I think Dr. Whyte is the best professor at UCF. If you make the effort to get to know her she is very helpful and willing to explain things until you get it. She explains tough subjects as simply as possible. I took her Business Finance(A) as well as intermediate corporate finance(B) she was awesome for both. She also makes a boring subject funny.

I have never been the best student and was very fearful coming into this class. I now have an 88 and have really enjoyed this class. If you buy the note taking guide and make use of the TA office you will pass with flying colors. I wish I would have known about the TA help desk at the beginning of the semester and not halfway through. Go to class.

Professor Whyte is one of the best professors I've had at UCF so far! Her way of explaining the how and why in finance is extremely thorough and easy to understand. For someone who's not good at math she is awesome. Her tests sway a bit from the quizzes but if you take time to understand the content her exams are straight forward.

Awesome professor, I watch her lecture at home with the note-taking guide on hand , she is clear and teach the material that will be in the test. No need book, she upload everything in webcourse. Definitely isn't an easy course but she gives you all the resources you need to pass.

Class is not easy, you have to be pretty self reliant. Not difficult to get a decent grade if you put in the work and do the quizzes over and over again.

The class itself is intensive, Dr. Whyte does a very fair job on the structure and the grading of her test. She provides all the needed materials for anyone to get an A in her class.

It's a hard class but not impossible to get an A. Pay attention in class, do a lot of practice problems & get StudyCube to prepare for the exams and you'll be good.

This class is easy if you do what she tells you to do. You don't need to read the book, but actually do the practice problem and take the traditional quizzes more than once. Professor Whyte is an engaging teacher in my opinion. She works through a lot of examples to make sure you really understand the material. Textbook is not needed for this class only the workbook. Really make sure you buy and follow along in the workbook as this is the key source in passing this class. I took this class before reduced seat time.

Professor Whyte and her TAs are amazing. Professor Whyte is very thorough with her explanations and the office hours and help desk are extremely helpful. The class is tough so if youre not the best in math prepare to work hard. I STRONGLY suggest getting the Notetaking Guide, it is very helpful.

The people who failed this class probably didnt put in any work whatsoever. This is the easiest business course in the college of business. Professor whyte gives you EXACTLY what you need to know for exams, and if you actually read the book and practice the practice problems, you can end the course with an A. Its easily manageable.

Professor Whyte is absolutely amazing. I had to retake this class because I just couldnt learn from Byrds teaching style. 4 exams, 4 quizzes(unlimited attempts), 5 class meetings. Exams can be difficult but her videos are so helpful. Her videos can help you solve every problem she throws at you. Ended up with an A. Whyte is way better than Byrd!

Professor Whyte is fantastic. She actually cares about student success! Get ready to study. Her videos are great for preparing for the tests. This professor is super great at explaining the concepts of finance, as well as super clear and concise with her emails and response. The tests are easier than the concepts explained in the lecture and worth a nice portion of the class so doing the practice quizzes and studying in depth for them is strongly advised. Dr. Whyte was excellent, definitely recommend her to anybody. Her lectures are super helpful, she walks you through practice problems (as opposed to homework), quizzes are gimme 100%, and while the tests are kinda difficult, if you use all of your resources, you will do fine on them. Gave us bonus questions on the last two exams, she's a kind soul.

The best way to describe Dr. Whyte is a caring mother. She is very sweet and helpful and wants students to do well. Her lectures are very helpful and she provides plenty of study materials to do well on the exam. She doesn't make you buy an expensive textbook, and she's very approachable if you do have a question. I would definitely recommend her.

My favorite professor at UCF. She is THE only professor that actually made sure we had recorded lectures with tons of examples since UCF changed to RA classes. I wish I could take all my finance classes with her.

One of my favorite professors at UCF. She provides detailed videos with lots of opportunities for practice problems. No need to buy a book or the note taking guide. There are 4 tests, 4 Quizzes (unlimited attempts) and 5 in class meetings. She tells you exactly what will be covered on exams & cumulative final.

