great teacher even better then judge. her tests are like the HW problems she assigns.she is alwasy willing to help during office hours. its not hard to pass her classes with a good grade as will. she is harder then judge but if you plan to go to the higher levels of math take her, youll learn

She teaches the way math should be taught. She's not at all easy, but super clear. No make-up exams, unlike Judge. Don't get me wrong, Judge is a good teacher, but she just cannot be beat. She will make you find out that you were actually good in math all this time. You wont pass if no work done.

a truly good teacher who cares for her students. she is not fake or two-faced. yes, a lot homework is expected, and since math is such a broad topic, she should narrow it down a little by selecting certain problems. she will help you succeed. you will gain a sense of confidence in math. one of the best in elac.

seriously the greatest math teacher i have ever had in my life. i failed algebra II in high school but got a B in her class. her lectures are so clear..she gives several examples and works through them step by step. she's also very nice! she extends deadlines and gives alot of extra credit to improve your grade. i want her for ALL my math classes!

She teaches you in a slow pace so you won't be left behind. Her online quizzes help a lot and her tests are pretty easy if you just study a bit. She gives you extra credit to do also. I say she's pretty cool, go and take her. :D

Goes over math problems that students don't understand. Her tests were fair and covered everything from lectures. Offered extra credit, but I hated the online quizzes.

Prof. Siswanto is a great teacher. It's true that the amount of work she may give may be overwhelming at times but the point of all that work is to help us understand and do better. When it comes to math, practice makes perfect, so I understand why she assigns so much work. So I would recommend her to everyone. She's always willing to help.

I took her online class(pre-calculus) during the summer. She is a great instructure and willing to help at anytime. She does give lots of homework. Gives you samples of what will be on the Midterm and Final. Take her, she knows her stuff.

After not taking math for a long time this was great! She is such a cool teacher and she helps everybody that asks for extra help, actually she likes it if you ask questions. She goes very slow and knows her stuff. The online quizzes may be boring but they help a lot! I highly recommend her.

I learned so much with Siswanto I got a C in her class but I did fail like 2 of her tests and got like 2 D's on the other ones the thing that helped me a lot was the extracre and on line quizzes yeah I know a lot of ppl dont like them but trust me it will help out ur gr a lot not to mention she drops the lowest score. She is truly one of the best teachers that distinguishes ELAC as the school that offers the best math programs. It is not easy to pass her courses but it is what keeps the integrity of the college. Unlike other professors, who grade on how big your booty is. Mrs. Siswanto gives hope under so much corruption at ELAC.

She is kind and generous. Not bad at teaching, and her tests are not too difficult but not easy either. Do your homework = good grade in test. You get extra credit from time to time (not that much point, but still something) You will learn your calculus. Recommended.

Mrs. Siswanto is one sexy woman, she's really hot, first time I saw her I thought she was one of the student, on the other hand boy do she gives out a lot of homework, and the online quize takes hours to complete, if you plan to take her class be prepare to spend at lease 20 hours a week on your assignment.

Yes..there is hope in the ELAC math dept. when there is a lot of corruption (Judge, Fernandez take note) that discourages students taking these courses. Siswanto is great who cares about her students and is genuinely concerned about them learning. She should become the math dept. head.

oh Yes, Siswanto. Yes, she's beautiful, nice, great teacher. First of all, I like teachers who can remember everybody's name. My calc 2 class had 40 people in it and it took her less than 2 weeks to memorize everyone's name. Once in a while I see her and she still smiles and says hi. Take her for as many Math classes as you can, she's great!

She is the greatest professor at ELAC. The only drawback are the online quizzes, but I guess that's the only thing. She really prepares you for the rest of the math classes and she is very patient. Some people dislike her, but those are the lazy ones. I think she is a jewel in the department and is definitely worth taking. Avoid if u are lazy.

I am terrible at math and I was really apprehensive about taking this course, so I chose a class that met everyday. Ms. Siswanto is a really kind person and takes great pains to make her notes, there is A LOT of note taking, easy to comprehend. She is fun and gives really good pre-tests that help you out on the tests. In fact, some are the same!

