Very arbitrary teacher, pretty much a complete waste of time.

VERY UNORGANIZED. VERY MATERIALISTIC. She never followed her syllabus and students were continually confused about her assignments. She answered her cell phone all the time during class. She even brought her two kids to class during presentations and answered her phone while a student was giving a presentation. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!!

very unorganized, talked about obama more than english. Focused most of the class on race and ethnicity. Dont take her class, i was on facebook the whole time. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. DON'T DO IT. If you take her class you might think you are in a government class. Not an english class.

Awful teacher! Disorganized isnt even the correct word. I took the DL class and you never knew what was due when because she would always have different dates posted in different places. She changed a lesson for the major writing assignment and did not communicate to the students and she still penalized us for it! Racially motivated.

DO Not take this class. This was the worst class that I ever took. Her instructions are so unclear and she gets upset when you ask Questions. She is disorganized and changes instructions at the drop of a hat, making it difficult for you to set a plan. I would not suggest her to anyone.

She is very rude and disorganized all the time. She thought it was Wednesday and didn't show up for our class. Seriously? I feel like I'm more prepared than she is. She can change her emotions at the drop of a hat. She gets angry if you ask questions and is never clear on what she wants. This class was a total waste of my time because of her.

OMG!! This was awful!! She is nice, but doesn't email back regularly. She would not post assignments because she was sick or too busy but then make them available and must be completed all within a couple days. She also assigned random assignments that we hadn't even learned anything about or even discussed. She's too busy to be doing DL classes!!!

She is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. She is such a flake. She expects you to be here but she rarely is. She'll call off class a week in advance, then the weekend before says no, we will have class, and then on the day of class call it off again an hour before class is about to start. I honestly can say I didn't learn anything.

Likes to venture of topic of lectures If you don't answer a question the way she wants it answered (specific wording) it's wrong regardless. Overall an easy professor, but I wouldn't take her for Comp1302

Ms. Cole is by far the worst professor at TCCD. How did she qualify for the job? She is one of those teachers that only care about getting their paycheck. Class time was often spent with her rambling about current affairs, and getting butthurt over facebook comments. Gives one week notice of when three essays are due. Did not learn a single thing.

She is an amazing person. Professor is questionable I think she is expecting us to write papers at university level with little or no instruction. She is not clear on expectations whatsoever and is somewhat rude.

She is a tough grader and docs points based on how she feels. She is a very nice person but is a bit disorganized.

WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD!!! She is so horrible do not take her. It takes her 2 months to get things graded, is super unorganized and very last minute. We have had things due that she wouldn't get around to grading for months. I have had multiple assignments ungraded so you are never able to know your true grade. Doesn't follow syllabusAT ALL

She's extremely rude and treats people like children. She mocks everything you do and she can't be doesn't say everything that needs to be done. She gives too much work for one week, don't ever take her if you're trying to learn English cause all she taught is reading.

I HATED THIS CLASS. She was so unorganized and blamed us for it. It felt like she made up assignments as she went. It was so bad I gave up. I didn't even try because I like her. but I still passed. She assigns a handful of essays. We studied poetry, dramas, short stories, and novel. Avoid her at all cost & if you end up taking her class beware

Terrible, just dropped class. confusing, too much work. I don't mind working hard, but the lack of clear instructions made it impossible. would not recommend.

Professor Cole is a nice lady as everyone seems to agree, but she's terribly disorganized and very confusing. Almost done with her class and I have learned basically nothing. She gives so many assignments and most of them are long and take up a lot of time. And to top it all off, she grades really hard. Definitely don't recommend.

By far one of the worst professors I've ever taken. She's very disorganized and class is a huge waste of time. I could literally only sit through 3-4 lectures before dropping. It was just her arguing with students instead of discussing. But, if you miss class, you'll miss something important intertwined with the babbling. Very frustrating!

She is by far the worst professor. She is very disorganized and very unclear about the projects and due dates. She hates when people ask for help as well as people emailing her. She hates being wrong and if it's not the way she likes it she will make fun of you. Very closed minded and could even insult you in class(personal experience) dont takeher

A girl in my class got dropped out of her class because she wasn't showing up to every class. This professor is not organized and is very emotional. She went off on a student in the middle of class because he wasn't sure of what was going on. Most of the class didn't know either but were to scared to raise their hands. I know I was. Don't recommend

If you want to be stressed out the entire semester, she's the perfect fit for you. I have never had a teacher or professor at any level that was so unorganized and had pages of excuses to back it up. She found ways to blame the students for her being unorganized. 50% of my class dropped. The work is pointless and I literally learned nothing.

