Excellent Instructor. Her nickname is "Dragon Lady", but she is very fair and you will learn a lot. She is a math genius and very willing to help if you are having problems. Highly recommend.

Anne was AMAZING. I often told her in class that she should teach elementary or middle school kids. If she did, everyone would understand math. I have never gotten an A in a math class before. Until Anne was my teacher. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for ANY LEVEL of MATH. She is a GENIUS!!!!!

Anne is nice, but if you have taken alge. in high school then class is boring. Class goes slow, but she is very helpful. Ask lots of ?'s but sometimes she will tell you to talk to her in math lab. Highly recommend taking her.

Anne is an excellent teacher, she will go over and over concepts until she thinks the light bulb may have come on. She makes you feel at ease which is very important in any class. I highly recommend her.

Okay first off she's very pretty! Secondly, she is a wiz at math but does not have that kind of personality that makes you feel dumb for not knowing how to do math. She works hard in class to teach you and even harder in the lab to help you get what ever you are having a hard time with. Over all, she's a great teacher!

I wish so much she was teaching calc III next semester or Diff EQ I would kill to take her classes again. Incredibly fair and so much fun to talk to! She is real cool. We don't turn in our homework but she does explain things we don't understand on our homework. When you take her test you gotta know ur stuff.

I took the combined begining math and intro to algebra class. I can't put into words how much I miss her as my teacher!!!! If it is at all possible to take a teacher at TCC make it Anne!! Helpful easy and funny!! I loved this class and never missed even though it was 8:30 in the morning!!!!! Enroll as fast as you can!!!

I took her honors college algebra class. Since I took Calculus in high school I already knew the material. I went to class only when I felt like it. She bases your attendance on when you log onto Mymathlab.com. All homework was done online. We had two powerpoint projects that were challenging at times but nothing impossible. I made an A.

people say she is easy, well thats true to some extent but if you are struggling in math it is not so easy

Very nice professor. All material is explained in detail. Teaches math 'the long way' so you understand how the shortcuts taught in middle school make sense. Very patient! Will go over problems several times so that they are understood completely. Best math professor ever!!! I will be taking her class in the future.

She is a great teacher, she will do everything she can to make sure you understand the material....make sure you do all your homework on time and you will do good in the class. Even though I got a D in the class I learned more in this class then any other math class yet.

Anne is an amazing teacher and I couldn't be happier that she was my teacher. I had not taken a math class in 11 yrs and 13 since algebra, but I still passed with a B. I should have studied more for tests so it's my fault I didn't have an A. Anne is incredibly helpful and even did extra study periods outside of class for those of us that needed it!

This class is good if you are struggling in math. No textbook usage, we use mymathlab.com, it's a very easy program to use if youre not computer savvy. I am forgetful in math, so this is an awesome class for someone who is average or below average in math.

She is a very good professor... doesn't overload you with homework and if you are having problems with homework she will go over it in class. Tests are easy if you do the study guide which is the same problems with the numbers changed and she has a variety of class work so she doesn't just stand up there and lecture.

Homework program in this class is awesome. She also helps fill in missing holes, things you weren't taught in high school or just didnt get in high school. Amazing teacher.

Excellent teacher! Very enthusiastic about Math & makes it easy to understand! All homework is on My Math Lab, her reviews basically are the test, just different problems. If you show up to class and do your best she will do anything she can to help you! Don't waste $ on the book, you won't need it. I wish she taught College Algebra!

Anne is a good teacher, however sometimes she teaches/works problems in a way that some students haven't been taught in high school etc. It is important to keep up from day 1. DO NOT GET BEHIND.

Ms. Fischer is a demanding but caring instructor, I have nothing but respect for her and would have completed the course if not for an accident which precluded my attendance. I will be repeating the course with her as my instructor next term!

Tough teacher when it comes to grading the tests. Overall good class to take once you have taken Basic Math or straight from High School.

Anne was the most amazing professor I've had out of the numbers. She took extra time out of her late evenings to make sure I completely understood the assignments. She explains everything in great detail that is very clear. She allows one make up test at the end of the semester if you aren't happy with a grade and all homework is online.

Mrs. Fischer is the best math teacher for anyone who is not good at math or has been out of school for a while. She explains everything as basic as possible. The reviews are exactly like the test. There is a lot of homework. Take good notes and you will pass. I wish she taught Pre-calculus.

Professor Fischer really makes math more understandable. She wants her students to understand and will do her best to make it enjoyable even if the material is not. I have never enjoyed math, but this professor made it more tolerable. She uses the online course extensively, and it is easy to know what is expected of you and what/and when it is due.

