I took her for Intro Poli Sci. Very easy as long as you follow the study guides given and do all assignments. I got an A.
LOVED! Professor Sane. She is very clear and concise in what she wants and is looking for. She remembers names and faces so if youre doing well or showing up to class a lot she will know who you are. Make sure she does because she will let you know if youre doing well or if you need to do better and sometimes that is all you need! A MUST TAKE !
GREAT teacher, straightforward syllabus, fair grading. Professor Sane was always willing to help with any questions, but the course materials and workload were both very easy. TAKE HER for a relatively easy A in Political Science!
She is a great professor her lectures are amazing. She makes things easy to understand and she is persistent when it comes to feedback. Must come to class though and also participate to earn a good grade in the class and actually study or pay attention to lectures. Always gives out study guides in advance and they are true to form.
Great.
Interesting class. Not many tests so the ones you take re really important for your final grade.
Prof Sane is a great teacher. Make sure to attend and participate in class discussions. (Stay up to date on current affairs). The test reviews are extremely helpful.
Professor Sane is a great! She is very nice but sarcastic at times. The class all itself is easy if you study and do the paper. only 2 test and one paper and a presentation grade. Would definitely take her again!
In order to pass the class, you must attend. But overall, the course is easy. There aren't that many tests and homework is very rare. The only thing is a three page single spaced essay but other than that there is hardly any work.
Dr. Sane is a very sweet woman and makes everything clear for you the first day of class with the syllabus. If you go to office hours she will definitely help you out and know where you're standing in terms of your class grade. Overall all an easy A but make sure you follow directions and show up to class for attendance.
Dr. Sane is an excellent professor. She was very clear and concise on the first day of class about this course and she follows her Syllabus to a "T"! She gives a few extra credit opportunities but attending class regularly is a necessity. Class participation is also important, she loves engaging in conversation about current events!
Dr. Sane is great! She was very clear and concise on the first day of class about this course. She follows her syllabus to a "T". She will give a few extra credit opportunities, she tells you what to expect for her tests. She loves engaging in open discussions about international current events so attending class regularly is a necessity.
Professor Sane is great! She makes things very easy to understand and gives real life examples. Attendance is taken every class and affects your grade, so its not a good idea to skip. There are few tests and homework and she does give plenty opportunities for extra credit. Overall, great class. I would recommend to other students.
Gives a lot of room for extra credit. Study guides are essentially the tests. Attendance matters; it's 15% of your grade. One essay due at the end of the semester.
There's is no reason not to pass Into to Political Science. She thoroughly reviews each chapter, provides study guides and reviews them before each exam. She provides extra credit throughout the semester. Participation may really improve you're grade. There isn't a lot of homework, but she assigns a research paper that you have months to complete.
The course is good. As long as you come to class and do the work, you should be fine.
Dr. Sane gives lectures that mimic her exams. When exams come up, she gives a review sheet in which all the material is on the exam. Make sure that you come to class because participation helps and she gives random extra credit. Be sure to ALWAYS follow her specific instructions. Not an easy A, but it is a interesting course.
1st half of the semester is lead by her. 2nd by the class... ur expected to know the 2nd stuff on the final... so come to class after the midterm
Dr. Sane is a very passionate professor. Her class is not strenuous at all. Stay on top of your work & go to class. Study the study guides because they're just like the test. I appreciated that she didn't try to trick us and give tests that have nothing to do with the material like a lot of other professors do. I definitely recommend her class.
Test are not bad just make sure you read the chapter andor take good notes in class. You can she is really passionate about the subject but Political Science just isn't my thing. But if you have to take this course I would definitely recommend her. Just get ready for the 3 page single space paper on political controversies (if your not a fast wri
This class wasn't too bad. Come everyday and participate and you won't do bad.
Dr. Sane is a very helpful teacher and her tests are pretty easy, attendance and participation are important because she likes to discuss a lot. Also even if you aren't doing that well, she gives lots of opportunity to do extra credit. There is one paper, she grades hard for it!!!
I am not a poli sci major but I am interested in politics. Dr Sane is really good at giving lectures and she tries to give as much extra credit as possible, but if you show up to class and do your work you will not necessarily need it. I would take her even if you don't like politics.
Take notes to do well on tests and to learn about politics around the world. Do the work and participate, you'll be fine. I would definitely recommend her class for anyone.
This class was exceptionally easy and Professor Anta Sane gives extra credit opportunities. She wants everyone to get an "A" in the class. Just show up to class for participation points and read the textbook, and you'll get an "A."
I enjoyed taking this class. really helped in deciding what i would pursue with a minor in Political Science. Very helpful and clear about how students would be graded. we had more papers than test and it was a great format. definitely take this course with this professor if you really want to learn the material.
Dr. Sanes class is not hard at all as long as you show up to get your attendance grade and study the review sheets that she gives before every test. The review sheet has everything you need to know for the test, and other than that you just have one group project and one paper.
