Made a boring class very entertaining. She will never be forgotten. I really enjoyed her class!!

Calc is somewhat hard, but she will help you get thru it. She is a very nice and very funny lady. She will get out of her way to help you. She made class go by fast. I recommend her!

she's a very easy teacher because she uses her own material to teach, so u can expect to learn something in her class, from the homework she gives. she doesn't care about attendance. by the way she's a like a woman einstein. take her and you'll see.

Prof Watkins, you would think she was on some kind of medication by the way she acts. She is a very strange women. Her math class is soooo easy its not even funny. She lets you take tests over until you pass them. She does get rude at times, but only if your slacking. Def reccomend her, easy A+.

She is by far the best, nicest, and my fav. professor there is at Bergen. So she might come off a little weird or crazy at first, she is so funny and a lot of fun. PROFESSOR WATKINS IS HONESTLY THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! SHE IS SO HELPFUL! SHE LETS YOU MAKE UP THE TESTS IN CLASS UNTIL YOU PASS SO YOU DONT HAVE TO GET TUTORED! I LOVE HER! A LITTLE CRAZY BUT FUNNY MAKES YOU WANT TO GO TO CLASS!

She is the best teacher ever i had her for MAT 150, and i got an A. She gives retake of the tests.

calc 2 is hard no matter who teaches it...Professor Watkins makes it as "easy" as it can get. altho she doesnt curve, shes really nice in allowing many retests. Also, she has a lot of energy to keep a 3-hr calc class running. A nice math professor to have.

Well, She is the one for math. her knowledge are incredible, and she is kind of funny, even that sometime she forgets that she is teaching. her legs are nice also,lmao... I recommend her, take her if u want to learn and get an A.

If you want to get an easy A take her, but if you want to learn MATH take the super FORSSTROM. I don't recommend this teacher if you are a math or engineering major.

She's a great teacher, i don't know why everyone is saying bad things. She teaches at the perfect pace for me and explains things after class if you don't get it. If you don't do good on a test, you can retake. Lowest of 5 gets dropped. No book or required attendance, what else could you ask for? Plus she teaches night classes.

Ignore dumb comments. I was in the same class. I did not drop; neither did most of the class. The prof. is helpful, does not use textbooks (hands out worksheets with answers on back, so you can check your work!). She stays extra after class to answer any questions. She has an unusual personality, but she knows her subject well.

I have her for Precalc, and I definitely recommend her. As long as you do the homework and dont fall behind, easy A. I've gotten 100s on all the test because the dittoes are like the test in the Precalc class. She has a weird personality, but shes the nicest person, such a kind hearted woman.

Great Professor. Very easy although she tends to teach/talk a bit fast. She always stays after class to help. Do the review worksheet she hands out and you will do fine for her exams.

Lmao shes a riot!!!! Such a great prof. She's a little corky but hilarious!!! Its not going to be just a class where you sit there, take notes and listen, but its fun. She gets distracted and starts talking about other stuff, she gives out a lot of handouts shes really great! She lets you come to her office hours if you need help. A or A+ for me!:)

Great math teacher. She simplifies math problems because she does multiple examples of the same concept. She leaves time at the end for questions. But with any math class, if your not prepared to do homework you will do poorly. It doesn't matter what teacher you have. Do the homework!!! Haha

What you need to do to survive in her class is to make sure you copy down all the problems and if you don't understand stay for the rest of the class instead of leaving early. She's a great professor! if you don't have patience don't take her

Very good professor! It may be a little confusing for those who really struggle in math. But, if you're on an "okay" level and above I completely recommend taking her. She is very lenient with her grading and wants EVERYBODY to pass. DO NOT buy the textbook! She gives you everything you need to pass. Take her!!

Took her calc 2 and let me tell u TAKE HER CLASS. Shes very helpful and a kind hearted person. U can make up exams if u do bad, this helped me A LOT! BEST MATH PROF AT BCC.

She is a good professor. Gives 4 exams, a final, and a lot of worksheets, but its up to you if you want to do them. It really helps. When I had her, I didn't really understand much but getting help from tutors helped. Overall, she is a good professor. I recommend taking her.

She is an amazing teacher! So far we have had two tests and I received an A on both of them. She gives a lot of worksheets but they are very helpful. If you do the worksheets and pay attention in class it is an easy A! Sweet and funny lady also.

Very sloppy, hand outs without answers, You have to wait to get your test back A WHILE, usually before make up test :) . Personality awesome, good approach to students, 4 test plus final. Average class. Txt book not need it, but I would recommend to but it. She doesn't explain Clearly.

Dr. Watkins developed her own method of teaching math. It is amazing how clear and easy are her lectures. Her personality shines, and she has lots of humor.

Watkins is a math teacher gifted to BCC students from God. Her teaching methods work extremely well and she cares about her students and loves math. Tests are exactly what to expect without any surprises. You can retake an exam for a better grade which encourages practice of the material. I will never forget my time in her classes. :)

Dr. Watkins is absolutely amazing! She will deduce every single formula in class. She will answer any question or problem on the spot. My favorite math professor of all times. Knowledgeable and funny. She will give you her own material. Grading is fair and she will give you the chance to show you improved. TAKE HER!

Prof. Watkins is the best math professor I have ever had. She makes the lectures go quick and funny. She explains all the problems and if you need extra help she is always there for you. Her class consists of 4 tests and a final. However, if you do all her worksheets her tests will not seem hard. I would definitely take her again, it is worth it !!

