very intelligent Professor, but a little difficult. Just do all your work!

I think she was a pretty good teacher yes she does use the overhead a lot but she gives a lot of extra credit and the final was open book,and multiple choice!

I absolutely love Cole. Is is so intelligent and informative.

wow, i can't believe the reviews i've read here. miss cole is an incredible teacher. i've learned more and been more interested in her class than any other class i've ever taken. she's a strong, smart woman and i think maybe that's why she has gotten bad reviews. that can be intimidating. she's extremely intelligent. rock on, cole!

She is a good professor. I like her because she explain the subject a lot and clearly. I enjoyed her class a lot.

she is very cool teacher. her class was very interesting and her lecture was clear. i enjoyed her class. her class was also easy, but you need to take care of the test.

Very easy class and interesting. Time passes soo fast you won't get bored in this class. The thing is you have to do plenty of work, but it is very easy.

Teaches you skills above any level, gives you alot of extra credit, watched alot of videos, relates to real life political situations, never knew how interesting politics was until I took her class, only thing I don't like is she don't grade your assignments on time, so you really don't know how your doing. Incredible teacher!I hated politics before.Now I'm writing congress on a daily!She applies it to everyday life & makes it easy to understand.She's very real so don't try to get over.Tests are multiple choice but not necessarily easy.Read book!Follow directions and LISTEN!She doesn't like excuses.Half the battle is participating & doing work on time

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Professor Cole. I just recommended another friend to take her class because her intelligence and insight is powerful. I would have to disagree with all of the nay-sayers here because she is more than fair. Many of the exams are online, at home, WITH THE BOOK, c'mon! For a quality educational experience, I say take Prof. Cole.

taking this class now, don't let the ratings scare you, she is a good and fair teacher. she makes you learn the material, that's her job! offers lots of xtra credit. she is nice as long as you listen and follow directions. very fair. her test was harder than I expected but I didn't study as much as I should have. still possible xtra credit!

Professor Cole is a very debonaire women who is sophisticated and alarmingly intelligent. Though she is young she is well read and relates well to the students and issues of polic sci. Her charm and persona are unique and impressed me tremendously when I met her and took the class. She grades fair and likes to give A's to students. Terrific!!

She is the greatest!! Nice warm personality who loves to tell jokes and make students laugh. Makes the students feel comfortable. She's really good!!!!!

Ms. Cole is outstanding as a teacher and prepares you for the "current" real world. She is gracious and open for real debate and discussion but be prepared! If you can back up your opinion with facts and reasonable arguments you will go far in this class. If you can't then you will get buried! I loved it! A must class for poli students at LACC!

she seems like a hard professor but she is good. She explains everything very well and if you study the material and notes you will pass. Just pay attention to your syllabus on the due dates.

Pr. Cole is a professional who is in love with her subject. Her lectures are intense and informative. Debate is incouraged. She takes time to answer all your questions after the class. You have to be very organized and meet all the deadlines. In general, this woman is utterly charming, and has a great sense of humor. Her class is a delight!

I was wooried but actually She is a wonderful person! I like the class and she really cares about people....she connects w/ students and makes it fun!

Good teacher and easy to approach, pleasure to have as a teacher.

I took the 8 days class. The class was not boring or hard. Do the assignments and you will pass. Take the 8 days class not the 15 weeks class.

explains everything throughly and clearly. her class was very interesting and there are opportunities for extra credit. You do have to study for her tests.

She's kinda nice... Ms. Annie Cole informs her students a lot... but she gives low grades for essay. The book is the pillar of her class so just read and read your book! You'll always meet her OHP (overhead projector)...it's always there except exam days... We watched 3 films which is kinda boring except for the broken chain. class is running fast!

She is extremely clear and super easy. She has the ability to be somewhat condescending. She feels that it's her duty to make you think and become politically active. If you are already well versed in politics, you will find her somewhat unchallenging.

Prof. Cole is the best!!!! She is awesome!! Love her so much!!! She is a wonderful woman and exceptional human being. Highly recommended!!! You will learn.

Wonderful professor. You will learn a lot. Be careful though, she is a bit impersonal, a little condescending, and ridiculously strict about little things like headings and what not. FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS!!! Read your book!

Slightly moody. She expect college students to specific directions. Don't expect an A if you don't read chapters, prepare in advance for tests, and critically think. Test are multiple choice, some questions are somewhat confusing. Attendance is mandatory. Lectures are informative. I'm a good student struggling with high C or low B.

Okay,you are in college to learn something. Prof. Cole is not only super smart, fun, and interesting, she is also caring and extremely clear about her expectations.Of course you have to follow directions...imagine grading 200 papers each written in a different format. Wow, time to grow up and realize the world does revolve around your needs only.

She is one of the best teacher's I have ever had! She is funny, smart and beautiful. I learned alot of discipline from her class. She was born to teach!

She puts on a show at the beginning. This is done to weed out the slackers. I was kind of intimidated at first, but she turns out to be a very good professor. I would recommend her. DO YOUR ASSIGN WORK. You will pass. Her test is kinda of hard, in that it has multiple possible answer.

She makes a hoopla when people don't show up or do the assigned work, but there's a little give, too. I was avoiding this class for years, but this semester I didn't miss a class or a beat, excited to hear what else she had to say. She is facinating, but hers is not a class for slackers. You need to read the book, and how.

Honestly, everyone is complaining about how mean she is, and yes, she was a little condescending at first, but she's turned out to be pretty cool and funny. A bit biased, but smart and she DOES answer all questions. The tests are not hard at all and I've gotten A's on all of them simply by reading the chapters the night before. Enjoyed the class.

The first time I met professor Cole was through a dicussion forum with myself and another professor, she turely inspired me both in the dicussion forum and in her classroom. Super intelligent woman. Lazy people dont take her, focus people jump right in, you will learn alot. She even gave me a book to help widen my knowledge.

while she does seem a bit biased, she will never make a claim without supporting it. i never thought i'd be interested in politics but i'm really glad i took her class. i read just about all i need to in the book, and i got an A in the class. she does reviews before tests but it won't help you if you haven't read the textbook. this class isn't easy

Professor Cole is a wonderful instructor who will teach you the right way. She cares that students learn and for that you will be a better student after completing the course. Nice Woman!

Best teacher I've had in PolSci. She does care about students learning about politics and critically thinking. If you are lazy don't even bother taking her class you'll just fail.

I just finished up Poli Sci in the Spring and thought it was a great course. I highly recommend taking her. The textbook reading is obviously up to you, but the lectures were definitely above average, also very entertaining. She was crystal clear, knowledgeable, passionate, and very engaging. If you make an honest effort, you should be alright.

All you really have to do is read and you should be fine. If you read before class, everything she goes over is what you have already read. Has one EASY research paper,and no homework. GREAT TEACHER!

Professor Cole has lots of LOVE to GIVE and is a WONDERFUL PROFESSSOR! DON"T believe BAD REVIEWS. They are fabricated and unsubstantiated. This Professor has been around the world and met very important and sophisticated people like herself. She is a well traveled and an educated LAWYER. Very smart and powerful.

She is little bit biased and sometimes mean, but she is fair professor! If you didn't study hard, of course you would get bad score. but if you study hard and listen to what she says in every lecture, you would get good score! Most exams are from textbook and quiz on E-tunes. I got B because I studied hard.

She is A POWERFUL! Black Woman! Will Prepare you for Law School. SHE IS A POWERFUL LAWYER AT THE MOMENT BUT WILL BE BACK AFTER NEXT SEMESTER. She is Powerful and can make you cry!