Great Class! She was very open and understanding of what the class really wanted. Tests are very straightforward just read carefully. Class does have group projects.
She really likes class participation, if you pay attention, you should do fine.
She really likes class participation, if you pay attention and take notes, you should do fine.
Professor Sane is a pretty straightforward professor. Just make sure you take advantage of her extra credit ,come to class, and follow her instructions. She is not out to make the class super difficult. She is willing to help you get an A, but you have to be willing to put in the work and participate in class. Follow the study guides for quizzes.
Intro to political science is a great course if you're interested in world politics. Participation definitely matters so come to class every day with a current event. She gives extra credit but only if you participate and are trying. Her tests follows a study guide she gives out so be sure to know everything on the guide.

She is willing to help you get an A, but you have to put in the work and participate in class. Follow the study guides for quizzes and take notes during lectures.
Intro to Political Science with Dr. Sane was not bad at all. Everything is clearly stated on the syllabus. The quizzes are practically based on everything you learn in class. She also gives you a study guide for every test. There is one presentation and one essay. If you go to her for assistance, she will definitely help you with your essay.
Anta Sane was a great professor. She is very helpful if there is something you don't understand from the assigned readings or the tests. Keeping up with current events is essential and gives you easy participation points. I highly recommend this professor.
Professor Sane's class is very straight forward. Just make sure to attend all classes and participate.
Attendance is basically mandatory. She notices when you are not there. You have to sign-in for each class, and if you're not showing up to class, it will reflect in your grade. The tests are pretty easy. She gives a couple extra credit opportunities. We had to do group presentations on specific chapters at the end, which sucked. But that's school.
I recommend this class !
I recommend this class.
She's a professor that cares about the progression of her students. Attendance is necessary, and lectures are long, but there are plenty of opportunities to get a good grade. She's down to earth and wants her students to win. I had one group assignment, one paper, and two tests.
Come to class to sign in(she'll eventually realize if you have a friend signing you in) and have your current events for your region. She gives plenty of extra credit. She also gives study guides for each test that if you go through and answer everything you're set for the test. There was only one paper.
I really like Dr. Sane. It's clear that she is passionate about what she teaches and it's refreshing. Be in class and always have political news to share because she'll bump up your grade. Her handwriting makes it tough to read her notes sometimes, but she always clarifies because she knows that. I hate the subject, but she's great.
It is clear that that Dr. Sane loves what she does. Read the book and pay attention to the lectures and you will be able to get A's on the quizzes. If you attend all classes she will begin to know you by name which is helpful when it comes to final grading. Make sure you go to class because she pays attention to that.
I'm really interested in international affair, so if you also have a seeded interest in the topic this is the class for you. Professor Sane is great professor, she may be considered tough by some students standards but she's really not. Follow her instructions, participate during class, and follow the syllabus's guidelines & you will be just fine.
This was a great class! Professor Sane is very knowledgeable and passionate about politics. It's easy to get a good grade if you attend class regularly, do the study guide for tests, and take advantage of the many extra credit opportunities. There were two tests and a final. Other than that, there was only one paper and one group presentation.
She's cool but you have to go to class. She'll review whats on the test right before so you are prepared. There's a paper and a group project at the end. Don't wait until the last minute to get started. She's helpful & open. I would take her again.
Professor Sane is very passionate about politics. Attendance plays a huge role in your grade. There are 2 quizzes (pretty much exams), a final, a paper, and a group presentation. She provides study guides before the tests and gives many extra credit opportunities. As long as you do what you are supposed to, you should get an A.

She is a really good teacher. She has 2 tests, one group project and a paper. its very hard to fail this class.
She teaches stright from the book, but you need to go to class becasue participation still counts as a grade. There are three tests and one paper. Test three is the final and it's not cumulative.
She's a really good professor. Attendance is a big part of your grade, so make sure you come to class (there's a sign-in sheet). There are 3 tests, a paper, and a group project. She goes over all the material that will be on the test, and gives study guides. She's understanding if you take the time to talk to her.
Decent teacher
Its honestly not hard, as long as you have the book and like to read.
This class is not hard at all only if you attend the lectures, participate in discussions, and turn in all assignments. Her reviews give everything that is on the test, so there is no reason why you should fail them. She gives one essay and one group project. Her lectures are not too boring and the information is easy to understand.

the class isn't hard as long as you have the book and actually read it
Amazing from start to finish.
Professor Anta Sane is a very pleasant woman. She cares about her students, and actually wants us to learn something. Everything she teaches is in the textbook, so you will be fine as long as you read and retain the information.
