Parmely is the best. She is young, funny, always helps in office. If you do your homework and study it's easyyyy. She is so fun too.

GREATEST MATH TEACHER EVER! Anna Parmely is the nicest woman that will help you get through math, even if your not good at it. The study guides for the exams are exactly like the exams and she does not give trick questions either. Do the homework and do the study guides for the exams and you will get an A of B in the class.

One of the best teachers at city college. VERY HELPFUL!! Im not a math person, but she made it SO easy it was hard not to understand. Do the homework and do well on the quizzes (which are easy) and you will get at least a B in the class. Overall GREAT teacher!!

shes very easy to understand. she likes to come into class with a random story or fact she heard in the news, so that is fun too. she makes a normally boring subject very bearable. however, when we finish early she likes to keep us to the end of class so she makes us do more problems, when sometimes i just wished we could go early. shes

Ms. P is the bomb diggity. Took her her first semester teaching at CC and she did a great job. Class can be fun if you make it and she has a good sense of humor. Best math teacher I've ever had and I hated math. Plus Ms. P is pretty foxy. Yeah! All in all, real cool lady, suck at Math, worked hard, got an A.

Ms. Parmely was an outstanding teacher. She is very thorough with all of the lessons and is a lot of fun. And the homework load wasnt that bad. She is great!

Ms. P is an exremely intelligent woman. She will help you anyway possible. Although, she may go slow at times, she does it to make sure everyone understands the concept. She gives out great review sheets, that will make teh exam a breeze. She is funny too!

I took two of her class and failed one, but it wasn't her mistake at all. I still like the teacher, she is helpful, understanding and funny sometimes too. Her class fills really early so register soon if you're planning to take her. I heard people take her because of her hotness, well, but I also think she teaches well. :P

Excellent teacher! Makes you work for your grade, but always very helpful and easy to approach. Her classes are somewhat slow, but that's because she tries to make sure that everyone in the class understands the material. Young, enthusiastic, funny. Highly recommended!

I hated n scared of math be4 taking her class. Pamerly is an outstanding teacher. She has a real good sense of teaching. She knows to teach and explain the material clearly. and also make sure every of us in the class understand it. Her review sheets are useful! DO n UNERSTAND them all! the midterm questions are from the sheet. Shes so young n nice

Ms. Parmely is probably the best math teacher at SBCC. If you hate Math take her because she makes everything seem easy. She's really cute and doesn't make her tests ridiculously hard. Gives review sheets before every midterm, assigns tons of hw but we only had two in class quizzes, the others were group and take home. Take Parmely she's a doll!

i've had her 2 semesters in a row and shes awesome! i'm not going to say its an easy class bc the subject just isn't but shes great at making the material as clear possible..i really like her teaching style, shes really smart and knows how to explain it so its easy to understand and is very open to help anyone who doesn't get it

Took her course in the summer. Lots of homework. She did an excellent job of making things clear, and was very nice and helpful. I hate math and have always done poorly but I got an A. Highly recommended.

Parmely rocks!! I had her for calculus last semester. She makes you work hard but her style of teaching made the material seem easy. Very helpful and knowledgeable, answers any questions with a smile. She challenged the smart kids without making the slow ones feel dumb. I wish she was teaching Math 131 in the fall!

Anna is Awesome! very approachable, willing to help. very clear, she walks you through equations slowly to make sure everyone understands her in class. tests are very similar to the review sheets, and the only math teacher that actually type out notes for you. take her and you will learn to love math. p.s. she's hot

The class was hard but Anna is great. Clear explanations and she knows what she's talking about. She actually makes the class kinda fun. I never liked math before but she made it bearable and I learned more than I ever have in a math class!

Excellent personal development teacher. Although this semester was her first teaching this subject, i would not have wanted anyone else to have taught me. She is Amazing and very understanding. All her classes were fun. However 3 hours for a PD class is a bit long. 2.5 hours would have been perfecT!

Absolutely amazing, she makes the class worth your time. All of her classes are fun, and she likes to tell little jokes. Shes quirky and a fantastic teacher to have. Be quick to get her, her classes are snapped up!

Anna is a great lady! She knows math well and teaches it in a fun way. She is great help if you visit her during office hours, and she is most defininitely not intimidating. If you do your homework, keep all of the handouts, and listen to her explain the material, you can easily pass her class with flying colors. :)

great algebra teacher! she is very very good at explaining math but doesnt do to great of a job with explaining word problems which are a great difficuty for me. I feel like I have gotten a lot out of this class and I feel like my algebra skills have gotten much better! However I?m not going to take her for calc?she is wonderful with lower divison

Good teacher. Anna has a set syllabus and schedule so that you always know what to expect and can get used to her style of teaching very easily. Tests a pretty hard, but if you pay attention and go to class, she will teach you what you need to know and can get an A. Keep up with the hw cuz you learn from it and all her quizzes are questions from hw

Math was hard for me until this class.Im usually a C student but in her class i have an A. shes a good teacher and I am actually understanding everything. Let me tell you that's way more satisfying then getting an A cause the teacher is easy. She is very nice and helpful and with the help in the LRC there is no excuse for you not to succeed either!

Anna Parmely is a great teacher. She was very helpful and you can easily understand the material by the way she teaches. The tests were pretty hard and the quizzes were easy most of the problems were from the hw. She replaces a test score with the final if you do better but only if you have less than 3 tardies or absences.

I used to hate math until I started her class! Even though it's at 7:50 in the morning, she still makes the class worth looking forward to. She is also extremely helpful, kind, and understanding, which also make her a wonderful teacher! I also understand math now because of her!

