Had Ann for clinical. Very good teacher. Helped a lot. You have to study a lot for the PE EXAM, but she will help you prepare for it if you ask. Has a lot of busy work w/ papers, but they are easy. Overall, A+ teacher.
She was an excellent teacher for clinicals. The PE exam at the end of the quarter is very hard, but she'll get you through it. You just have to study for it and you'll be fine. An awesome teacher, and she cares about her students alot :)
She is a great instructor. She genuinely cares for her students and really wants the best for you. I have nearly 200 credit hours and she is by far my favorite teacher EVER! Beyond A+ instructor!
Sometimes it's hard to tell what she wants us to study. When asked about it, we get even more confused. Hard to read her handwriting when she gives papers back. Overall, the class was easy and she's good about answering questions and handing back papers quickly...just remember, "Where's the love!?"
She was all over the place in her lectures. I appreciate the relaxing techniques before the tests though
Enjoyed the calss
Ann is great! She always provides great feedback on assignments!
Dr. Stalter is a really great person and instructor. I have taken many classes with her and I actually look to see if she is an option for classes when I register.
Dr Stalter is an educator who cares for her students. I had the pleasure of taking her 2 classes already and I am scheduled for a 3rd this summer. She is very easy to talk to and she sincerely wants to help facilitate your learning in every way possible.
Dr. Stalter was my professor twice throughout my journey in the RN-BSN program. She has inspired me in many ways, but mostly to not give up and to keep moving past all the hurdles life throws at you. She understands we have lives too and works with you to help you be successful. I would recommend Dr. Stalter.
Dr. Stalter is a great teacher. She gives clear, prompt feedback and she is very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. She is helpful and makes the material applicable.
Very friendly, response in a timely manner. Excellent instructor to have!
Very helpful when I had questions or worries. Responds in a timely manner to concerns.
Very good professor. Communicates often, grades fairly, gives good feedback in a timely manner.
Professor Stalter takes time to make sure you understand the content. She spoke with me by phone and explained a process to me I just wasn't getting until it clicked.
Ann did an excellent job with communication and clarity with the assignments that were given. She gave excellent feedback where I know she read my response to the assignment. Great teacher.
This class reshaped my ideas of the role of the professional nurse.
Dr. Stalter is always kind, willing to help in any way so that you will succeed and dependable. I have thoroughly enjoyed her course.
Ann was quick to get back to me whenever I had a question.
Ann was very helpful whenever I had a question.
Dr. Stalter is always available, helpful and ready to help the student succeed.
Great Instructor!
This is the second class I have had with Dr. Stalter, she is an excellent instructor. I admire her passion for nursing and have enjoyed being in her classes.
She is very genuine and has a passion for nursing, treats her students with respect, encourages growth and leadership. Very good!
Dr. Stalter is inspiring and really cares that the student grasps the content.
She is very fair, helpful and willing to adjust deadlines to help students with other legit commitments.
Dr Stalter was a huge part of my success this semester-her professionalism and compassion are well balanced.
Ann Stalter is very motivational. This course is a great starting point for those that have been out of school for a length of time. The course is easy to follow and instructions are very clear. Great confidence booster!
Ann is a wonderful instructor, there for you when you need her!
If problems or concerns arise, she is there for you. She really cares about her students. I really enjoyed the class. She is encouraging and give great feedback. I would take another class with her.
Very fair and compassionate. Wants her students to succeed in her class.
Dr. Stalter is very fair and wants everyone to succeed. She is willing to help you reach your goals
This teacher was heavy on the assignments, but I feel that she did not go overboard. She pushed me to be a better writer and to become more organized. I really enjoyed her class.
She a very genuine and caring professor.
She's a great professor. She understands you have a life outside of school.
Excellent instructor. Enjoyed her!
This class wasn't that bad I thought it was going to be but the material was easy to read and not that overwhelming.
Dr. Stalter was very supportive throughout the entire semester. She was good about giving timely feedback and was available even outside of her normal office hours.