I loved this class. Ana Sane really knows what she is talking about. She is a stickler for attendance and she grades papers hard, but she will give you a lot of opportunities to get extra credit
Dr. Sane is a great professor and I learned so much from her course, however if you are looking for an easy A, this class is not for you. I earned an A but I had to work hard for it. The good news is that she is always very helpful and loves to work with the students, she has been so helpful and kind and I would certainly take her again.
Easy class. Attendance is key. But she gives opportunities for extra credit. Its best to take advantage of them.
Professor Sane has been one of the most genuine professors I've learned with thus far, you can tell that she genuinely enjoys teaching and wants her students to be as into the subject as she is. She cares about student opinions and the best for all. Class is interesting, express your thoughts and opinions, do well on the few tests and you're fine.
Everything is clear cut. Do the work, take notes, and study and you will be fine.
Professor Sane is clear on what she wants on assignments and what is on the tests. Attendance and participation is important. She gives a good amount of extra credit opportunities. Work hard and you will do well in her class.
She is a really helpful professor. Tests are exactly like the study guide and all the answers to the study guide are in textbook. If you are willing to do the work you will pass.
Good teacher! Just show up to class and participate. Test are just like the study and she goes over the study guide before the test.
This is an interesting professor. She will challenge you, but even if you do the bare minimum - you will be able to focus on the exams and papers to get out of this course successful!
Great Professor.
This professor was amazing. This was my second time taking her class and I would gladly take another one. Not only does she communicate well with the students, she makes sure you understand the content prior to the exams. Great class!
Professor Sane is a very respectful and passionate professor. She tends to value participation and attendance. Although her lectures may be long and sometimes confusing, you can go to her office hours for clarity. She takes attendance every day, so do not try to have someone to sign you in because she takes notice to everyone who is present.
She is a great professor and I recommend her for the intro to political science course. Her grading policy is very fair and she gives a lot of extra credit.
Prof. Sane was very reasonable. Her lectures may seem long but her power points were very helpful for tests. She takes attendance, so go to class, and be sure to stay up on current events.
The course textbook wasn't really needed until the second half of the semester. The notes taken in class seem just as useful if not more useful for taking tests.
Professor Sane isn't not a hard teacher her study guides resemble exactly what she is going to put on an exam.
I expected to get an A out of the class. If you attend class and take notes then you can get an A. Also, make sure you have a current event ready for each class. And don't miss more than like four classes!
Nice professor who was willing to help me after I made a mistake on a paper. Really could save my GPA.
go to class and study you'll pass DON'T MISS CLASS THO!!!!
Dr. Sane is a brillant scholar, she understand international relations and the way state work with one another. However, she still has work to do in terms of clarifying grading criteria for some of her assignments. She is fair, and definitely tries to help you pass, just GO TO CLASS and use the study guide and you should be fine.
She is a very capable teacher that actually piqued my interest in global news. Like I actually watch the news now. She also made classes interesting with debates. Although she moves fast through the powerpoints, she provides study guides for tests. If you attend class and study, you should pass no problem.
Dr. Sane is very willing to help, but it takes the commitment of the student if you want to excel. She gives numerous extra credit opportunities, but she will not beg for you to take advantage; either you do or you don't. This class and professor allows you to determine your own destiny. An A is very feasible.
It was a good course, and I definitely learned a lot. Not just from her, but from my peers. I enjoyed the current events during the beginning of every class as well as the final presentation. Overall though, she was very helpful and if you needed help she was definitely there to guide you.
She helps prepare for tests and is not throwing curve balls. Just come prepared with a current event.
You need to attend all classes. Very important
Dr. Sane is a very informative teacher. She wants her students to learn the material; therefore, she is a stickler for attendance. However, she offers a multitude of ways to receive extra points. Just don't miss class and be thorough in projects and papers if you want to get an A.
Great professor. Very informative class. If you participate and read you will do well. You have to show that you care about learning and your grade and she will help you. No free A's or B's, but if you try she will help you get over the hump to the next highest grade.
Dr. Sane is a understanding and great professor. The only way you can do well in her class is to read, read, read, read. The course isn't easy but if you work with her, you'll definetely get the grade you deserve.
shes just a pretty easy teacher if you put half an effort in
This class made me more resourceful because it required us to keep up with current events like all politically conscious people should do.
This Professor is cool she takes attendance so go to class. She reviews the notes before we take the tests. The notes are the same as the test and she is very helpful and passionate!
She's a good teacher. She takes attendance, so you do have to show up to class. She genuinely wants her students to do well. She give extra credit. If you have a bad grade in the class she will give you many opportunities to improve your grade.
Good teacher, just go to class and do your work.
An exceptional teacher who really cares more about you learning than your grade. Her work isn't too hard, but if you serious about learning choose her. GO TO CLASS AND DO THE STUDY GUIDES!
She's not a cool person but ,she teaches straight from the text book. She is extremely anal about your answers being directly from there,if not you will not do well. Take the project directions seriously and you will get an A.