She assigned a reasonable amount of work and most of the problems on her tests were pretty straight forward. If you make an honest effort, you should get no less than a B in her Calc 3 class. Her lectures were very clear and thorough but she took her time. Unfortunately, we were unable to finish all of Ch. 17

One of the best teachers at ELAC Point Period. You must WORK to earn your grade. We are no longer in High School where they spoon fed us information. Professor Siswanto offers a SOLID foundation for mathematics. Her notes are beyond crystal clear. She is extremely thorough when she lectures and is always welcoming during her office hours.

She's fun...to look at. She's also very good at teaching, very clear when it comes to explaining the problems. If you don't understand something just ask her, she never gets annoyed and will be very happy to help you. She's neat and organized. Her handwriting looks really nice. Last but not least, she won't "give" you the grade, you EARN it. Peace.

I took professor siswanto over the summer and I can say it is a easy class if you take notes and attempt to solve problems on her lectures. No textbook is required hw/quiz is done online. As long as you stay on top of your game and complete all homework with a A (unlimited attempts). You will get a A. She offers 3%EC for turning in hw on time.

She doesnt use a text book for home work she use math xl. She is very helpful and give extra credit!

She is very nice, and explains the material well; However, be warned in that she gives out a lot of homework! If you don't have the time to spend a few hours a day on homework, don't take her class, specially in the winter season because she gives out about 20 questions a sections, and goes through 3 sections a day.

Her test questions are not super easy, but not that hard either. You definitely need to get every EC if you want to get an A. I enjoyed her class because of her genuine and approachable personality.

Test are doable, especially if you take advantage of the practice test. Do your homework, it counts. Sit in the front and pay close attention. She gives 10 min breaks during class. Ask questions, she'll answer them. She's a funny teacher, the best math teacher I've ever had. I got a B, but that's because I didn't turn in the last chapters homework.

I loved Prof. Siswanto! She's easily one of the best professors I've ever had. In the beginning she seemed very strict and I was kind of nervous. But as the semester rolled along, she communicated really well with the class. There is a ton of opportunities to get points. Do the homework, attend class, and there are study guides for her tests.

professor Siswanto was great. No textbook needed, all homework is done online. The class is basicslly made up of hw (which isn't hard) and chapter tests. No midterm, just commutative final. She gives practice exams that are almost identical to the real exam so it's super easy to study off. Do hw and study and you'll be fine.

This was my first time taking a math course in ELAC, and Professor Siswanto helped me alot! I took her course during the winter session, so the homework was a lot but that is expected for a winter or summer session here at ELAC. Professor Siswanto reviews the practice tests before the actual test, which is really helpful.

Professor Siswanto is an amazing instructor. This is my third time taking Math 227, and I feel like I finally learned something. The other instructors I took before cannot even compare with her. Prof. Siswanto's lectures are very clear and her class is fun. She likes to connect what we are learning with real-life situations.

I am taking this class at 7:30 am which is quite early, but I really enjoy the class and my classmates. Prof. Siswanto encourages us to pair up and collaborate. She teaches difficult concepts very clearly. Everything is neat and well-organized. She even posts lecture notes after class. She uses FREE textbook and software MyOpenMath.

She uses a tablet for lectures! It may not be a surprise to some but for me it's the first time a professor has utilized a tablet. I want to thank her for the experience and the added benefits the come with that. There are a plethora of other compliments I want to add but I'll summarize it the best I can, she's a professor who wants you to pass!

Prof. Siswanto is very good at explaining math. For my hybrid class, she lectured some sections and provided video lessons/reading for the other sections. The text was FREE and quite understandable. What helped me was READING before coming to class - a MUST. She posted class notes. She always tried to help. Make sure to do her study guides.

I took M115 in the spring. Prof. Siswanto provides a lot of resources, such as lecture notes and videos. Her lectures are clear, and she gives paired assignments. Just study her practice tests and lecture notes. Take notes when doing hw, and read before coming to class, easy to get A or B. Free textbook as well. I highly recommend her!!!

45% of your grade depends on exams, it's tough if you struggle. She lets you do take home quizzes, & partner/group quizzes. Takes attendance but does not count it towards your grade. She provides study guides for all your exams which is highly appreciated! She explains concepts so well, and if the class doesn't understand it she makes it simple.

