Shes very helpful. I strongly dislike english. While she doesnt do much to kindle an interest in the subject, she does make it bearable. She has a great attitude and puts her heart into her work. Grading is easy and your writing will improve. She really tries to simplify the essay writing process.

GREAT TEACHER! this lady has a great attitude and is always smiling. she knows that notes bore the students, so she tries to get through them as quickly as possible. excellent reviews before quizzes. she is a fairly easy grader of essays. before an essay is assigned, she takes adequate time to make sure you understand what you are doing. she is great. if you work with her she will work with you. she is very prompt with grades. you have to write 3 papers but they are not that hard. if you do the papers and have her look at paper before you turn it in you will get a good grade. if you are taking eng 102 take anne!

Teacher will review papers prior to due date and will give feedback. Short discussions on readings. Generally, class consisted of group assignments that were not graded and were based on the reading assignments in order to ensure we understood the concepts and material.

SHES AMAZING. One of the best teachers i've ever had. 2 test and 2 essay,4-6 pages. As long as you as you show up to class and pay attention to the powerpoints you'll do great. She lets everyone miss up to 4 classes without it harming your grade. Great review for test if you show up for review there isnt a reason you shouldn't get an A. Easy grader

SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER..notes are from power point presentation you can print out from Angel. Notes are clear if you attend class you will totally understand the stories you read. Test questions come from the power point presentations

She is so nice and kind!! Quiz and essay are easy to do if you listen to the stories and remember them. I would take again if I could!

Class is overall pretty simple. No homework all semester which may be easy for some but your grade will be consisted of equally 4 assignments so if one isn't turned in or a low grade is received you already have a low score. Textbook is required due to reading stories in class but is easily explained in modern language by professor.

She's great! She is nice, patient and helpful. She engages the class and makes it interesting. Grades were based on 5 assignments: two essays, two exams, and an oral presentation. All the reading comes from the books (set of 3). There is a review before an exam. You can miss up to six classes. Show up to class, read, do the work and you'll do well.

Read the book do the work and you'll be fine. She explains the literature so well that you own the information for the tests. If you use the study guide for the test a 100% is attainable. She sets you up to succeed. I would love to take her again! THANKS ANNE SAGEL you made the stories come to life!

You could get away without the textbook. there's some in-class reading which she brings her book you can borrow. Just need to site MLA. She's an awesome teacher who keeps learning fun and easy. The way it should be.

The class is an easy A if you go to class. Sagel is cool teacher. Easy grader. Clear instructions. If your shy don't take this class because you're required to talk to people in class everyday. Avoid morning classes especially 8AM. It was brutal. Good luck all!

the only bad experience I've had with an English teacher is when I didn't take her. She is very nice. Not too hard on the grading. understanding of class loads as long as you do all the work you should be fine.

I just finished this four week class today. Really learnt a lot from her. Her classes were really interesting. She understands that it's only four weeks, so she didn't give Any hard assignments. Basically two 2-3 pages essays; two exams (very easy + everything was reviewed a day before); five-minute oral presentation. She is a very good professor.

Professor Sagel is an Amazing instructor that is truly there for you, I got an A in her class. There is homework but its doable, tests are open book, 3 essays. I would take her again if i had to.

She's a great teacher. There is one oral presentation that is optional to give in front of the class. I took her hybrid course. You can miss 5 classes on campus. Work is straight out of the text books. The final is open book, open note online. DO NOT TAKE THE 8am CLASS!! It is English. Its a rough subject to take when you first wake up.

Professor Sagel is a genuinely nice woman. You have 2 4 page papers (1 mid 1 final, clear/easy grading), 1 easy oral presentation, mid term and final exam. The book isn't necessarily needed because the quotes are usually on the power points. She allows you to miss class 6 times with no penalty any more you fail, but 6 misses is plenty. Take her!

Sagel is so amazing. Theres only 3 essays (which are very easy), she gives like 6 quizzes and will take the best 5, she gives 8 in-class assignments and takes best 6, and she grades very easily. If you do it, you pass. The quizzes are super easy if you show up to the class before. I recommend her. If you can take her, take her.

Mrs. Sagel was my first class in college and was super welcoming. She is very detailed and patience. She isnt the type of person that makes you feel dumb if you dont understand something. Shes very clear with what she expects. Assignments are simple and there isnt too many of them. You can use your textbooks on tests and quizzes. Shes very understanding and caring and clear with her lectures. I definitely recommend taking her.

I took her last semester and she was awesome. I saw that she's teaching another one of my required classes so I enrolled in her class again. Accessible outside of class. Lots of group work. And she makes jokes sometimes that aren't half bad!

Professor Sagel is absolutely amazing! She explained everything very well and was always willing to help. If you're not a big fan of group work then I would suggest choosing another class because most class work is done in groups. Showing up to class is mandatory after 3 missed classes your grade will be deducted a letter grade.

Very accessible outside of class and is willing to help in any way she can. You will learn in her class! Its not difficult to get an A as long as you do the work.

Sagel makes literature crystal clear. Her lectures are simple and includes short videos to make it more interesting. Most classes end with a group activity (not graded). Course includes 2 presentations (1 group, 1 individual), 2 4-page essays, and 2 in-person exams. She gives you everything you need to study. HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking her class(es)!

