Mr. Carr's class was very interesting. He uses recent news stories to help the class better understand the materials. As I have read reviews of him on this website, it sounds like there was a student who just didn't want to study & took out their anger on him. He's actually a very approachable & helpful teacher. He focuses on what you need to pass.

Professor Carr really goes out of his way to help the class. When I had a family emergency, he gave me the chance to make up the homework and made sure I kept up with the class. He was very friendly too. I learned a lot from the class discussions and the times the class went over homework assignments. He is a very cool teacher.

I took the Govt 2306 class last Fall. Mr. Carr immediately stands out because he knows so much about government and our rights. And he is very nice looking. The homework assignments weren't hard. It just took time to find the answers in the book. Overall, he was a teacher that motivated us to do our best and I would recommend his class to anyone.

Mr. Carr comes to class with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. His lectures are not too long and he always shows us how government is working in the real world. I would recommend anyone take his class. He is super cool and makes government an interesting subject to learn.

Professor Carr made learning fun. Government wasn't so boring being in his class. What you put into the class you will get out of it. That's the truth. He is very smart and encourages everyone to study what interests them. I learned a lot and so will you.

Prof. Carr is, by far, one of the best professors I have had to date. I felt like he wanted everyone to find their own voice. He challenged us to think and to work as teams to find solutions and I learned a lot from that experience. I got the feeling that he worked hard so everyone could get a good grade. This was an interesting class. With so much in the news about unarmed people being killed, and people wanting to know what to do to be safe, Mr. Carr's class was right on time. There is a part of his class where he teaches everyone what to do if you come in contact with police and I learned a lot about my rights.

Mr. Carr is very passionate about government. He is a fighter and teaches you how to go out and fight for your rights. As a woman I felt very empowered by taking his class. We learned a lot of useful ways to exercise our freedoms and to make a difference in our community.

A lot of people take classes and wonder what did they learn or how can they apply the information to their lives. Mr. Carr makes sure that when you complete his class, you have some tools to take with you to make your life better. Participation matters and you'll miss something good if you try to take short cuts with your studies. He's awesome!!!!

I took Professor Carr's Federal Govt. class (GOV2305) this Spring. He explained the materials so well that I felt like I knew what it meant to be the President. His style keeps you wanting to know more and wanting to vote every chance you get. I left his class knowing more than I realized. Excellent teacher. And he's cute

Mr. Carr is a very kind and patient guy. He worked with me to ensure that I earned a grade I could be proud of. His class was also very interesting because of how he uses technology in class. If you want a teacher that listens and will do his best to make the class interesting, enroll for Mr. Carr's class.

Be sure to take Professor Carr's GOVT 2305 class. He is easy to approach about help in the class and he made the subject easy to understand. When I ran into trouble, I talked to him during office hours and he came up with a winning plan for me to pass his class. I am sure in an election year he will be even better!!!

Professor Carr starts off the semester by giving you the "keys" to cracking GOVT 2306. If you stick to the information he gives up front, it makes understanding the text (and his exams) SOOOOOOOO easy! He really knows how to show that government in always present and working in our lives. Bravo! Mr. Carr is the best!!

I took Mr. Carr's online class for GOVT 2305. He responds very fast to any questions or concerns I had about the class. He is also very nice and provides really useful feedback.

I just finished his three week online GOVT 2306 course and it was great. He gives you everything you need to complete homework, quizzes and other assignments. He is very fast to respond to emails. The course syllabus is easy to understand and he followed it without changes. This is the Government prof you need to take! Extra credit is possible!

He is definitely a professor to have at Eastfield College. There are so many good things about his course that it is hard to pick one thing to say. But one thing I appreciated is him wanting his students to "find their own voices" and passion about govt. The assignments were not long but sure helped me learn a lot about govt. This dude is awesome!

I am in Mr. Carr's class right now. (Spring 2017). I am the taking federal government class and he is an amazing teacher. His lectures are funny. I feel like he cares about students doing well. I also like that there aren't many homework assignments but what we learn overall has been incredible. HE IS THE MAN!!

So I wrote the previous post and need to clear up my statement. Mr. Carr is one of the nicest teachers on campus. I messed up on the test by not taking notes and expecting him to tell me what was on the test. The stories he tells about politicians and judges will show up on the exam. Take notes!!!!! His class is easy!!

GREAT TIP FOR ADDED POINTS!!!! Mr. Carr likes sharing unique facts about U.S. presidents. If you add what he says to your test or homework answers, he will give you extra credit.

He is a fan of the military. Plus he makes everyone feel welcome no matter if you are an international student, LGBT student, a "conservative", or a working parent. I found him to be very understanding and kind to everyone.

His class is straight forward. Come to the lectures, do the homework, and find the answers on the study guide and you should make an easy grade. He is also very understanding when situations happen. Just talk to him and he will work with you.

This professor was so easy to take and get a class out of the way in the summer. No need to take Government a full semester, if you take him. He's easy, teaches well, and keep the class interesting. He doesn't grade hard at all and offers extra credit. The quiz reviews are going to be exact on the quizzes. Class is tops 40 mins. RECOMMEND! Easy A

Getting the book is optional because he goes over the material so thoroughly in class, however I advise getting it. Replies quickly to emails. All of his homework and assignments can be found online, but if you pay attention in class the answers will be in your notes WORD FOR WORD. Better to take during the summer if you want to get it out the way.

He asks thought provoking , and the ones who get mad (like the person below) are ones who hate that he wont agree with their half baked ideas (usually Clump supporters). Best professor I have ever had!

This professor Carr is a great professor for your government class. I took him fall 2018 for the first 8-weeks and made an A in the course. Doesnt not have many homework only 3 but they are long any where between 92-182 question. Only two quiz and do five study guide and the question on them are the same on the quiz and you take them at home.

I did not expect to actually be interested in Government but thanks to professor Carr for making his class Interesting and fun, I learned! I took his class over the summer2018 very early in the morning. workedstudy and earned an A!