It was a pleasure to have Dr. Stalter teach this course. Video lecture were very well done and assignment were appropriately challenging -- not too much, and not overwhelming.
Ann is a knowledgeable and caring professor. This was a fairly easy class, except for the amount of discussion forums and papers due. It is basically a review of overall nursing concepts that were covered in my associate's degree courses.
Ms. Stalter puts a lot of effort into her online class and you can tell she cares about her students. I missed a couple assignments one week due to some things going on at home, and she took the time to e-mail and express her concern for my grade.
I loved the feedback on my papers. I am an auditory learner and the feedback was voice recorded. She went through step by step what was wrong and what was right. Weekly feedback was specific to my blog comments. She was very encouraging when things got tough. She is easy to contact if you have questions.
She provided plenty of feedback and gave great detail on expectations for essays and class discussion boards. She was a fair grader and was quick in returning emails regarding questions. She is definitely a fair professor and focuses on the growth of her students.
she gave examples of her expectations of the writing assignments, which made writing the papers easier. Quick to grade assignments and to respond to questions that are asked via email.
Very unclear as to what she wants in regards to her papers and projects but all around very good teacher
An amazing professor, you will love her
I felt like she wanted us to do well and pass. Grasp the things we need to know once we start working in the field.
Go to class because participation is worth a lot of your grade. Quizzes are online. PrepU questions take a LOT of time. A group project and a group paper. And PRECEPTORSHIP!!!!
I loved having Ann as a professor. The requirements for this course were clearly outlined in the syllabus. Ann is a truly amazing professor who cares about her students.
Fantastic teacher who does a great job communicating throughout the semester!
i really enjoy learnign from ann. she is tough with papers adn apa but it is worth it
I really enjoy her class. Lots of papers to write but it is manageable.
Truly enjoy learning from this professor. She is helpful, gives great feedback, understanding and flexible. This is my second course with her and absolutely adore her!
This is my 2nd class with this teacher. I've had amazing experiences each time. Understands this class isn't your whole life and many of us have work and family responsibilities. Fair with grading. Great with feedback.
She is very accessible and encouraging! The class materials are well organized and interesting. All assignments facilitate learning the material. I would definitely take another class offered by this professor!
This is an online writing across the curriculum class. There is only one big paper due at the end of the term, however, there are weekly assignments (case studies), weekly self-reflections, and a weekly journal entry. Dr. Stalter grades fairly per her rubrics and provides great feedback.
Paper grades and feedback was drawn out over a month and we would get weekly updates and a few more points added to our overall score. I would have liked one update and one grade, not a "tease." I also felt the syllabus and our weekly assignments didn't match and there was often different instructions to assignments and we would get docked for this
Dr. Stalter is a caring professor who's goal is to help her students succeed while learning.
Professor Stalter provides a great syllabus that leaves no questions to what is expected. She responds and grades in a timely manner.
Great and caring teacher; will work with you!
Awesome instructor! You will learn a lot!
I have had Professor Stalter for a number of RN to BSN courses. She grades fair and is very understanding if you have things going on outside of school that affect your ability to get stuff turned in on time.
Excellent
Kind and fair.
DR Ann cares very much if you understand the material. She is descriptive in her expectations, so there are no surprises. She is helpful when you run into trouble. I would very much recommend her as a professor.
Ann is an amazing teacher that provides information in a way that is exciting and easy to learn. She presents the subject matter in an interactive way that leads to further understanding. I enjoyed this class so much, I am considering looking into holistic nursing and CAM as my future in nursing.
Dr Stalter cares about her students, both personally and academically. She wants the best for each person and makes sure students have all the resources they need to succeed.
I have had Ann as a professor for several courses for my RN-BSN. She provides assignments in a way that are easy to complete on a weekly basis, and grades them in a timely manner. She also provides invaluable feedback on assignments. Overall, Ann has been a gem of a professor, and I would recommend her to anyone!!!!!!
Dr. Stalter is an amazing instructor. She genuinely cares about her students, and makes the nursing courses applicable in the real world. I was lucky to have her for a few of my RN-BSN classes, and I enjoyed every class she taught.