Took Math 137 with Siswanto and it's not difficult to pass. I suck at math and if I completed my assignments, I could have gotten an A. She is very sweet and kind to all. I recommend taking her. The online homework prepares you for the tests. Plus she gives practice tests to prepare for the actual test.

Still taking Math 227 with her now, and everything is online because of the corona virus. Her online lectures through Zoom are crystal clear. I did not realize, but the reading logs she assigns force me to read, and it is VERY HELPFUL!! I have been consistently getting good grades (90s), and I am not even good at math. Definitely take her!!

Seamless transition to online class.... She is excellent in using technology. Her online lectures are very clear. I thought that I would get a C, but ended up with a B, thanks to her clarity and organization. She posts her lecture notes so she is really easy to follow. She always answers any questions. Take her and you will learn!

She cares about her students success, and is very helpful. Yes stats is a lot of material but she really tries to cover it all and answer all your questions, it can be overwhelming but I think that's Stats in general. Use Math XL for homework and quizzes. If your do your homework and quizzes you will be fine as majority is graded on those things.

Took her in spring. She is amazing!! We used Myopenmath and a free textbook. She was very clear in her teaching and answered every question. She gave us practice tests which was very helpful. She also posted organized class notes. I plan to take her if she teaches calculus. Best math prof ever....

This was my second time taking Math 125. Prof. Siswantos lectures were very clear and organized. All class notes she took were posted online after class. She helped me a lot of times during her office hours. I got a B in the class because her class was interesting. Textbook and MyOpenMath were free. Awesome Prof! Highly recommend taking her.

She is a great prof. I took Algebra 2 in high school, did not understand anything, and barely passed. I learned a lot more with Prof. Siswanto. I did quite well in her class. Her lectures were very easy to understand, impressive! She always showed us the steps. Will be taking her Precalculus. Textbooks are free. Highly recommend her.

I took this professor and she was honestly very caring. At first theres homework everyday including weekends but it gets easier. Every time we met we had either a pop quiz or exam and for the exams our cameras must be on. She would review before. Shes very caring about your grade and provides office hours.

Professor Siswanto is a delight. She is passionate about her students learning. She makes you for work your grade but is always available if you need help. She definitely cares and her class is very enjoyable. I am by no means saying it is easy, but if you want to learn she's your go to professor.

Homework is done online and despite having a lot of homeowork weekly, it is easy and will make up a big portion of your grade. They do have a bit of an accent but it is easy to understand and willing to take time to help you through material you are having trouble with. Easy if you are willing to put in the work and prepare for quizzes.

This Professor is completely Asynchronous. She has pre recorded lectures and pre filled out notes as well as blank ones. Although my interaction live with her was very little her lectures make you feel as if you are with her. She is one of the best Stats teachers you will ever take. Extremely clear videos. Take this class and you with her win.

She expects you to learn from her videos prior to class and then discusses homework questions in class. I feel I understand the material much better now. Free textbook.

Class requires you to stay on top of things (2-3 lectures, homework, and classwork due weekly). However, all work is extremely manageable, and Prof. provides fillable notes which is helpful. We used MathXL for work, and Statcrunch for practically everything which is convenient. Easy A if you can manage your time well.

An amazing teacher. The lectures can be heavy but nothing you can't handle. She works with students very thoroughly and she always helps when something isn't clear. She provided extra credit and dropped our lowest test grade. I highly recommend taking her class.

Siswanto is PATIENT and KIND.... I tried my best, but math is not easy- I almost gave up. I forgot a lot of stuff from Algebra, which I took 5 years ago. She helped me a lot during office hours to review things like fractions and percent. She encouraged everyone to ask questions and always answered them. BEST math teacher ever!

She was so caring last semester and would send messages when she saw that students were struggling. I was able to understand the content through her lectures. I will say that there's a quiz every week, and the tests are worth a good portion (they are proctored). Good thing that she lets you use notes.

