Great professor. Three hour lectures flew by. Lectures where based in a more discussion like format than the usual person reading from slides. It made things easier to learn. I learned more this summer semester than I did all last fall and spring at my other school. I highly recommend taking Prof. Decristofaro for AP 1 and 2 for summer.

Great teacher. He's energetic, most of the time, and helps the students remember anatomy with rhymes or acronyms and detailed diagrams. Labs are pretty fun until 2 hours in. Expect weekly quizzes and 3 practicals for lab and 3 tests for lecture. Lecture tests can be very detailed or they could be simple, depends on the topic.

Anthony is one of the coolest professors here especially for the first ever nursing class you take. He is straight to the point and clear. He's funny and entertaining too so lectures don't seem as boring. Tests are directly from the powerpoints.

Great Professor for A+P 1/2. He can be intimidating/mean at times, but the best prof. for A+P . The study guides are the keys to his tests. Makes you work for a good grade, but you learn a lot and he tries to stay away from the textbook. Fast-talker. Go to him with your study guides and he'll give you feedback. Very accessible outside of class.

I have Anthony for AP1. I can actually say I love going to lecture and am really enjoying the material. Lectures are interesting and time really goes by fast. I also have him for lab. AMAZING! This guy is an awesome lecture person. We had class today and he took us through a 20 minute drawing and story. By the end of the story he told the class he did The sliding filament theory. I was really scared coming into a summer class at Fairfeld for AP1, and really didn't know what to expect. Anthony (the professor), made the lectures and lab, interesting, fun and very informative. Great lectures. Gives good real life examples that we can relate to, which makes learning so much easier. Lab was a lot of work per week for summer. Have to spend extra time in open lab to review and refresh on models. He also has awesome tutorials that really help!

Covid 19 forced us online. Prof. Anthony did an excellent job getting lectures and lab online. We met in Zoom meetings every class and he was great. He is knowledgeable and really cares about his class and students. I wouldn't recommend anyone but Anthony for AP at Fairfield. GO STAGS!

Great professor. Love having this guy for lecture. Lectures are interesting and clear. Makes perfect sense and helps with learning for tests. Lots of office hours to discuss material for extra help and go over exams. Thanks for being awesome!! Everyone wants this prof!

I see this professor for help nearly twice a week. He is always willing to help clarify information and his door is always open. Probably one of the most sympathetic, kind and helpful professors I've come across at Fairfield. I am a senior, so I have had many. I wouldn't take anyone else for this class.

Anthony is the best professor of all time. I would even go as far to say the GOAT at Fairfield U. He is caring and always concerned about how students do. Super friendly, comes to class early to talk with all his students. It is great to see a smiling face in class and on campus. I can always count on Anthony! Thanks for a great semester!

Great professor. He is engaging and tells stories from his life that help you remember content. He provides lots of materials to help you study for the test such as review sheets and posts all of his slideshows and lectures. He is kind and cares about his students and that they do well. I liked him so much that I am taking him again!

I went to every one of Anthony's class. Never once did he say that his students would fail. I don't think the review below is real. Must be jealous professors that are not as good as Anthony. I love the bad reviews Anthony has received. I am a REAL student who noticed that negative comments were posted on Anthony's reviews and Positive on a another teacher. I'd bed my A that this teacher is putting these negative comments on Anthony's account. Too weird that they both are on same day. Anthony is the best.. PERIOD!!

I have Anthony for lab, and I did really good with his lab style. We worked in groups and he had us learn the terms and then he quizzed us. It really helped to force us to learn in class and teach us how to learn when we were not in lab. He was also available during the open lab times to help us when we were confused.

Anthony is an awesome lab prof. He really knows his stuff, and is always willing to help our group. He makes lab interesting and fun and makes sure we know the muscles before we leave. Time actually moves fast and I leave being confident in the material. Highly recommend Anthony for prof.

Anthony was great! Just study for his class and you will be okay. Use resources and don't get behind - that's the biggest issue you could have. Once you're behind in a class like his, it's hard to catch back up.

I can honestly say this was the one class and one professor I looked forward to every week. Lectures were interesting, engaging, and fun. Anthony really knows how to get the whole class involved & it made the time fly by. I just received his welcome email today & cannot wait for the start of the semester. Awesome professor, highly recommend him.

Love this professor! He was always available outside of class to help and listen to me when I was panicking. He always was kind and talked me off the ledge and helped to keep me calm. Nicest man I had at Fairfield so far as a freshman. Couldn't have done it without his help!

First lecture w/ Anthony as a new professor for AP2. He is excellent. He was clear about expectations & how to do well in class. Lecture wasn't the whole 1hr15min because we went over the syllabus, but was very detailed & organized. The first lecture was energetic, interesting & fun! I didn't realize AP could be this interesting. Glad I switched.

Anthony is an overall great understanding teacher. He puts forth his best for you to succeed, but YOU need to study and put your best effort forward. Class is lecture heavy, he is fast paced so review the slides a lot, it helps. Overall his tests are hard, there's no way to wrap around that, but question material can be confusing. STUDY STUDY!

I am new to Anthony's lecture AP class this semester. He outlines the material clearly & specifically states what important information is. He draws examples with material and tests. Makes studying much easier. I meet with Anthony during office hours & helps focus my studying. He really wants me to succeed & is willing to help however he can.

I have Anthony for lab and he is such a great professor. He makes labs fun, interesting and always draws some medical information into lab info.