Definitely recommend taking Whyte for Finance. Took the course over the summer and although it moves at a very fast rate, the work is still manageable. She makes it easy to use the financial calculator for the exams and the TAs are helpful. The in-class assignments aren't too difficult as long as you have a good group.

Very easy class, the people who say it's difficult honestly shouldn't be in COBA. The concepts covered are all very easy and things that every business professional should know no matter what your major is. I didn't get the book, but her videos will walk you through everything. Watch the videos and it will be an easy A

Take advantage of all of the resources she offers- watched and re-watch the lecture videos, complete the practice problems multiple times, complete the quizzes multiple times, and reached out to the TA's for help with anything. EDIT: The time limit on the remote final was crazy. I had to skip questions due to time constraints- it was awful.

No HW, only quizzes, group quiz, & exams. Definitely watch her videos 2 or 3X, take good notes, practice as much as you can. Attempt quizzes multiple times for more practice. Book reading helps solidify information, but most of what you need is in the videos. It's hard, it's a lot, but possible to get an A if you work hard and truly try!

The class was fantastic before COVID-19. Study the quizzes/homework and you'd do good on the tests. But for the final, since it was online, she made it much harder than usual. The average on it was a D but she did curve final grades 2%. Not a bad professor by any means. It just sucks that this virus screwed everything up.

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE GEM TEACHERS. I'VE NEVER HAD FINANCE EXPLAINED SOO EASILY. THIS PROFESSOR INSPIRED ME TO SET UP MY FUTURE (began investing in stocks, IRA's, etc). One of those professors that impacts your life if you take the course seriously. She goes over exam material very thoroughly and it's easy to follow. Can't say enough good things.

Retook this class and got an A with professor Whyte. She is very slow in her videos and explains everything multiple times so it sticks in your head. Just do the 20 question quizzes until you get 100%, then study video and practice problems for the test and you should be golden. Taking her for FIN 3141 over the summer.

Do not go into this class thinking you don't have to study. Exams are very difficult and time restrained. Make sure to study over and over for the problems she gives for the homework. The HW is very easy and she gives extra credit. Overall Professor Whyte is super caring and nice and does a great job explaining the world of corporate finance.

This class's grading scale is based on 3 or 4 exams and about 6 quizzes. There is no homework so your grade is basically only based on exams. They are pretty easy and are only 20 - 25 questions. She gives you unlimited attempts and unlimited time on the quizzes so you're guaranteed those points if you take them until you get 100. Good explanations

She is very straightforward about the material, explains slowly, and is very repetitive which I liked because it helps retain the information. The tests are weighted heavily. First test was cake! so I recommend doing your best on that one.. the rest were not that difficult. Just keep practicing the problems from the quizzes and practice test qs.

I'll be the first to say that if you want an A in this class, you really have to work for it. She wont budge on her rules and, short of being in the ER, she wont accommodate you as far as exams. That being said, however, I got more out of this class than any of my other CBA prerequisites. If you're willing to work hard for the grade, you'll be fine

I took her class over summer B. The best solution to passing this class is to watch her lecture videos and follow along in the note taking guide, do and REDO the traditional quizzes, and find a really good study group. For the conceptual questions, make sure you understand why instead of trying to memorize.

This class wasnt too bad. I read the reviews and really psyched myself out but Ive done pretty well in the course so far (maybe Im just good at math idk) but the only thing Ill say is the grades are only based off of attendance and quizzes/tests which kinda sucks but if you do the practice quiz and understand, youll do fine on the test

I don't know why Dr. Whyte gets such a bad rap! She's awesome! Her lecture videos are in depth and I've barely touched the textbook all semester and still winded up with a 24/25 for the first two exams and a 22/25 for the third. Watch the lectures, take good notes, take the traditional quiz multiple times till you get 100%, and you should be good!

