This teacher is an **** but in a good way. He's very funny, entertaining, and doesn't give much homework. The reason he doesn't even need to issue homework is because his teaching and methods are so effective.

Nice man, likes to teach and tell funny stories. Helps mold students into true writers. Has his own style of writing but it truely helps in the long run. He is very patient, very relaxed class but also a great learning experience.

Has an excellent method for writing papers, one you'll use in the future--this is college, so expect to apply yourself, if you do, you will see a difference. He doesn't hate women, quite the opposite, he just likes to keep class interesting and awake

He's a great teacher. If you ever catch him teaching part-time, I highly recommend you taking his class. He's got a great way of explaining and I learned a lot.

In semi-retirement at this time so only teaching minimum class schedule. However, if you can get in, he is the best instructor available!! Mr. Garcia gives his students the tools for witing any paper required in our college life. If you can get in, he's wonderful!!!!

This is the man you want for English. The most popular teacher on campus besides merifield. Funny, easy and interesting - you cant get any better. i had him for 3 classes and got 3 A's. If you get a C you did not try at all. I actually miss this teacher. you could joke with him too.

Mr.Garcia is quite possibly the best teacher at Saddleback. Not only is he an extremely funny guy, Mr. Garcia is also first-rate at teaching you how to write. His class is quite easy as well (first A I was able to obtain in an English class in awhile).

Unlike most professors he really cares about what he teaches. He also helps deprogram the students of worthless junk that other English professors teaches them.

He has a different way of making you a better writer. At times he can go on and on about stories, even the same ones I've heard from Eng 200 since I took him also. Do the homework and your guaranteed an A. Talks of him retiring soon, so take him while you still can. Its an easy A!

4 writing assignments and i did them all right before class and got 3A's & 1B on them. Very helpful and a his method of teaching was excellent. I learned alot from this class. it was pretty easy. no quizzes or tests, only the final, which was quick and easy. funny guy.makes alot of jokes but don't take him seriously. i'm taking him again for Eng 1a

Mr.Garcia is the best. Easy A especially if you do the work. Very funny, a little racial, and he likes to pick on you. So don't let him! I learned alot and will actually miss not going to his class.

Best English teacher ever!!! His way of teaching helps you improve your writing. Attend class and do all the short essay's and you will definitly pass the class. The only long paper is the Final 5 page paper. Cool teacher

WOW!! the first day i went to class i was crying from laughing so hard he is hilarious!! i loved this class... even though he liked to pick on me haha. deffinitely take this class im trying to get into his 1A class. He helped me write soo much better, i sound so professional.he is sooo funny and talks about his son and his previous wives a lot. :)

Garcia is an excellent teacher, he uses a textbook that he wrote himself which enables students to write like they never thought was possible. His style is considered unconventional by most but when you're done with the class you walk away being able to really paint a picture for your reader with your words. I had him for 2 different classes.

Before you can write essays in advanced English classes, you first need to know how to write proper sentences. That's exactly what Garcia teaches you. It's an essential class to start with. His jokes get weird like once he asked a student if he wanted to sniff the fumes off his marker. But he's never a boring teacher. Highly recommended.

hmm. so bottom line your an idiot if you dont take Garcia .. he is soo easy and all you do each class is crack jokes with him and he doesnt give any hw. we literally have had 2 kindergarden assignments and the final is a 4 page paper but he basically gives you the outline of it .. sooo easy!! i cant stress enough how awesome garcia istakeit!

Garcia is the man! If you are a guy that is all against feminism, you'll love him as I did. Pretty simple class, 1st half of the semester consists of lecture and no HW. 2nd half consists of 5 2pg essays and a 5-6 pg essay at the end. Basically, do the work, show up to class, and you have an A.

I love the guy. you buy his syllabus at the start of the semester, then its an easy ride from there. All the formats are included in the syllabus. Always talks about his son. Entertaining.

The best way to take both classes 200 and 1a. If you do it, belive Eng 1A will be so easy. I am second languach student and study only 5 years English. Professor Garcia is one of the best instructors that I ever had in my lifetime. I have learned the importance of the English Grammar, and writing. If you need to become a professional in the English language of arts I would recommend you all to Join his class. He is very understanding and very concerned about his students progress in his class.

I enjoy this teacher and would have to has I agree with with ideals, he will speak his mind and tell a joke that can be "out-there" so if you can't take a joke or some sarcasm Garcia is not for you but from a learning standpoint on to put sentence structure together I would say Yes.

Garcia's class helped me a lot to be a better writer which is pretty useful for next levels of writing. Although he has this ultimate sarcasm attitude, he makes the class lively. He teaches what and how real writing is unlike other professors who are expectant to make students terrific writers in few weeks of the beginning of semester

I have never had an English teacher I was fond of until Garcia. Not only is he hilarious, his witty personality makes his lectures interesting and easy to follow. In the beginning it may seem hard to disregard previous criteria learned by past teachers, but with the steps provided by Garcia your writing will be 10x better by the end of the semester

If only all professors in Saddleback are similar to Garcia, I'd probably have 4.0 GPA and will transfer easily to any universities i want easily. I was gonna take him for 1A and 1B, too bad this is his last year teaching at saddleback. Great teacher overall, and his program works nicely.

This is a very good class, I recommend you take his course. He is very helpful and his approach to the development and structure of everything from; a sentence to a paragraph to a fully developed essay is so insightful. His is a technique you can take with you and apply to future English classes as well as all classes which require written work.

I am learning English as a second language and I learned a lot from this professor and his amazing program to write in English. He usually ask student to write in class and just 3-4 paragraph during semester and a final project which is about 4-5 pages. I would strongly suggest him and his program.
