Britt is a terrible lecturer. Even more so, she seems to have an unbelievable amount of trouble creating multiple choice questions with one correct answer. Often her class and test questions will be worded horribly and seem like they have multiple correct answers.

Drops a midterm, HUGE CURVE in the end. Her lectures are repetitive and basic versions of the concepts but the test questions can be phrased weirdly at times, and also uses "two of these answers are correct" sometimes. Dont bother studying the book, just memorize her lectures and you'll be fine since the curve balances the weirdly phrased questions

SHE LOVES CATS. Basically learned more about cats than I did about biology. 99.9% of all tortoise shell cats are female. The other .1% are males due to mutation. Expect 99% of all punnet squares to be about cats. Got an A.. probably because I have 3 cats.. (and because her class is really not that difficult. . memorize slides for great grade!)

For a student who did not take AP Bio prior to the course, she was terrible - went too fast one very slide assuming we understood every concept. Material was so dense, but she failed to thoroughly explain each concept. Confusing lectures; she knows her stuff but poor teaching style. Advice: study the lecture slides not the book.

She was a horrible lecturer. She seriously squeezed in like over 40 slides in a 50 min class. She says "don't memorize this and that.." but she LITERALLY reads everything off her slides word for word without clarifying it any further. The clicker scores obviously showed that students weren't understanding anything in lecture.

Dr. Britt is a very good teacher, given an AP Bio base. if you haven't taken AP Bio, open up a study book and learn. The lectures are based on the basis that you have some good AP Bio foundation. Other than that, if you read her slides before and after the lecture and then before the exams, you should breeze through.

She's a nice person, but she can't teach. The content wasn't that hard, but her slides were disorganized and confusing. Fortunately, TAs are great and can explain things clearly (tbh, better than the professor...)

Her lecture slides were not easy to follow, & did not have thorough explanations. Lectures are not recorded, so attendance is important. Discussions were very helpful, and the TAs were great. Tests were multiple choice and not too bad, but some tested content was barely mentioned in class or on the slides. You get a cheat sheet for each test.

Her teaching style would have been amazing if she didn't have disorganized slides and lectures. I would never take her again. I tried way too hard to get the grade I did and remember nothing. Most of my grade is from memorizing her past Q's from Quizlet and the practice provided.

we literally got 1 cheat sheet front and back on midterms and 3 pages front and back on the final. these were super helpful so like stop complaining yall. yeah she is a mid teacher, but she is nice and her test questions are similar to old practices. you just have to put in some work and self study like any other class.

mandatory attendance, her lectures slides are very cluttered and messy. this is generally a self-study kind of class ngl, but her exams are actually very straight forward if you can get around the material. utilize as many resources as you can. she lets us use one page of notes for each midterm, and three pages for the final.

A bad lecturer and putting tons of contents into lectures. Be ready to study a lot if you have no foundation in biology basic. The test is all MCQ which is a bit crazy but the one-page note is great and supar helpful. The final allows even more cheet sheet of three. The class barely have a curve for A and B and this make the course tougher.

Britt's slides suck and are very messy. Lecture's are hard to sit through, and half the stuff on the midterms aren't covered on the slides.

She packs her slides with so much information that you can't even keep up, doesn't know how to explain anything and taught out of order so nothing made sense. Only way I passed was TA review sessions otherwise I would've failed. Take literally anyone else for your own sanity.

Worst experience ever, if you can somehow get out of taking this teacher make sure you do, Britt's lectures were terrible, when it comes to teaching things that actually were on the test she was no help at all. If you are unfortunately damned with taking this class attend every lecture review! They are the only thing that will actually help you.

Wasn't horrible, I passed. The lecture slides are overwhelming, 50+ slides per lecture. Assistants office hours and midterm reviews taught me more than in class. Take advantage of office hours and put the work in. 3 midterms, lowest grade dropped. This quarter the cutoff grade was lowered 3%. Beware, canvas grade is not your actual grade.

Avoid if you can. Worse than Maldonado. Lectures are all based on analogies, actually learning the content was impossible. I had to watch amoeba sisters and ochem tutor to learn anything she “taught.” You get 3 cheat sheets on the final and 1 per midterm (there's 3). Good luck if you have no other choice (you can do it still it's just hard)

Knowledgable, but moves through packed lectures too fast. Information on lectures was accurate for exams - but theres just SO much info. The cheat sheets for each exam helped so much. Lot of participation work. I lowkey prefer Maldonado, just for pacing.
