Tony is the best teacher ever. He is so helpful. This was his first time teaching accouting.He is doing a great job. His class is so much fun. He tries to explain really well. I would recommend you to have him as your instructor. At the end i would say he is awesome.

High expectations: yes. Great teacher: yes. As for the "dorky" comment, I don't know how accurate it is but I suspect he is the type of guy that stays up all night playing video games in his moms basement. An enjoyable guy overall.

Probably the most respectful and fair prof that TRU has. Tony sticks to the course guide, no surprises. He provides plenty of examples in class, and follows up with homework to emphasize the lesson. TRU is very fortunate to have Tony as part of their faculty. Outstanding - highly recommend.

Really Great Teacher! He's helpful and approachable. His tests aren't easy but they are fair. If you do your homework, which is nearly every class, you'll do fine. I'd take more classes with Tony if I could.

Amazing teacher, probably one of the best at TRU. Answers questions directly, goes through relevant examples in class, provides lots of practice for students, and has a great personality. The only bad thing is that you may expect other teachers at TRU to be like him.. unfortunately, most are the exact opposite.

Great prof! Very clear lectures. If you go to the class and do the homework assignments you will have have no problem getting a high grade. No surprises on exams, nicely structured class. Like the video at the beginning of every class.

i really liked tony bell as a teacher, he knows accounting isnt fun, and made an effort to make it fun and exciting. and i found it really easy to understand what he was teaching

Tony is a great teacher! He's very approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful. I would highly recommend him. He gives lots of extra examples and PRACTICAL work to give you lots of practice. Accounting is practice not just theory as some profs should learn!

Amazing as a teacher, felt stupid for buying a text book when i've never opened it even once. Still got an A+ just listening and doing all assignments. Plus he posts vids online so you could easily do some classes online.

Cant say enough good about this guy. Super nice and very clear! Explains everything very well then upload videos to watch again later, amazing! Explains what will be on midterms and the final and doesn't try to trick students. Cant believe I hardly touched my textbook. Amazing teacher! Why cant TRU get more teachers like this?

Hands down best accounting teacher at TRU! You can tell he is truly passionate about teaching and accounting. He always takes time to go over the material multiple times until you understand it. Also has a top-notch moodle page, complete with youtube videos that go over every chapter of the course!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

He rocks! I wish he taught all my classes! He gets to the heart of the topic and then gives tons of questions to practice. He has created videos on various topics often starting out with material he lectured on. Great for review. Look forward to studying with him again.

Very good professor. Does in class examples for all chapters, and midterms and final are very similar to those questions done in class. He is an excellent prof that makes class entertaining, however, he expects you to know your stuff when it comes to midterms and finals. You get tested on everything at least once, and most chapters are on the final

The best prof at TRU, explains everything like you know nothing so its super clear and you wont get lost. Dont be late. Tons of videos on youtube so if you miss anything you can always go there. Exams are fair, nothing you've never seen.

Tony is a fantastic prof; certainly one of the best one's I've had. There are six "midterms" which means you're writing about one every two weeks. Sounds like a lot, but better than the alternative. There is a TON of material and Tony explains it in such a way that it really sticks with you! His tests are reasonable. Definitely take his courses!

Very much enjoyed taking his class via distance / online learning. I've taken a lot of online courses, both at the graduate and undergraduate level and unequivocally found Mr. Bell to be the best instructor yet. He gives detailed feedback and is the most progressive when it comes to incorporating tech into the curriculum.

Tony is the best teacher I have ever had at TRU. He is very clear with what youll be tested on and explains material extremely well. The work isnt easy, but if you go to class youll pass no problem. Dont be late to his classes though or he wont let you in.

Tony is, hands down, the best teacher on this planet. His videos are amazing and they are always accessible so if you missed a class you can watch a video and it will all be covered. He gives a lot of homework, and the answers with it - great materials for revision. All resources are available, (the textbook is free!!) so he expects high from you.

Tony is an amazing prof. Just watch the videos and practice. Attendance is not mandatory, however, he gives homework every class which contains marks. Midterms are easy but beware of the final. It is hard. You might do really bad if you do not practice.

I've never taken a class with this prof but i've watched his online accounting videos and he's a life saver. Learned more from him than my actual prof. This was one of the most genuinely interesting classes I've taken. Each lecture is a student presented case study, so there's a fair bit of reading. Two case study reports and the final exam (another case study) make up the vast majority of your grade, and he marks them very holistically, not with a rubric or anything.

Tony is the man. By far my favourite professor during my time at TRU. Grades fairly, allows time for questions, does everything he can to help you, and is genuinely a good guy. I had him for 4250 and 2250 which are easier classes but he still goes above and beyond to make sure everybody knows the material. Awesome lectures too.

Tony Bell is on of the best professors in TRU I bet. He is very knowledgeable and he tries to make concepts as easy as possible. He knows how to grab attention of each student and keep it for the whole 3 long hours. Never felt bored during his class! His marking is very clear and he discusses everything prior to exams. Want more courses with him!

Tony is a hero. For students, he is also very approachable. Your thoughts will be very clear in his class. His teaching is very strict and careful. Don't think about being lazy in class because you have no reason to reject his enthusiasm.

He is one of the best Professors that has taught me. He has online videos that would help you in his course. His classes are usually very interactive and he jokes a lot as well. He usually tells you what he is looking for in his exams and midterms. One can easily get all the grades in the course. Wish I can take another course with him.

Any upcoming first semester students, do not worry about Tony Bell. He is one of the best professors you'll encounter at TRU. Just solve the exercises in the workbook and you are 99% prepped for 2 of the midterms and the finals. Best of Luck!