Very understanding professor. I had major family issues with my parents (health wise) as well as other family members. She worked with me to ensure success in the class as well as allowing me time to deal with family issues. Great feedback on assignments. Accessible outside of class very easily. Responds quickly. I always look for her class.
This is a capstone course that covers 3 semester hours in 8 weeks. Discussion boards and posts are a little heavier than previous courses and the capstone project is time consuming as well. I expected this class to be busy.
Dr. Stalter is a great professor. Lots of great interaction with classmates. Be sure to master the APA format.
Dr. Stalter was informative, fair and easily accessible. I felt like she cared about her students learning. I enjoyed her class and learned a lot.
Professor Stalter is very fair and cares about the success of her students. Enjoyed taking her class online.
Great instructor. Very knowledgeable, approachable, and caring. She is upfront and clear on expectations and grading policy and follows syllabus. I would take a class from this professor again.
This instructor was available more than any other I have ever had! VERY GOOD FEEDBACK!
Ive taken a few of her courses, and she is an easy professor as long as you follow qualifications and rubrics.
I love Ann! She is by far the best teacher I have had in through out this program! She is very understanding and kind. Great teacher, very knowledgeable, lots of experience at what she does and it shows!
Dr. Stalter makes sure to let her students know that she is accessible and wants her students to do well. She is very approachable and I would take her again.
Great Class/ Great Instructer!!
Learned a lot
great teacher.
I have had this professor for 3 classes and thought she was very fair and really helped when I had an issue with an assignment.
Very responsive to messages and questions. Very understanding and great with communication.
Dr. Stalter is the most amazing professor I have ever had. I had her for several of my BSN classes at Wright State and she was always available for questions or explanation if needed. She is a great resource for students and I cannot say enough about how great she is!
Very engaged with her classes, very accessible for questions, helps guide her students towards independent thinking and growing confidence in their abilities.
Gives good feedback, need to stay engaged in ongoing discussions over several days to obtain all points possible for discussion posts.
Dr. Stalter is a great teacher who expects students to adhere to her syllabus and grading rubrics. She provides good ancillary readings and her video lectures are informative and entertaining. Hard work with much writing for this particular class, but there should be no surprises as her expectations are clearly outlined in the course schedule.
Good prof
Ann is great! She is very caring and understanding! If you are having trouble she will find a way for you to succeed! Ann gives great feedback as well! I love her and I think she is amazing! I hope I have her again!
I felt she was a very good professor, I really enjoyed having her!
Fair professor. Paper busy work.
Dr. Stalter is very knowledgeable, fair and clear about expectations. I would give her an A+. We are blessed to have her at Wright State
i could not have asked for a better professor.
Dr. Stalter is quick to respond to any questions you may have and offer advise on how to solve your problem.
One on the best professors I have worked with. She is respectful and sensitive to any student's needs. Always available outside of class.
I have had Dr. Stalter twice now and she's a great professor. She is fair, clear about her expectations, and very responsive when you have problems. It is clear she cares a great deal about each student and gives specific, thoughtful feedback.
Truly cares about her students.
I enjoyed the course.
Great professor, she is willing to help you however she can achieve your goals! Very kind person.
Great professor who really cares about her students. She makes herself very available outside of class hours and goes above and beyond. This is the second course I have taken with her and wish I could have had her more throughout my nursing education.
This professor is positive and motivates you. She is fair and explains everything.
gives good feedback
Love this professor! She is readily available to answer questions and cheers you on! She wants you to succeed!
Dr Ann is very caring. She is always accessible and responds back to you quickly. Double check your APA, it is important. I agree with her that it is important, because nurses should have attention to detail. I have learned so much in her classes. She has made me a better nurse.
Dr. Stalter was a very fair professor. I am not the best at writing papers, but she gives amazing feedback for you to improve. She is very understanding and flexible as long as you communicate with her. Very clear expectations given to students through the syllabus and rubric. As long as you follow those and show improvement, she is great!