There's a LOT of math but this class is actually easy long as you can grasp the concepts. There are 4 exams with only 25 questions in each and are weighted heavily. 4 corresponding quizzes and 5 ALL session quizzes which attendance is req. Lecture videos are clear with many examples as well as problem sets. Dr. Whyte is nice and funny in real life.

Finance is a hard class, but professor whyte explains concepts in a clear and methodical way in her videos to make sure you understand. I recommend buying the note taking guide as this class doesn't have a lot of homework to keep you on track. She cares about students and wants them to pass. Good choice overall.

Dr. Whyte explains concepts very well in her videos. She curved one exam by 10% and gave us pointers on what to study in our final. The only downside to this class is the lack of homework/structure, so you need to be disciplined to stay on track. Great professor and very nice though.

Class was definitely hard and test heavy so if you study, watch her videos, do the practice exam problems. You will be fine. Don't let these reviews intimidate you, you're in college. Toughen up

I learned a lot from Prof. Whyte, some lectures are long but if you set time aside for them and take notes you will do great. I recommend to go to the REAL labs for grade participation and it may also help studying with classmates to understand some topics. Rewatch lectures if needed and definitely practice the questions and quizzes she provides.

Attendance is not mandatory but she goes over hw questions that help on the exam. Do not be afraid to ask questions. You will need the textbook for the homework questions and make sure you take notes before class.

Her class so far has been great. She is very sweet and accomodating towards students. Just dont be lazy, get the extra notebookr, and review the problems in the videos. I have Aced every test by doing this. Talk to the TAs if you need more help. An A is doable for anyone in this course if you put in an hour or two a week

YOU MUST STUDY!!! No way you will pass without studying. Her videos are really helpful and the practice quizzes are exactly like the exam questions. Go to the tutoring lab if you need it but do not fall behind. First time i took this with Dr.Byrd and failed because I crammed before exams. This time I earned an A with giving myself time to study.

No studying, no passing. Simple as that. Dr. Whyte is as good as a professor can be for a REAL style class. She is very respectful and offers resources to help students succeed. You are graded only by ~13 things, so there is no room for error or slacking off. Concepts are difficult, but doable if you passed Financial and Managerial Accounting.

Overall, Professor White is pretty solid. Her videos by chapter are clear and she explains concepts very well. She also goes through plenty of practice problems for each chapter and provides you with more than enough practice for each exam. Make sure to do good on exams 1 and 2 as exam 3 is definitely the hardest and requires the most dedication.

Not sure why the recent comments are bad. Majority of your grades come from the exams, and she does not give a lot of homework. I found the exams pretty easy after maybe 2 days of prep for each. Each exam is accompanied by a homework. If you do the homework before the exam, you'll see the exam is almost identical, just different numbers. Easy A

Not a lot of work for this class. 4 HW for the entire semester and the HW is exactly like her exams. A well needed balance for some of the other classes that had a million assignments every week. Exams make up most of your grade, but the study guide questions help a lot. Can't fail unless you don't care lol.

Love Dr Whyte! She doesn't give a lot of work but her weekly study outlines are great. She uses old videos but the math is the same regardless. Exams make up the most of your grade but if you do the homework and the study guide then you'll be fine. Don't buy the silly note taking guide though, IMO not worth it.

Took it for summer. It moved fast but was manageable. I just watched all the videos the day before the exam, took the quiz, and was fine. Bought the textbook and it was nice to have but not necessary. I thought tests were similar to the quizzes, just easier. Dont know why people dont like her. Class was straightforward and she seemed nice.

I retook this class with Professor Whyte in the summer after having taken Byrd the fall before and I was worried finance, a part-time job and the time restrictions of summer would work out badly. But, Professor Whyte was an amazing professor and truly cared about her students! The lectures were great and she made finance fun! Her videos are great!

If you are good with numbers and have an interest in finance, this class shouldn't be so bad. If you are someone who is not as good with numbers/finance, you're going to have to put in a little more work. If you start ahead on lectures and quizzes, go to tutoring hours, and understand the material, you should get a B minimum.

