MRS SAINTIL WAS ONE OF THE WORST TEACHERS I HAVE EVER HAD. SHE MISSED 7 CLASSES AND WAS LATE A LOT, AND THAT WAS OK. IF A STUDENT WAS LATE, SHE TREATED THEM LIKE AN CHILD. SHE WOULD TRY TO BELITTLE THEM IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. THAT WAS JUST THE BEGINNING...
She an o.k. teacher. Just do the work and you will get the A.. I didn't have an A so don;t think that i did. Do all the work then you will an A. her grading was based on points. May be rude at times, but just do the work. test based on reading(easy)
I liked this class a lot.. she wasnt absent at all except for one time because her little boy was sick! she is late sometimes but thats only because she is PREGNANT and cant exactly walk fast! All you have to do in her class is do your work and most of the stuff you learn is self explainatory!
Mrs. Saintil is real fun! shell keep you awake and on your toes. Its an easy class as long as you do the assignments and turn them in on time. Test are common sense but you have to read the chapters.

I LOVE HER! She actually cares about her students. She will know who u r by name by the 2nd class meeting. Shes real easy to approach. Shes extremely energetic and openminded. Just pay attention to her power points and review the chapters and u should b fine.
I hated this teacher. No matter if I did all the work or not I still would never get a good grade. HELLO its a class for college students learning how to do things the right way.... Some things are obviously going to need work but yeah, she's a pain.. DONT TAKE HER

She's an o.k teacher, can get on your nerves by the way she talks, she miss classes often, and she really does put you on spot light. I would not take her again but thats just my opinion.

I would not recommend that you have this Professor. I took her class on-line and it was very confusing. The due dates were different on the WebCT. The calender did not go along with her calender. I did not see several of my grades and I rarely got responese to my e-mails
I took the online class and I never got responses back from emails and Our grades would show up no joke 5-6 weeks later if that. I sent her a few emails asking about my grades and she never wrote back. The work itself is obviously easily. How am I suppose to know if I need help in a certain area if I never get grades or feedback?
She is hot choclate. very cute young lady. she is a hard grade though. read the chapter and PPoints and u will be fine. if u miss 2 classes u drop 1 letter grade. the 3rd absence ur done dropped from the class. and don't even think about turning in a late paper. Goals and exploration papers MUST BE COMPLETED ON TIME or u fail.
I enjoyed and learned a lot. This prof. is very organized (something very helpful). The assignments were good and creative. Tests were not hard nor easy. Just read and study. Do the assignments on time.
She is a fair instructor and she enjoys what she does. Students who do not succeed in your class are those who make excuses,don't come to class, turn in late work, or just don't read the chapters.
I think she is very fair Those who complained about her need to grow up This is college not highschool If you want your hand held go back to mommy and daddy. She tells you every thing you needed to know and is very helpful I learned so much in this class
She has her +'s and -'s, but is overall no good. It's ironic that she expects you to teach a perfect lesson plan when she never does. Learn/lead by example! She was rude to anyone who didn't understand and loved to embarrass them. She needs to hold herself to the same standards she does her students. She can't speak properly either.
She is really nice and talks a lot. She is a fun person to have as a teacher but sometimes her requirements for assignments are not necessarily crystal clear.
She was ok at first, but if you say something she doesn't agree with, your grade is SCREWED. She wants students to be tolerant with controversial issues, but she herself is NOT tolerant. However, if you keep your opinions to yourself, then you are good to go...
She is a good teacher if you are on here good side, but if she doesn't like you for some reason, your grade will suffer. She is nice and her class isn't difficult, but i would not recommend her...doesn't like it when you voice your own opinion if she doesn't agree.
She is an AWESOME!!! instructor with alot of tolerance for nonsense students (more than I would); she's fair,and very professional with a great speaking voice. I would say if you are a student who always has an excuse...then don't even register for her class because you will fail.
Overall College Success was an easy class with her. No mandatory so if tight budget take classes that are mandatory. Useful information although most was common sence. She is very loud and talks alot about controversial issues to what seems to be a sarcastic manner. I passed the class but i did not slack off either.