Dr. Stalter truly cares about preparing nurses to do better in the future. She is always willing to help and trys to make classes fun and interactive.
Great instructor!! I would take another class with her.
Will recommend her for any student.
Grades quickly and gives good feedback.
Dr. Stalter is by far the best professor I have had. She truly cares about her students and gives excellent and fast feedback. She keeps you up to date and is incredibly encouraging. WSU is incredibly lucky to have her.
The instructor is great about giving points back on quizzes when the majority of class missed the question. She is really understanding and is a great professor.
Dr. Stalter was very caring when it came to ensuring the transition between student nurse and nurse as a profession was as smooth as possible. She gave so much insight on how to be successful within her class and in the outside world.
She is awesome.
Dr. Stalter cares about her students and wants to help them succeed, not only by getting an "A" in the class, but by learning and cultivating critical thinking skills. She is genuine, listens to concerns, and welcomes feedback. A gem to Wright State's nursing program!
This professor always keeps you in the loop!
Wonderful instructor, genuinely cared of the students, was always available via phone and email when you had questions. Very detailed, explains what is expected at the beginning of the semester and has detailed explanations of what is expected throughout the weekly contect. Follow what is expected and receive the grade you deserve!
Dr. Stalter is a great professor. She listens to her students and modifies assignments based on needs of the class. She is quick to respond and always gives updates, especially if something is delayed. She is such a sweetheart and really cares about her students. She's definitely a listening ear if you need someone to talk things out with.
Dr. Stalter is one of the best professors I have had at Wright State. I loved her!
She is great and easy to work with.
I had Ann for NUR 4460 and she did a great job witht he course content. I thought the expectations were communicated very clearly so there was no doubt as to what was expected from us and when it was expected. She's also very friendly and easy to talk to so you shouldn't be afraid to seek her out when you have questions.
Amazing professor. Always available and always pleasant and cheery. This is the last class to complete for BSN and Dr. Stalter brought meaning to what we had endured to get here. She is the perfect person to teach this type of leadership class. Very thankful to have had her for this class.
She is by far the best professor I have ever had. She is patient and understanding and will work with you when you don't understand. She responds within 24hrs and keeps everyone up to date about everything. You will never be in the dark about what is expected of you.
Dr. Stalter was fantastic and really cares for her students! I really enjoyed being in her class. She is funny, extremely kind, and cares about how her students learn.
Dr. Stalter is very professional! She is very caring of her students and her main goal is for you to succeed. She gives great feedback that helps you further your thinking and writing. She is accessible 24/7 and responds quickly if needed. This was my first class back in college in 5 years and I am very thankful I had Dr. Stalter to start it with.
Very helpful to students and clarifies assignments when asked. Had this instructor during an online class and she frequently reached out to students to check status and to be a resource.
Would take any other classes required by program with this professor. Always makes herself available for her students. Wants us to succeed. Great professor!
Professor Stalter always gives great feedback. She also lets the class know if she will be unavailable and when she plans on getting grading done.
Dr. Stalter is an amazing professor. I have taken several of her courses and she is very clear and provides updates on her availability. I hope she gets her promotion as it would be well deserved!
Responds in a timely manner. Wants students to succeed.
Professor Stalter was an outstanding professor. She was readily available when I needed her. She gave great feedback on our discussion posts and reflections each week. I would definitely take another course with her.
Very good, constructive feedback on assignments; reasonable time for posting grades; encouraging
In her discussions, do not just respond to others without any citations or thoughtful input.
Always available to answer any questions and gave great feedback!
Great professor! Provides wonderful feedback.
The professor was very professional and informative. She substituted her teaching with reading material, videos, and lectures. This was great to hit all learning types. The material was easily understood and the workload was not too heavy so I could keep up with class while working my full-time job and raising my children.
Professor Stalter is fair, and walks you through what she expects. Make sure you read the course syllabus and know what is expected.
Dr. Stalter has been the first instructor I have had where she truly cares about the outcome of her students.
Professor Stalter was fabulous! I really enjoyed her class, and the discussion posts. The course was easy to navigate, with some weeks being heavier than the others. I would def. take her class again and I look forward to having a class with her again!
