BEST TEACHER EVER!!!

DR. McCrea relates her material to everyday life, helping her students to better understand. She likes to have fun! You don't need to buy the big pysch book cuz she gives you handouts and tests you straight from there! Take her and have a good time! :)

One of the Best. Very good, very easy to understand, if you show up for class it is a cake walk, and you retain her info very well.

first off, let me say Anne is a very nice person, very knowledgeable in psych, and she is able to relate to her students very well. that being said,your grade relies heavily on the outcome of all three testes. if you bomb one, you are in danger of failing the class

She f*ckin rocks! Go to class and pay attention, because she puts the information out there on your level, she likes it when you participate as if it were a conversation and she likes questions.

Anne is a great teacher. She's very animated, and she makes good use of humor in examples. Anne realizes which topics are boring, and which ones are not, and she makes the best of the material she is required to teach. I would definitely recommend her, and I would take another class with her as the instructor.

I took this as a DL course. Anne is absolutely the best college instructor I've ever had! She's very friendly, creative, and willing to offer assistance. The curriculum does require some studying, but it isn't excessive. The assignments are fun and allow individuality. This is definitely a great class!

She is very understanding; however, her test are SO HARD!!! You can study and study, but still get a "C." She's really a sweetheart, and will work with you, but, her tests are punitive, killers, horribly hard!

Very nice, but I agree that her tests are extremely difficult. She's very understanding though, but there aren't enough assignments given in the class. You have to do really, really well on the exams in order to pass.

She is a sweetheart! Yes her tests are hard as others say, but I've learned so much. This class is a self study class with an optional class meeting to go over material in the book. GO TO THAT MEETING TO GET AN A! It really helps you focus on what is really important in each chapter. Prerequiste for PSY 236 which is statistics.

Professor McCrea is an absolutely wonderful professor! Not only if she super intelligent but is able to convey that knowledge on to others (something a lot of very intelligent people fail to do). She has a great sense of humor and deserves many chili peppers. :) Take her drugs and behavior course and her research methods course, they are great!!

Really enjoyed this class and she was a major contributor to that. Really funny and intelligent, but not at all below helping out! Really liked her! And the tests were not horible at all, just study handout.

She goes out of her way to help you understand. She's funny! that helps when you're nervous

Dr. McCrea is a great professor. Actually show up, study the handouts and then the 3 exams are a piece of cake. Do the extra credit too (they are super easy). She was funny and made the topics VERY interesting by giving examples and her experience. Wish I could take her again :)

Great Class! She really made this interesting. Make sure to come to class you'll get alot more out of it and do better on tests. Also do the extra credit, it's really easy and worth it. Plus if you come to the majority of the classes she'll let you retake your lowest test if it can bump you to the next grade.

One of the best teachers I've had at Sinclair. She goes over the tested material with a streamlined virtuoso and gives concise, essential information on her study guides. I made an A in her class with very little study time and know that I left her class having a good, but basic, understanding of psycology. ...Uh, except spelling "psychology".

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Super cool and relaxed. She really knows what she is talking about and made class fun.

She gives you study guides which are basic outlines of her lectures. It's not necessary to attend class because the exams come from the outline, but she does a really good job explaining everything and definitely keeps you interested. She also offers really easy extra credit. I'd definitely take her again..and plan to!

Very very funny, she knows what she is talking about, made Psych fun and easy! lots of entertaining life stories in her mind. Just read the note packet she gives, and everyting will be fine. She is very liberal though, and conflicting view points don't seem welcome and are quickly put down lol. Class was fun every day.

You are one of the best teaches I have ever had in school. She makes the class fun, interesting, and I learned alot about psychology. If you have to take psy take her she is great.

Tough class. But Anne is top notch, top shelf, and the top of her game.

Dr. McCrea is a terrific instructor. She has a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgeable on her subject. Exams are multiple choice and fair (although on the difficult side). Offers extra credit work to help with maintaining a decent GPA.

Took her class online. Tests were tough - but she was a great teacher, totally involved and cares about students and their understanding of the material.

I took this class online, Professor McCrea was a nice person, just not my kind of teacher. She is very strict about discussion posts onine and i think these are what she seemed to grade the hardest, but there were also many opportunities to earn full credit. Overall, she taught a pretty good class.

she's awesome! Really takes time to explain stats. down-to-earth. there's a lot work, but if you stay on top of it, you'll do well. very fair. a+++

Amazing!

