Horrible teacher. She's VERY unclear and incredibly frustrating to listen to. You'll also notice she never gives you straight answers. I don't know why the university hired her to teach!
Good person, but she really can't teach. She likes to confuse you, and then confuse you again even further when you ask a question. Could have been an easy course if taught by Keir.
awful teacher
worst kine class ever!
Better know your stuff before get into the class, otherwise you will get very confused.
I want Mosher back!
Moore is extremely nice and helpful when student TAKES INITIATIVE. True, material is not easy, hence the previouse comments.Moore tries her best to explain it in a variety of ways, including self demonstrations.
2 thumbs down
she will go the extra mile to make sure you understand the concepts, but you need to put effort into it
Decent teacher.. Not as bad as other people seemed to make her out to be, she did a good job.
Dr. Moore is without a doubt an expert in her field. however she does lack the ability to effectivly teach the material. I reccomend this class if your a GOOd self learner.
awful teaching skills. Thank god for the text book.
She seems to care about the learning of her students and tries to answer all your questions. Her lectures tend to be a bit dry though...
This is not an easy course if you aren't good at math but still put little/normal effort into learning. She knows what she's talking about and tries to make things interesting. Concepts are simplistic then built upon. However I find she has the type of voice and level of enthusiasm that can cause me to daydream (ADHD does not help)
Omg. She says uhm about 36 times each lecture. It drives me crazy. She has absolutly no presenting or public speaking skill. I hate it
If you do not have a background in physics/math dont expect to do well in this class. Her tests are not a fair representation of what she spends time on in class. She is horrible at replying to messages, she posts everything last minute, & dont count on getting extra help. She is simply not a good TEACHer. The only good thing is that she is kind.
Simply Complicated and Unclear
Horrible teachings,I can read the slides better. IT is boring, and she was suppose to post online quizzes and tell us to finish them 2 days before exam. However she still haven't post the remaining 4 online quizzes the day before my exam. Dont't take this course, or anything with her.
I thought Moore did a great job of this class. It is definitely not an easy class but it wasn't necessarily that difficult either. Shes a good teacher and her tests/exams are fair if you study.
I honestly found biomechanics really easy when she taught it. I've had other profs before and she's definitely one who knows her stuff really well. Too bad that a lot of people don't have good things to say. But students who like everything digested and don't like to think by themselves won't like her. You'll love her if you're up for the challenge
This professor convinced me that mickey mouse deserves a PhD. Utter incompetence and twisted the laws of physics and math. You can summarize a whole semester's worth of material in 20 minutes. Her visual demonstrations, although funny to watch, completely useless...easy course! Take it and get that A/A+. Dont settle for less...York made a mistake.
The course itself is difficult to grasp if you don't do your readings throughout the semester. Basically all of her lecture slides come straight from the textbook and are pretty digested for you. In general, there wasn't much concepts we had to learn, it was all either repeated or interrelated.
"Umm umm umm." Her lectures are really boring. You could literally summarize each lecture in 5 minutes but she spreads it out to 40. Tests aren't hard. It's an easy A but man it's unbelievably boring!
Dr. Moore is amazing. Her midterms are challenging but it is an easy A if you study and do the labs. The final exam was a bit random, but overall she is very friendly and approachable. I would take another course with her any day!
Physics is not an easy subject to learn in 3 months(Esp.when you have no background in it). Practicing a lot of questions outside of the classroom hours can be really helpful. Teaching physics, Esp. in such a short time frame, is also extremely difficult.Prof. Moore goes out of her way to help students and she definitely deserves more recognition.
Dr.Moore is terrific! She makes difficult concepts easy to understand and is always willing to help if you ask her. The labs are easy marks so make sure you do them. The midterms and exam are tricky, and be sure to study the theory as well as the calculations. Overall, great prof, and great course!
I liked her since the beginning of the semester! The first midterm was really easy, second wasn't impossible but it was more difficult and the exam was the hardest! brush up on your anatomy before you go into the exam is all I can say!
Very dull lectures however she occasionally says important information regarding course content. Most of the learning is doing the readings and answering questions. Lab marks are an easy boost to your mark.
Worst prof i've ever had. Boring, annoying, can't explain anything and when she tries to explain it just ends up being more confusing. If you think the content is easy, and if you did the practice questions just wait til you write the exams.confusing wording, and information learned in class does not transfer to the exam. read the textbook instead
Dr Moore is a great prof who really wants her students to do well! Her tests are more than fair and most content is taken from lec material however SA are directly from textbook so make sure to do all the questions. Some students find her hard and but they need to keep in mind that this is a 3rd course and no one is going to spoon feed them.