This professor is not as hard as people make her out to be. Stay on top of your work and you will be fine. This class is self taught and some of the quiz questions don't relate to the lectures. For each exam you are given a tip sheet that directly outlines her exams, including the cumulative final. Do her study guides and review quizzes to pass!

This class isn't hard but don't wait till the last minute to study. If you watch her videos, take notes, review her quizzes and practice exams, this class is doable. I would make quizlets to help study the concept questions. Help Desk is great when not understanding the material, but gets super crowded exam week.

Before taking this class I was concerned since many people have found it very difficult. Although there was a lot of information we needed to learn, Professor Whyte did such a good job explaining every single detail that we needed to know for our exams. Her videos are very informative and helpful, and she is always very caring for her students.

This professor is truly so helpful and a great teacher. The only reason this class will be difficult is because of the content of the course...NOT the professor. Majority of the class is graded by quizzes and exams. The best way to prepare for these is with her videos, don't read the textbook...again, rely on her videos and the practice quizzes!!

She cares about the course, her lectures + weekly exercises are very helpful. I don't think finance is an easy subject but she made complicated concepts easy to understand, also her pre-exam tip sheet are really useful and never let me down.

This class gets a lot of hate, people underestimate the time commitment this class needs. The prof. surprisingly cares about the students but it's a hard class. You likely won't get any extra credit/roundups. You can make up 1 attendance. My advice would be to commit time to the quizzes & study guide she posts before exams, it'll get you to a B.

Great professor. The lecture videos are very in depth and give you all the information you need to succeed on quizzes and exams. This class requires practice and a genuine understanding of the content, attempting to memorize without conceptualizing will not get you very far. Do all practice problems and read textbook to prepare for the exams.

Dr. Whyte is a great professor. She tries really hard to be thorough about the information she's giving. As good as she is, this is NOT an easy class. You have to study HARD. I aced the first test, did ok on the second, and bombed the third. The content gets harder but she tries her best. I'm not good at math so it's not her fault. I liked her.

Everything in her class is pretty much straightforward, I had her during the Spring semester. I was scared from reading all of the reviews about her, but all I have to tell you is that as long as you listen to her lectures, do all of her homework( doesn't count as grade) and her practice exams, you'll do fine. STUDY YOUR BEST FOR THE FIRST 2 TESTS.

Dr. Whyte has the best layout for a REAL class with everything organized for you. She's very kind and wants her students to excel. One of my favorite professor's I've ever had. The class material is tough at first, but it is definitely doable. WATCH THE VIDEOS, and take the quizzes and practice tests until you get 100%. Devote time to the class.

Very straightforward class. If you study and work hard, your grade will reflect that. Don't wait until the last minute to study. Idk what everyone is talking about this class was a free A. My quizzes were just like the exams. All you have to do is practice the content and apply it rather than memorizing everything.

I didn't think this course was that bad compared to what a lot of people are saying. There were some occasions where a question or two on the quizzes couldn't be found in the lecture videos but otherwise I thought she explained concepts very well. Overall, she is a good professor despite the other ratings.

This was my second time taking this class as I failed it the first time with Whyte. You HAVE to study, it's not an option, and DO NOT cram. These are all things I learned from my first attempt. BUY THE NOTE TAKING GUIDE! If I can go from a F to a C+ (79%), you can pass it too, you need to apply yourself outside of class and WATCH HER VIDEOS!!!

Dr. Whyte sets the class up so you have all the information you need. What you see on review quizzes is what you will see on the exams, there are no tricks. She provides tip sheets with an outline for the exams. She is a great professor who cares about her students and wants them to succeed. You get what you give in this class! Easy A!

As long as you watch the lectures videos you will do fine in this class. Any of the reviews saying it's ridiculously hard are probably just lazy because half of the people complaining about it don't even watch the videos. The problem videos are literally what you need to know for the exams. Lecture videos go over all concepts. Just take notes.

