An online class that is easy, but don't expect much help from the instructor. My advice would be to complete all assignments early. This was by far my least favorite class! The video lectures are beyond long and boring! even if you write down word-for-word you still will get a horrible grade. Not with the time or $!

This is the worst class EVER. The teacher is soooo lazy, she has TAs, that do all the work, such as email you and all grades(including papers) the TAs are really UNFAIR graders, they think they are cool, and give bad grades.Anne doesnt give you the timeof day, and if you mess up, forget about it. this is supposed to be INTRO to art, NOT ART level5

Class was pretty miserable. The teacher is very unresponsive to emails and the material that is supposed to be learned from the videos is never clear. The quizzes given are terrible and she gets very emotional when someone in the class isn't doing very well. I'd recommend not taking it for an "easy A", it's the worst easy class ever.

The videos for this class were so boring to watch and they were also very long. She was also very unapproachable when asked about questions or content. Finally she removes the videos before the final and does not tell you she is taking them off so make sure you take notes!

I found the class to be easy but I did have to work at it. Detailed notes from both the book and her lectures are key in receiving good grades on papers and test. I loved the class because I am an Art History major, but I think that those who are only a little interested in art will be able to do well as long as they dont mind working at it.

I'm really surprised at the negative comments! I just completed Art of the Western World with an A. No previous interest in Art. the videos are FREE online and the book was $1.00. I never used the book. Two tests, nothing else, I maybe put 4 hours into the class for the whole semester. the 2 times I needed to reach her, she was responsive and nice

I loved Anne Jeffery. She is spunky, down to earth and whats you to succeed.

Prof. Jeffrey explicitly states that if you have a question that is addressed in the syllabus or intro video, she won't answer it. You have to work for an A, but her expectations are clear, and it IS possible (I got an A). You have to take notes on the online lectures, read the text and KNOW THE DEADLINES, neither Jeffrey nor her TAs babysit you.

If you want an A do NOT take this course! There's only TWO exams the entire semester (no extra credit) and no feedback! Anne Jeffery does not care about student success! You have 3 sources to go by with little direction (videos, in text concepts, and back of book definitions) as to what is the correct answer! Do not take!