I learned more in her class--by far--than any other I've ever taken. What she taught stuck with me to this day, and I can recite her lectures (pretty much) word-for-word more than a year later. She's way, way more than just my favorite professor ever, she's one of my favorite people ever, and you would be insane not to take her. Anne, THANK YOU!

Wish I had taken her for 121. She does an amazing job getting the material to stick with you. Her lectures are actually fun to listen to. You won't be bored in her class. If you show up and pay attention you'll pass without a doubt. Book isn't necessary so don't waste your time or money. She does amazing teaching without it

Awesome prof! She is very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Shes also in a band, how cool is that? Work isn't "easy", you need to pay attention and learn your stuff, but that's what we're suppose to be doing, so no complaints!

Best instructor I have ever had, I could have taken many classes on top of hers. She gives great study guides and if you come to class your guaranteed a good grade. FUN!! and not stuck up very real

I would make Psych my major just to keep taking her!

I liked her at first but then things changed. You think you know what she is talking about when you leave class, then you do the assignment and it is wrong. Then you resub the assignment, with her feedback,what she said and it is still wrong. I think she forgets what she tells us. All but 3 people in the class got c's. The tests are horrible.

She teaches both PSY 235 and 236. She's a nice person and tries to make class interesting. The material is pretty boring though. Her feedback on homework is sometimes confusing, but she does try to help you. The tests are hard but they are all online. Go to the in-class lecture even though it's not required. You'll get a better grade if you do.

pros: easy stats, easy tests, easy to get an A or B if you at least try. cons: inconsistent, incapable of admitting/ realizing she's wrong. overall, take her. there are a lot of assignments but it's worth it in the long run.

Offers easy extra credit, tests are easy as long as you pay attention in class and study a bit. She has great character, and is funny. Relates classroom material to real-life situations, and makes things easy to understand. I wish that I could take her for all of my psych classes. Book isn't really used in class, she gives handouts.

Very excellent teacher. She makes learning easy and her outlines are a GREAT help. If you study her outlines of each chapter, you'll do just fine In the class

I took her for 121 and LOVED IT. I have her currently for 122. She is an excellent teacher. I really learn the material. The class is very easy. Only three multiple choice tests. She is such an excellent teacher. She makes class VERY fun and enjoyable.

She's a FANTASTIC teacher. Period. Best teacher i have had so far. You don't need to bring your textbook to class because she has made an outline for what's being covered in the book. If you just study the outline, come to class, and do the extra credit then you're set.

Great class. She is amazing and knows the material. It isn't just a bunch of power points taken from book. and she is a very good teacher. Sometimes gets side tracked but all'n'all great experance. Work hard and do the work and its easy to get A or B but not an easy class. You really need to stay on your game. Test aren't easy so study. SHE IS HOT

WONDERFUL! Her class keeps you engaged and interested. She is willing to help you out with anything, from studying to helping with grades. Plus she offers extra credit as well. Shes a smart lady, really knows her stuff. Oh, and you never use your book. She prints off an outline for every chapter!

Great teacher! I had her for both 2235 and 2236- she makes the material easy to understand. Don't take this class w/o statistical and psy knowledge- it isn't an easy class, but she's an awesome teacher if you have a clue what you're doing and make an effort.

I've never taken a psychology course until I signed up for Professor Anne's class. Every day she was extremely engaging and hilarious to listen to. She does an exceedingly exceptional job at explaining the complex human brain and elaborating further on lecture topics. By far she is THEE best professor I've had in my college endeavors.

Dr. AMS, is a wonderful professor. Her explanations of the concepts of statistics are so easy to understand. She makes a not so interesting subject, super entertaining. She is an impressive woman. She is the "epitome" of science, she impressed me with her knowledge and now because of her science and I are "friends". Exams are from the textbook

Loved Anne's personality and the class. Very easy class, simple homework and grading structure. Basically show up to class and pay attention. Lectures aren't too painful at all.

She understands where students are coming from. She can clarify things for students w/o talking down to them. She was extremely helpful when I didn't understand the Stats material. You get even more help when you see her in her office hours. She's not an easy A but you walk away knowing your stuff and w/ a good grade bc of her help.