Dr Stalter integrates a variety of learning materials for your education. she provides feedback on a timely basis. and is easily available for guidance if needed.
always available to offer help
She is a wonderful teacher! She provides constant feedback, and is always willing to answer any questions you may have!
Great professor! She is very clear with what's she is looking for in her assignments and provided examples to help you! If questions are asked, she gets back to you very quickly!
Dr Stalter was amazing, she is truly caring and wants to make sure we succeed. I would definitely take her again if possible.
Dr. Stalter is a truly compassionate teacher who genuinely cares about her students. I have had the pleasure of taking part in her class before and both times have been great! I really enjoyed it!
Dr. Stalter has been the best clinical instructor that I have had in this nursing program. I would suggest to anyone that they seek out one of her clinical sections or courses. She will never disappoint you. She is flexible, understanding, selfless, compassionate. She embodies every good quality that a nurse should have. Hardworking, motivational.
Very patient with students.
very positive teacher, wants you to succeeded. Very nice, easy to get a hold of with any questions. would absolutely recommend her.
Very quick to respond, always positive remarks.
She is a wonderful professor!
she seems very understanding and kind. She was also understanding that I have a full time job and I am a full time mom outside of my classes.
Dr. Statler is by far the best nursing faculty member I have come across in my time a WSU. Great clinical instructor and teacher, who goes above and beyond for students. I would go out of my way to have her as an instructor or professor again. She truly cares about her students and teaches in a way that is easy to comprehend. HIGHLY RECOMEND.
So far out of all the online courses that I have taken this teacher is the most flexible. She understands that I have a full time job and life outside of school work. It is a lot of reading but she gives acheivable assignments. i would definately recommend her to students.
I have taken several classes with her and I love when I have her as my professor. She is amazing and provides great feedback.
Dr. Stalter is a fantastic professor. She is fair, engaging, easy to talk to. She also make the content fun, funny and interesting. 10/10 would recommend!
Dr. Stalter provides wonderful feedback, encouragement, and support for her students. I am taking an online course for my PMHNP degree at Wright State with Dr. Stalter and I have learned so much from her.
I NUR 7005 EBP . Overall I feel this class was the most put together of all my online classes thus far, I enjoyed this class. I was able to work at my own pace and i had a previous vacation scheduled that she worked with me on. She even opened up assignments early for me to turn in! Highly recommend You don't find professors like her every day !!
She is very kind, caring and understanding. If you are late on assignments she still lets you complete it for some of the points.
Dr. Stalter was one of the best instructors yet! She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Her feedback allows for personal growth. She provides concise lectures that are helpful for understanding key concepts.
Dr. Stalter is amazing. She gives great feedback and wants you to succeed. We contracted for our grade and she walked us through how to attain the grade we wanted. You have to work hard to get it though. Be ready to turn in stuff every week. You'll have to watch short videos outside of class. She was usually late posting them but Kahoots were fun!
Dr. Stalter cares about and advocates for her students. She does not micromanage or discriminate. Her mom was in the hospital and she fell behind with posting lectures a few times. She had to overcome technology issues because the university system failed several times this semester. I'd take her again in a heart beat! Get ready to work and learn!!
Professor Stalter is amazing, knowledgeable, and always available to answer any questions or help you through the course in any way she can. I look forward to the courses I will be taking in the future.
Dr. Stalter was a joy to have as a professor this semester. She worked very hard towards her goal of having us learn this semester. There were a couple instances where it was frustrating, but overall I would say this course was easy and Dr. Stalter was amazing. Flexibility required for success in this course.
Had to contract for grades, would have rather just taken tests over material. Many busy work assignments posted every week that were unnecessary such as a participation form to be turned in every week. Lots of group assignments with unnecessary busy work branching off such as reviews and multiple discussions. Nice professor,
Dr. Stalter cares deeply about her students and is extremely knowledgeable in Community Health and Politics. Dr. Stalter is very approachable and takes time to answer and address questions anytime.