I know a lot of people hate this class and blame that on Professor Whyte but I feel like they just didn't put in the required amount of time. I was able to get an A on every test without using outside materials because everything that I needed to know she provided. I recommend just putting in the required effort from the beginning.

She's very nice and helps if you ask. Her lecture videos are very long but helpful. This class is not easy so you need to keep up with the material and study for exams, as there's 4 of them. She drops the lowest hw score and offers an easy makeup for 1 group assignment to replace the lowest score.

Dr. Whyte is a great finance professor, I am a finance major so her class might have been easier for me than others, but I watched her videos 3 days before the exams and got great scores (no less than 84%). Finished her class with 0.6% away from an A by only watching her videos and practicing her exam reviews. Her exams are 75% of the grade though.

Dr. Whyte is definitely up there for the best REAL format professor, as her lecture videos cover every nuance you could possibly encounter on the exams, which are also very similar to the quizzes. The textbook wasn't even necessary. Only have to attend 4 ALL sessions as there is a makeup. Her class made me consider a minor in finance!

Whyte provides lecture videos that provide clear direction on how to solve the problems you will see. Of all the REAL professors, her lectures are the most to the point and relevant to your work. Absolutely loved her and would take in a heartbeat.

Finance is not my thing at all & I still managed to pull off a B (87%). Understand how to use the calculator & take good notes on her videos. It can feel like a lot of content to write & practice, but Dr. Whyte does provide you with all the tools to succeed on her exams. Do the exam practices & review quizzes! Didn't need the textbook past Exam 1.

The class is not hard unless you do not watch her lectures. Watch the lectures in order and write good notes and you will pass with a B, minimum. She gives unlimited takes on the practice exams and quizzes, do those until you do not get a question wrong and you are guaranteed to do good on the exams and pass the class.

Maybe this professor changed her class structure because it was not nearly as bad as other reviews claimed. It is not an easy class, but watch the videos and study for the tests by using the resources she provides. The ALL sessions are straight forward and she will provide guidance. And her videos are long but they cover everything you need.

If you're a student whom barely studies and or does things at the last minute, you'll dislike this class. On the other hand, if you're a student who takes notes, works ahead, and practice the examples provided, this will be your easiest class of the semester. This professor is truly the most organized professor at UCF. Of all the business classes I have taken, I enjoy this one the most. Her lectures are clear and she puts effort into them. Her exams are like the quizzes and all the material she gives us. I love this professor!! I definitely would retake her for any future course.

She is a great professor. The people who say she is bad are the ones who want an easy life and do not want to work hard in class. As long as you put in the effort and carefully watch her lecture videos, you should be good. She goes the extra mile to help her students as well.

I enjoyed taking finance with Professor Whyte, I found her to be very caring and her lecture videos were very helpful. The labs were fine, average worksheet questions. The third and fourth exams were tough but manageable. I don't recommend buying the textbook, I did but never used it.

I took this class twice, failing it the first time and getting an A (and acing the tests) the second time. The material is a lot but if you take the time and absorb it instead of memorizing you won't have a problem. Professor Whyte gives good lectures. As long as you watch the videos she posts you will pass the class. The material is somewhat difficult but she explains it in an easy to digest way and explains why some rules are the way they are and helps you understand them. This class is not as bad. Take a deep breath. Make sure to watch all of the videos, take extensive notes, and practice the review exams, quizzes, and practice problems. Her lectures are lengthy and boring, but if you are able to lock in 2-3 days before the test, then you will be fine. Otherwise plan ahead. Tests are def hard, but an A is possible!

This class is a difficult class by nature. You NEED to put in the work in order to pass the class. She puts out many videos, practice problems, and practice quizzes to help you learn and understand the material. You simply can not fall behind, or this class will be extremely difficult.