I am new to Prof. Anthony's lecture. I struggled last semester and wanted to try something new. Anthony has set checkpoints for me each week. I meet with him twice a week and he has me on a path for better studying and better grades. So far I am starting this semester off with a B+, better than my C- from AP1. I owe it all to him and his help.

Anthony is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is so incredibly accessible outside of class, and really wants to see his students succeed despite the difficult subject matter. He brings his own experience to class, and makes super helpful analogies. He is so approachable and creates a very inviting atmosphere.

I recommend Anthony for both lab and lecture. He is so understanding, kind and is willing to make sure you put forth your best ability in order to succeed. I think A&P is hard in general but if you can talk and meet with him to go over ideas and importance of certain topics definitely do that as if can be helpful. Overall a 10/10 for me!

Anthony is by far the best professor for AP. He really helped to get my grade up and was caring about my feelings and my struggles. His review sessions were fire and he was always clear on what we needed to know. Thanks to Anthony for helping to get me where I needed to be grade wise.

The best. Class is hard, but he will help if you ask. Don't get overwhelmed when he tells you how much you need to know for tests though, he just wants to make sure you study.

Anthony is FIRE! He is always available for help. Lectures are amazing and so interesting, especially when he connects clinical information. He is clear cut and really knows this stuff. His teaching style is different and really helps us to learn. I owe my success to Anthony. I can't wait for next semester and AP2.

I had anthony for lecture & lab. made A&P1 sooo easy &he was so easy to work with. You need to stay on top of studying but that is for any healthcare class!! almost no homework but make sure you go to lecture the info is important!! Cant wait for him again next semester

Very nice and relatable to the students. Connects daily life and stories into the class and truly values how the students perform in the class. He is brutally honest and will push you and warn you what you need to do to succeed in the class. Definitely the bas A&P teacher.

Was switched into anthony's lab this semester. He uses crazy analagies, but they definitely help. His dad jokes could use some improvement (LOL), but it makes lab fun and time fly by. I wish I had him first semester. Already starting off with better grades, as his teaching style really helps with learning.

Literally the best teacher I could have had. He makes the class so interactive and engaging to keep us all focused on the content. Often finds mnemonic devices or other ways for his students to remember difficult content. Very funny guy overall great teacher.

Anthony was genuinely my favorite professor here at Fairfield. He made me enjoy one of the hardest classes we are required to take as nursing students, Anatomy and Physiology, and he was able to make the class very interesting and always kept myself and my classmates laughing. You are lucky if you get him for A&P he is the best!

I was lucky to have Anthony for lab/lecture first sem and I made sure I had him again for second - because he was just that good! Generally, Anthony's sections do better on exams than the other lecture teacher because he does a great job preparing you for what will actually be on the exam. If you can switch into his section - DO IT!

Anthony is an AMAZING teacher, he makes a lecture heavy class so fun and engaging for students in a class that can be boring or confusing. He breaks down concepts and makes them very easy to understand. He is super easy to reach and always willing to help. The class itself is hard but if you get Anthony for it consider yourself more than lucky.

This professor was very good at offering time outside of class to help you gain a better understanding. He is very good at relating complex topics to simple ideas to help him learn and understand topics. It is definitely a hard class, but if you study and pay attention, you will be fine. Anthony is great! I had him for lab and he was very clear with what you need to study. He knows his stuff really well and makes labs fun to be in. I really enjoyed the class and learned so much from him. He doesn't have slideshows though which ended up being tough as you had to figure that out on your own.

taught me so much in anatomy I. can't wait to have him again for anatomy II! he stresses the importance of the student taking the time to learn the material, and honestly, this advice got me through the course. in all, the material is not that challenging, it just needs to be memorized, start studying 3-4 weeks before an exam and it will be easy!!

Couldn't have more positive things to say about Anthony. Anatomy is an extremely tough class, but he makes it easier than other professors and gives you funny mnemonics to help you remember things. Took him for both lecture and lab, and I am so glad I did! Highly recommend!!

Take Anthony over Earls if you can!!! Has so much experience so his examples/ teaching style is very effective, easy to understand, and remember/relate to. It's a hard course no matter the professor but at least with Anthony you feel like you're learning. His youtube channel is a great resource. 3 exams, homework, and final cumulative exam.

Honestly the best and so helpful outside of class as well. Anatomy is hard either way but he definitely makes it as manageable as possible. Lectures never go the full amount of time and are recorded on youtube, so it doesn't matter if you miss. 1000% recommend to take his class specifically if anatomy is a requirement!

A & P 2 is a HARD class. But Anthony is an awesome teacher who makes it manageable, the class is lecture heavy but he makes it fun by giving great example and stories. Fair warning the lectures move quickly but you get used to it over time. He cares about student success and is very easily accessible outside of class.

Retook AP 1 and 2 over the summer with him and his way of teaching is the only reason I passed! He finds a way to make it fun. Makes the entire class feel like a whole group that can get along and teaches the material in a way that can easily be studied and memorized. Responds quickly! As long as you put in the work passing should be attainable.

I had him a while ago, but to this day I still wish I had professors in my other classes that were just like him. He is so funny and chill. He makes anatomy actually tolerable and although attendance isn't mandatory, make sure you go to his test reviews bc they are on point, and exactly what is on the exam. TAKE HIM, you wont regret it.

Anthony is a very engaging professor. Anatomy is a hard class but he does a good job of explaining everything. He does go through the slides very fast so you have to be always paying attention. His YouTube videos are also helpful because of how fast he goes in class. The tests are hard but manageable if you put a good amount of time into studying.