Worst presenting skills I've ever seen from a professor. Unclear and says UM way too much. She also takes a long time posting lecture slides. Dr. Drake is much better.
TERRIBLE
Wow! how did she become a prof? terrible presentation skills, the exams are extremely unfair. Can we have dr. drake instead? DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE UNLESS U HAVE TO!
Useless Prof
Honestly - if you listen to her online, listen at double speed. She will still be speaking slowly. Don't know how she became a prof, she is so slow, and she has an essay written on each slide. Ugh, useless prof. PS she is a nice lady in general but not as a prof.
Amazing prof, very enthusiastic when she talks, final exam is really easy and totally representative of what you learned in the course -> NOTTT
terrible presentation skills. Stutters a LOT and questions her own knowledge. if you do not have any previous experience with physics you're in trouble!Use the textbook and self teach.
hard midterm 1 + harder midterm 2 + KILLER FINAL. Not a mean lady but not a great professor. Whats taught in class is not equal to whats on the tests.
DO NOT TAKE THIS! this will destroy your gpa because no matter how hard you study your not going to do well. how she became a prof no one will ever no.
Don't know whats with all the hate. This is a 3rd year course and physics is a heavy part of it. This is a teach yourself course becaus the concepts are pretty hard. first 2 midterms are easy, but the final really tests your knowledge of physics. You must understand concepts from all angles. if you do the work over and over you should do fine.
She's a pretty good prof. Labs were really annoying but tests are seriously easy if you've taken even grade 11 physics. It is all projectile motion based, physics easiest branch by far. Everyone else here is being a bit ridiculous and just expect her to spoon feed them, but physics needs practice. As long as you do the practice q's you'll be fine.
I had no background in physics, and had a pretty loaded semester when I took this. I went to PASS sessions and did all the textbook questions. Whenever I had a question from lecture or the textbook, she would explain it after class, and never rushed anyone out if the answer took long. She even had tutorials to further help answer questions.
Dude, that final was a nightmare. Went into the final with an A+ and came out with an A. Know torque inside and out. Eat torque. Sleep with torque. Shower torque. Live and breath torque - that's all the final is on.
Read the textbook and its an easy A, all of the lecture material can be summarized in 5 pages worth of notes
Great prof and course, although her final is nothing like her midterms. and it is weighted wayyyyy too much. i have no background in physics i had an A+ going into the final and came out with a B+
Prof Moore isn't bad, I find the problem is within the course. For people without any background of physics (like myself) it can be difficult; I spent much of the semester trying to grasp concepts that had I understood going into the course, I would have done better. Physics should be a prereq Also, midterms easier than expected, final much harder
Pretty decent overall. You really have to pull in your weight and do the practice problems from the textbook on your own. Moore makes a point of going through the more confusing problems during class. If you've done Grade 11 physics, you'll get an easy A+.
this prof just makes me smh
Do the textbook and keep up with lectures. Studying with a buddy really helps. Try to understand and solve all the questions in the textbook and keep up-to-date with the lectures. labs are a bit tricky but fine once you get used to them. She bell-curves a little bit so that really helps. The final isn't so bad if you make notes by yourself.
Biomechanics is easy course if you do all of the textbook problems and do all of the solved problems stated in the lectures. The midterms consists mostly of application based questions with very few questions on theory. The final exam is MOSTLY thinking based (very different from a typical exam), so try aim to for a high mark before the final exam.
Will need a strong background in physics to do well in class. She does an extremely poor job of teaching concepts. She confuses not only the students, but herself as well. Online resources are beneficial. Would recommend Youtube videos for self teaching. Unrealistic expectations for content on midterms. Unsure of what she is getting paid to do.
Does not teach anything in class, and when she does, she jumbles up her words and is difficult to follow along. This is a self-learn course and can be quite difficult if you do not have a strong background in physics.
Basically a self-learning kind of course.
She's a decent prof when it comes to concepts and explaining terms, however that isn't what we are tested on. She barely does practice problems and as someone with no background in physics, i found it extremely difficult to teach myself. I wish the textbook came with solutions instead of just answers because the textbook was actually pretty useful
Overall this class is fair if you keep up with the homework and do it as you go along. Not the biggest fan of her attitude at times. The final is considerably harder than the midterms so do take that seriously and prepare well in advance.