This class isn't exactly a walk in the park. However, if you come into this class expecting the worse, you'll make out okay. Majority of your grade is based on four exams. Doing well on the first one (the easiest) puts you into a good position for the rest of the course. Studied for about 2~ days on average for each exam and made out with an A.

Do good on the first two exams and make sure to study a week in advanced for the exam. I did pass this class because all I needed was a D to pass. She is super fast at responding to emails in canvas less than 24 hours. Find a group of people to study together it does help. WATCH HER VIDEOS. She is super nice and does care.

At first I disliked her because I bombed an exam and thought she was strict but midway through the semester I realized she isn't that bad and her videos are informative. Made me consider a minor in finance. Be sure to ace the first/second exams and you'll do great. I bombed an exam and ended with a B+

I genuinely don't understand the struggle with this class. Just watch the videos do the quizzes and do the practice exams and you can get an A easily. The class format is a little annoying but that is out of the professor's control. Only studied for a few days before each exam.

I was first really scared to take this professor for business finance as I've heard many horror stories about people having to retake the class. This class was not hard at all! It's graded primarily on the 4 tests you take, but I didn't think those tests were too bad. Just watch the lectures and practice and you'll do great!

Skip the videos, do the PP, review quizzes, and hw quizzes instead. Props for giving an AMAZING tip sheet for the final. Dropped lowest exam for final grade. Relatively difficult content, but that can't really be helped.

Content is difficult, this was great experience to learn that and confirm Accounting is where I belong. Due to a hurricane, she replaced our lowest exam with counting the final twice, which helped a LOT. Unlike other REAL classes, your answers don't have to be right for you to leave, so my group got 9/10 on a few. Lectures are helpful, just long.

Professor's videos are very helpful and easy to follow along. Material can be a bit tough at times but if you do examples and stay on top of the work, class is easy/do-able. Professor is very helpful and the exams are fair and similar to questions from activities and videos. Would recommend this professor for business finance!

She is good at explaining difficult concepts in a way that I could easily understand. I would absolutely recommend taking any of her classes, and if I have the chance to take another class with her, I definitely will.

I will say although her class is difficult, her lectures are straight forward and ENGAGING. The people hating on this class are students that didn't apply themselves and want an easy A. She won't hold your hand, but if you truly pay attention to her lectures and develop confidence with the practice exams and homework, an A is achievable.

Watch the videos, study, do practice exams, take tests. Finance is not a simple subject; so you actually have to try and apply yourself in this class. Most people who talk down on the class didn't even try. You don't even need to read a textbook, all of the information you need is in her videos.

Many people will say this class is hard, but if you watch the videos and do the practice problems you will be fine. That being said, you NEED to practice if you want to do successful on the exams. STAY ON TOP OF THIS CLASS! While the content is difficult at times, Whyte provides plenty of resources on Webcourses in addition to the Help Desk to aid you in the class. As long as you repeatedly practice the content, you will do well on exams. Also, retake the quizzes until you get 100% on them, they are a strong grade padder.

Dr. Whyte's videos could get to be longer than necessary but she did work through numerous sample problems. the course is exam heavy. The main problem I had is that the quizzes and practice exams weren't representative of the exams.

The exams are fairly easy if you watch all of the lectures (including problem sets) and take notes of everything. Remember the concepts and know how to use the financial calculator for different kinds of questions. I loved how detailed her lectures were, they covered everything on the exams. This class took up most of my time this semester though

If you watch all the videos she provides and understand using the calculator, you'll pass this class with flying colors. She GIVES you a formula sheet for each exam & gives you practice exams with questions that she actually tests on. Overall this professor gives you all the tools to pass

Overall, Dr. Whyte is a great professor with great resources. She recommends a guided notebook sold at the bookstore but I did not purchase it and passed just fine. Difficult class but I would recommend to be prepared to study and take this class seriously. She made me realize my passion for finance!!

Good teacher who gives you exactly what you need to succeed on the exams. This is a class you NEED to study for.

