Nice young woman. Very sweet to all students, doesn't call on people to answer. Gives fair tests but lots of reading to do. Very intelligent lady, likes to use SAT words.
One of the best professors at Hunter. She's sweet and good-looking, and doesn't demand much. If you're behind on your readings, you can tell her about your problem without being penalized for it.
she`s real nice. her class may be boring at times but overall it`s a go0d class. you`ll enjoy it for sure
Prof. Graziano's amazing. She's young, charming, eloquent with the English language, and very challenging when it comes to the readings. She barely calls on people, and she's very encouraging about writing and comprehension of literature. Thumbs up! =)
Very nice, intelligent and cheerful. She explain things thoroughly.
Professor Graziano is the best thing Hunter has to offer. What a woman! Her classes are interesting and informative; and she herself is very easy-going and down-to-earth. I would advise anyone to take her classes. She's superb.
PROFESSOR GRAZIANO IS ONE OF THE BEST AT HUNTER. SHE IS PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDING. SHE HELPS STUDENTS BRING OUT THEIR BEST WORK. I RECOMMEND TAKING HER CLASS DURING ANY SEMESTER. THE WORK ISN'T HARD AS LONG AS YOU KEEP UP AND ASK QUESTIONS AND PARTICIPATE
good teacher kinda boring
One of my favorite classes that I have taken at Hunter!
Shes so great that I signed up for her class next term. Shes very funny and shes the first teacher I've had who actually analyzes my writing from more than just a grammatical point of view. Shes extremely fair and understanding of extenuating circumstances. 2 big thumbs up!
If you have an opinion You pass, read the books, even the boring ones, and it home free, and if you get bored she nice to look at. Grading is fair and based on content not length. Very INtersting good mix in reading material
make sures you understand.. helps you form your own ideas about the work and supports them and not intimidate you from making your own opinions.. overall very good
Great professor. Really passionate and funny and makes the literature come alive. Definitely worth taking.
I've taken a few classes with Graziano and she's honestly my favorite professor at Hunter. She relatable and is really passionate about her work, which makes the class interesting. If you can take her class, any class she's teaching, DO IT!
Ann is a great professor. I enjoyed every minute in her class her lectures were complete and covered the readings. She seems to really be a fan of Jane Eyre. I took her a little while back before I knew of this site but she is definatly worth the extra praise. I honestly got distracted in some class sessions cause she is fn hot!
Prof. Anne not only combines the best qualitites of the 2 greatest Gilligan Island characters but gave me an appreciation for Shakespeare and poetry. She is thourough, captivating, and inspiring. She graded fairly, assigned well-balanced course readings, and conducted class in a fun way. Prof. Graziano is a genuinely beautiful human being.
Graziano enthusiastically teaches the class and endlessly spouts quotable pearls of wisdom during her lectures. Prepare to work your butt off, though, because she gives a lot of heavy reading, a presentation, a term paper, a midterm, and a final. I think that's a lot for a summer class, but the stress was worth it for her instruction.
She is a great professor and everyone should take her if you get the chance!!
She makes the class very interesting.
looked forward to going to class everytime I had it.. discussions were interesting.. readngs she mad interesting..
Prof Graziano is so sweet, porbably one of the nicest professors I have ever met. She made eng 338 fun and interesting, and she is incredibly smart, she knows what she is talkign about. Her tests are not hard, she is a fair grader, not difficult at all. i am taking her 301 class now and so far i love it.
Pay attention and you'll do well. She likes class participation. People in my class also did extra credit to help theyre grades. You do a good amount of writing, but if you like to write its pretty easy.
I love prof Graz. There aren't too many English professors who are as helpful and insightful as she was. Fair grader, very helpful and she also allowed students to rewrite their essays. 3 autobiographical essays, 3 short essay responses(based on the reading) She's pretty lenient with attendance as long as u hand in your work on time
The class was pretty cool. The works not hard at all. Just rad the material and participate to some degree and you'll do great. The papers are easy and there were NO TESTS!!! The papers mean everything, so make sure you write them. It was a great class. She's an AWESOME Professor.
If you want help with your writing, this is the class to take. Prof. Graziano is wonderful, she gives really helpful feedback on your papers, and she always finds good things to say. She's a genuinely warm person who won't ever make you feel stupid. The workshop portion of the class was also a valuable experience. I highly recommend her classes.
she is so sweet funny and caring. not too boring and teaches well. gives good feedback on paper too!
I just love her. She is incredibly helpful and patient. She is a bit weird woman but that makes her really cute. She expects you to participate in a class discussion, but that doesn't hurt your grade if you speak once a month. You wouldn't get bored in this class. Take it!
LOVE HER!!!!!! SHE'S NICE, NOT A B***H, FRIENDLY, AND TOTALLY VERY CLEAR AND HELPFUL. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE CLASS AND I WISH TO TAKE ANOTHER CLASS WITH HER HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I really like her! she is easy going and nice. She's not arrogant like other english professors. Workshop is helpful... So make sure you do it when it's yor turn. No midterm or finals =) just 3 response papers on the readings.
