This class sucks. Take it if you want to commit suicide or spend lots of money on drugs and alcohol. Furdock if your reading this find a new job because you suck at teaching.

First of all I did well in the class, but this lady is a horrible teacher. She takes a month to get your test graded, not very clear in class. Lab is drawn out just so we have to be there 3 hours. The final was upwards of 200 question there is no way to prepare for something liek that. Bad Teacher.

Not very helpful and very unorganized

DO NOT TAKE FURDOCK FOR ANY MICRO COURSE! She is a horrible teacher, and extremely unorganized! She never gives, exams, term papers, or reviews back, and has the corniest jokes. If you do get stuck with this $%^*(, just remember, nothing is her fault and it is always your fault.

Awful professor...don't take her...she's a $#%&* and not very nice in general. Not helpful at all and very boring...she's not a ppl person. She needs to take a communications class and learn how to communication with students and ppl not on her level...which I can tell you no one is on her level!

This lady is smarter than the average person. But she doesn't realize or doesn't care that the rest of the world is not on her wave-length. Her method of teaching confuses a lot of people because she skips around the book not putting together the whole picture. I don't recommend her class. Be cautious if u r taking other classes with this one.

Absolutely the worst professor that I have had. Very disorganized in every facet of her job, yet she tests you like she is the greated professor ever. Her class was a totally disheartening experience.

This woman is the WORST professor I have even encountered in my entire life. Prior to attending this class I had heard negative things about her. I figured that she couldn't be all that bad......SHE WAS! She's very unorganized, very rude, very unfair, her tests are intended to trick students (not to determine if they know the material) etc.

By far the worst professor ever. I took advanced chem in high school and got an A. Thought I should take a harder professor I was barely pulling a C. Don't take her. Her "quizlets" are tests her tests are like midterms, her midterms are like finals!!! She makes learning hard and painful.

After a completely confusing year of study, she gave us a 200 question test with 30 extra questions added on.Then she ask use to rate her, but we had to put our names on it, so needless to say it was all favorable. AVOID!! She was sapposed to be fired this year, but scammed out of it.

What she says is on the test isn't, what she say she is going to do, she doesn't.

She is really the worst teacher I've had beside Mr. Fontaine and even he seems good now.. she seems to ramble on and on about one little thing in the notes and gets really sidetracked. She forgets to put up reviews and never returns anything back. The whole class emailed her for a review and she ignored us all and gave the test on a random day.

She conveniently "forgets" to post test reviews, it seems as though she can never think straight and she never emails you back. my whole class emailed her about a review and not one of us got a response needless to say we all failed that test! horrible!!!

Like everyone else, I have to agree THE WORST PROFESSOR EVER. She jumps around so badly that you never know what's going on. She is so unorganized. Also never send that woman an email. Two hours before our final, she sends each of us an email telling us what she added to the study guide. We're lucky she even made a study guide. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She has to be the worst teacher that I have ever had. I was a dental hygiene student and she told me that hygiene students were usually her worst students! Not a bright comment, if you ask me! She is unorganized and has a strange delivery with her teaching. Her tests were a nightmare e.g. cut and paste from other exams. Do not take this teacher!

This is the absolute worst teacher ever. Never take her, she shouldn't even be a teacher. Her lectures were boring, unorganized and she talks in monotone. Not helpful at all when asking questions. She made me feel dumb alot when i had a question and asked, therefore never ask her questions! I had to withdrawl because she was so terrible!

As a student that with a strong medical background I did fine in her class, however, the students fresh out of high school who did not dedicate a large amount of time to studying on their own struggled. She gives out so many bonus opportunities because students do very poorly on her exams due to her inability to effectively teach.

Very aloof. She is a bad teacher and rarely goes over material clearly. Our class average is terrible. She makes it nearly impossible to get a good grade unless you make this your only class. Her tests are hellish. Worst class I have ever taken.

awful professor. I studied my butt off and nothing showed on the exams. She is very unclear on instructions, and unorganized. She only gave our grades back twice the whole semester. I had to withdraw from her class so i didn't ruin my GPA. She doesn't help if you go and ask her a question. She is just an overall horrible professor.

She is horrible. Don't ask her questions because she will not answer them. She will tell you that she has a fancy degree and therefore she is right and you are wrong with no explanation. She is rude and if I could give her a helpfulness rating less than 1, I would.

Not a very helpful teacher. Doesn't give grades the entire semester, so it is a toss up until the end to even know what your grade is. Don't ever email her, because you will never hear back if you need help or clarification. Tests do not even approach what you are taught in class. Rambles about nonsense not related to class. From the few exams and quizzes I got back I didn't seem to be doing too bad in the class. We took an exam and a final on the same day and I have no clue what I received on either. Anxiety is high while waiting for the toss up for what I received as my semester grade. No grades returned=no idea what to work on. Overall, nice professor though.

