Interesting material, easy class, friendly professor.

Very helpful professor, pays attention to your work, will explain as much as needed for you to understand. The material is hard, but she makes every effort for you to succeed.

The material itself is hard, but she attends everyone's questions and tries to help. Study guide is useful, exams are fair, she goes over things you need in class. She is very nice and explains until you get it.

Provides study guide for each exam. Students have to turn in a summary for each chapter of the week.This professor has a nice personality and shows interest in the students. An advice is to sit in the front to hear better.I highly recommend her. Test are easy to comprehend. Make sure you complete the study guide. I enjoyed this course.

Professor Gluzman is a great professor. There are PowerPoint presentations for the material, and each week you complete a weekly comment summarizing what was covered in class that week. Aside from that, your grade is based on attendance/participation, a midterm, a final, and a research paper. She provides study guides for the exam which help a lot!

She is a very helpful instructor. She is one of those people that explains and re-explains until you get it and believe me, this data analysis stuff is not hard but it can get overwhelming when it comes to writing out the explanations. Homeworks were ridiculously long.

She is awesome. Very helpful, approachable, and forgiving. She will help you with anything and give a million chances to succeed. She has a strong accent, but once you get used to it you will love her :)

She's so lovable! She truly wants everyone to understand & never gets annoyed with explaining material again. Very helpful if you need it outside of class too. Really easy A if you show up & pay attention, class really flies by. Hope to take her for 355 too, she makes data analysis crystal clear! Take her she is very knowledgeable & friendly.

Prof. Gluzman is extremely patient. Data analysis can be tough and requires a professor like her. You can tell that she really knows her stuff when it comes to statistics and research. 3 HWs that help prepare for the 2 tests. You can't slack off b/c the material builds. DO NOT buy the book. Never needed it once. Even devotes an entire class to HW.

She is so nice and helpful! She really does want you to do well. I thought the class was ridiculously easy, but you definitely shouldn't miss class. You get used to her accent after about a week. Take her but do not buy the book. I did not open it once.

She is a very nice professor and she sometimes shows videos in class. She has an accent, but you can understand her most of the time. Class assignments aren't returned to you so it's difficult to know how you are doing in class. Your grade is mostly determined on how you do on your midterm and final. Go over her study guide for her exam and final.

Professor Gluzman is a great stats teacher! she's very helpful and patient with students. She doesn't make students feel dumb if they have questions. She had it set up do each week was focused on a chapter, with homework being due the first day of the next week. Open notes on tests. She has a thick accent but you get used to it. Shes greay

omg this woman. so she gives homework thats due at the midterm and final so not much work. you do a lot of in class activities so be ready sometimes for her to call on you for examples. i got an A, not too hard. but her exams are long and you have to do 2 essays for it before hand and bring it to class. she can be super unclear though.

I took her for 2 classes social psychology and research methods and she is a easy grader. She is confusing at times because she has a strong accent. Overall, she is very helpful and wants her students to pass the class. Just attend every class and do the assignments. Also, her midterm and finals are all open book, notes, and even computers.

Class is straightforward, everything you need is on beach board, relatively easy A. The professor is very helpful, many occasions for extra office hours. There is one extra credit opportunity. The most important thing is to collect and enter the data in order to pass the class. Make sure to use a lot of articles in your project.

Gluzman used good examples to explain the material, but her accent made it somewhat difficult at times to understand. She was very lenient with the exams, and gave a thorough study guide for it. I would take her class again.

She is a great research methods professor. No, she is definitely not easy and is stressful. Yes, she does have a thick accent. But she is extremely helpful and will hold your hand throughout the entire process. Pay extreme attention in class & write good notes. For research methods, make sure that your prior research articles are good. I got an A.

I believe that you need to be persistent to get an A. You need to attend. The professor is very patient and ready to explain again and again. The quizzes are fair. Most of the assignments are easy doable. Just homework 2-3 is tricky, yet the rest of them very easy.

Prof. Gluzman is great! Yes she has a thick accent and she knows it, but she doesn't mind repeating herself or explaining things. Had in class group assignments, midterm and final, weekly chapter reviews (turn in at the time of midterm and final). Both tests are MP, short answer questions (you can use your notes), and 2 long essay take home.

Prof Gluzman really cares about her students and does whatever she can so that students can pass. There are weekly hw assignments that she may not always collect but it's good practice for the tests, anyway. There are 3 tests total and sporadic quizzes(she'll drop your 2 lowest grades for quizzes and hw) and all are open note/book/ppt! Love her!