I loved this class you work in groups for some assignments and all your test which I liked because two heads are better than one. She is an amazing teacher you will get an A if you show up and so your homework and test!!

AMAZING TEACHER!!! I didn't like psy at all until now, because of Anne I am changing my major, she is that inspiring and is always looking out for the best interest of the student, I have a new outlook on Psy due to her. AMAZING TEACHER AND AMAZING CLASS I like she does test in groups it helps to get more perspectives. DONT BUY BOOK DONT NEED IT!

Anne is a fantastic teacher! If you need a stats class to transfer to a 4 year college, I would recommend taking her for 2235 and 2236. You do have quite a bit of homework but she will go over how to do it in class step by step so missing class will hurt you big time. DO NOT SKIP HER CLASS! She knows her stuff and is very helpful.

Helped me learn the most out of my professors. She is great at repetition for important concepts. She has handouts for everything, which is really great for simplifying the material and getting formulas straight. Her lectures clarify the book a TON, so don't skip class. She explains all assignments thoroughly. Great if you want to transfer to WSU.

Fantastic psych class, easy to study for quizzes, in-class group assignments. Easy points as long as you put in the work! As well as there are more points for attendance. It's a good A if you appreciate the class.

She has outlines for every chapter and told us NOT to buy the book because it would not be used and it wasn't at all. There was homework every week but it's always just three questions. All you have to do is go to class for attendance and do the homework and study a little for the quizzes that she has every two weeks. Over all amazing teacher!!!

She is one of the easier psych teachers. Lecture is the first day of the week every week and then the second day is either a group paper or a test every other week. She is super fun and makes class easy and enjoyable.

One of thee hardest classes I have ever taken. A lot of HW, twice as much on exam week! Virtually, no description of assignments, making it hard to decipher what she wants, so you have to go in depth. Tough grader, online. More motivation to study. I suggest this class in person. Overall, she is a great professor and makes you really work for it.

Professor Soltysiak is probably the best professor I have ever had. So long as you do the minimal reading and go to class you will pass with an a. The lectures are well organized and enjoyable. There are quizzes every other week but if you do the things above they are no problem. I took it as an 8am and even that didn't make me want to skip.

One of the best professors Ive had! She takes a boring, intimidating subject and somehow makes it fun and enjoyable. She really makes you understand the material, and will go over it again and again. I must say, I will miss her when class is done! Her exams are easy, considering the subject, and homework isnt bad, read the book and show up!

Her syllabus accurately described how her class would be graded. I knew exactly what to expect from each week of class, there were no surprises. As long as you show up and do the homework, you'll at least get a B.

Dr. Anne is truly an excellent professor. You should totally take her.

Statistics is a tough class, but Dr. Anne is a great professor. She breaks things down so they are understandable, is willing to meet with you and work with you, provides all the information you will need to know, and figures the effort you put in to her grading.

I would definitely recommend this teacher. Although there is a lot of homework, she gives great feedback and gives you opportunities to fix your mistakes for a higher grade (as long as its turned in before due date). She really wants you to understand the concepts! Weight of her assignments and quizzes are fairly and evenly distributed.

I looked forward to going to this class all semester. It was super interesting and fun. The class was easy if you studied and completed most of the assignments. She really wants everyone to pass and seems to have passion about the subject. I would definitely take again! Thanks, Dr. Anne!

She explains everything in an easy-to-digest way and makes a boring subject fun! Not too much coursework or reading. I highly recommend her for the 2235 and 2236 courses.

I took this class online and it was very easy to follow. The work assignments were straight from the assigned reading so it was quick and easy to do. Grades come back super quick!

She was a good professor. She responds to emails in a timely matter. However, her feedback about my assignments were very vague. But overall, she was very nice and grades very quickly.

This course was very manageable. I took this online course as a junior in high school and completed it with a 93%. Each week you are given reading assignments and then required to take a quiz and an assignment. The assignments were usually around 5 questions and the answers come straight from the reading. Definitely would take again!

Took as a CCP class in high school. Consists of a bunch of reading each week, then a quiz and dropbox assignment. She grades and responds super fast, not the easy A class I was expecting though as she grades pretty harshly and seemed to be nit-picky at times but was able to raise high B to low A with extra credit at the end of the term.
