this is the worst proff ever. she's really hard and she doesn't help you with anything. she makes her students feel stupid and she thinks shes so smart but she's not!!! avoid her at all costs!!

DO NOT TAKE HER. she is cold as ice and will make you want to switch out of the major within the first class.

Her classes are super easy, but you should not take her. She is extremely rude to her students. She puts herself on a pedastole and thinks she is the smartest professor at sru, however she is extremely unintelligent. She is condescending to her students and gets pleasure by demeaning you in front of the whole class. Definitely take another prof.

I was a student in the '90s. I see from the ratings here that Dr. Romanczyk hasn't changed much! She was rude and talked down to her students. I was a good student and received good grades, but that was despite her teaching methodability. I did not enjoy her classes and was left confused after asking her to clarify points.

I have never met such an unpleasant person in my entire life. She is very condescending and gets cranky when you do not respond to her rhetorical questions. She doesnt answer your question, instead goes on a confusing 20 minute tangent. She tries to make you feel stupid and gives incorrect info. Pro tip: sit in back and play computer solitaire

Never in my academic career have I encountered a professor with such unclear expectations and instruction. I'm a good student, I usually breeze through classes. Understanding what she expected us to turn in was more difficult than the assignments themselves. Will ignore your emails. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

SocPs, idk where to begin with this one. She never replies to emails, never showed up to her own zoom meetings, took weeks to cover one chapter of the syllabus so we didnt get to everything on it, did not explicitly explain WHAT she wants us to do and WHEN it was due, so everyone was confused. She never answered chats on zoom. Unclear directions

Her class was very hard to take online. She was not clear on directions and never assigned due dates until the end of the semester. D2L was a complete mess and it was hard to navigate the assignments. She would add new ones without letting you know then decide she wasnt going to count them once you completed them.

Absolutely the worst professor Slippery Rock University has to offer. Gives two people different grades even though same assignment was turned in. She cancelled classes, takes 15 years to email you back, and she is so rude when answering questions. I would rather do anything else EVER take another class with this monster of a women again.

The worst professor at SRU. Never answers emails, doesnt grade things until the last day of class, D2L is an absolute mess, her assignments make no sense, and no work is ever good enough for her. I wrote an example down that she told us to write, and she marked it wrong - when she is the one who gave the example. Avoid her at all costs. Terrible.

She is all over the place and does not explain directions very clearly. She never grades things on time either.

Her classes are so hard to take. She is very rude when answering questions and does not give clear explanations for anything. If you do an assignment exactly as she tells you to, youll still get a bad grade on it. Dont try to email her about anything, most likely wont answer you.

Dr. Romancyk's lectures barely match up with the book sections. She only gives a couple of assignments and chapter quizzes. The quizzes are timed and leaves less than a minute to each question, even though some questions are written as paragraphs. She gives no due dates and barely instructs you on each assignment. Don't take her classes.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. The worst professor I have had. It seems others on here also feel the same way. If you see her name teaching any class, don't do it, take another class! You've been warned

Dr. Romanczyk never answers emails containing questions about class work, or any emails for that matter. She hardly ever grades things, and when she does, the rubric and expectations are unclear and hard to follow.

for the love of GOD, DO NOT TAKE ANY CLASSES WITH DR. ROMANCZYK!!!! She does not tell you she is giving out assignments yet instead just puts them on d2l without a word. She expects paper replies to our assignments that are only 10 points. Half the stuff she talks about is nothing related to the book. save yourself the stress and boredom

She gets mad when students don't answer obscure questions we couldn't possibly know. Kicked students out of class for not knowing things. Direct quote from her: "did you have your hand up for some strange reason?" Every class is a lecture, then you're quizzed on things only from readings. Lessons are disorganized. Harsh grader. Don't take her.

