It was professor Dixon's 1st semester teaching at Valencia and he did an amazing job. He makes statistics very easy to understand and makes sure everyone understands before he moves on and he will work with you to make sure you pass with an A. I thought statistic was going to be tough but having him as a professor made it easy to understand.

Professor Dixon is a great teacher. I previously took MAC 1105 with a different teacher and I honestly was lost and could not grasp the class. But with Professor Dixon, he makes lessons very easy to follow and understand. He is also very funny, helpful and kind. I would take his classes again, in fact I am taking him for Stats in Spring 2016 Sem.

Prof Dixon is great! He is down to earth and clearly teaches the material in a way that makes sense for tests. If you have any problems he is more than accommodating. I would take him again, but I'm moving and have to go to West Campus. Highly Highly recommended though Go to every class which you'll enjoy and he give random extra points. cute too!

Prof. Dixon is the best professor that I have ever had. I was nervous going into the class and he made statistics fun to learn. Extremely funny and knows how to connect with the class. He was made for teaching! If you have the chance, sign up to sit in his class, you will not be disappointed.

Mr. Dixon wants you to pass. He gives his extra time to help you outside of class. If you study the quizzes you will guarantee Ace his test . I will recommend this professor for stats or any math class hands down. Just an FYI I took last semester a stats class and failed and when I took Mr. Dixon class I got a A+. Take my word for it!!!!!

He finds ways to make the lecture interesting & relatable so that you want to learn. He gives out quizzes that have everything the test is on and literally works through all the problems with the class. Down to earth. Took Stats at UCF & had to drop because I failed the first 2 tests, I'm taking him now & so far I've passed first 2 tests with A's

Best. Professor. EVER! Clear teaching style and examples, homework isn't mandatory but recommended, and provides help if needed and you don't even need to ask for it. Class is never boring too! Textbook was not needed at all for this class unless you wanted to do a little extra studying.

Professor Dixon is amazing. He gives random extra credit and his lectures are very clear. He uploads his lectures online so if you need any extra help it is there. The book wasn't needed at all and we never used the web assign code. He assigns optional homework but doesn't check. Grades are easy and if you attend class you'll pass.

Prof D. rocks! His tests are not multiple choice but gives partial credit if you show your work and he sees you were on the right path. Offers extra credit if everyone in the class does a survey on him. Final replaces lowest test grade, and final is based on pervious tests. His test reviews are a life saver he also makes video notes, and printable.

Hands down the best professor at Valencia. Walking into a subject like business cal seems intimidating but Professor Dixon made this class seem like 5th grade math. Take home quiz before every test then goes over over every problem in class. Test are pretty much a mirror of the quiz, come to class on quiz reviews and you'll get an A on the test.

Professor Dixon is the best. There are only a few grades though. 5 tests, 5 quizzes (only 1 question) and that's about it. I have taken him twice now for my math classes. Prof. Dixon is AMAZING. He is so funny and really cares about his students. He doesn't have a lot of grades (4 quizzes; usually 1 or 2 questions, 4 exams, and the final). He gives out extra credit for attendance and he replaces your lowest test score with the final! I have taken him twice (MAC 1105 & STA 2023) and I cannot recommend him enough.

Professor Dixon is by far the best Professor I've had in all of my years I've been in College. He presents the material in a manner that you can understand it. He also relates to the students. 4 exams and then the final. Go to class b/c he does give extra credit for that. You get quizzes along the way to help. 1 or 2 exams will be take home

TAKE THIS CLASS! It was by far the easiest math class I've ever taken. He is extremely helpful. Test were just like the quiz we review and he makes sure you understand everything. I even contemplated taking Calculus because I know he would've made it a breeze.

If you have a math course at Valencia, you must take him. He breaks down the complexity of the concepts in a manner in which everyone understands, I have never been good at math and I got an A with him for stats and business calculus. Mr. Dixon is a great professor. He is very familiar with the class content and breaks it down into humorous jokes so students can easily understand the concepts. He is willing to work 1 on 1 with students after class to ensure they understand the concepts he presents in his notes. He ensures that the tests reflect concepts discussed in class.

Professor Dixon is really funny, cares about you passing, has no problem helping you understand the problems, he has his lectures online too which helps if you miss a class but he will not go back and reteach. Do the HW its not graded but if you understand the HW youll pass the exams. It doesnt hurt that hes also good looking smart & funny.

I took Dixon for 3 semesters, all for my math courses. I am not good at math but ive learned so much from him. He makes it easy to pass and provides you with enough information and feedback. Took Prof Dixon for Statistics online and he was FANTASTIC! Amazing, clear lecture videos with examples. Quick to reply to messages/questions. This class is hard, but Prof Dixon makes it feel much more manageable. Uses KnewtonAlta, which is weird to get used to at first if you're used to MyMathLab, but I ended up really liking the system by the end

Do not skip an opportunity to take Professor Dixon's class. His online lectures and videos are really good and help you a lot. Even if you are not great at math he will walk you through every step. I took him online and had no issues. If you put in the work you will do great! I highly recommend him! Final is at the testing center but you'll be ok!