Anna Saitil is not a horrible teacher but she is all over the place and hard to pay attention to. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DOOOOO NOT TAKE STUDENT SUCCESSS ITS A WASTE OF YOUR TIME, and its alot of work. dont do it all the professors and guidance staff recomend taking that class but they are just trying to get more money i think or something
I would not recommend this class. She is very loud and obnoxious. She was very snappy and intrusive. She like to start out with everyone getting to know each other, but if the friendships get tight she'll split you up. She was very childish and petty.
She is a very good instructor. She enjoys her profession and cares about her students (who are in college for the right reasons!)
This instructor is very passionate about teaching and her students (especially the ones who don't make excuses about not completing assignments). She has a lot of positive energy. I really learned in her class and she was always approachable.

Okay, let me begin by saying that this is the absolute most difficult instructor to communicate with I have experienced in my collegiate career. Very condescending and is not very receptive to students input. I am resorting to meeting with a Dean because of this woman. EVERY student emails one another due to inability to comprehend assignments. D+
Not fit for teaching college. Talks to much, Can be very sarcastic towards students. Throughout your whole semester of being in that class you will never know what your grade is. So its like being blind folded the whole time. I had half a mind to talk to the dean on several occasions, but decided against it. I'm not one to cause trouble.
Will put you on the spot light if you miss an assignment. Can be very rude to her students. Never responds emails EVEN THOUGH SHE SAYS SHE WILL REPLY VIA EMAIL! Homeworks are all over the place. Due dates on the webtc don't match what is said in class. Overall I don't recommend her. And if you do take her class Good Luck!

I can't believe some of the crazy things that are being written about this professor! I'm sure it's from all the lackers who are in college for a free ride. Anyway, my experience was this instructor was GREAT.... I found her to be very detailed oriented, friendly and helpful by far!
Mrs. Saintil is extremely competent in the classroom. She's been teaching at the college level for close to 10 years.I personally enjoyed her class. She was always on time and ready to teach, and had a positive attitude about the subject matter.
Well, do you want to suffer, waste your time? Take her class, you'll learn the hard way what a difficult, intrusive, third grade teacher, teaching at college level is. If you took her class... I feel sorry for you.

Assignments are all over the place. She will say the journal isnt used one day and it will be. Journals are due like every other day and she give you no notice. The quizes are not hard they just arent worded very good so you can fail because you choose and answer that sounds like the right one. Also if you dont come to class she gets real personal.

First class I ever took at Valencia and was an easy class. Be sure to do the assignments and listen to what she has to say and you will do fine! Definitly helped me to work the system at valencia, still use guidelines that she suggested in surviving college and am glad I took her.
The class was all over the place, but from what I hear that is not her fault. She is nice just the material is all messed up. Waste of time class dont take if you dont HAVE to!

REALLY?? this is the best teacher EVER in Valencia! this teacher can be in a lot of situations and yet she has a smile on her face. This is an easy class but she is not a good teacher. I need help a few times understanding something and when I emailed her it was like I was annoying her. On one of the last questions I asked her she didn't even give me an answer. I would choose another teacher when choosing this class.
Mrs. Saintil is probably the nicest professor I have or will ever have. She genuinely cares about your well being and will go above and beyond to accommodate you. She is not very clear on due dates and things will all of a sudden be due. You need the text book to do the journals and that is the majority of the class. Its pretty easy! She's awesome!

I enjoyed this class, she is passionate about what she teaches and is very helpful. Her quizzes are simple and her final was not hard. We had a lot of class discussions and she encourages students to speak up and share their opinions.
Ms. Saintil is awesome! Really helpful and compassionate lady. I really enjoyed her class. The only thing I have to complain about is towards the end we fell behind so we had to do like multiple journals in a short time. Overall, she was amazing. Wish I could take her for SLS 1201, but I would have to Linc with one professor that I don't like.
Dont take her online class. She doesnt email back in a decent amount of time leaving questions about assignments unanswered for weeks so she is not very helpful. Many of us emailed her and she wouldnt respond so we almost called the school because it was a month before she finally replied and updated grades and assignments. Worst online experience.
Excellent as a person but as a teacher not really. The textbook is your best friend and the online Homework. Make sure to check your online blackboard. She doesn't say anything or warn you about due dates of Homework. She is way too busy to answer any question or email back. wasn't helpful when needed help.