A must take if you are majoring in English or Writing. I learned a lot in this class without the normal pressures of a 300-level course. She is extremely nice and helps you develop your writing skills without criticism. The reading is interesting and is even more interesting when she has input. Great class, would take her again if I could. Lovely
She looks very young for her age! It could be her super extra white teeth! Anyway, she picks out the most interesting books. Expository writing, only 2 papers and no tests. I'm the quiet Korean kid on the side, but during her workshops you have to speak. Overall she's great [A++] =)
Great professor. Fun, lenient and understanding. Teaches from a great selection of authors. Very helpful comments for papers and interesting class discussions
She is great, laid-back, and just really nice. Three 500+ words response on the readings and two 6-8page autobiographical papers. They are easier then they seem at first and she returns them usually the class after. I enjoyed the reading selections. I was actually disappointed when class was canceled.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. exactly what you want a college class to be like. laid back, advantageous feedback, and overall nice woman. Hope to get her again.
prof graziano is a very nice prof. her readings are not so bad very light load of work. i def reccomend taking her class shes great
Awesome, awesome, awesome! I really can't emphasize this more! Though, I wish she did choose more interesting books for class. However, her knowledge & passion makes up for it:)
I loved her...she is funny, interesting, passionate in her work and laidback in her teaching style. She gave great feedback on papers and truly cares about how well her students write and how to improve them...One of my favorites in the English department.
very sweet and kind, very interesting class. very helpful.
Loved, loved, loved her class. She is excellent on so many levels. She spouts out these pearls of wisdom intentionally, but comes off so cool, collected, and funny. I never dreaded going to her class at all. The readings were fine especially for someone with a fulltime job. 6 one page response papers, an in class midterm, and a take home final.
Brilliant, brilliant lady! She is at the Doctorate level, but is not arrogant like other Doctors. Very approachable and offers a relaxed atmosphere. I would only take a Saturday class with her. The 2.5 hours will fly by because you will be enthralled with all the brilliant things she says.
Wonderful, wonderful teacher. Insightful, respectful, well-read. Great classroom management and relaxed, interested and interesting style. My favorite class - EVER!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Simply amazing!! She's so nice and so approachable. I wish she taught more than just Saturday courses. Do yourself a favor and take a class with her!
Awesome class, enjoyed it. She's a really nice professor and seems to love what she teaches.
I love this professor. She has her doctorate in English, but she does not talk down to her students at all. She is extremely insightful and engaging, conversations about the texts are at the heart of the class. She's very understanding and always willing to help. I wish more professors were like her. This woman is AMAZING!
I took her for eng 301 and 338. i really loved her 301 (expository writing) class. she held my interest in every class. 338 is more of analyzing longer texts than 301 but she is a great professor. she has a great sense of humor as well during classes
I have now taken 338 and 301 with Graziano and I'm still completely impressed. She is simply wonderful and approachable and really pushes you to put passion in your writing. She has an incredibly carefree personality but is able to spew pure genius when she is talking about different assigned texts. Even you are not an English major, TAKE HER!
She is an incredible professor, loved her class, sad it's over.
OMG! I absolutely hate writing but this professor changed this in me. She made me see writing in a different light. I absolutely love her. She understands that people have different ways of putting their thoughts together. TAKE HER PLEASE! EVEN IF YOU HATE ENGLISH/WRITING! TAKE!
Dr. Graziano is, by far, the best English professor I have taken classes with. She's kind, she's patient, and she is so very helpful. I've taken both ENG 301 and ENG 338 with her and I hope she teaches other classes in the future, because she is so incredible. I will miss not having Dr. Graziano and her encouraging words in future semesters.
I only have one thing to say - take her or miss out on an amazing professor.
An outstanding instructor who provides insightful feedback on your work and whose praiseworthy communication skills will never cease to amaze, Graziano sets the bar high for exemplary teaching capabilities. This course will henceforth have a profound impact on both my academic career and my personal life, and I highly recommend ENGL 301 to all.
Professor Graziano is the sweetest professor I've ever had. She goes out of her way to help students, before and after class. Her assignments are very clear. She allows students to have their own opinions. She's a gem. I would recommend Professor Graziano to everybody.
She is one of the most amazing professors that I have ever had at Hunter! She is truly a remarkable professor that makes you feel welcome, even on Saturdays. I'm glad that she made the class a close-knitted community. I got to know so many of my classmates! I'm going to miss not having her class! Please take her! If not, I will gladly (I wish)!
She's such a great educator. Very clear grading criteria and pretty lenient grader. Her lectures Involve discussions and she makes dry literature pretty interesting.
Beautiful and intelligent! She is so enthusiastic and upbeat, she makes class time fly by, especially since her commentary on class readings is so brilliant! The workload isn't heavy - she assigns five response papers and there are six books to choose from and she also offers extra credit opportunities. There is one large paper due at the end.
Great teacher, adorable personality. Will take again if the opportunity arises!
I took Early Survey British Lit. It was good, solid class. The grading system saves you if you're an English major with other classes. You get two weeks to respond to the work. She is a tough grader, but easygoing and cares if the class is interested or not; engaging. Superfluous lecture notes.