I took this class online and honestly I was dreading it, I thought statistics would crush me, but I received a grade A. This professor has all the videos to show you what to do, I didn't even know how to work a scientific calculator but his videos help with the homework practice. Quizzes + exams are easy but study the practice tests.100% Take him!

I am absolutely horrible at Math. I actually left Stat as the last class I would take before I graduated. I heard about Prof Dixon and I actually waited a whole semester to be in his class because it was full the first time. I am so glad I waited because his class is so easy. Trust me. His lectures were not mandatory but you wouldn't want to miss them because they were extremely helpful! He would write out the notes with you and answered any questions. With my eyes closed I would choose Professor Dixon a thousand times, he is a teacher who knows what he is doing, and how to make his students learn in the best possible ways. Makes the topic easy to understand. Not a lot of homework. Stuff covered in lectures and homework is the stuff on the test. I love the system he uses for homework, even if you get questions wrong you can still get 100. About 2-3 assignments per week and 4 exams.

Great class! the teacher gives lectures for each lesson then a quick assignment thats done through Knewton atla. There are 4 exams total and he does zoom lectures every week for people who need help. With the way his class is set up, its almost impossible to fail his class (unless you just dont do the work). He is great, take him!

If you are someone who has a full time job and is lookin for a class that is not time consuming and at the same time super fun and really interesting then take this professor, his lectures are great and makes hard stuff look super easy. there are 4 exams 3 quizzes and homework for each lecture, the homework are easy.

Professor Dixon is by far the best Mathematics Professor I have ever had. He provides clear grading criteria and not a lot of work so if you are a really busy person this is the course for you. This course was fairly easy for being a Statistics class but anyone who wants to take Statistics needs to TAKE HIM!!!

It's calc. so yes it will be challenging, but I'm taking this class online and he explains the subjects clearly and gives multiple attempts on assignments. If you do the work you should have no problem passing the class with at least a C, even if you don't do well on the tests.

Took his class online, Summer 2021. His youtube videos for every topic are perfect for getting the homework done and having good grades on the Tests, we had 3 Tests and a Final Exam. We used Knewton Alta for everything. Amazing professor, easy to reach just 10/10.

He uses Knewton Alta. Answers are easy to find with "resources". I never had to contact professor for anything. It was an easy A.

his lecture videos cover everything on the "written" portion of exams (just jot down the calculator steps for each problem type). quizzes and exams are through knewtonalta, and the wording of those questions is identical to the homework. 3 exams, 3 quizzes, 1 final (not cumulative, not proctored). he's nice and responds to emails quickly. 10/10

I would recommend this professor to anyone that finds math difficult. I was really nervous about this class but Prof. Dixon made it easy. There are lecture videos that you have to watch and they are really easy to follow. He uses Knewton Alta so everything is pretty straightforward. I was scared to take calc but Im glad I picked him because I ended up doing really well. I really appreciate all his videos, and he has a way of making something as complex as calc not seem difficult at all. tests are 60% of grade. Here I thought this class has gonna be harder than expected but this professor made this class easy for me! His lecture videos help with the upcoming homework, study guides, and exams that I did for the semester. Overall, great professor to take if you need that class for a business major!

Believe all of his ratings because this guy 100% knows what he is teaching. What takes him 5 mins to explain takes many professors an hour and will leave you still highly confused. His videos are essentially him taking notes for you of the material and clearly explaining the concepts with examples.

I love Professor Dixon! He tells you the information in a way that makes sense, but when you don't understand hes happy to talk it through with you.

It is literally just a couple of HW's, 1 Quiz, and 1 Project per Module - which are all completed through Pearson MML. You get unlimited attempts on the HW, and have PLENTY of time to complete any assignment. HW is weighted more than the Quiz and Project combined. This was a super easy online course, but you obviously still have to do the work.

Professor Dixon is an exceptional teacher who truly cares about his students. His classes are engaging, and he provides helpful resources like lecture videos. Unstuck study is a great supplementary tool for exam prep.

Professor Dixon is an energetic professor who creates a very positive environment to learn in. All of the lectures are incredibly easy to understand, and the harder units/lessons were easy once I asked for help and he provided be with extensive assistance. Even if math is a weak subject of yours, Professor Dixon is a phenomenal choice.

The class was a difficult topic, but his lectures were very great and he always answers questions. His classes usually end early, but I learned everything I needed to. You NEED the access code from the book. VERY TEST HEAVY, but forgiving on technological mistakes as long as you provide proof of your work. 10/10, incredibly nice and helpful. :)

I enjoyed taking this class and having this professor. His assignments are straightforward, as all homework is on Pearson. There are 1-3 assignments a week, with the homework being easy to do. There is no Honorlock except for one quiz. I would highly recommend this professor if you want to learn a lot and have an easy course.
