Awesome professor! She really knows her stuff and makes class light and fun. She takes time to make anatomy videos with us in class so we can study at home even if it means staying with us after class gets out. Overall I would recommend her if you want a professor that is hands on and really interacts with her students!

GREAT TEACHER! overall, physio is a tough subject so you have to study hard anyways, but she makes the material easier to understand. Very helpful and answers all of the class's questions. Learned more from attending her class than going to lecture. Pretty much used her lecture as a supplement for lecture professor. Whenever she was asked a question she always made sure you understood. As for the person complaining about her not willing to answer questions, maybe that person asks irrelevant or personal questions. NO ONE CARES!

Super helpful and passionate about making sure her students understand. She always has little stories or fun facts that make class more interesting. Loved her so much, most of her Anatomy students are taking her for Physiology too. I would definitely recommend this professor!

Annamarie is a unique and talented professor who demonstrate confidence as well as knowledge. She is very passionate in educating her students and will assist any that seeks her help. Hard class and quick pace but she goes out of her way to give you everything you need to do well. Answers emails very quickly and is engaging during lecture. Great teacher and I learned a lot but glad to almost be done with the class!

Awesome teacher! She was very fair in her grading and gave you plenty of opportunities to boost your grade. It's impossible to fail her lab quizzes if you don't PUT THE TIME INTO IT. She knows Anatomy requires a lot of time and effort but she does her best to make it easier. Take her! You'll learn a lot and people who complain are lazy slackers.

Lab is easy study videos off of the Facebook page. Lecture tests are HARD review notes before coming to class to know what she's talking about. Print out lecture power point notes.

Better be freshened up on your general biology otherwise you WILL struggle through this class. She is tough, but fair. VERY Thankful she gave enough extra credit otherwise 3/4 of the class would have fallen below a C. Be prepared, read your chapters ahead of time and don't loaf. Absences will hurt your grade.

Super helpful professor and adorable! Although the class is extremely hard and time consuming she does everything in her power to help you. During labs she'll walk around and see if u need help. Pick good partners for lab. Study the slides because she tests on that more than the book but reading helps.

I had a great time in her class! She's very relatable and easy to talk to. For people who don't do well, it's bc they didn't put in the time! she goes the extra mile by being there for students in person & by email. The FB group helps too! I worked 30 hours a week and still got an A so it's possible! Just don't be lazy honestly.

She's tough, but you will learn if you ask questions, participate and memorize them body parts. I had no Bio Classes before this and worked my butt off. Glad to have passed it. Professor C. is great!! Loved this class!!!

Great teacher for human anatomy. The course in general is very difficult but she does a pretty good job teaching the subject and is more than happy to anwser any questions you have. She teaches a little bit of physiology when she teaches which makes it a walk in the park when you take physiology. If you want to get an A;Do the work and don't Slack!

Annamaria has been the most devoted teacher i've had at Goldenwest. She really goes the extra step to be as available as possible for students. This class is HARD, and that is unavoidable but she really breaks it down to make it as comprehensive as possible. She is a wonderful teacher and seems to enjoy what she is doing, which makes it enjoyable

I honestly never had a professor like Annamaria. She was one of the most enthusiastic and passionate professors. She really cares for her students. Her class is difficult, but she gives you lots of points to get a B easily. An A requires lots of studying, but definitely possible. Take her for lab too! She is even better in lab.

Annamaria is an awesome professor. My interest in BIO was slight to start with, but after taking her class, I really loved it. I took this class in the summer and it was brutal. I lived and breathed anatomy for those 6 weeks. My advice is to study study study. After that, it's a piece of cake. If you can, take her for lab too.

Awesome teacher!!! It is a hard class, but she makes it so much fun and interesting. Make sure you stay on top of assignments, a little here and there of points make all the difference. Do ALL the extra credit (she will give plenty). What you should remember: take good notes, record lectures, videos and photos as much as possible, make friends!

