss anything, unless you never show up to class.

her voice is annoying,but tolerable. take home quizes you can even check the key. final worth about 20%. Chapter tests are HUGE only about 3 or 4. shes available out of class. Dont talk in class..she gets angry!

shes a boring teacher but she only gives three tests and all th test questions are on the ten quizzes which you have the opporunity to get an a on all of them because she can help you and the tutorss can help you. she a n awsome teacher take her ansd yull get an A.

This class is so Easy!! Only 3 tests and all the questions are on the take home quizes. the final is made from questions on the tests!! I would recomend this class if you want an easy A.

she's a really easy teacher and really nice too..she does get upset when people talk over her, who wouldn't?? she teaches you like a kindergarten teacher..making you understand more..her tests are pretty easy and she give you a packet where it tells you all the h.w. you have to do through the semest

KMet talks kinda weird. As much as she may break down the work for you...welcome back to the 1st grade. What ever you do, don't talk over her or else... LOL! She is very touchy and has a small prissy attitude but she can be very nice. If anybody is up to give her a makeover, its highly reccomended!!

This teacher is amazing. She's the nicest lady! She makes sure you understand before she moves on. I highly recommend her to anybody and everybody. There is nothing unexpected. You have all the answers for the tests because they're straight from the take home quizzes. I love her. She's the best!!

Oh come on, people. Shut up about her voice already. That's not the most important factor in a professor. She's a wonderful teacher, and who can blame her for getting annoyed when you talk over her? She made me understand math, and that's a feat in itself. Thanks a million! :)

Professor Kmet is absolutely wonderful. She really cares about her students learning algebra. She is super nice and is always willing to help her students. I highly recommend her. She rocks!!!

Ms.Kmet is very helpful and fair. The quizzes are key in her class, get them right you will do great on the tests. I received a B in her class and this is coming from a D/F math student. Warning, be aware of the loud disrespectful students in the class that like to arrive 10 minutes late.

kemt is nice, overall but treats her students as if they where in elementary school. She does not allow ANY talking in her class and her voice can be rather annoying.It is a harc class for people who don't learn math easily, but she is there to help you when you need her to.

what can i say about Professor Kmet? she doesnt allow any talking even if your trying to help fellow classmates understand the math problems, the class can be dull sometimes, but i enjoy being in her class! Overall, she's a easy teacher just aslong you study and do your hw!

I stink at math but I passed her class with a B.Ask questions, see her or her assistant for help, pass the quizzes and you'll pass the class. I highly recommend Ms. Kmet. Yes, no talking during class unless it's to her.

Kmet is a great math teacher. I failed the first time I took her, but only because I never studied. Second time around I studied and got an A. I actually understand math now. Quizes are take home and if you study the quiz you'll do well on the tests.

oh my god she is so slow i could broil and cook myself before she finished one problem, she constantly repeats herself in a monotone voice to where your supposed to learn without question or your supposed to sleep in that class, either way your getting something out of it...and sometimes your like plahdg;lk asdf;lgasdf adfhdjsfdfdsfdfdsd;lfkdjslkjlsf;fja, and then other times your like...ohhhhhh i understand now, so its confusing and educational at the same time...i dont know whethere i like her or not now.

i hated math before i got to her class! now i really don't mind it at all, she makes it easy for you to understand. she is always there to ask questions and is very helpful. i have never had a math teacher explain things so well! she does get mad if you leave early but thats not that big of a deal, she just doesnt want people to disrespect her. i think she is a wonderful teacher.

Math challenged? Take this class!! She is absolutely the most thorough math teacher I've ever had. She's so helpful. The quizzes are take home and you can even have them graded before you turn them in. Every test question comes from the quizzes (only different numbers). You would have to be completely asleep at the wheel not to get an A.

This class is sooooo easy. The quizzes are take home, and the test questions come from the take home quiz. If you suck at math this is the class to take.

Anne Kmet is very helpfull and easy to understand. I went into math thinking that I would never be able to pass, I got an A in her class and loved every minute of it. She made math very easy for me.

she is very helpful and has personal tutors for free if you need help on certain days. she doesnt leave anyone left behind. if anyone is unclear on anything she stops the entire class to help which is not like most math teachers. i never understood math until taking her class. you are also allowed to check your take home quizes at her office!recomd

Take this class! Ms. Kmet makes it easy and now I don't dread Algebra. Do the work, review your quizzes, don't talk in class and you'll do great. I wish she taught Statistics!!

I didn't get a good grade in this class- but it was completely my fault. She provides you with EVERYTHING. Sometimes she was so honest and compromising I felt bad 'cause people were bound to take advantage. If you’re terrible at math- take the class. Had I not messed up I would have gotten an A without fail. She's a very good instructor.