Dr. Stalter really cares about her students! Had to contract for a grade which was a little different and required lots of busy work. Overall, I enjoyed learning from her and she gives good feedback. She is very flexible and easy going.
I enjoyed having Dr. Stalter as my community health nursing instructor. Besides being an excellent teacher, putting in the same amount of effort she requests from her students, and being accessible outside of class, Dr. Stalter had our wellbeing in mind. Her grading is fair and timely, and I felt like I was able to meet the class expectations.
Dr. Stalter cares about her students and mental health. Instead of taking exams we contracted for a letter grade outlining assignments to achieve it. As long as you're putting in effort she will give you the points. A couple group projects but they were manageable and you did peer reviews with them to let her know who contributed and who didn't.
Dr. Stalter cares about her students and is willing to help you in any way possible. Her assignments are decently straight forward, and she gives you time to work on them in class. She teaches you in an interesting way about Public Health Nursing. It is very group oriented, be prepared for that. Keep up to date on your contracted assignments.
Ann Stalter is a great professor! The course is easy as long as you follow her instructions.
Dr.Stalter is very receptive to feedback! She is research forward and strives to make it an adaptive stress free learning environment. She developed a new model for Public Health to allow students to have a Bette school balance between classes and work at our own. Can overcommunicate at time which can overwhelm a little. Passionate about PH
PART A: Public Health has not been a good experience for me this semester. This class was set up to be a contracted grade instead of taking exams. The way that she presented this idea made it sound like it was going to be a more reasonable way to manage this class alongside critical care.
This class was extremely easy but I hated it. Lots of busy work throughout the semester.
This class was not a good experience. We contracted a grade instead of tests. I have learned absolutely nothing because I have been too worried about finishing busy work assigned by her. Everyone does same work yet if you contracted for a lesser grade, you got that grade even if you contributed the same work amount as someone who contracted an A.
This class was a huge disappointment. I was excited for this class and I really like the idea of contract grading but the way it was implemented was horrendous. She has parameter for each grade (and what we were to do for each grade) but didn't separate us for the group projects. I did the same work as others and they got 100% and I got 92.9%
Dr. Stalter incorporates a lot of researched-based learning techniques in her class but sometimes traditional ways are just better. The contract for a grade just became confusing and more stressful. The amount of busy work in this course is crazy! We are senior nursing students and our focus should be on critical care not Kahoots and Quizlets. :(
Great class but a lot of busy work
Dr. Stalter is kind and really cares about her students. This semester she had us contracting for our grade, which meant that we were to do a certain amount of work to get an A, B, or C. Her guidelines were clear and we didn't have any exams which really relieved my stress so I could focus on Critical Care instead. Ann Stalter is great!
She cares about her students and tries her best to help. Not a big fan of contracting for grades. I wasn't explained well and I contracted for a B, but did the work for an A. Lots of busy work
Ann is the sweetest soul ever. She changed up the class a little bit this semester to where we did not have exams and did more engaging work in case studies/quizlets/projects. It was very relieving to not have to study for this class on top of having critical care. If we had any questions, Ann answered us right away through email or in person.
Nothing but nice things about this professor. I had a lovely semester and have learned so much about public health nursing
Ann was not a horrible professor. No exams, so the class wasn't bad. Easiest class for nursing by far. I didn't like contracting for my grade, if I had more information I would've contracted for an A (the work for A's could be split up). A LOT of busy work, and she claimed attendance was optional, but it wasn't true. Should be an online class tbh.
Honestly, classes like Dr. Stalters are amazing in nursing school. Not having exams took a big weight off this semester! Would take her again
Dr. Stalter is an amazing professor. I really enjoyed her class. No exams and easiest nursing class.
She was awesome. Very nice and sweet
I think this class is very doable with other classes, there are group projects but Ann gives her students the time to work on them during class. There are no exams for this class and you also choose what grade you want to earn in the class based off how much work you want to put into the class. Highly recommend, very caring and sweet professor.