Very good professor who knows how to teach the material, of which there is A LOT! This class is overwhelming, so I suggest not grouping it with other hard classes in a semester. if you have a camcorder, you should bring it to lab as you will most definitely be recording her lectures for study material. Her voice can wear on you, very shrillhigh.

she is a great lecturer! she is def not boring or monotone. you must study!!! there is a lot of information to study so you must work hard for your grade. i made a mistake of slacking a little hence my A went to a B+ which i regret. highly suggest recording lectures and printing out powerpoints so you are not busy taking notes and can follow along

Annamaria is an amazing teacher as well as person. Anatomy is a hard subject but she makes it so much fun and interesting. Expect to put a lot of work in this class but she will be there for you. Lots of extra credit. Have a positive attitude and make friends, it will work to your advantage. Take pictures of everything and record lectures.

This class will challenge and inspire. Prof really cares and helps you along, but you have to work for it too. Tough subject but prof does her best to bring concepts to life. Peppy and thorough. Funny and down to earth. Demanding. You will get the grade you deserve. Work hard! Extra credit available. Would definitely take her again.

She is a good teacher and has a great personalitiy. Approachable and gives extra credit. Do not skip class, she gives pop quizes but they are not hard.

Took this during the summer (six weeks course). Very intense but worth it. If you want an A, do her objective sheets for every chapter correctly and know it inside out, take all of the pictures and record her videos in lab, do all assignments. 5 lab and 5 lecture tests with essays, four lab quiz, alot of chapter online hw, and 4 essay length hw.

Took her over the summer, it was very brutal. I was literally breathing and dreaming about anatomy. She makes you LEARN, so expect to put effort into the class. You will be impressed of how much you will leave that class increasing your knowledge. She is an amazing teacher that knows how to pass her knowledge to the students. Very helpful! TAKE HER

What an amazing teacher. I learned so much in this class and would have preferred her for lecture. Instead I got Wang. Not a good Idea. Hes not that good. Stick with her lecture and lab, work hard, and you'll learn so much and get a good grade. And shes funny. Highly recommend;-)

There's a lot to learn in a short amount of time but Annamaria goes over everything clearly so all her students understand the content. She makes lecture interesting too! Only used the online textbook for the weekly hw quizzes (5 pts each) Not a hard class as long as you study and prepare for the exams. Don't slack and you can get an A!

I loved Annamaria's Anatomy class! She breaks everything down into its elements in order to build a grand scheme of concepts. Very relatable to students because she is young and has traveled the course that many students are currently following. Very helpful! Ask her anything! She's also funny and makes the lectures fun! Her test are stupid-hard but lab exams are easy if you study. She forces you to study in lab so you know it for the test. Take videos of the models and watch them over and over again and you will pass. As for lecture, do the provided study guides and make sure you study them well because she tries to trick you. Put in the work and you'll get an A

I had Annamaria for lab, so I don't know how she is in lecture. Annamaria cares a lot about her students and is always willing to help!! The TAs were so funny and sweet. As for the material, it's A LOT. Do NOT slack!!! Lab is easy compared to lecture, get that high A in lab because it's all memorization! Just take out the time for it!

Great professor, cares about the success of her students, even after the course. Will go out of her way to help you if you put in the effort. The class material isn't too difficult, what makes it difficult is the amount you need to know. Overall, one of the hardest classes I've taken, but I really enjoyed it. You know those teacher thats like a big sister to you? Annamaria is like that. Shes young, she understands and she cares deeply. She may come off as a pushy person in making you work, but arent we in college to expect that? Don't be lazy and don't be scare to work hard in her class. I had her for anatomy lab and i loved it! She knew what she was doing. She paced herself perfectly for the whole class to follow. I dont remember how many quizzes there are but there is a class quiz at the end of the semester (super easy). She was very informational and I learned a lot from her. Definitely would take this class again. Shes amazing!

I loved her class. It was really hard, but she made it very interesting. She has phenomenal teaching skills. While the class is difficult and there is a lot to do, she makes it very clear what she expects from you and if you put in the time you will be fine. But no not expect to slack off and get by. She truly wants you to do well and helps you.

Ohhh hey guys... Hands down one of my favorite teachers of all time! I loved her lectures (record them!) Annamaria does a wonderful job explaining the material, she draws out a lot of pictures and charts which if you're a visual learner like me is great. For the test DO THE STUDY GUIDES (and review it!) and go over L3 objectives, you will get an A.