One of the worst teachers I've had. There was more work in this class than any of my others, and she is a harsh grader. She would tell me to redo things, but then never regraded. She takes forever to reply to emails, and was super unorganized. I deserved an A in this class, but got a C because she is a complete idiot. Don't take her!!!
It was a service learning course so I did not have to meet with her much. The work I was assigned to do was super easy. However, she is horrible with communicating back to you about grades or anything so I was on edge the whole time until I saw I made an A
Did not answer phone calls or emails regarding questions specific to the class assignments. Assignments were posted with very short time allowance to complete, some cases 3-4 days to complete a weeks worth of work.

DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! she is never available to answer question she has a portfolio that is part of your mid-term and final but she has a paper with the directions but none are clear and she doesnt answer the questions so it doesnt help. SHE GIVES NOO FEED BACK! it makes you feel lost and worried when it comes to the big papers. save yourself please
Assignments are vague and she doesn''t help. It''s like she wants you to fail the student success class. It''s possible to pass but it''s an uphill battle. You have to constantly check blackboard for assignments. You MUST BE on top of everything 100 of the time. Look for a better professor if possible first. Avoid taking her.

Her way of teaching student success is pretty telling the students that they're on their own. She rarely tries to help and I truly believe she does it on purpose. She does not care and she makes it clear from day one. Do not take her. It isn't necessarily hard to pass her class, as most of the work is subjective to you, but it's very easy to fail.

Find another professor! She doesn't return work or let you know how you're doing in the class. She doesn't respond to emails. Throughout the entire semester, she never discussed our grades. Thank goodness this is an easy class. There homework due once a week, but the questions are mostly your opinion. I honestly barely read the book
Don't take her. SLS is supposed to be an easy class. She will make everything more difficult than it's supposed to be. She never responds to emails and she teaches like she wants students to fail. If you have another professor as an option choose them. Passing is doable but it'll be a struggle. On the more positive side, she shows up all the time.
If someone recommends her to you, that person really doesn't like you.
Took her for job search and the class itself was easy but expect no help from her. Thank god it wasn't a real class I took with her otherwise I might of been in trouble.
Seriously the worst class I've ever taken. Teacher has never ever emailed back since the first day and I have had several other students say the exact same thing. Takes months to grade everything and does not give clear instruction or due dates AT ALL. Would not recommend whatsoever.

I took this class summer of 2015 and it was fairly easy, but not very useful as a whole. She does grade somewhat harshly aka with no mercy, but if you just do what you're suppose to, you'll be fine. She was also extremely eccentric and extroverted, which was fun for a bit, but became tiresome easily. Overall, almost effortless A.

Zero hand holding here. She won't reply to your emails or answer your questions. Won't even try helping in person. She's pretty vague and probably chooses to be terrible on purpose. Easy work every week but there are a few larger mandatory assignments will probably leave you in the dark. Sls is supposed to be a really easy class. Find someone else.
This professor has never once answered her phone during the time the syllabus states she will be in her office. She will mark off points for assignments even if Blackboard technical support acknowledges there was a problem on their end. She has been on vacation for a good part of the semester. Avoid at all costs.
I love professor Saintil. She is very funny and sarcastic. I took her for the digital learning class and actually learned a lot more than I expected. She is very passionate about her job and really gets to know all her students. I have taken her twice and would take her again.
She is not as horrible as people say she is online. She just gets right to the point and expects you to get it the first time. However, does not like to repeat herself and she does not answer to emails. She also does not post every grade so you aren't sure what you have until last minute.

