Mrs. H is the absolute best Math teacher hands down. She makes the material easy to learn with cool stories and different ways of remembering the info. She has a great sense of humor and makes MATH class fun...go figure.

She does keep me awake. I have a reading class that put me to sleep, but when i enter her class, i am awaken by her loud remarks about the person who wrote the math book, and her crazy stories. You can actually say she is my # 1 math teacher at this point in time.

Awesome teacher. Goes over any problem you didn't get on the homework. Has mini quizzes at the beginning of most classes. After that, you can leave after your grade it or at break, don't need to be there for anything else. Goes over concepts multiple times to make sure you understand. Very helpful.

Dr. H is one of the best teacher's I've had in my scholastic career! She talks fast and it's sometimes difficult to keep up and take notes, but she's always willing to help clarify material and make sure you understand what she's talking about. Homework is graded based on completion. She's gives weekly quizzes that generally involve homework questions. Tests aren't easy, but aren't ridiculously difficult. She teaches b/c she loves teaching, and it shows in how she relates to students.

As if Dr. H needed a better review. I love Dr. H. I have struggled in math a lot, and it was never my subject. I dreaded going to math. But ever since I've had Dr. H no lie I look forward to going to her class. She always helps you in class or out. She wants to helo you to pass and literally does anything to help you. i love her, she's so cute and hyper. it is calculus so of course the class isn't easy, study and read the book that's how i did well in the class. go to her office hours she explains the material a lot better through one-on-one sessions. she tells you what to study for the tests and really helps her students pass. recommend!

Great professor. First day I thought she was a bit tyrannical and was pretty turned off by that. Despite first impressions I have taken the last three math classes with her. She is very helpful and explains things in lecture very well. Biggest advice: DO THE HW WHEN IT IS ASSIGNED. Wish she taught 185. Go to her office hours if you need help!

her class is extremely difficult, it has a very high drop rate because of its difficulty. However, she is one of the best math teachers at SCC, if you are willing to work hard, do ALL the homework, and show up to class, you will definitely get an A or B. She really cares about her students who try, and you should succeed if you prioritize her class

I love Dr. H. I took her for three math classes over the course of four semesters and as an English major, I could not have made a better choice. Dr. H is funny, brilliant, and always there to help you out. Her lectures are clear, helpful, and a little fast-paced, but she just gets really excited. All test questions are generally from previous HW.

Dr. H is the most charismatic teacher. She is very good at explaining difficult math subjects to her students. Math 105 may look very hard but with Dr. H's guidance, it won't be. She would go over all the homework questions in the beginning of class and she would give her students a short quiz at the end of the week.

You should be doing the assigned homework everyday because she usually gives a quiz where the homework answer is a question (you can use your HW on quizzes). She is a little different than your average math teacher. She is quirky and loud. I like the way she teaches though. Very clear and step by step. Alot of hw and quizzes. You do many example problems in which she puts those on your quizzes. I honestly only studied maybe 6 hours a week and passed with a B. MUST BE IN CLASS AND DO HW TO PASS though

College is crazy but every now and then you get a professor that is so passionate and determined to help their students succeed. For me that professor was Dr. H. I have never connected with a professor so well and even when I had questions I was afraid to ask she was incredibly approachable and understanding. I'd take her for all math if I could.

Best professor for math I have ever had by FAR. She is so very helpful and just really cares about her students education and learning. The exams are not hard as long as you studied for them, assigns reasonable amount of homework. She uses notes that you have to buy for $10 at the book store which are very helpful to use to study for exams.

I took her math 171 during fall semester. She is the nicest prof ever that I have seen. Her class isnt easy but she will help you a lot if you ask her. Even thought I am an international and still leaning English, but thanks to her that helped me a lot, I passed the class! I highly recommend her class!

I wasn't used to being on a physical campus due to being at an online school for five years and she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable in her class.

Best Math teacher I've ever had super caring and funny. Went to her office hours weekly and she's super chill and do the homework with you and will pick up that your showing effort. But the class is pretty difficult it is a lot of stuff framed into a semester you have to be prepared to work pretty hard in order to get an A or a B but she is great!