She seems to really love teaching which makes the class enjoyable and fun but that doesn't mean she makes th class easy. Definitely makes you work for it but helps you out anyway she can. First class I have taken where I felt like I have actually learned something for the long term. Lots of work but worth it. Loved her.

She is an amazing professor who wants every student to succeed but you have to put in the work, a lot of work! Her exams are very objective as long as you do the study guides and study! Unfortunately I did not have her for lab but there is a Facebook page that students can upload videos of her going over lab material, extremely helpful.

It is a difficult class and requires lots of memorization so be prepared to study. I suggest coming to class with the study guide printed out already. Her tests are based off of her power points.

Best professor I've had in college. Tries her best to instill good habits such as time management. The class itself has a lot of memorization but also has application. Best to understand the material. She guides you throughout the course and provides you with all of the necessary tools to pass.

A little heavy in learning all materials; but this professor helps you out. she is so patient, helpful, and willing to help as you need it. Anatomy is NOT the easiest class, but she makes it easier for you to understand. If you are serious about the medical field, then work your ass off now, so life will be MUCH easier for you in the future. Do not take the lab and lecture the same day, too much anatomy for your brain in one day! Pick your lab groups wisely & don't slack off. AMAZING!!

I'm so beyond happy I took this professor she truly loves and enjoys teaching and wants all of her students to do well. Do all the work given also read and you will do well. Pay attention during lecture because she is very great at explaining the topics. If you're a nursing major looking to take anatomy she is the best of the best!!!!

She was the best teacher I've ever had. Lots and lots of material to cover and remember so if you miss class you may be screwed. She is very passionate about this subject which makes it great for us as students because you feel like you are actually learning something useful. Take her discussion course as well! One of the best professor on campus. She is very knowledgable about this subject and makes learning very easy to understand by giving out a lot of examples and does a lot of drawings. She gives you everything you need in order to pass and succeed. However you must want the A in order to get it and lots of studying!! If I can I would take her again.

I took her lab class for fall semester of 2019. She is a great lecturer and you learn a lot through her labs. She grades really well on the labs, is well spoken, funny, and nice! She wants the best for her students and shes very helpful in explaining questions. A lot of students ask questions in her class, so be prepared to keep your hand raised.

Annamaria is by far one of the greatest Professors on campus. She does an amazing job checking up on students after every exam. She tries her best to have everybody succeed, but only the students who put in after-hours (20)+ to study are the ones who succeed. If you don't understand anything just ask her. She's more than willing to help out.

I would leave class every day amazed at how much I know. She knows a TON about anatomy and is amazing at presenting the mater. Easily the best teacher I have every had!

Annamaria was the beast instructor I have ever had. This class is hard yall!! You have to show up to all of the classes! Do all of the study guides and study them! I went into Annamarias office twice a week and she is always willing to help and walk you through anything you need step by step. She is very organized and she knows her stuff. TAKE HER!

I have been going to GWC for 3 years now, and this professor is definitely my favorite so far. Especially during this pandemic, we need more professors like her. Not only is she fantastic at teaching, but she is incredibly caring, understanding, helpful, and not to mention, funny. She even recommended a really great book to me the first day! 10/10

Class was online but she was awesome. Exams were heavy but bearable. Make sure to come to her review zoom sessions where she will review all of the important concepts that will be on the exams. Human anatomy is a difficult class but she takes time to break it down so you can understand. As long as you put in effort, you will have no problem at all!

She is great, she is there for you, and has numerous ways for discussing everything for you, but unless you have 60 plus hours a week, this class is tough, and the material is fast. Most do not pass. Do not take any class but this one, and you will be fine, I thought I could do all my classes, all 5 and this is the only one I could not pass.

Professor Annamaria is an awesome teacher. Anatomy is not easy, but she provides you with resources and gives you leveled objectives to be successful in the exam. Study the leveled objectives on every chapter slide, they make up 99% of the exam. Put in the work and effort, and you will do well.

Really great professor that is passionate about teaching and anatomy! I am glad to have taken the class with her. There is a learning curve in finding the best way to learn in class but once you do, it will be such a great learning experience. As with any class, trust the process and give effort!