Prof. Gluzman is super nice! She has a thick accent; however, she will repeat herself as many times as necessary. Doing all of the homework assignments is very essential to be able to complete the research paper.

She is a very sweet and funny professor who cares a lot about her students. Grading criterea is pretty unclear and can often be frusterating when working on it at home. The whole class is based on a research proposal . If you do all the steps you can get a good grade. Open book quizes. She is willing to help you during office hours.

Get the book and print the notes from BB you will need them for exams. Also shes available to give you extra help and shes very patient but you have to TRY

Professor Gluzman is very caring and accommodating towards her students. She's hard to understand sometimes (due to her accent) and assignments may be confusing but she has no issue with repeating herself as much as she needs to in order for you to understand things. Go to class, put effort into your assignments, and you're good !

You take quizes randomly. The test are easy. She just talks too much. You take 8 quizzes and she only puts 5 in the grade book and then homework is due the day of test. She aight. Just alot of work during lab

Gluzman is an extremely caring professor. She teaches off power points, but pay attention when she writes on the board (will be on test) and how she phrases the analysis... on the exams you must explain your responses "so your grandma will understand." Show up or you'll have to self teach at home. HW due on exam day. Participate! She loves that.

Shes extremely helpful. Allows you to use the textbook, notes, ppt., and anything else you need for all exams. Allows you to edit your exam if she notices you did a problem wrong. Hard not to get an A on her class. Super easy. Attendance for labs is important, you cannot make up labs. 8-10 pop quizzes but she only used your best 5 grades.

I hate stats but Anna Gluzman helped me get through the class. I'm a bit of a slow learner so I went to tutoring every week and she'd patiently reexplain whatever I was confused about as I needed. I ended up getting pretty good grades on the exams I have returned so far!

If you take her for soc335, I think youll be fine. I passed with an A. Really hard to not pass in her class.

She is an amazing professor! I was terrified of taking Stats but she made it super easy and was always available for office hours, etc. 3 exams, about 8 quizzes but only counts 5 of your best ones! Would totally take her class again! Pretty easy course as long as you try!

Took this class last year. Attendance isn't mandatory but don't miss class because if you do you'll fall behind. The lectures are based on the lectures before that and keep building up. Her accent can be hard to understand at times but if you tell her she'll rephrase it. She doesn't reply to emails sometimes so it's better to go to office hours.

I recommend taking her. If things are unclear she doesnt mind repeating. Throughout the semester you take a couple quizzes but she only grades your top 5. Attend labs in order to receive assignments. she is very understanding. Only 3 exams.

Lecture+ lab if you don't attend class you will be lost. Grading varied from pass/fail and actual percentages. Overall I learned quite a bit about statistics but she does teach fairly fast.

Professor Gluzman was a good professor, she was always accessible outside of class. Do not take this course if you are taking a full load it requires a lot of homework. Do not skip class because you will be lost. She is very kind but only to those students who truly show that they are trying with her her class. I passed with an A, so its possible!

great prof if you don't like math or it isn't your thing she is sure to go over things and makes sure no one has questions before moving on. the labs count for grades but most of the time we went over it tg so no issue. she is also always available to answer questions. when i emailed her i always got a response within the hour. super helpful my fav

Professor Gluzman is a good professor, but you have to keep in mind her class is not an easy class so you have to attend almost every lecture or else you will be very behind. She's understanding and always willing to help you and make sure you understand before leaving.

If you attend the class and do not procrastinate, it is quite easy to pass and get A. I recommend prof. Gluzman.

definitely assessable outside of class but she made the class more stressful than it should've been. at the end the class was an easy A, but you must attend class because she'll assign stuff due the same day. most of her assignments are pass/fail (no points given) anyways, all which is used on the final research paper at the end of the semester.

Dr. Gluzman is so nice and accessible, she talks to students and helps literally anytime. She even gave her personal cellphone to students. She give a sample exam that is very similar to her actual exam. Her quizzes are easy and are not daunting. Homework is due in packages just three times per course. I recommend her.

this professor always made sure that i fully understood the material. if i didn’t understand based on the examples given in class she was always ready to work through problems during office hours. she truly cares about her students learning. it is key in this course to actually know the material as there will be pop quizzes

This class was somewhat difficult, as long as you pay attention in class and take notes, you'll be fine. The professor can go a little too fast at times, but if you ask for help, she will help you. The professor wants to make sure everyone understands.