There are two points to consider: 1. the most difficult questions in the exams come from the online quizzes of the textbook (5 edition for the 3000 level course). The link to the online quizzes can be found at the beginning of the textbook. 2. A lot of people defer the exams, so they can talk during the test, the TA does not care that much.
Anne is a great prof. Dont get why people rate her so bad. I had absolutely zero background in physics, didnt take it in hs and she explained things clearly and I ended with a B. If you want to do well in biotech, do textbook questions and just a bunch of practice questions. Shes a nice lady. Bad ratings are just haters m8
She's a very fair prof in terms of her midterms and final exam. I was extremely scared for this course but she did a good job of explaining things. Her recordings helped me more than going to lecture. Just make sure to do all the textbook questions and you are guaranteed a good mark
this course is considered to be a "easy" 1st half portion of the physics course given during 1st year courses. If you taken PHYS 1410/20 before, you are guaranteed a A for sure!
She is really nice and caring. Super boring. Easy class. Passed with over 100% average (A+).
Lazy teaching, monotone, does not explain concepts well and constantly reading off from slides. Makes concepts more complicated than its suppose to be. Makes it difficult for students without a physics background
I have no physics background. Avoided taking it until my last year. If you put time & effort into the textbook questions and attending lecture, you will do fine. labs are a mark boost as long as you do them. Its a kine course so test heavy, lot of material. Stay on top of it and youll do well
Final exam is very application-based, which is pretty normal for an upper year course. But in order for you to be able to apply concepts, you need to have a solid base of knowledge. Dr. Moore does not teach well. When she starts to run out of time, she begins to rush through the slides. This may as well be a self taught course.
Her first two midterms were related to the textbook questions and concepts. She really took her revenge on the exam with the short answer questions. Great thing is that she records the lectures and tutorials! Her MCQ sometimes can be confusing. Do your work, review, practice and go to class! Also do the labs, easy marks! Dont panic!
Extremely challenging course, and anybody who tells you otherwise is lying. Professor Moore is not the best lecturer as she's pretty monotone and quite boring. Go to your labs for easy marks, make sure you practice the problems and try and write both mid terms. We had 3 classes a week but i think thats also changing to 2 next year in 2020.
Took Biomech W2019. Dr. Moore isn't that bad. Granted, she is monotone. However, all the material is straightforward and she is very willing to help and explain after class. Study the slides, listen to the lectures at 2x speed, read the text. You'll be fine.
her lectures come directly from the textbook so there's no need to attend her lectures. the text book also explains concepts a lot more clearly than she does. I had zero background in physics and had to teach myself from scratch. midterms are okay, exam was hard. get ready to read
THIS PROFESSOR DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TEACH. She does not reply to emails, does not explain concepts clearly, monotone voice, no approachable. Not clear with what we need to know for midterms, she does not post practice questions on Moodle or solutions to problems done in class. Always had issues with the lecture recordings too. SHE CANT TEACH,PERIOD
Cons: Boring lecturer, does not care for students emails, not accessible, rude when you approach her (overhead her saying "did you not listen to the lecture?"), labs are a waste of time, her in class tutorials are a waste of time... Pros: App. tells TAs to give part marks on test for students trying Did not know physics going in, still don't.
THE WORST AND HARDEST CLASS IN THE KINESIOLOGY PROGRAM. Dr Moore cannot teach. I understood the concepts better from the Textbook than from her. If you don't have a physics and math background, you will really really struggle. The labs are tedious but they are a great grade bumper. Last Semester at York, Just Hoping to pass the course now.
it's basic grade 12 physics, if you took it in highschool you'll ace it. don't rely on prof to help you because she doesn't teach you any math, only explains the theory. She won't answer your emails and refuses to accommodate students. The textbook and khan academy saved my life in this course. I ran out of time on every single one of her tests.
Great prof, pretty straightforward lectures. Just do the practice problems and understand the concepts, don't try to memorize it
Very nice lady, Khan academy and reading the textbook will save your life. Don't panic, just do the practice questions and you'll do fine. I have no background in physics so it was a little difficult buuut, try your best,
Worst prof I ever had. Does not teach you the math or physics, but thats all that shows up on tests. All she does is explain theory and expect you to just know how to solve complex equations.
Professor Moore is a very sweet lady. If you don't have a background in physics it may be a little challenging but it won't be impossible. Make sure you read the textbook and do a bunch of practice questions because some of them do show up on the test. Don't panic, You will do fine.
