A&P is hard, but she is a great professor. She is encouraging and gives the students plenty of oppertunities to succeed in the course. She makes class interesting, fun and challenging. Other students and faculty recommend her for the Anatomy courses, that speaks multitudes. If you heard she is hard, it is the course, she wants you to succeed.

The course is hard, but she gives you plenty to do to help you succed. She teaches how to study science and helps you pull together the concepts to see the big picture. I have gotten into my nursing program at a local university, and I have to say I have a better understanding of the human body and how to think on my feet because of her.

Course is hard. Do the study guides and you will see what to expect on exams. Group work questions were hard but you get points for trying not for being right, the questions make you think about the whole concepts. You will be a better science student if you follow her lead, she is an amzing professor, I would take any biology course from her.

If you see her name for a course sign up for it she is awesome. You may hear she is hard, I don't agree with that, she does expect you to do the work. If you do the work especially the online questions she has for you, there is no reason why you couldn't pass the course. You will learn a lot from her and how to succeed, she is a great professor.

I kept hearing she was the best professor to take, I heard she was hard, I heard she made class interesting, that she helps students succeed. Now that I have had her as an instructor I can say she is the best, I do not think she is hard, but she does expect you to do the work. I have learned and gained so much from being in her class.

Dr. Langworthy is awesome. I have had three semesters with her and she is a wonderful teacher and she is hysterical! If you get the chance to take one of her classes you really should. She has taught me so much about A & P and I really love the class! She is not an easy teacher but as long as you do your work, you will do well in the class.

Dr. Langworthy is an amazing teacher. She makes classes fun and interesting and has her own input as well. You must do the work to do well. I had other teachers for a&p and she was the only one that help me through it, I learned alot. If you get a chance take her class.

She is amazing. I have learned so much from her, she knows her stuff and she is so willing to help her students learn. She was always willing to help. Do the study guides she puts online and you can't go wrong. One of the most beautiful woman I have ever met inside and out. You end up being captivated by her presence which makes learning fun.

I learned so much from her. She made the class interesting, taught me how to approach science and understand it. I have gained a lot of confidence from being in her class. Take her class you won't be disappointed. Do the online study guides, they are helpful in seeing how you understand the material from book, lecture, and prepare for test.

I am now in the nursing program, and I can say I wish I had more professors like Ms. Langworthy, she teaches you how to problem solve in the human body and comprehend.some students complain she requires to much work, no, she expects you to do what is needed to learn the info. Wait till you are in your program and cover 300-400pgs/week.She is great.

I work 2 jobs and am a single mom of 3, I am thankful she gave me extra resources to study so I could pass the class, she follows the same syllabus as other instructors, she is awesome, be thankful for her.

She was an excellent professor, as long as you do not mess around and take the course seriuosly, she will respect you and help you in anyway you need. She comes off as a tough professor, but really cares that you do well in the end. I am exceptionally prepared for my upper science classes because of her.

Fantastic. Lays a clear path for success in her class on day one. Very honest, answers questions thoughtfully, stops to explain anything that a student is struggling with. Seems to truly care about the students and their future. Best teacher I've ever had.

She is not rude,that last comment is bunk. She will answer any question, makes time for any student, even ones that are not in her class. Makes class interesting and as fun as possible. She gives you everything you need to succeed. Be glad she makes you work hard, it prepares you for the harder work coming. This is who you want to learn from!!!

I am a transient student, who took A&PII at stark. Her reputation for preparing students and giving high quality teaching extends beyond stark, It was recommended I take her. Having been at a large University and working on a second bachelors, my first one is in education. Students at Stark do not know how lucky they are to have her, true gem!

Just and FYI. I am in the nursing program at stark, half of the class had her, and was well prepared for the rigors of the program because of her. She is who you want to prepare you for your program hands down. Not rude, answers questions, funny, give lots of her clinical experiences to explain topics.

I have only great things to say about this professor. She gives you ALL the tools to succeed. You really do earn your grade, no tricks whatsoever. Study hard & stay on top of you work! Staying positive about the material helps. I have learned so much this semester b/c of her. So thankful for her!=)

One of the most caring, hard working professors I have had in my experience. I was excited to attend her class despite it being one of the toughest courses i have taken. She is straight forward and answers every question. She made me feel like I could handle any challnege, she is so encouraging, she is truly amazing!!!

