this guy is crazy. he gives out grad level work for a 100 level class.. dont do it to yourself.

He is not easy but he wants you to learn the course and knows what he is talking about. His class is never boring.

dr lamar is 1 of the elegant professors on campus. he eductes very well , but inorder too want to pass u have to put effort forth in his work(test) and in showing up for class. overall Dr. lamar is one of a kind. dig it!

Although the test are somewhat hard, If you study the book and understand the material, you will do fine. His class is easy if you make it easy for yourself. You must come to class and pay attention or you will end up falling behind. It's a fun class and you will comfortable being their.

The class was very interesting and the Dr. LaMar is a great professor. He makes the class fun with a whole bunch of group activities. Make sure you read the chapters and take the online tests on time. He gives you 3 chances..it's really easy to get an A.

Lamar is a great professor.. knows his stuff.... always has the class interact so that they can understand him better. but dont be late cause he wont let you in. very nice. very helpful. only professor i know who is interested in the students input. encourages questions. no homework. but alot of quizes. you HAVE TO READ THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!

Lamar isnt hard, its college, you are supposed to be able to read and put time into the class. I will admit, at times, the amount of quizes were to the extreme, you had three chances to take them! he always let you make it up if u miss it, gives so much extra crdt. UNDERSTANDING. he will help you if you need it. but then again, its NOT an EASY A

Most amazing professor I have ever had. Although be sure not to take morning classes if you can't make it on time, i made that mistake. I did badly only because i missed the class but he really tries to help his students. Unlike most professors, he actually cares...A LOT!

dr. lamar makes the class discussion very FUN! almost like high school again, class attendence are not required but than again his classes are interesting so you wouldnt want to miss them. his quizzes and the exams are hard though. i failed the class becuase i didnt take the quizzes .. but i will def. take him again.

Dr. Lamar is probably one of the best professors I've ever had. However, his tests are very hard. His lectures aren't on the tests or quizzes; you basically have to read the book and teach yourself so MAKE SURE YOU DO THE READING AS TOLD ON THE SYLLABUS. Overall, I recommend taking him.

Dr.Lamar is the man. His tests and quizzes are hard but come on, its college. His tests aren't about memorizing terms; they're about full understandment.

Lamar is one of the best professors in Njcu.He treats you like you are suppose to be treated;as a college student.His lectures are always fun and engaging.Listening and taking notes helps you understand the general concept of the chap,but you MUST READ,as about 75% of the test comes from the book.You actually earn the grade and learn something.

Great Professor. Yes you work hard and must participate and must come to class..If you are not willing to try then yes you will fail. For the people who fail I am unsure..But he wants to see your effort. Get involved in the class and he will reach out to you. Sit back and watch everything and you receive nothing.

one of the best professors at NJCU! yes his test are hard but hey who says all test are easy. his class is really interesting. he makes you interact with one another. he is actually a very funny guy. i will surely take him again.

hes an awesome professor just know that you have to read a lot... if you dont read then you most likely will not pass. he trys to understand you and he will make attempts to help you if you ask. he likes when people visit him at his office he says thats what makes him know your a good student something like that. good luck

Dr.Lamar is a great proffessor and know what he's talking about, yes the tests are challenging but thats because he want's us to understand the material, he is extremly helpfule and makes the class enjoyable.If you want to learn definetly take any class that he is teaching.

Its NOT IMPOSSIBLE to get an A!The secret is to use the study guide or access card he tells u about in the beginning of the semester. And of course READ.I got an A &Im only a freshman.He's super sweet &expects everyone to pay attention in class hence the "put me on the spot" thing.Funny & lively and such an enjoyable class.Im taking another w/ him

dr.lamar's intro to psych class was one of the most fun and engaging courses i have ever taken. he makes everyone interact, which means there is never a dull moment in class. some find this class difficult, but if you read and write down his notes you'll pass. also, be sure to hand in your book report!!

I took him for intro to psych. Book is needed. He is an excellent professor. U will never be bored he keeps u engaged. His tests are hard but this is college. Expect to do work and learn a lot. Attend class u do not want to miss his lessons.

Its NOT impossible to get an A in Dr.Lamar's class!Do the extra credit!ALWAYS show up to class!READ the textbook b/c thats whats on the exams.He makes the class extremely interesting!U do have to work hard (as in read & study) but its really worth it.If u read the textbook,the exams are easy.I got 70s,80s,& a 62 on exams,did EC,& got an A.TAKE HIM!

This is my third time taking professor Lamar. He is a fantastic professor. Definitely not an easy A, so if that's what you're searching for, avoid him. Otherwise, if you're willing to learn and do the work, take him. His tests are difficult and can be tricky, you must be willing to read the chapter 2-3 times before the test.

You have to read the textbook for this class. He gives you notes in class but none of it is helpful, so you MUST read from the text. All he ever talks about in class is how to get a guy/girl. He didn't keep up with the class syllabus. Interesting class but did not learn anything.

You will need book for class, he gives notes but tests are straight from book. So make sure you read and re-read chapters. He is entertaining, but he can put students on the spot.If you are shy it can be a bit intimidating. He is a tough grader but gives you chances for extra points. You will learn lots. Attendance not mandatory. Good Luck!

Professor Lamar is an amazing professor. Do not let the ratings fool you. He is very entertaining and makes the class very interesting. He work is challenging and he expects the best from every one of his students but that's what a professor does. I would definitely take another class of his. Best professor. He gives no homework so all you really have to do is read the chapter. He goes over some stuff in class, but not enough to pass the test. His tests are super hard and you will need to read the book. Interesting dude, super nice, and he cares about his students.

Lamar is highly respected. Great professor & actually knows what he's talking about. His lecturers are very informative and no class was wasted. His tests are pretty hard, but theyre all M.C. and can be passed if you read the textbook, pay attention and study. He does give pop quizzes and assigns a 8-10 page book report in the end.

Just finished this online class. He's definitely hard BUT if you give yourself time to do the work you will be fine. Yes, the midterm and final were pretty lengthy and VERY tough but it wasn't that bad. That being said, stats online is a bad idea no mater who is teaching it but I learned a lot from this man.

LaMar's class helped me discover my true work ethic. He knows that his students are capable of doing more than they limit themselves to. If you are weak minded and like to take the easy way out of things do not take this class. However, if you want to actually learn and push yourself to the limit this class is perfect. I learned so much from Lamar

This professor will bring out your true work ethic. Lots of reading and homework but he's always available to answer any questions. Exams are difficult too, you need to really understand the work to do well on them. Do the extra credit when he gives it because it helps balance out your grade. Hard class to take online you need to teach yourself.

Dr. LaMar is brilliant. He gives good feedback and is available when needed, but he runs a tight ship. He breaks up the semester into modules and provides a concise calendar with due dates for every assignment and exam. The workload is reasonable. He has high expectations and has helped me improve my time management skills. Excellent professor.

I enjoyed having this prof!! It is true that he will make you work for your grade. He has high standards and it will help you in your college career and beyond because he teaches you to be accountable and work hard. Would def take him again!

Really loved this cours one of the best Ive ever taken. Loved the professor hes extremely smart and makes the class enjoyable!

He is a tough grader but he only wants the best for his students. He is very active when he teaches and uses the students for examples during the lesson. I would take him again but he only likes to teach in the morning.