While Prof Moore is a nice lady, she is absolutely horrendous at teaching. She will not answer emails, she will not answer in general, nor will she accommodate any students. What she teaches in her lectures are only somewhat representative of what is tested. The textbook is a life-saver in this course and you'd be screwed without it.
Prof Moore is not a good teacher. She doesn't explain things well and She makes Biomechanic Concepts even more confusing with her teaching style. Biomechanics is an extremely tough course, especially if you dont have a basic physics background. Her exams are also very difficult. This was the toughest course in the whole KINE Program. Good Luck!
I barely had any background in physics coming into biomechanics due to me being in BA Kine, but honestly if you are dedicated to doing the homework then an A is very achievable. I would take caution to those taking the course online because our final exam was online based due to covid and was very hard compared to the in class written ones.
She may know the concepts on her own but she is a horrible teacher. The way she lectures somehow makes everything 10x more confusing rather than helping so you're just learning the course on your own by reading the text book and khan academy. If you can drop and take with a diff prof do so, and if not goodluck
such a different teacher compared to the third year bio mechanics class! you could tell this is what she really enjoyed. get ready for absolutely 0 communication on her end which can be stressful with exams but overall great class
Lectures are all theory and make up very little of what is actually tested. Hmwk questions require calculations which she pays ZERO attention to in the lectures, and the midterm was the most poorly written, anxiety provoking midterm I've ever written despite reviewing the lectures + doing ALL the hmwk problems + reading the TB + attending tutorial
Never answers emails or class discussions. Despite numerous complaints about her midterms, she did not care. Lectures are theory based, and come from the textbook. However, the exams are mainly calculations which she does NOT focus on. Very little time to finish the tests, and half of them didn't make sense. You teach yourself.
This class is terrible. The lectures have nothing to do with what is being tested when it comes to the midterms. The lectures do not go into detail about what questions need to be practiced but rather a general overview of the material. It does not prepare you for the tests, the textbook questions do help.
She doesn't reply to emails or message. But, the worst thing is that her lectures focus on theory and even if there are problems to solve, most of the time I did not know how she solved it. The tests are hard but the testbook does help to an extent/
her tests were not based on lectures, barely based on the textbook. unless you have a physics background you definitely need to put in that work. very confusing in her lectures and very hard to reach. labs were easy but her tests on the other hand ...
Lecture are concept based. She barely teaches any calculations even though her exams are mostly calculations. Doing textbook questions helps a bit and use khan academy to learn calculations. You will not learn anything from her.
Teaches everything that you could know on your own & nothing that relies on the actual course, she never taught calculations to the difficulty she gave on tests & disappears for long periods of time, during test times, & almost never responds to her emails or questions in the discussion forum. They need a 2nd prof to make up what she can't teach ;/
I'm inspired by how bad this course was. Her dog appearing in her videos by accident was more exciting than the entirety of the course. Exams are based on calculations yet 99% of the material she teaches is just the theory. Your textbook is your best friend, but that won't be enough to get a decent grade. Good luck with this course.
Spends more time editing her videos than the actual lecture. Test reviews are 5 mins, to review about 25 questions, and it's nearly impossible to actually book a spot. No transparency with students, we got a notice of how many questions we have at 10:43 pm the night before the exam, telling us part 1 has 24, & part 2 has 23. Hated every day of it.
If you think her lecture will be enough for you to do great or pass, u are very wrong, her lecture only explain basic stuff, also is so much different from test question I order to understand the course please please work on textbook question otherwise you will be struggle with this course.
I think this professor knows what she is talking about and I enjoyed her lectures :), I just dont like the fact that she isn't always accessible through emails :(, her tests are very fair game if you just study. its not hard honestly and I think if you are committed, you will do fine I know so. Labs require participation. Dont worry! You'll do fine
What this professor discusses in her lectures is a far cry from the homework and questions on her exams. She has an amazing ability to make simple concepts seem extremely complicated and daunting. Exams are very tough and she has a weird obsession with stick-men and plotting coordinates on them. Good luck, we'll all need it :(
Wish I could say Terrible, Horrible, Hard... but this course was WAY worse! I tried hard and was getting a B until the exam. The final exam was soo heavy, there is NO possible way that someone can finish all questions; There is less than 40 minutes to complete 2 hrs long questions (ALL calculations, made NO sens). IDK why York doesnt get rid of her
I took physics in high school, and this course is exponentially EASIER than Grade 11 or Grade 12 physics. If you don't have a physics background, then you will have to dedicate lots of time for studying. I got 100% on the first test and was in the mid 90s going into the final exam. I had a killer semester, so I did meh on the exam.
prof tells you to focus on lectures then pulls god knows what from the textbook. good luck because you'll need it
First time I have ever put a review for a prof. She is absolutely the worst teacher in the entire Kine department. I can tell she puts some effort into lectures and teaching, but overall is totally unable to explain concepts. I'd have failed this course if I hadn't taken g12 physics. Be prepared to learn everything through Youtube videos.
terrible.