Super caring, great instructor, gives lots of examples. Sets it up so you can succeed. Not rude, if a person feels stupid for asking a question that is their personal issue. she answered every question thoughtfully. Amazing woman, truly an amazing catch for Stark State.

Great teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her subject and it shines through in her lectures. She is the first teacher who has ever been able to help me understand the concepts of Chemistry, and it was because of how clearly she explains things. I would recommend taking one of her classes one hundred times over.

helps you develope the skills you need to succeed. The nursing advisor reccomend her for the program, stating she really prepares students for the rigors of the program. I worked hard in the class but she is excellent at explaining info, has workshops, video. I earned my grade and I appreciate her instruction and support :)

She continues to impress with her method of teaching. She reads the class very well and keeps interest level high. She makes time for students and clarifies all course material. Gives tools for you to succeed, you just have to use them.

I appreciated her using lay terms and then correct terms to help students learn, clinical stories to help apply the info. She gave all essays up front and if you ask for help she helped, she goes over the topics of the essays in class to. She created videos, pictures, workshops and homework all to help students learn. She is awesome at her job!

Answers every question, does group work in lab and lecture, gives clues how to break down application questions and essays, created videos for lecture review of hard topics and anatomy in lab, provides practice test, runs workshops, provides pictures of lab models. Answers emails on time. She is awesome take her. How is that over your head, duh?

Explains things well, I love the examples she gives. I liked how she asked us what we already knew in the chapter and built upon it. I learned a lot, take her, she is the best!

Works hard with you to make sure you are prepared for whats coming. Does group work for points including essay quizzes where you work with a partner. Answers every question, creates study guides, videos, workshops, practice test. A lot of the other instructors use the stuff she created in their classes. Don't miss out on taking her.

The lectures were detailed. She always answers questions in a way that the student can understand. The class was challenging, but she made it fun! She also was there for each of her students. Cant wait to take her again!

Ms. Langworthy is the rudest person I have ever met, & I don't think she realizes she is being rude. She refused to answer a students question because she felt they knew the answer already. She goes off topic a lot, & I have no idea where her test questions come from. Unless you want to spend all your time on this class take it with another prof.

She is awesome! Uses the Calendar so you know exactly when things are going to happen. What those others are talking about? Uses PPT, videos, mini reviews, group work, practice test,answers every question asked, funny, caring, supportive. Online test to take when your ready, essay quizzes are done as a team. Provides lots of time for tutoring.

She gives a lot of pointers to how the information will be used in future classes and tries to show the relationship between concepts. Answers every question and encourages us. Answers any question we have.

I thought she was really funny and I really liked her. I thought the class was very hard though. Tests are online in the testing center.

The negative one about where do her exam questions come from, her practice test duh. Gives every student access to potential questions on her exams so they can see what she might ask and to help you learn the information. Will go over them with you during office hours. Uses the calendar for all assignments. Is great. She is not rude, helpful.

Awesome Professor! Funny as Hell. She challenges you, she knows her stuff. Exams are online, have 6 days to complete them. Has study groups to go over class material. Gives homework, but provides enough points to where it is easy to get 100% on it. Answers emails. Does group work and group quizzes. Take her you wont regret it!

Seriously LOVED her! I'm a junior and she is by far my favorite professor I've EVER had! She welcomes you to come see her during office hours and is good at replying with emails in a timely manner. She was born to teach, she's one of a kind! She makes you work for your grade but stay on task and take advantage of her help and you'll pass with ease!

I had MsLang for A & P 1 and A & She is amazing. Gives you everything you need to succeed. FUNNIEST PERSON ON EARTH. Loves cats & her man crush. You have to study for this class regardless of who you take it with.

She offered lots of options to prepare for the tests, which were mostly online and open for a week. She really knew her stuff and encouraged questions and class discussions. I really learned a lot in this class. She can get off topic at times but is hilarious. Highly recommended.

Started taking AP at another university, came to Stark to retake it. Students don't understand how awesome it is to have her as their professor. She breaks down the information so everyone can understand, holds study groups (what other professor does that? none.) practice test. I never had such an intelligent, caring and supportive professor.

Why she is the best AP instructor. Well organized, always knew what to expect. Held 3 Study groups a week. Week window for exams was super helpful for managing , school work and kids. Practice Test, study guides, used animations and drawings. Notes in the book store. MAP HMWK extra points. Answered emails within 24 hours. Always made time us.