She's a good teacher but she has the most annoying voice and I could never really concentrate because of it. That was a huge problem for me. But she is willing to help and you can practically get an A if you get all of your quizzes checked before turning them in.

Ms. Kmet is a very knowledgable math teacher. She is interested in her students passing the class and has an excellent assistant. This woman saved my life. She helped me bring a terribly failing grade to a b- in 4 weeks right before the semester. if you really prove youre trying she will shine a light in the tunnel and show you an easy way out. she is such a sweetheart and so straight forward. you can take home all of the quizzes and get 100% on all of them.

Very nice lady, her voice is obnoxious but that's the only thing wrong.. you'll get over it. She goes V-E-R-Y slowly to make sure you get it. Homework doesn't count for much so if you miss something it's not the end of the world. Made sure she or someone else is always available for help. Hands out Take-home quizzes, that you can do in groups. easy

Very boring, tedious, and her voice will lull you to sleep...HOWEVER, she makes it VERY easy to do well and is, in general, a very nice lady. If you need to pass this class, take it with her and she will provide all of the essentials to ensure your success; if you're ADHD prone or get bored easily, just make sure you sit in the front!

If you do not pass this class, by no means is it the fault of this instructor. She teaches very well.

She is a very nice teacher and explains problems very very well. Quizzes are mostly easy and tests are very short. You can do very well in this class. She gets very repetitive though and can get kind of annoying. She hates it when you leave class early without asking and stops everything if people are talking during class.

I reccomend Kmet. She is soo easy. She offers extra credit. The exams are exactly like the take home quizes. Im passing with an A+.

Great teacher. I cant empahasize that enough. She is a fabulous teacher. Ten take home quizzes I repeat take home quizzes. Your also able to check your answers in the study center. Three tests. Fabulous instructor who gives excellent notes. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

She is a really nice lady. Though she does tend to teach each concept 10 times....it helps. You can not tunr in work or turn it in late ( a few times) and you can still be able to get an A. Be on top of the due dates and if your a self learner you can ditch class and still get an A. Otherwise, the class is very helpful.

Ann is a lifesaver! I have always been horrible at math & I was going to fail the class till she showed me the way. She truly wants to help you and will try all she can to get you to pass so long as you communicate with her and show the effort. In the class itself there are 10 take home quizes, weekly homework, and 3 tests, but it is really boring.

Ms. Kmet is an excellent math instructor. The material is a little dry but hey, its math. She is very thorough which is great, especially for someone like me who's not so good with any math. And she always very willing to help. Great math teacher!

If you dont pass you are VERY LAZY. she gives soooo many opportunities for you to pass its rediculous! TAKE-HOME QUIZZES that can be graded before you turn them in and homework that is given credit for as long as you did it (doesnt have to be right). shes boring at times but its worth it in the end. TAKE HER!

I too have never earned an "A" in a math class until I took this one. She explains things in a way that is easy to understand. She's friendly and helpful, but some might think she lectures as if she's teaching preschool. Still, I highly recommend her. She makes math 103 easy! In fact, she's the best intermediate algebra professor on campus!

Quite a bit of hw but its all odd problems and take home quizzes are pretty cool but theres a lot of them. Tests are easy if you study the problems on the quiz that she tells you too its very easy.

As the oldest student in the class(45)she made algebra easy for me to understand. If I can pass this class w/ an A, anyone can. Do all the homework & study! I took this class several years ago in the summer for 4 weeks. I was really determined to do well in the class. She actually likes math and she makes it less intimidating. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

Struggled thru Math 90 and Ann is refreshing change. She teaches only what you need to know and very specific, organized & clear. She really wants you to succeed. Take all the good comments and multiply by 10 = Ann Kmet. She does speak w/monotone voice and I did doze off one morning, but she has the gift of being a great math teacher.

She makes sure you understand the material and gives plenty of examples. She gives you take home quizzes. study all your quizzes and you'll be fine on the tests. Study the tests and you'll do fine on the final. Great teacher, she wants you to do well, but she does tend to be repetitive and talks in a monotone.

My last math teacher recommended Kmet. Ann's math class is not very difficult and is well organized. All quizes are take home and help you learn the material. Homework is annoying but only 5% of grade so is not a big deal. Just do good on her take home quizes and tests and you'll be fine. Recommend this class for people who only need math 103.

She is truly an amazing teacher. She is very clear in what is going on and what is due. 3 tests, 10 quizzes, and homework. Sound hard? It isnt at all. Homework is all odds and you dont even have to do all the odds. Quizes are easy as she gives you the answeres in the Math Study Center. The test are hard but I hate math. Wonderfull teacher!