Dr. Moore is not a bad professor by any means. She makes herself available every week for tutorials and has some pretty interesting lectures. Some content is hard, so be sure to practice. Please read through the textbook and do the questions, just going to lectures will not be enough. She sometimes takes a while to reply to emails.
Her lectures are very unorganized and she does not know how to explain simple concepts. I barely passed her class. I mostly relied on Youtube and the textbook. If you need to take this class, all I gotta say is good luck.
if u dont have to take this course DONT TAKE IT. i have probably sent her 6 emails throughout the span of 2 weeks and no response. her lectures are so boring and even on 2x speed they're so slow. she made the entire course online, then threw us into an in person final without telling us what to expect this course was the reason for my therapy tbh
Horrible prof. No class communication whatsoever. Lectures are extremely boring, and she talks incredibly slow, it's astonishing. Possibly the worst prof in the entire kine department.
Hands down the worst professor in the entire Kinesiology department. Her lectures are extremely boring, she can not explain concepts at all. She makes lots of mistakes when explaining the concepts. Her midterms and exams are not fair with respect to the level of detail she teaches. Do yourself a favour and study the textbook really well.
She is the worst professor in the KINE department at York. She did not clearly explain any of the concepts that were relevant to this course, it genuinely seemed like she did not know a lick of what she was teaching. Her office hours would have been useful if she knew how to properly answer questions and explain theories :). Good luck...
WORST AT YORK.most kine profs are pretty good. i rate her negative.lectures r boring and did not help.basically teaching ourselves thru utube and txtbook.asked her a quest during the final that the ta said was a good question and she basically told me to shut up and do my exam.ta mustve felt bad for me while marking my exam cause idk how i passed
Worst prof at york by far+rude and clearly doesnt care ab her students idk how york hasnt fired her. u must know how to teach urself from the txtbook bc her lectures do not relate to tests at all. tests were absoluetly horrible, needless to say i was crying tears of joy when i passed with a D+ knowing i would not have to go through that hell again
Don't take this course if you don't have to. The tests are unreasonably difficult and don't reflect the level of difficulty of the course material. What's worse is that the lectures are beyond boring and draining to watch. If you can, save yourself the mental trauma and don't take this course
Dr. Moore is quite literally the WORST Kine prof here at york. The classes are meant to be an hour and a half but she only teaches for around 20 minutes then goes into "tutorial" where she does math questions that no one can see or understand. Midterms are not reflective of the material learned and she gives no advice on what material to study.
Not good
NEVER left a review for a prof in 3 years, but she was worth it. What she claims to put on or leave off the exam? Study the complete opposite. No communication whatsoever, she doesn't respond to emails, and she teaches like we have a physics background. We ear no information about the exam until the night before. Avoid this class like the plague.
Lectures are very unhelpful as she doesn't explain the concepts thoroughly and doesn't explain how to solve problems at all. She just starts saying numbers and not explaining where they're coming from or why they're being used. For a subject this hard that is mandatory to take, it's actually unacceptable that this is how it's taught.
Emails the night before about what to know on the exam... Doesn't explain anything and assumes everyone is a physics god. Why is someone with a mechanical engineer background teaching biomechanics of the body...
Genuinely the worst professor in the university. Tests are not even close to representative of what she teaches. Course is not even hard but this prof makes it hard. It's the worst possible experience you can ever have in a university class.
ANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD...... like please finish a single thought.
Worst prof ever. Spare yourself the mental distress she will put you through and do not take this class if you don't have to.
this course would have been easy if it was thought by a person that actually cared and engaged with their students. she just goes over lectures materials and she even gets lost in them. so you need to study the book very carefully and do all the questions and that would be your savior. self teaching is the key. no other prof so you gotta take it.