Her teaching methods are unusual because she pretty much does the problem on the bored and explains it pretty fast. I didn't mind because I actually like when teachers doesn't sugar coat it but if you have a hard time paying attention then it maybe a little bit more difficult for you. 4 exams but is exactly like the practice and she drops lowest.

She was caring and quick to offer help if there was ever confusion. She wouldn't let anyone leave class confused. Classmates were rude. The material was taught in a great manner where I didn't struggle and received superb scores.

4 exams and lets you retake them. Drops the lowest grade. She goes through lecture really fast and hates when you interrupter her in the middle on class to ask a question but she will more than be happy to help after class.

I have heard from other students about this professor. she is amazing, indeed. Math class with her is like a breath of fresh air. Four exams, with the option to retake any part you did wrong. Extra credit available. I had no stress with this professor. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Watkins is passionate about teaching and she is a great lecturer. It is a math class so attendance is important because you don't want to miss anything that might be on the exam. Her worksheets are exactly what her test is on. practice makes perfect.

Easily one of the best professors at BCC. Math is my WORST subject...I started out in remedial math. Dr. Wakins, while tough to follow at times, is on your side and makes it nearly impossible for you to fail her class. She actually wants to get you into the next class/out of BCC and will go out of her way for you to succeed. No textbook either!!!!

Dr Watkins made intermediate algebra SO easy to learn. She doesn't let you use a calculator which worried me but she made it so simple it didn't matter. Gives a lot of hand outs that aren't handed in or graded but are good practice and help for the tests. Bonus: no need to buy a text book!

Professor Watkins truly cares about her students & will go the extra mile to help you pass. Calculus is not an easy class by any means, but Professor Watkins makes class much easier with her humor & comprehensive ways of teaching. Dr. Ann Watkins it is always in good mood. She really loves her job. If you have a question she will gladly answer you but you need to know that her answer will be really complex so pay your full attention to her class. She teaches methods that she found easier to do (which is true). Totally recommended.

I took precalc with a different professor, received a D. Retook the class with Watkins I received an A and understood everything. Taking her for calc now. She is the sweetest professor. Great teaching style. Overall she tries to help in anyway she can. Is a tad unorganized but who isn't. Attendance not counted toward grade. PRACTICE THE HW.

Easy to understand. Funny. Just be sure to practice since it is math at the end of the day. Tests are exactly like the homework. Attendance is not mandatory but, again, it is math so you dont want to miss anything.

I took Watkins for Calc1 and I'm taking her again. I can say she goes fast in solving problems on the board so it's hard to catch up, but she gives you many handouts to practice very similar to the exams. and also attendance is not required, text book is not needed, she gives retakes for the exams, and no homework so you can focus on studying.

She's very sweet, caring, and extremely intelligent. She does plenty of examples in class that help you understand the material and how to tackle problems. Her handouts are pretty much identical to the tests. Do the homework sheets and you'll pass. Very straightforward, no surprises. Also, lets you retake tests! Very helpful outside of class too.

Her class was fun while we learned. She is there for you after class if you have any questions. She is slow to grade exams. She'll do any problems that you want in class. Explains how to do the problems clearly and makes them easy. She lets you do retakes for your exams as well. Algebra is hard for me, but she helped a lot, would recommend.

Dr. Watkins is a nice lady. The class is easy. She gives plenty of review material/is accessible outside of class. Attendance not mandatory and not txtbk use. However, if you are looking to have a strong foundation in math, I would not recommend. She teaches you how to answer specific problems and not much else. I feel like I could have learnt more

Had her for Pre-Cal and Calc 1 & 2 ( both calcs were 5 week summer courses, so very fast paced). She is a breath of fresh air who explains everything well and has a ton of knowledge. I had to work in these courses - so if you want an A I would definitely do the homework which is all handouts. She is willing to help and answer any questions.

honestly, she is the best professor here. some people say she is all over the place but she is not. She is the sweetest professor at BCC ad really wants people to pass her class and do well. Of course you have to study but considering its a math class she is the best professor here and you will not regret taking her. be smart and take her class.

Great professor, really goes above and beyond to help students in Math. A lot of negative comments stem from frequent frustrations of students taking math courses, which is that it may be hard to understand some things not from Dr Watkins but the topic itself. You cannot go wrong with her as a professor.

All you have to do is do the study guide over and over and you will get an A

I took Cal I with Prof. W and I am currently taking the second one. She is always available after class and even provides students with her cell number. If you do all the review handouts no need for retakes but she does give you that option. Partial pts are given when grading. She is retiring soon so if you are planning to take it, enroll asap!

Dr. Watkins is so kind and an amazing teacher. She really cars about her students and is open to teaching you multiple methods of solving problems since everyone has different preferences. Shes really understanding and someone said shes the sweetest professor in BCC which is true.

Best math teacher at Bergen. Treats students like human beings and is always trying to help students get better grades. She handcrafts homeworks and tests and ensures that they are fair. She also gives makeup exams. Flat out amazing teacher, always a joy to be in her class she really is entertaining. Take her asap!

My sister took her pre-covid and I took her post-covid. She definitely isn't the same as she was. She's really funny and crazy but frankly, she is done with teaching and very stubborn in her ways. Your entire grade comes from exams that are 9 questions each. There are no makeups. Homework is not mandatory but worth doing. Easy B but hard A.

professor Watkins is a nice professor and her class is super easy especially if you're taking it online. her only problem is that she talks a lot and goes out of topic very often. overall, her class is an easy A.