Worst professor by far. Unorganized, She always has reasons for her delayed response. I'm taking this class online, and she rarely respond to email. Course calender is a full of chaos. She'll let you to research whatever you are interested in and then deny your option. She doesn't even have a PHD. Just awful. she does not worth your time.

Run to the nearest exit if you get this teacher. Take any other professor than this one. She cannot work the online system. There is NEVER any feedback on assignments, and I dont think shes even read some of the literature she teaches. Always complains about how tough her workload is! Run, run all the way to the registrars office! Worst ever!

Please Im begging you DO NOT take this professor! I took this class online due to COVID and she was very unorganized, she took so long to grade things, gives 0s if you dont follow directions(yet she makes them hard to understand), she blames everything on her students when its clearly her fault. This class has been the most stressful class ever!

I dropped the class. THE worst professor Ive ever had to deal with. Super unorganized, quick temper about things that arent understood by most students, quick to give out zeroes & drop students. If you have a life outside of school that wont be understood, especially in the middle of a pandemic.

Please do NOT take this professor. She only gave 1 "lecture" during the whole semester and had 0 consistency. So many assignments that had nothing to do with what we were supposed to be learning. I felt like I learned nothing in this class. Her instructions weren't clear, not very understanding and takes a while to grade. Very unenjoyable and hard.

Worst professor Ive had to deal w. The class begun fine but then turned out to be extremely disorganized. She only gave 1 lecture throughout the semester and was very inconsistent. Assignments were lengthy & unrelated to the topics we were learning. For our final project, she was unreasonably picky about our topics. Very unclear. Dont take her!

So unbelievably inconsistent with their schedule, never put assignments on the calendar until they were 4 days away, expected the class to have read a story after never mentioning it ONCE. I know this wasn't just an issue I had because there was a class where many students spoke up, this professor got very defensive, me and 5 students almost left.

DO NOT TAKE HER she posts assignments randomly throughout the week and is very defensive, getting mad when the class asks questions in a way she doesn't like, even ranting at the class when the whole class misunderstood an assignment that was posted without any instructions. She also tends to like to mock students. Worst professor I've taken here.

I have never in my life had such a horrible professor.She never had any clear instructions, and graded extremely hard. She cancelled half of the classes we had this semester, and when we were in class the lectures never taught me and she trailed off all the time. She only likes a certain type of writing, so if you have her good luck figuring it out

wont respond to anything you ask her, all homework is vaguely worded, and absolutly 0 information on her syllabus... you would literally get more help talking a brick wall

Very confusing class, with no clear instructions on when things are due. Grades things weeks late, and has you do GROUP projects for an online course. Should be an easy A, wasn't.

The worst professor ever in my class, she even recommended that not take another class with her. It was a nightmare.

Worst teacher of all time. Gives no help or reasoning behind her grades, took 85+ points off of multiple assignments for little to no mistakes and when emailed about it she would be rude and claim she had already given reasoning behind the grades. She should not be teaching anyone at all let alone college students. I learned nothing from her class

Avoid taking any class with her at all costs. She will grade very unfair, almost everyone in my class failed and multiple times she took 80+ points off of my grade for very small grammatical errors. She should not be teaching anybody let alone college students. She is very rude and inconsiderate, i am surprised she has a job as a teacher.

My class experience started well but turned sour. The professor's online rubric never matched her instructions given in person, and her grading seemed influenced by emotions, not objective criteria. Communication was also lacking. I got a 20 on an 8-page paper, despite her potential for greatness and kindness.

I would never take this class again even if someone paid me to do it. She is so harsh with grading and clearly has no idea how to teach college students, does not have any clear grading instructions, will take points off for everything, argues with students in class, and does not respond to emails or give any good feedback! STAY AWAY!

She's a terrible communicator and a harsh grader. I submitted an assignment and got a zero, and she told me to look at the example. That would be so helpful if there was actually an example. She is harsh and not understanding. She is also very unorganized and has no assignment schedule and often posts them closer to the date they are due.

Poor communication. She post assignment in between other assignments when it's almost due without notification. No explanation

Prof Cole is disorganized, placed items needed to complete assignments in inconsistent places or direct us specifically to one place and the information would be elsewhere. Slow grader, didn't post modules or answer emails in a timely manner. Incredibly difficult grader & changed rubrics after work was submitted. Scheduled a zoom & never showed up!

She goes into rants about random things off topic, and when I would reach out for help and she told me I should figure it out myself, resulting in low grades. She is also very strict with deadlines and no wiggle room around it. I would say avoid this class if possible.