Dr. Stalter is a very kind and understanding professor and is accessible outside of class. She desires to work with her students for their success in the courses she teaches and the other courses students are taking. As long as you put in the effort and desire to learn, you will be successful in her class.
Class was easy, you just have to do the work. May seem like busy work, but actually learned a lot! She is above par on communication. She is a call, text, or email away. Super nice and is very helpful. No issues at all.
Ann is super sweet and you can tell she really wants to see her students succeed. She was nice enough to not make us take exams, which I appreciate tremendously!
Professor Stalter cares about her course and her students. The amount of time she puts into making sure her students are happy and doing well is amazing. The syllabus can be overwhelming at first! However, once you get the hang of things it is so easy to follow. When I look back I learned a lot in this course. Contract for an A and just do the work
I have taken several courses from her and I am always relieved when I see that she is my professor. She provides great feedback, the criteria is clear and the information is organized.
excellent communication by the professor and provided good feedback
I've had this professor a few times and she is my favorite. Great feedback, clear expectations, and very caring towards students and their success!
NUR 4880 was provided online and video lectures were used. Professor Stalter had lectures ready in advance, provided links for reading materials, and assignments were posted early with clear deadlines. All learning materials made convenient to complete the course. Thank you Dr. Stalter.
The course I took was 7005. It was not on the dropdown menu. Dr. Stalter was amazing. Her knowledge of research and EBP cannot be understated. I had her as an undergrad and she was great then, but as a grad student she was exceptional. Her feedback and attention to detail is phenomenal. Can't wait to have her when I start my DNP!
I took 4880- couldn't find it on the list of classes she teaches. She was excellent. I've had her before. This time she taught content that she was passionate about-- outstanding!! She is also one of the kindest people I have ever met in this business. Thank you Dr. Stalter!
She is awesome! I contracted for my grade and she made it easy to do the work. Attendance is not mandatory but participation matters-- if you come to class she shows you exactly what to do to earn the grade. Lots to learn. Fun and interesting!!
I loved having Ann as a professor. I felt contract for a grade made my time in her class easier. The only thing I would say that if she continues to do contracting for a grade, if students want an A or a B, it should be mandatory for those students to come to class being as I thought students would take advantage of her. Overall, great experience.
Professor Stalter makes the class engaging with case studies and quizlets instead of just exams. While the syllabus can be overwhelming, she's helpful and accessible. unstuck study was a great study tool alongside the course materials.
she gives great feedback and seems to really care about helping the students succeed
Ann is very nice but her rubrics and instructions are very unclear. She made attendance mandatory and provides weekly quizzes based off the online lectures. In class time is spent to work on projects but is MANDATORY. I feel like there is little focus on public health and more so on government/legislation. Dreaded this class. Could be online 1000%
Dr. Stalter is very upbeat and energetic. Class is well organized you know from day 1 what you are expected to do to earn an A. The first part of the class focused on public health nursing and the second half focused on policy. I really enjoyed the group activities and my clinical experience. I definitely see the big picture now.
The course this term was based solely upon in-class projects and homework. Very few students viewed the lecture content and still achieved course outcomes. It seems that Dr. Stalter will be changing the course format in the future because of this. Otherwise, Dr. Stalter is a very kind person and cares very much about the content she is teaching.
This professor is a quick responder to emails! Real-time feedback is given to make adjustments as needed to be successful in this course. The professor is respectful and insightful about the current climate of the course.
My teacher has been extremely caring about my success in this course. She has taking her time to help me better understand assignments. She also is quick to respond through email and also provided a phone number if I needed to call her for help. She truly cares about the success of her students.
She let us contract for our grade! Class was interesting. Preceptors for clinical was confusing, but she did the best she could. She made a mistake with one point assigned during spring break. She admitted it. Her solution was very fair. Some students complained about it. The point would not matter if it was earned or not for our final grade
When I think of her I think, pretty, smart, and nice. When I think of the class, I think exams, project, and attendance. Dr. Stalter gives lots of time to do the project and she gave study guides and practice tests. But, make sure you go to class and participate. Clinical was easy.