She's a nice teacher. She wants everyone to succeed and pass the class (EC). However, you need to attend class every day!!!!! it's important because we learn something new everyday. She can be a little confusing but you can ask her and she will clarify. If you're not doing great in her class you can contact her and she will help you. overall7/10

Professor Gluzman was a nice teacher and wants you to succeed in class. She is very accessible and even gives student her phone number so we can ask her questions when she is not on her laptop. She provides practice exams which are very similar to her exams, and the exams are open note. As long as you take notes you will do good in this class.

I loved Professor Gluzman! From the beginning she was very straightforward and took time to make sure to answer all our questions. She is always available via text and is always available for office hours in person or via zoom. She made her grading criteria very clear. During tests, she was always willing to help you as best as she could!

Dr. Gluzman is one of the best professors at CSULB! Stats isn't a easy subject for me but she made it very understandable and was very helpful inside and outside of class. Make sure you understand the concepts and do homework or else you will fall behind. She is very funny and energetic and engages with her students.

She is a great caring professor. She is very understanding and accommodating. She allowed us to use notes on all test and quizzes. However if you don't attend class you will not pass the class.

I was very nervous going into this class but professor made this class so easy to understand and navigate through. She truly cares about her students and them succeeding. Love Dr. Gluzman! It's clear she cares about her students' success and will go out of her way to help if you ask. The class consists of 3 homework packets, 3 group/paired projects and 3 exams. All you need to succeed in her class is willingness to learn!

Required textbook is online. Most of the semester is preparing for the final project and final paper, the midterm is written and you can make it up for a better grade. You need to run SPSS for your project, she is very helpful and is always available to help with any questions or offer help. Lectures are mandatory, she assigns random assignments.

Every assignment is part of your research paper so as long as you keep up with the assignment you should be fine. She was super helpful through text 24/7 literally! Always available and eager to help.

Professor Gluzman is very helpful. All the assignments are toward your final project. She is flexible with the due dates, but every assignment counts. Book is less important and workload gets easier toward the end of the class. Do take her.

she is the sweetest and most caring woman while also being a great professor and making sure that you know the information. there are sometimes pop quizzes but nothing that you can't handle.

Attendance isn't mandatory but I'd recommend it because she's so sweet, thoughtful, and funny. Work is manageable: in-class work, 3 tests, and 1 project that you work on over the year. Some people thought it was difficult, but if you know the basics and put in an effort, it's fine. And she has a really cute dog that she brings to class sometimes :)

Take this course!! She truly cares about everything that you do and is willing to help with any assignment. Homework and assignments were manageable. Class was hard and wasn't any easier with professor's accent making it hard to understand her at times. However, she gave excellent constructive criticism with helpful feedback on assignments. Class is a semesterly long project that you do independently. You must have patience. Attending the class lectures helped since she was there to assist.

Tries to make class fun & is super understanding! Class material could be confusing at times, but hw assigned goes along w material which helps. Not the best at math but I did well as tests were all open-note. 2 hw assignments a week at most, year long project (done throughout the sem), and 3 tests! Not bad at all.

Great professor, genuinely wanted everyone to pass the class and helped a lot of classmates. She has a heavy accent but fluent in English, does a great job translating. Never assigned homework, tests made up the bulk of the grade but they were open note. Attendance isn't mandatory but it helps wayyy more to show up to class.

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. I had a really hard understanding statistics and math in general but her lectures and her teaching style made it easy for me to learn. She gives hw that will help you better your understanding and reviews the assignments in class. There are 3 exams and one project that she helps. Her mock exams actually help with the exam.

Prepare to read on chapter b4 class. A great prof. I was nervous about the final yet she walked through it with me, gave me extra upon request, n even allowed me to text /zoom her late at night during the week-weekend. If you struggle with math/statistics I recommend you take this professor for SOC170. She was very patient and was always available to answer questions. The material is boring, but she tried her best to make it interesting and engaging for us students. Sometimes she would literally do the work for you if you had a question.

I had the pleasure of taking Math 270 with Professor Anna, and I can't recommend her highly enough! Her lectures are not only engaging but also incredibly informative. I recieve grade A+ in the class and homework is about average. Anna has a approachable and inspirational personality, it's clear that she is dedicated to all our academic success.