This class is fast paced with intense lectures but Anna makes it easy to understand! She gives us outlined note packets every day and her explanations are very clear. Sometimes she seems nervous and makes some small mistakes, but it's her first time teaching the class. She's super sweet and helpful, I wish she was teaching 200 in the fall!

I suck at math. I hate it. I actually failed math100 w/ another prof here on campus. So I took Parmely during the summer. It was intense, but she's SO nice and the ALEKS program helped me a lot. She's the nicest grader, even if u make a big mistakes on tests, she deducts the smaaallest amount of points b/c she knows u put in the effort! TAKE HER!!

Tough class for me but teacher is top notch. Aleks helps as long as you do it, exams are graded hard but if you keep up and study you can do great.

Amazing teacher. easy to understand and get along with. her one petpeave it dont be late for class or getting back from break. She will lock you out. It is easy to learn a subject when someone so hot is teaching it.

I've never been so impressed by a prof! The thought of math used to literally put me in tears, but Anna knows how to teach in a way that can help anybody. Take it from someone who used to suffer from severe anxiety when it comes to math, you won't be sorry taking any class with her! She's the absolute best.

Best math teacher I've ever had!! This class isn't an easy A... but go to class, do the work, take notes and study and you'll do just fine. MAKE SURE TO DO THE HOMEWORK. I messed up and got lazy, it ended up dropping my A to a B. She's sweet, funny, and kind of sassy. Most importantly she's a really great teacher that makes it easy to learn.

Honestly for easiness I would have given an 5 but I think that was just for me because I kinda knew most of the stuff from highschool and had a great study setup. She was an awesome teacher who made math fun for me and I enjoyed her class. Had normal quizzes to make sure you knew your stuff which I appreciated and had group tests before big tests

Excellent professor and person in general! Makes learning a challenge but not impossible. Strict grader! Doesn't have a lot of office hours... but is available by email. Also has great tutors. Overall if you want to you will learn a lot of math and be very well prepared to take on future math classes. Make sure you go to class! Easy to fall behind.

Anna Parmely is a great instructor that makes learning the material easier than expected. Attendance is mandatory, plus if you skip class you probably won't learn the material and will fall behind quickly. The tutors in the class are very helpful. Sit in front, do your homework, and most definitely show up for an Easy A/B.

One of the best teachers of all time! I loved her 95th math class, and I am very happy to have chosen her class because math class is a very difficult subject in itself, but some teachers with their teaching method make it seem more difficult than it really is.

Anna Parmely is a great professor! She explains everything very clearly and makes the class enjoyable. The homework is online using ALEKS so you don't really use the textbook unless you use it for reference; I went the whole semester without it. She does expect you to keep your class binder organized.

I'm only a week into the class, but I can already tell it'll be a good experience. I'm taking the class online, as a refresher before taking Intermediate Algebra later in the summer, and if all goes well.. trig or pre-calc in the fall. If you have questions, just reach out to her. She's really responsive and encouraging. SBCC hired a good one!

Best math class I have ever taken, and I used to hate math. The online course was organized really well - I always knew what I was supposed to be doing that week. It's not easy, but there were helpful reviews for every exam and lots of chances to improve my grade. Anna was really responsive when I had questions - I would highly recommend!

Take this class if you can. Anna has video lectures that are crystal clear - she is super supportive in office hours and responsive to emails. If you hate math take this class. Anna is incredible, she presents the material so clearly and cares about her students. TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Super organized and flexible math assignments. very generous on grading and late work. It was HARD to get a low grade in this class, and I am a C average student

Her class is simple and she's very straight forward. I took Math 114. Has a few extra credit opportunities throughout the course. Her class used the ALEKS program.

Take this class! I have never been good at math and failed it in HS but I actually did well in this class. Anna really wants you to pass, she has a tutor and the program she uses makes sure you learn the material. Many extra credit assignments. 3 exams and 1 final but if you don't do well on one exam, your final replaces that grade. Amazing class!!

Was pretty easy does have a lectures what does clarify what is being learned that week. Does have a textbook but I have never used it. Have lots of test and three midterms and the final. I would definitely take this class again.

Prof. Parmely was easy to talk to and would reply within a reasonable time when emailed and was always very encouraging. She herself was not difficult, but the class as a whole is very well planned out and the syllabus was defined. LISTEN to the lectures, take lots of organized notes and put in the effort and you will be ok. Recommend!

Shes a good teacher! shes great at communicating and shes very approachable. You can ask her something that youre unsure about and she will help you without making you feel bad about it. She also explains certain math topics well and shes patient for those who dont understand certain topics.

Professor Parmely is the best math teacher at SBCC. Her grading is the best, you can take quizzes as many times and you can take unit tests twice! She dropped my lowest quiz and unit test score at the end of the semester which saved my grade! I highly recommend her class!

Very nice and helpful teacher but the course had 3 midterms, 1 of which was the week before finals which just did not make sense. The work leading up to the midterms was also a lot. Overall the course was fairly easy and she was a really nice teacher

Professor Parmely is the best math professor I've ever had. She's so caring of all of her students and truly wants everyone to succeed. All of her exams are open note w/ a calculator + several extra credit opportunities. All quizzes can be retaken an unlimited number of times too. If you've had trouble in math before, she is wonderful!!!

Fantastic teacher & class. Anna is kind, approachable, and easygoing; her administration skills could use some work and she can be slow to grade, but she always follows through & is open to questions. Does her best to connect with & help every level of student—very relaxed coursework with an understanding, sweet teacher. Couldn't recommend higher!

Professor Parmely is a caring instructor who genuinely wants her students to succeed. The class has a lot of flexibility - you can retake quizzes unlimited times and the final can replace a low exam score. unstuck ai was a helpful study tool alongside the open-note exams.