Easy math teacher to take for those who hate math and have a hard time. This is the teacher you should take very stright forward.. Gives homework everyday but its very helpful and take home quiz. Quiz questions are exactly the same on test just different #'s. And final exam questions out of three test took during entire semester.

If you REALLY HATE math then TAKE her. I didn't have any interest prior to class, but that's because of how much I HATE math, but I got B in her class (which in math to me is like an A) and I am really happy. You get a total of 10 quizzes(all take-home), 3 tests and 1 final + HW. Tests are right of the quizzes and the final is right of the tests.

Very easy class and laid back teacher. A little monotone, but if you want to learn math (especially if you HATE it) this is a great teacher. She only assigns homework problems with answers in the back of the book and the quiz keys are available in the study center. Tests are really short. Very simple class, perfect if you hate math.

Awesome teacher! teaches very well and if you pay attention and are not distracted talking with others, you will do fine! only assigns problems with answers on the back of textbook and is willing to do 1 on 1 to help you. Makes not strict with the quizzes and can be turned in late with at least half credit. test are short and easy. Recommended!

Was not looking forward to taking Math after 2 years of not taking it, but she was a great teacher and made me love the subject! She is pretty boring, but easy to follow and has very good notes. I got almost 100% in the class. She is the easiest teacher I've ever had and would love to have her again.

Algebra for non-math/science majors: obviously none of us were looking forward to this class. Her voice is kind of grating at fist but you get used to it. Otherwise she was a great teacher, very clear and very helpful. Wants you to pass. Highly Recommended.

Great teacher, dreadfully boring (it is math so don't be surprised), Easy A even if your bad at math, Take home quizzes, HW is a joke 5% of your grade. Tests are identical to quizzes diff. numbers same with the Final to the tests. 3 Tests 1 Final 10 quizzes. She explains everything, perfect many examples per lecture. Only problem I had was boredom.

Professor Kmet is a God-send to any student that struggles with math. She makes sure that the notes in class relate to the HW. All quiz problems come from HW AND all Exam problems come from quizes so there are never any surprises. Grades fairly. Quizes are also take home and the answer key is in Math Study Center. You could not ask for a more clear math teacher. Good lecture notes, take homes quizzes (answer keys in msc), and test questions taken directly from quizzes. Available for office hours. If anything her voice always made me doze...Better make coffee a prerequisite for class meetings :)

Very good at teaching lower level math; if you struggle with any of the concepts she is willing to answer questions and goes slowly. i had trouble staying awaks, but it was review. Easy class, easy, kind teacher.

I hate math but i love this teacher! attending class is a must if you want to learn anything. If you fail, its ll you! Quizzes are in the math study center so there's no way you can get fail them, honestly the only hard part of this class is probably the final b/c its cumulative... i'm currently attending so idk yet what that looks like! take her!

She covers everything you need to know thoroughly. Kind of a lot of homework. Take home quizzes about every week. She gives PLENTY of time to complete quizzes and hwk. Quiz answer keys are in the math study center and you can get all the help you need on them. There's no reason that, with a little effort, you can't ace this class.

Great teacher. She is so nice and makes everything very simple and easy to understand. She is always available to help. Quizzes are straight from homework, Tests are straight from Quizzes, and final is straight from tests. This would be a hard class not to pass.

I failed this class before with another teacher & prayed to the Gods that someway I could somehow get out of having to take math, well she was my answer. This class is so easy. Homework is 5% of the class, there are take home quizzes, learn how to do the quiz problems, you will pass the class easy. She goes very slow, which helps. TAKE HER!

Kmet is my hero! I am horrible at math, but I got an 86% in this class. She's not the most exciting teacher, but she goes over everything that you need to know slowly & clearly. 10 take-home quizzes, 3 tests & the final, plus homework. If you can get 100% on the quizzes & hw, then you can pass with an average of 62% on all tests.

Miss Kmet is a life saver when it comes to learning math and truly understanding the steps of any given problem. She emphasizes a point and than reemphasizes it so that you get it engrained in your head. If you show up to class, you should have no trouble understanding the homework, quizes, or tests. Plain and simple, she is a wonderful teacher.

Best math professor ever! I have always struggled with math and did so well in this class. She teaches in a way that will make you understand. Take her! You won't regret it.

Her class is pretty easy. She practically gives you all the answers on each of the 10 quizzes (which are all take-home) and then gives 3 tests (in class) based on the quiz problems. The final is comprehensive & uses the problems on the 3 tests with slight alterations. Homework worth 5% of grade. My problem: the class is boring.