Anne is very good and showing the how and why of math concepts. she really wants you to understand. There is no physical textbook, it is all online along with homework, even though this was a physical classroom setting. If you are a returning student or math in general is your worst subject, taking Math Foundations form Anne is a good move.

Professor Fischer is a great teacher. She breaks down math so even those like me who have trouble with it can understand how to work the problems. She gives you example problems during class that are exactly like the problems on the tests and tells you which ones to pay specific attention to. I would recommend her to anyone.

Anne is very helpful. She is willing to answer questions and remembers what it was like to not understand something from square one and writes out every step for you on the board if need be. When asked "why is this important?" she gives real life examples of when we would apply what we're learning to real life situations. Homework will kill you.

I loved her class! I had a 91.5 before the final and after the final I had a 94.6. 202/200 on the final, if you try you'll do fine! She will explain something over and over until everyone understands. She grades test more from work than the answer. Lots of homework but easy A on those, you can do them over and over until it is due. TAKE HER CLASS!!

Ive never been good at math always hated it. Ive taken this Professor for 3 different Math classes now. She makes it so much easier to understand and she is willing to help you until you do understand! She is amazing and I would recommend you take her for as many math classes possible! I probably wouldnt have made it through if it wasnt for her!

Took her for Math Foundations II. She was a great professor but the course required a lot of homework. It was very fast paced and test heavy. She was always there to help and had a great test review day.

If you're math literate you should have no problem passing the class, there is alot of homework every week, but its managable to get through if you make the effort. She grades on steps, not just the right answer on tests. Remebering the formula's and steps is important. Anne is the best instructor I have had, and I very much enjoyed the class.

Anne was very clear when teaching and was very patience. She explained everything so easily and was there when I needed any questions. I would definitely take her class again. I always had awful math teachers but she was, by far, the best one I ever had. You will definitely have a lot of papers at the end of the course but you will learn a lot.

Keep up with your assignments and you will have no issues. Every lesson comes with three assignments each: video, worksheet, homework. DO THE WRITTEN WORK FOR THE TESTS!! She gives you points for the written work AND boosts your test grade! Good response time to emails. Entitled to one (1) makeup exam. DO NOT PUT OFF. 5% deduction each day late.

Professor Anne was an exceptional teacher. I dropped out of high school in the 9th grade, and after 12 years of no school, she made math soo easy to learn. She is more than happy to stay with you anytime after class and responds immediately to emails. I could not have asked for a better math Professor. I learned so much thanks to her knowledge.

Very easy class, as long as you do the work, youll make an A. SHOW YOUR WORK ON THE TESTS! The actual test score is only a portion of your grade and it will make a huge difference if youre detailed in showing your work. Feedback was detailed and helpful, will take her classes again.

Absolutely loved Professor Fischer. If you struggle with math , her foundation of math 2 is the best class. Wish she taught higher math. I would take her again.

Professor Fischers math foundations 2 class was pretty easy. She is a very fair grader and gives you extra credit on exams for showing your work. The best math teacher hands down.

Really great professor! Her lectures where clear and understanding, if you had trouble on a problem she was very welcoming in helping. Some advice is to make sure to do every homework assignment and really understand the problems for the exams.

Anne Fischer is absolutely amazing. She always shows kindness and patience, which I think are so important to the experience in STEM. There is a considerable amount of homework, but it is set up in a very user friendly way with videos and worksheets. If you need a math and she is teaching it, you'd be lucky to take it!

Professor Anne was amazing, I was skeptical of this class at first because she starts at the bottom where everyone should start so if you're decent at math then this can be frustrating. She explains things very well and goes over examples of problems instead of teaching formulas. She teaches the steps and how to get there and why.

One of the best math professors of my college career. She actually cares. Ask questions if you do not understand. She will help you to understand no matter what. I am so grateful that she is one of those professors that actually cares about students succeeding. GO USE THE TUTORS!

I went through hell during the semester. She did not give me any good grades but she helped me learn the material I needed to pass during my midlife crisis, being homeless no income, financial aid taken. I still prevailed and professors like her are God sent when the devil is trying to take you out the game.

I took Professor Fischer's MATH 1613 (Trigonometry) class online. Video lectures are important, and you should take good notes. It's hard to understand trig at the start, but if you needed help Prof. Fischer was really helpful. Her supplementary vid lectures were easy to understand. She was also very generous w/ partial credit in exams (show work).

Great professor, she responds to emails pretty quickly and she gives great feedback. She also gives partial credit which is awesome. Her online lectures are pretty indepth and note taking is needed. You only need to do 3 in person tests and there pretty easy but you need to try when doing homework to understand. Overall, I recommend her class.