Professor Sagels class was fun and interesting. She makes her class very easy to follow and to study for. All the info you need is provided on pp slides on canvas. There is plenty of time to complete assignments. (i.e 2-3 weeks). She only has 6 assignments she grades you on, w/ only 2 being papers. Reviews w/class a day b4 exams. Very nice lady.

She is an easy grader, so just give your best effort on your essays and you will pass. Awesome teacher overall.

One of the best professors hands down. Grading and assignments are extremely clear. She is always accessible and fast when replying to grades, questions, emails etc. Not a tough grader and allows 5 absences in a 16 week course. She is extremely nice, caring, allows late essays, and really wants her students to succeed. 1000% would recommend.

Anne is very nice teacher. She gives excellent and prompt feedback. Every assignment had clear precise instructions on what was expected. If you ever have any questions, she responds quickly. I definitely recommend taking this for English 101 I took this course online over 8 weeks and the workload was not too heavy. She grades really fair too.

I took this as a hybrid class and can honestly say I took her as a regular class. She's a super sweet lady and does her best to make lectures interesting and interactive. The class was easy but I still learned a lot. Easy online quiz every week on a story discussed in class, 2 in-class tests, and 2 papers.

Weekly chapter tests in the online textbook. Do your assignments on time and you will not have a problem. For your essays the grading criteria is clear and she provides very helpful feedback and always available to answer questions, responds quickly through email. Would DEFINITELY take this professor again!

She's very straightforward, she provides you with her own lectures and additional information to help with her quizes (you have help) and on her essays. She's more than willing to answer any questions you may have as well as help you with resource searching and understanding for an essay. It's an esay A if you do the work and actually try.

Professor Sagel is so wonderful! She annotates all of your work, which helps improve your writing immensely. The class was very organized and clearly laid out. There are four papers and tests for certain chapters. Prof. Sagel grades quickly and writes really helpful notes. No late work, no re-dos. I enjoyed her class, I highly recommend her!

She is the best!!!! Having to take online classes wasnt difficult this semester. This professor is very caring and is there when you need help understanding something. Her class is pretty simple, you just need to put in the work. Quizzes and some writing assignments.

The book is provided for you as a download. We only had to write three 4-page papers with sources the entire semester. A quiz of 10-20 questions every week based on the story assigned that week. The assignments are due every FRIDAY not Sunday. Professor Sagel was great! She was kind and offered her help multiple times!

Professor Sagel was an amazing teacher. She very nice and is willing to work with you. She says she doesn't accept late assignments but she makes exceptions, especially towards the end of the semester. She doesn't offer extra credit but she does give you good feedback and tell you what to fix to get a better grade.

LOVED Prof. Sagel! She gives out work by the week and has about 4-5 essays. The weekly work was very easy and I often finished the work for the week in less than an hour. She gives quick and amazing feedback. I submitted my essay and she graded it within the hour.

She is a good teacher, there is about two assignments/quizzes a week, and about five essays throughout the course. She is a easy grader and makes you actually want to wright and enjoy the material.

A great teacher, she cares about her students, I took her hybrid class, and it was fun. The workload isn't too much. It's a guarantee to pass only if you do the work, just be aware that she doesn't accept late assignments. There are 3 four-page essays with prompts that I enjoyed writing about. She provides a free textbook with great material.

Professor Sagel is great. Her grading criteria was easy to understand, which means if follow directions you will get all points possible for each assignment. This being an English 100 class there were 5 essays and 18 quizzes. Might seem daunting, but she gives you everything you need for an A. Her lectured PowerPoints are great and FREE TEXTBOOK!

ENG 231 want to get easy A or A+ , I recommend, professor Anne Sagel, here is the reasons why her : 1. She explains each lecture by telling stories, easy to remember. 2. she will also upload she lecture so you can listen is you miss any of her class or just go over her Class lecture PPT slide, past quizzes easily.

Dr. Sagel's class has come in clutch on so many occasions. The coursework for the week can generally be done in an hour and is easy to understand. She sends nice comments and gives amazing feedback. I wish I could have her as a professor for every course.

Prof Sagel was Great. She has only three essays, and does simple quizzes on the stories we read every week that are easy A's. I only got a C because i chose to totally not do an essay, otherwise its the easiest and also one of the most fun and enjoyable classes ive taken. Would recommend you take her class over anyone else.

Professor Sagel is one of the best professors i've had. She has three stories per one essay, so you get to pick from one of the 3 stories to write your essay about. 9 stories with a quiz, and a total of 3 essays that are all 4 pages long. She even has a class period before every essay to help you. She also grades really quickly, and gives feedback.

Professor Sagel is awesome! We covered three stories over three weeks with a quiz due each week for each story. The fourth week the essay was due. And again for two more sets of stories. No textbook is required. She provides the stories. Super easygoing. Makes the class enjoyable.

Amazing professor. Took her online class for ENG 100 and it was the best choice I ever made. There were 5 essays, with the longest being 4 pages, multiple quizzes based on reading modules throughout, and the final being implemented as an essay. Easy course and Professor Sagel offered amazing commentary on everything submitted. Strongly recommend.