If you don't pass this class it's because you didn't TRY. She goes over every step so that you really learn. She encourages students to ask questions and is very patient! There are 10 take home quizzes (she leaves the answer key in the math study center). 3 exams (all w/ problems from quizzes) plus the final (comprehensive). TAKE HER!!

If you're looking for an easy A this is it. If you're looking for a teacher who cares, this is it. Kmet is really clear and helpful. She does a lot of baby steps and repetition but it helps so much! Definitely a good teacher for students who haven't done well in math before, you will now.

She is good will make you understand the material. She will give 10 home take quizzes and her 3 tests are from these quizzes only different numbers. The final is from the 3 test. Homework can be done online too.

Prior to taking the class, I figured she would be some incredible super-teacher. She's not, but she definitely has her good qualities. If you're interested in actually learning, she's great to have, but not the most exciting teacher. As much as I'd love to look forward to this class every day, it's just not made all that interesting.

Her voice makes me feel sleepy but otherwise a REALLY helpful teacher. she gives you take home quizzes where you can check the answers in the math study center so you can get a 100. the tests are based on the the quizzes. Just do your homework and quizzes. Its a lot of work but if your willing to do it you''ll be fine.

Ann is a great math teacher I would recommend her to any one I used to hate math in high school but now I enjoy it. You can go to her office any time and she will help you. Her test aren't that hard they are based off of the quizzes which are take home by the way.

She goes over new sections every class, it may be boring but she goes very slow and is VERY willing to help on her own time. Take home quizzes every week which she gives you the key for, homework takes a little time but is helpful and easy. ALL the tests are exactly like the quizzes so thats all you need to study. SHE IS SO SWEET AND VERY EASY!

Shows every single step in problem solving which can be very helpful. Gives take home quizzes with keys at the math center to double check. Is strongly committed to make you progress or move on to math 160. I took math 103 during intersession and had to drop it. With her I'm passing the class.

She's wonderful! She goes step by step which can be boring but it helps a lot! She'll help you any time you need help during her office hours or after class. She gives take home quizzes you can check your answers make sure to get 100% on each one because it can affect your grade as in help it or make it worse if you don't do well. So check them!

She is a very good teacher! Coming from a person who hates math and got an A in the class. Just make sure to pay attention in class and ask questions because shes always happy to answer them. Do the homework, it's good practice and you'll get a good grade no doubt.

Great teacher and fantastically helpful during all tests. Hw isn't a must do. Although many times lectures will be difficult to understand. Ask for clarification on ANYTHING and she will make her best effort to help you understand fully. I have never EVER been good with math, and she was fantastic help. Definite recommend if you struggle with math!

ms. kmet is one of the clearest math teachers i have taken yet. I struggle in math and after her lectures I never feel worried that I don't know the material. She is slow in a good way and really explains the materials especially if you have questions. Would take a math class with her again.

She's clear & detailed about every step to each math problem to make sure every student understands how to do it. The homework can be done online or through textbook. The study guides & tests are identical, so study well & you'll pass! *finaloptional if A grade*

Mrs Kmet is an awesome teacher who knows what she teaches. If you ever need help, she is always there to help you. Test are difficult only if you don't do the quizzes.

This is my 2nd time taking Math 103 and this time, I'm getting an A!!! I tested in the lowest math and worked my way up. I'm terrible at math. I highly recommend Ms. Kmet if you are like me! She explains things very slowly, and even OVER explains stuff. Answers to quizzes are in math study center so definitely go there, they are also very helpful

Ive never earned an A in math before but Im on track for a near 100% thanks to Ann. She is very caring and will take time outside of class to help you succeed. HW isnt due until test day and all quizzes are take home w/ the answers provided for you. Tests based 100% on quiz material. She repeats herself a lot which helped me remember the material!

I've never received an A in math before this class! Math 103 with Ann was so easy that it was actually fun to do the homework. Lectures can get boring but all quizzes are take home so it is really easy to do the quizzes as she's teaching. The is very flexible when you need to meet with her or if you need to take a test on a different day.

Shes amazing. She tells you exactly what problems she will put on the test from the study guide. The study guide is helpful because her tests are straight from there. You can check your answers for the study guide so you should get A on every single one of them. I'm NOT good at math but in the end of the year I had 94%. Shes very nice and WILL help

Professor Kmet is one of the best math teachers I have had in a long time. Her grading rubric is clear. All the quizzes are take home quizzes, which has the answer keys accessible outside of the classroom. There are only 3 tests and the final exam. She really does want the best for her class. Show up & you'll pass. Easy A.