10 page essay to work on semester, broken up into two parts. Reasonable homework and amount of time to do both drafts, you get great feedback on everything and spend at least 5 classes peer reviewing, which was quite beneficial. Intelligent and engaging professor that is easily accessible and truly cares, one of the best at Hunter!!!!!
Very easygoing and relaxed classes. If you have the opportunity to take a class with Ms. Graziano, DO it! She's very laid back and willing to help you if you need it. She is sometimes tough on grading the papers, but you'll end up getting a good grade as long as you follow the exact structure that she wants.
She is a great professor, even though I haven't been going to class. I did pretty well with her class, however, I wish I had done better if I went to class cause I would be able to pay attention and participate more. I will take her again for a writing intensive class.
I absolutely loved her class and I'm sad it's over. Professor Graziano is very detail-oriented, gives great feedback, and is absolutely fair in her grading. I wish more professors were like her. If you have the chance, please take her--you won't regret it. She was great and lighthearted! I hope I can take another class with her in the future.
This is my final year at Hunter and I can easily say there is no Professor that I have ever met like Professor Graziano. She is knowledgable, clear, a good teacher and has a presence during classes. She explains the ideas clearly and extremely well organized. That is what Hunter should look like! Just take her class and you will not regret it.
Professor Graziano is a real gem. Her grading is more than fair, and she gives great feedback. If you can take her, definitely do.
Anne really seems to care about her students and the materials she teaches. I would highly recommend her classes.
Probably my all-time favorite professor at Hunter! Lectures were always fun and interesting, and you could really see her passion and how brilliant she is. Lots of encouragement for students to jump in and talk too. Great feedback that felt so genuine and encouraging! Professor Graziano could teach a class on paint drying and I'd fight to take it.
Prof. Anne Graziano is an experienced, intelligent, and caring professor. She pays attention to all the students and leads class discussions in a productive way as well as provides creative space for the students' writings. Her structures of assignment is smart that the students do not have heavy burden to hand in the assignment. She is amazing!
Professor Graziano is an amazing educator and an amazing human being. She deeply cares about her students. Her lectures are amazing and inspirational. Best professor at Hunter! Take her or miss out... big time!
Awesome professor! You will not regret taking her classes.
She was amazing! She truly cares for her students and was always available to talk to!
This is one of the best professors I've had the pleasure to take at Hunter. This class is unlike any English class I've ever taken. The books picked for this class were very interesting and worth reading! Prof. Graziano gives amazing feedback and is a very fair grader. I would highly recommend this class to anyone.
Professor Graziano is sweet, funny and caring! She was very understanding and did not have any problems answering questions to clear up any confusion. The textbooks were required but they were really interesting. She is a fair grader and just wants people to participate. Absolute gem she was!
Listen, I dropped her class, but not because of her. However, her only fault is she is a bit boring. Not as a person or with the material, but more so she is soft spoken and goes on and on. She is incredibly intelligent and well-rounded with AMAZING feedback. I would say TAKE THIS CLASS SERIOUSLY, BUT NOT ON SATURDAYS English majors would love her.
The best english professor I have taken in my college career
I took Prof. Graziano for ENGL 301 and 320. She was amazing for both classes! Although I wasn't as on top of my attendance as I should have been she communicated that it's best to always let her know if you are having any difficulties. She was understanding and allowed late work. Just be sure to keep up with the readings and do the work!
Professor Graziano was very supportive and offered really constructive feedback. She also made it very comfortable and safe to share my work in workshop. Absolutely great instructor, and she's very sweet.
This class was a great way to be introduced to books I would have probably never picked myself. The professor was very knowledgeable, a very fair grader, had interesting insights into the works, and seemed to really care for us to get the most out of the readings. Always helpful with questions and problems. Awesome teacher, take her class.
If you want to work on writing as exploration or self expression take this class. Professor Graciano give supportive and insightful feedback and is sweet and kind when your struggling. Highly recommend
I took English 301 with professor Graziano, although I was not looking forward to a Saturday class, she made every Saturday enjoyable. Graziano made the class fun and interactive, and it's very obvious that she likes what she does. I learned a lot and I 100% recommend her.
One of the best professors in the game. Professor Graziano is like bell hooks if she were white and addicted to coffee. Plus, as long as you turn in your Part A and B on time, you get 100% for each. It doesn't have to be perfect or even complete. Then, you do workshop, which helps with your final A+B. The class is easy, fun and insightful.
Favorite part was that every week, we needed to hand in a hard copy of two questions we should discuss in regard to that week's reading. I LOVED, getting my hard copy questions back from the week before back with "Great Work (Name)!!! ++" written on the paper. I would watch when she handed back our papers to my peers and would catch little smiles.
LOVE HER! Honestly wish she taught more classes at Hunter, I took her 301 class last fall semester and it was quite honestly inspiring. She truly motivates you to want to get better, especially if you're an English literature major. Im now currently taking her 320 Saturday class, which I was glad to have found out she was teaching this semester.
Great professor, gave amazing lectures and gave good feedback on your work