I DONT GET THE HATE. What matters the most is that you watch EVERY SINGLE ONE of the chapter videos, that right there is the whole class AND TAKE NOTES. Exam 1,2,4 are cake, Exam 3...hard. When studying for exams do the review quiz AND practice exam questions. If still unsure on concept questions then do the "terms and concepts to know" sheet.

The professor: great, the class: hard. The actual material makes it the hardest core class but Dr. Whyte is a good professor; she was really helpful when I got sick and let me makeup homework. If you watch the videos, do the practice problems, and the practice test, you can get an A/B. Use her office hours to review and do not fall behind!!!

Professor Whyte was amazing! I highly recommend taking her class and make sure to use the office hours because it helps to understand the material better for the class. She was a great professor to have!

She was a really good professor and watching her notes and taking the quizzes are beneficial to passing this class. Everyone complaining is just lazy.... like welcome to college. If you put in the work, practice the material and buy the note guide, you will be fine. This class takes up a lot of time, so start studying early if you can.

Good professor, tough class. It's most likely an online class where u have to teach yourself, either practicing problems or watching her videos. Summer B exams 3 and 4 have a 3-day gap, which I thought was kinda absurd. Other than that, she is ok, just practice tons of problems and u probably get an A or B.

Do not listen to the people underneath lmao. Class is easy if you put the work in.

She's a really nice and great person. Her practice guides are extremely similar to her tests. If you need help, please ask her. Her class is not hard if you go to class and do her guides. She will help you if she sees you putting in the work.

This class (and the exams) are fairly easy if you actually practice. Watching the videos and doing the practice quizzes at the last minute will NOT help you. And actually doing the practice quizzes without assistance is the best way to prepare. This course is set up reasonably if you actually put in time & effort.

Very good class, learned tons. Got an A on my last test, she cared a lot about the students, I thought it was a little weird when she started wearing flippers to class.

FINALLYYYY ucf had a good professor since Reinking... her videos are long but cover all the necessary content. Exams are tough, but finance is a tough course that takes practice. If you try, you'll see results. Includes many practice tests that are often similar to the exam in terms of wording.

I feel like people over exagerate how difficult this class is. It a very math heavy course. Her videos are very helpful so be sure to watch and understand all of them. Additonally her pratice tests will give you an idea of what to expect on the tests. Be ready for the tests and dont study last minute though as they are a very large % of your grade.

Very knowledgeable about finance and good at explaining in the lesson videos. You have unlimited attempts on the quizzes however the class is very test heavy. Just use her study tools before the exam and you should be good.

If you just watch the videos and stay proactive she gives you all of the information you need. Her lectures are informative and will carry you through the class.

The class was not that bad, she clearly explains how to solve everything on her lecture videos. If you get 10 in all the quizzes(Easy to do ) and you get 10 or even 8 in all the ALL session even if you do bad on the exam you will still pass this class with a C.

Professor Whyte cares about her students and her lecture videos are some of the best at the College of Business. I found the material to be challenging since it was all new to me but the exams aren't actually that bad. I could have gotten a B if I devoted more time to this class. It's very easy to get a C, but aim higher!

I'm someone who has to try in order to get a good grade. This class was tough but with practice on the practice exams and repetition of problems you'll do fine. Watch every video on 1.5x speed read her tip sheets, especially for the final as she gives a complete breakdown of each test. Overall a good and helpful professor given the real format.

This is the best REAL class teacher I've had. The math in this class is very simple, and the lecture videos this teacher provides are really helpful, and they walk you through how to solve the problems on the quizzes and tests. This class is a bit difficult because you need an 83% to pass, but its not bad. The material is pretty interesting.

I really enjoyed the way that she lectured; it really helped me understand the content. I honestly wish I had studied for the first exam. My biggest advice is to make sure you get a good grade on the first two exams. The exams are all totally doable, just make sure you go through all of her resources. Great professor.