Switch professors now. She is completely disorganized, does not hand back tests, and has no means of proving what your grade is. Her test questions are designed to trick you. Worst prof i have ever dealt with. She also encourages you to ask questions, but then will make you look stupid for asking them.

SWITCH WHILE YOU CAN! I made the mistake of not switching!! :( I never knew what my grades were which is stressful with a competitive health major. Most of her questions for anything were true and false and tricky on purpose. I disliked her teaching skills very much. SAVE YOURSELF from a wasted semester!

to anyone considering taking a class with this woman, let me tell you that it will be one of the biggest mistakes that you will ever make.

Although she is incredibly knowledgable on the subject matter, the course is completely disorganized and inconsistent. There are plenty of opportunities for extra credit, however, unbeknownst to the students until the end of the semester, she will dock these points if you aren't following lab/lecture protocol. Do everything you can to avoid her.

Horrible teacher. Doesn't even have a nice personality. She usually has cocky responses to questions, kinda makes you feel stupid. Loves to create huge packets of notes which she does not go over clearly, you pretty much teach yourself and read from the book. Test and quizzes are hard, I never took a test where 80 questions out 100 were true&false!

Oh, PCT put you in Furdock's class? Guess what? They just put you at a SEVERE disadvantage. Not only will you struggle to pass, you'll learn next to nothing. You might as well stay home and teach yourself bio, because that is exactly what you'll be doing. Worst professor ever. Everyone taking her deserves a refund. Good luck gettin in your program!

She provides multiple chances for extra credit. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. She puts bonus questions on all tests and quizzes. She will tell you what they will be on before hand. listen and go research them outside of your book. She expects you to be able to apply everything, but she's terrible at explaining and teaching. Kind of a teach yourself course

If you still have time to get out of her class, DO IT. RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK.

Absolutely the WORST teacher you could possibly have for biology. She does not teach anything that is relevant to what you need to know to succeed in Bio 125. Shes rude, unorganized, scatter brained, and makes you feel like an idiot for asking any questions. If you decide to take her class, make sure to thank her for wasting your money.

Gives study guides but the study guides and tests have no correlation at all. Gives extra credit which is the only reason I got an 80% in the class. During the final, she gave us TWO tests, yeah TWO. A regular test and then a final in the same day. The last test was on the reproductive system. She gave us the material less than a week before.

Study guides are nice, but they have a lot of extra information that isnt on the test. If you fail one of the lecture tests, don't plan on getting any grade higher than a C. If you miss class be prepared to be REALLY behind. Doesn't give you enough time to study the material, and is VERY UNORGANIZED.

She is by far the worst teacher. She gives no homework. As for tests, if you fail any quizzes or exams, might as well forget passing.

The worst professor I have ever had. Her lecturing skills are terrible. Her notes are even worse. She is so unorganized, you can't follow anything she says. She is very rude. Study packets have nothing to do with the tests. Tests and quizzes all True and False. Just all around a horrible professor. If you know you have her, immediately drop it.

Worse teacher I have ever had. Unnecessary projects that take away time that you could be studying for the class. Makes you feel stupid for asking questions. I emailed her a month ago about a quiz and she never emailed me back or spoke to me in class. Told us everything that was on the quiz and then half of it was stuff we weren't supposed to know.

Gives a lot of true & false which aren't as easy as you would think. On top of that students had to correct her on some quizzes that she marked as wrong even though they were right. This teacher has been at Penn College for ages and there are very few people who believe she should still be there. She is very disrespectful to her students and is a very poor teacher. If you do not put in the extra effort outside of class, you will fail.

Feels like the study material doesn't match up with what's on the tests or the questions are formed in the least intuitive way possible.. where even if you know the material you still can't answer somehow. I've spent many hours studying for a D on tests. Also rude responses every question.

I took loads of notes, did almost all the extra credit, and studied the ridiculous amount of materials, and still got low scores. Material barely covered or that we were told not to worry about were often a large portion of the quiz/exam. Any questions were met with condescension. If you take her, prepare for 'gotcha' questions and info overload.

Literally the worst teacher ive ever had. all of the tests and quizzes are true or false questions that have nothing related to the study guide or was information you were told not to worry about. don't bother asking her a question, she is really rude and condescending. If you're taking her class, I suggest to drop immediately and never look back .

By far the worst proffeser I've had at penn college, and I am not usually one to complain. Very unclear and confusing. Quizzes and tests are very difficult. Many students in class have already dropped and the rest are struggling to pass. Says she will email us grades and never does. I have put in great effort in this class and struggle to pass.