Difficult to understand the professors explanation of topics. Professor takes long pauses mid sentence making it hard to follow what she is saying. Overall, the course was very difficult for me due the the amount of math involved
just horrible
Delayed Graduation last year because of fear of this course. I had no physics background and because of this thought I'd be alot behind. There's no real trig prereq here. my friend dropped 3030 2x & just failed the final again Prof's nice, gives help in tutorials. Study early, skim lects, use online resources (orgo chem tutor) and do text probs.
An A+ student, have an A+ in the course. Just wrote the final and will likely end high 80-low 90 so A or A+. Horrible person, and not worthy of being called a professor. Terrible lectures, and is illiterate. Only around bcz of tenure. My grade has nothing to do with her, she thinks pointing to numbers and saying add them = education. just gross
York needs to look at ratings because a prof like this should not be teaching a core course like biomechanics for this many years. She hardly explains anything, uses very few examples and expects us to know how to solve every problem despite us never learning it. Her exams weren't that difficult tbf, theyre mostly textbook questions.just awful prof
This course is a real challenge, but with some effort, it can be manageable. The professor's teaching style takes some getting used to, so it's key to stay engaged, use the textbook, and explore online resources like Unstuck ai for extra support. Overall, it's a tough but rewarding class.
This prof might as well be senile because she is god awful. She gets as lost as we do when teaching an online module she can prep for. How are you not teaching in person but suck so hard at teaching on a recorded video you could fix. Earning your position just because you're the longest-tenured prof has to be chalked up to nepotism level bs.
What's the point of having a website that reviews profs and has no actions taken against them? This woman clearly has a track record of being disgustingly terrible at her job, but still, she survived all of it. Reading off of slides and being stuck the same way a 15 year old doing presentations the first time does. Jesus christ, is all I got.
Moore has online modules only. For people who have difficulty understanding content I would not recommend this course. It feels like I am in a high school presentation whenever she is lecturing. I often get confused when she talks about lecture materials. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone if it's not mandatory lol.
The worst professor ever, for a mandatory course like Biomech. York needs to look at the ratings because a professor like this should not teach a core course for years. Her teaching style sucks, its disorganized, boring, and hard to follow. The lectures are dry and impossible to stay engaged in, and it's super hard to actually learn anything.
Out dated videos. Slides are so small on the videos you can even see some graphs. We pay all this money and in return we receive outdated education from professors who dont care about our education. She does not understand basic teaching skills and expects that everyone already understand physics.
The online lectures that she records are so weirdly done and hard to actually learn from. Uses "ummm" and or a pause too often. She does not care for her students, many rude interactions with her.Don't have phyics knowledge? you will have a hard time she teaches like everyone knows the basics. reading the textbook and teaching myself saved me
She sounds like me trying to give a presentation when I was 8 years old with all the stumbling.
Dr. Moore has tenure. she can't be fired, no matter how bad her lectures are the university can't do anything about this unless she resigns or retires. her material is outdated and her ways of teaching are not beneficial to her students. She does care about her student but its the lack of effort being put into teaching us and the material itself.
horrendous lectures is not good at explaining concepts
Worst teacher at York that I've had in 4 years. Clearly very smart, but is not good at being able to help you learn. Expect to self-teach all concepts and rely on the textbook. She posts modules from 5 years ago that you can barely see the equations in. Her overall attitude seems to be that its not her job to help you pass the class.
This professor is the worst at York. She expects you to teach yourself EVERYTHING. York needs to try and do something to get her out. Professor Hurley should teach this whole course. It's not fair for hard working students.
I've never had a more incompetent professor. Her material is disorganized, her teaching is incoherent and incomprehensible, and she seems to not care about her students. She still uses outdated modules from years ago. She explains things so poorly I had to constantly rewind just to understand.
horrible, she should not be teaching a mandatory course
Teaching ability is absolute dog water. Learnt more from chatgpt and youtube videos.
Prob one of the worst KINE profs. Her online modules are poorly done and added wayyyy too much fluff to them. I learned way more when I read the slides and used the textbook. Dr. Hurley should take over this course as the first few modules were great because of her. If you're going into 3030 and have Dr. Moore, get ready to lock in lol.
Although she has a tonnnnnn of terrible reviews I genuinely dont think she was a bad prof. Her lecture videos were kind of a drag to watch but honestly as long as u did the textbook questions and practiced ur fine
This was by far the KINE class that I was most nervous to take based on its rep. It honestly wasn't that bad . I kinda enjoyed Dr Moores corny modules lol , BUT you have to supplement your learning with the text book and online resources. Make sure you know how to solve the textbook questions and practice a lot!! The modules alone are not enough