Awesome lady. Cares about her student's, spends time go over things that are tricky, does group work. She understands what it means to be a student with a full time job and a family, the way she sets up the course it shows. So smart but teaches like she is just talking with you about the body. Learned so much, wish she taught Micro too.

Read the last rating, she used both pre made questions and her own, which she made clear from the beginning. Gave practice test where some of the questions were used on the actual test, told us in person and online what the essays were over. Held study groups, answered emails on time, even recorded lectures for student review. She is awesome!

AWESOME!!! Answered emails in under 24 hours, powerpoints provided, recorded lecture reviews, study groups, practice test, write up on what she wants you to get out of each chapter. Goes over the physiology to help you see entire pic of homeostasis. Helps guide you to the answer. She helps you develop your thinking.

Professor Annissa Langworthy is by far the best Anatomy & Physiology teacher I have ever had (& I took this class twice before). This was my 3rd time taking Anatomy and she finally just made it click for me. She is very inspirational, accessible outside of class, has clear grading criteria, hilarious, and gives extra credit. You will not regret it!

Amazballs! She is available to any student, lets classes pick how they want to review or be lectured to. Practice test, pre-recorded lectures, study groups, funny, helpful, helps guide you through the information. Lots of study resources. Some rude students that were disrespectful, not called for, she is the best I've had at Stark and Akron.

She pushed me to think harder than I had before in any class. However, she was there to answer any questions, and help me think about the material differently. She even met with me online when I wasn't able to come to campus. She is by far the best instructor I have had, I feel prepared for nursing school because of what I learned from her.

Good lectures, she seems to know everything about what she is lecturing on, and i did admire that, I got an Easy A. most of all she is always available if you have a question.

This was by far the most difficult class Ive taken. READ! Professor Langworthy is not easy but she is really accessible outside of class so make sure you reach out when you need help!!

Prof Langworthy is by far one of my favorite professors that I have ever had. You have to work hard and show up to class to maintain a good grade. This class was one of the harder ones I have taken but prof Langworthy was more than helpful to me. Definitely choose her!

Literally the easiest A I've ever gotten. it's impossible to fail this class. SO much extra credit and a lot of open note assignments. However professor langworthy is still present and pushing you to think critically, clearly defined expectations, and organized. Definitely recommend.

She makes you use your brain, gives chapter guides to help you break it down. Holds review sessions, gives homework and an opportunity to do over an exam so you can show your learned it for a better grade. Hard class, great professor answered my emails quickly.

She is a wonderful person who care about how her students learn and feel included in the class. She gives study guides, practice test, held review sessions and gave do over test at the end of the semester, so we could improve our grade and understanding. Replied to emails, she understands students, love her, take her for the difficult classes

I took her class in person and she was amazing! If you do all the work you will get a good grade she gives lots of extra credit. The test are hard but she gives lots of extra credit. I'm not a good test taker so this class works perfectly. She's a professor that wants you to succeed. The only problem was she will explain over your head.

Be aware, at least in the online class, the chapters are reviewed on your own, and then you must join her student led study group to review for tests. She will answer any questions but she will not assume you have them. If you ask questions she answers very thoroughly but this class is dependent on student engagement. Be prepared to work for it.

She had overview videos, helpful videos, study guides, and review sessions. She listens to students and designed the test to only be over 2 chs at a time instead of 4 like in the other classes. Answered every email. She doesn't curve or give extra credit but she gives bonus points and she gives opportunities to retake an exam for a higher grade.

This is for Study of diseases. Knows a lot and is so interesting to listen too, great at explaining physiology. has review sessions, chapter guides, plenty of opportunities to earn points. Gives great feedback and will let you submit early to get the most points possible on case studies. Work as a team to build skills and reduce work

Tons of opportunity for extra credit if youre willing to do the work, very good teacher as well

I enjoyed this class the most compared to all my other A&P classes. She was a great professor because she taught the concepts thoroughly and made class fun. Definitely recommend you take her for this course.

She provides lots of opportunities to show what we learn and improve. I like that she would lecture some and then have us work on worksheets then before we left class she would go over what we worked on to make sure everyone had correct information. I liked having these to study from and it helped me prepare for exams.

She is an Awesome Prof. created study guides for each chapter, held study sessions most weeks, even came into open lab early to help us prepare for practicals. She had helpful videos for each unit, practice test and gave us all an opportunity for more points in the course with short homework assignments.