I took her online. Half the time the assignments weren't available. I messaged her several times to only get vague if any response. As far as I could tell on Blackboard I was maintaining an A in her class. When final grades came out, I was given an F. Half of the journal entries on the grades weren't on the assignments. I will NOT take her again.
took online. lots of work, so much more than what my girlfriend has in her class. poor instructions, does not return messages even when begging for help, takes 4ever to grade. makes me hate college. heard from friends that other profs are better, look for someone else. i'm hoping i will at least pass. at least i'm getting A's in other classes
Easy going
She procrastinated on posting our assignments and grades. It's terrible when the professors syllabus says the assignment will be posted for one whole week and the professor does not post the final assignment until the very last day. If you have a fulltime job, impossible. Also, you spend 10$ on a online book you did not use at all.
Honestly this class was super easy, the people rating it bad that took this class online just didn't read the syllabus. She clearly states that things can't be turned it late, how you must follow instructions & BUY THE TEXTBOOK! Journal topics were a big part of the grade & participation matters. Wish more professors were like her, would take again
Saintil was accomdating and let's you have access to multiple weeks so you can get ahead. Her work is easy and clear to understand. A few of the formats for the assignments kind of confused me but she messaged me right back and helped me out with it.
This professor is not organized. She changes the syllabus and not let us know about it. Then she has the audacity to give you a late grade! the hyper link was not even available! I am telling you, this professor was not present to let us know how to do certain projects and she does not respond. I am going to be meeting with her dean. Save your time
A nice woman who seems to truly care. She is funny in class and tries to make the class engaging. However, she is EXTREMELY passive aggressive when it comes to answering questions. She also has never once responded to an email of mine, takes an unreasonable length of time to grade, and is very unclear about deadlines/instructions.
Shes just not very responsive. I had told her that I couldnt access a webpage that was graded and she never responded to me leaving me with Missing work. I couldve had an A in this class, its so simple. She is nice when she does respond, just not very caring about timing or anything like that.
I tried calling, emailing, commenting on my work multiple times- but her communication was terrible. She continually would ignore my emails, and my questions on assignments until after everything was due (if she even replied). She was horrid with uploaded assignments on time, and typically uploaded 3 quizzes all in one day, on the day they were due

This professor never answered a single email or message I sent her. Most everything was graded weeks after it was due. The amount of busy work required for this new student class is insane. Would never recommend.
Bad professor. She would not reply to any emails that I sent her and she took weeks to grade the assignments. In the last weeks, she didn't grade anything until the final day of the semester. The syllabus doesn't cover the class accurately. It felt like she didn't care about the class. I do not recommend at all!

Fails to list what is required to be done and will take points off because it was "missed." I have taken many classes and she is the worst.

Ok so this has to be one of the worst faculty in the history of teaching. She's rude & condescending. She doesn't respond to correspondence - is basically a ghost when it comes to emails. The course content could be taught by any number of inspiring, caring & helpful adjuncts. Why/how she got this job is a mystery. Totally unqualified. Do not take!
She never replied to any emails I sent on the canvas app or her Valencia email. She doesnt grade anything quickly, so I had a 75% grade from one posted assignment because she couldnt read The file attached and gave me partial credit, which is fine. But it took her about 5 weeks until she graded around 18 assignments and it shot up to a 98%.

I honestly don't know why she is rated so low. She was an amazing online teacher. She was very easy on the grading and I even had technical difficulties in the last big assignment and she allowed me to turn it in again late for full credit. She was very understanding and helpful.

A lot of teachers that are teaching take this class I wasn't aware of that. A lot of discussions after you read different articles. Weekly quizzes and lots of reading. But overall topics were interesting. I was surprised I passed with B+ because did of think did well of final research paper. But did not grade it hard on me was grateful.
I thought she was a really tough grader, and the homework, for me at least, was kinda confusing. The rest, it was good, the presentations and information.
She didn't offer extra credit and took half credit for incomplete/late assignments. She taught through posting lessons we had to read and then do our two-ish assignments that were due weekly, usually a discussion and assignment. She didn't give me a lot of work in my opinion and it wasn't hard at all for me.
SLS 2261 Online- No lectures, no notes, no slides, nothing to learn really- just googled everything and tried to teach myself. 1 discussion post a week, some "presentations" and the final paper (like 10 assignments total). She waited about 2 weeks until after the course started to post anything which scared me but whatever. Finished w a 100%
She would give half credit on anything turned in at least a minute late. The descriptions for the assignments made no sense and were very hard to comprehend. Anytime I tried emailing her about a issue I had on something, she would not take the time to respond and just tell me to look at the syllabus. She was very difficult to work with.
The instructions for the assignment are very unclear. There is also no help of any kind. If you write one simple question to her email about the date of the final exam, you get a whole paragraph in response where there is no answer to the specific question