I emailed her every day asking how to access the textbook and she refused to answer. You have to read a chapter, write two essays, and take a quiz nearly every day (Summer). Her quizzes have the most arbitrary and pointless questions that you would never think to study. She's useless and rude. I'm dropping her class just to escape. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She assigns way more work than is necessary and grades it pretty hard. She wants you to write paragraphs about what you learned when you didnt really learn anything. Her quizzes are really hard and contain things that arent in the notes. I would try to avoid taking her classes.

The assignments never have clear instructions but she is still sure to give harsh feedback. Does not responde to emails (and when she does she is abrasive). Avoid if you can.

The professor crammed a 15-week semester into 4 weeks with 11 exams and 1-2 essays each chapter. She left unclear, patronizing grades and feedback. She never answered my school-related questions or emails. I felt like I was drowning from stress constantly in this course. This was a painful experience that I hope never occurs to anyone else.

god awful. will never take her again. she is so demeaning and rude to students and constantly talks down to them. let me leave you with a quote "you all look pathetically dead, wake up." DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. And ngl I do my work and participate, but she is just an awful person.

Very disrespectful towards students, assigns homework with no instructions (which makes them hard), and doesn't check emails. Her feedback consists of degrading comments, and vague remarks. AVOID

She Does NOT answer emails, Does NOT give clear instructions. She will rip into your answers and make you feel like an ass in front of EVERYONE. Expect to receive randomly places 70% on assignments. Me and another student worked on an assignment, yet I got a 70% and they got a 100%. She will NEVER post the assignments on D2L w/ no instructions.

Students had a week to write the hardest, most important paper. An entire class went to the head of the psych department because they felt they had not learned anything and were incredibly scared to ask her questions. There is very little feedback regarding what is wrong - she crosses out entire paragraphs and marks them "incorrect". part 2 - 2

She never explained anything, and when she did, it did not make sense. If you miss, she will get agitated and make you look like a fool for asking. The worse thing was that she had kicked the class out several times for not talking when she was lecturing. It was very frustrating, and I recommend not taking her unless necessary.

She is very angry and rude and has 0 tolerance for not understanding. If a student raises their hand and asks a question, she makes them feel and sounds stupid. If they state something, she still finds a way to shut them down. It feels like she doesn't even want you to speak in class because she just makes it embarrassing for you. Not nice.

By far the worst professor I've had between two different universities. Not only does she refuse to answer emails, but if you have Covid, and miss classes due to illness (with a medical excuse!!) she will still mark you as absent, not allow you to make up your work, and will report you to student services for not attending classes. STAY AWAY!

She is very harsh when speaking in class and makes mean comments to the class on a regular basis. Do not recommend it. If you have an option, take ANY other professor's class.

I've been in her class for 7 weeks, and I'm starting to regret not dropping it... She has a really disrespectful demeanor towards students, and makes people feel uncomfortable to ask questions. She asks questions nobody knows, and then expects the whole class to respond. The material is interesting, however her attitude ruins it. Avoid if possible

Dr. Romanczyk will not give you due dates for anything, and then get mad when you don't turn in your work. When you do the work, however, there are no open dropboxes to submit it. Warned our class that midterm grades were due and we were almost all given Ds because she was "too lazy to fill out the two-page F papers" needed to fail students. Bad.

Awful. I will never take another class with Romanczyk. She kicked my class out after she asked a rhetorical question and proceeded to use harsh words towards our overall class intellegence. STAY AWAY. I ended up earning an A by going to every class and completing the work she assigns (with no due date) corresponding to that week's chapter.

Avoid at all costs. Never answered her email, constantly degraded students anytime they would participate in class, and only didn't grade anything until the very last minute. Once she got mad at my class because we weren't participating enough while looking at GRAPHIC crime scene images and kicked everyone out 20 minutes into class. Save yourself.

I posted a review last year, however it got taken down... Dr. Romanczyk was one of the rudest professors I had taken here at SRU. I've had numerous altercations with her where she accused me of doing things that weren't true, which led to multiple meetings with the dean/head of the department. She failed a whole class for "plagiarizing". Avoid.