An A+ PROFESSOR!! Took her in the fall. Class was pretty easy. She was very kind to us!! Always answered all questions - Her lecture videos were very clear. She explained each step. I took a shortcut and did not watch her lecture videos in the beginning so I did not understand a lot of things.... I was doing better once I started watching.

I attempted this class with another professor and dropped it. I hate anything math. This class was hard. It was a lot of work and I still loved it. She is an amazing professor & gives you every opportunity to succeed. If you need this class, take hers!!! You will not regret it.

She is amazing! watch her videos take notes. Everything she teaches is on the test. She gives opportunities 2 score better. Drops lowest score. She answers every email. She is sweet. classwk everyday so if your working/have other classes it will be tough. I went blind into statistics so getting C+ was amazing! Test are proctored you can use notes.

she sends reminders often and is a fast replier. Passing is easy do the lectures actually take your time and lean them write down the steps every singe time, and study the practice test they have the same questions different numbers for the real tests.

Met once a week for her class and it was super easy. Everything was based on her PPTs and notes. Lots of HW but they weren't that difficult + willing to give extension. If you need help, can attend her office hours and she is very helpful. Uses Proctorio extension when we take exams. Other than that everything else is open notes and easy to follow

I have not taken math for 15 years. In the beginning, she gave us a math review test (with a lot of questions and video tutorials) to finish in 3 weeks. It took me a long time to finish, but the review helped me A LOT!!! I work full-time so cannot meet her, but she makes videos to answer my questions. Lectures are very clear. Amazing teacher!

I am so glad I am taking math 260 with Siswanto. Excellent prof. with clear lectures. Very straightforward and no surprises during tests. Just take notes while watching the lecture videos and do the practice tests to get an A. Tests are proctored, and sometimes she have Zoom meetings to verify students' work on test. Free textbook and software.

Best teacher! I dont like math at all but her teaching skills and her lectures made me like math again! She is very understanding and is a great teacher!

Definitely take this professor if you want to pass with an easy A. she gave out a lot of hw and exams but she also gave out extra credit. Also, she was kind and understanding and would leave assignments and exams open sometimes. She provides mock tests that help you understand what you'll be tested on. DEFINITELY TAKE THIS PROFESSOR.

Very nice prof! Available during office hours and answered emails promptly. She provided a lot of resources, including algebra review. Her lecture videos are clear, even though they are quite long. No need to watch the help videos during homework after following her lectures. My favorite math prof.

This class was great. Prof Siswanto does a good job in her video lectures. She will get back to you instantly. Gives around 4-6 assignments per week. 4 units and exams, and 1 final exam. Super clear modules. Provides support for students. Assignments are due throughout the week, don't take her if you won't have time do turn them in before due date

As a student with a mental disability I highly recommend Professor Siswanto. It was easy to remain motivated in this class because of how easily the chapters were broken down. The flow of homework allows you to identify where you may have not learned something properly and adjust. Her way of teaching is truly designed to help you pass the class.

If you're a self-sufficient person, I'd recommend her asynch class. Her lessons were simple as long as you took time to understand the material. There are 4 exams and a final, about 3-6 assignments per week, but it's doable. She provides study guides prior to exams, allows cheat sheets, and allows rounding error corrections. Excellent Prof

Tough course. Professor Siswanto provides great video lectures that allow you to understand the material without the book. Statcruch was the application used for this class and can be a bit difficult but a life saver if you learn to use it properly. Overall, great lectures but class is intensive with lots of work and homework. Difficult but good.

Definitely my favorite professor in my college career. She set me up for success and I made it into Ucla and Berkeley into the sciences . Her lectures are clear. I would not take her online because people expect an easy pass and this is just not gonna happen. She uses cheat proof tools so don't be bitter at that. Do the work and you'll get results.

Professor Siswanto's class is very heavy on HW, tests, and lectures but the software we used (Stat Crunch) made the class 100% easier. As long as you know how to use Stat Crunch the class should be an easy pass. I don't recommend this class if you have a full-time job, it's what made the class somewhat difficult for me, but it is doable.

there is a lot of homework and classwork every week. The tests are a huge portion of your grade but you are allowed a cheat sheet when taking it. You also have to take the test in a lockdown browser with your camera on and everything. However, you do get your worst test grade dropped.
