He is early for class to answer all questions. He is such a helpful man. If you pay attention and go to class, he'll help you out more. He has corny jokes, but talk to him, cause you'll love him.

Great presentation. Smooth. Example given are well thought out, all lesson and example somehow ties together. Amazing. He focus on main concept and theories. He is people person, not like those other book worm math professors. Take him.

This professor is awesome. Honestly the best Mathematics professor I had at LaGuardia. Puts his counterparts to shame. I wish most of my professors were as good as him. Unfortunately, the world is not perfect.

The class is CAKE if you're comfortable with basic arithmetic. There is busy work (homework due every class) but the tests are absurdly simple (the easiest problems from the homework). Everything is from the textbook.

Great professor, knows his stuff (he wrote textbook) and has been teaching forever! He is very professional and makes everything very clear to understand. He is very kind and fair and can also be funny. If you do homework and attend class, you will do well. Highly recommend taking him if you want an A!

He is a very easy teacher, although i did have to drop his class because i wasnt really learning anything and i didnt think i would pass his tests. he is a fair grader takes 2 highest marks out of 3. but unless you understand the concept and read the book idk if you will pass it gets confusing. but he is a good and funny and easy going teacher.

I love professor G. he's 70 and so cute . he teaches really well and helps the students pass. he lets u bring notes on tests and lets everyone use calculators. the tests are easy just come to class and follow the problems he does and its an easy A. he's funny and made me love math again! i thought that was impossible. I loveeeee his class

Dr. Giangrasso is one of the best professors at LaGuardia. He is very knowledeable about the subject. He gives many extra credit opportunities. There is homework every week, with answers in the back of the book where you can check your answers. There are 2 quizzes and 1 final, based on the homework.

He is one of the best professors in LAGCC. He is very nice and teaches everything so clear. so recommend! I wish I could take his other classes.

wonderful professor.. i wish i would have taken him for mat96. He makes everything crystal clear. Answers any question you throw at him and lets you know how you''re doing.. he also gives lots of extra credit work if you're interested in bringing your grade up.. Highly recommended :) He's also extremely funny!

A Professor who seems motivated by seeing students grow. His method of teaching is outstanding. He is precise and extremely involved in his students. Overall one of the most genuine people still around, Phenomenal Prof. Wish I was able to take additional classes with him.

I took a statistic (MAT 120) with him. A lot of people said that the statistic is hard, but the way he teaches it, makes this class easy.Just three exams,and you can get an A ,even if you do not like math.Take him!!!

OMG HE IS SO FUNNY AND EASY. HE EXPLAINS EVERYTHING REALLY GOOD THERES NO WAY YOU WON'T UNDERSTAND HIM. HE REVIEWS ALL THE TESTS AND GIVES YOU OLD EXAMS TO STUDY FROM. HE PUTS THE EASIEST PROBLEMS ON THE EXAMS. THIS IS THE BEST MATH PROFESSOR IVE EVER HAD!!

He is passionate about his job. His class is easy. He explains things very well and clear. and he make the class fun and interesting. You do need the textbook, for the charts and homework. if you can make copies then your better off. he prepares you for the exam. i recommend anyone who has trouble with math to take his class!!

He is an awesome professor. He explains everything crystal clear. I had him in the Spring semester. I took this class in a private University and they were not able to explain the material as good as he did. Got an A on the first exam and the Final. I Definitely recommend to others.

AMAZING professor. He woud do as many examples needed until everyone in the class said that they understood. He let us use a calculator, and have a page of notes for every exam, including the midterm and final. He is funny, and makes you interested in the class, he genuinely wants everyone to do well. I am horrible at math but got an A in his class

This professor is the best.He knows his material ,he has a great way of delivering his material .very funny,friendly.I had problem with Math before but when I took his class ,I was able to understand the course and get a good grade. Don't hesitate take MR Giangrosso.

Funny, easy going guy. Wrote the textbook we used. STICKLER for details(as he should be in dosage)! For homework, BUY A STAPLER (-1 point for paperclips)and get it in on time. Tests - have YOUR OWN CALCULATOR (w/a fraction key), pay attention to the correct decimals .0 or 0. Don't miss a class and study early and often and you'll earn an A.

Prof Giangrasso is the best professor I took at Laguardia College, very high spirted man who keeps the class going with his side jokes, Hes really awesome in all types of ways, I been struggling with math for a while and I can definatly say he is the only Professor that I can understand. Highly reccomend taking him, he takes care of his students.

He is really AWESOME! Sometime he makes fun which is helpful to concentrate on his lecture. Making notes really helpful for getting good score in exam. Always I did his homework ,and I got an A from him. Sometime he gives extra credit. I want to give him an A++++++++...........

This class is easy math, an also the textbook needed for the class, he is one of the authors so he knows what he's doing and since he knows it so well he show you easier ways to solve problems from it. But it is easier to listen and ask questions he's very talkative.

He was a great teacher I had him for spring 2016 I learned a lot from him. He explains things clearly and if you have a question he'll be gladly to answer it. I was expecting to pass his class with a C or even lower but no I passed it with a B ! If you take this class take it with him .

Funniest proffeser ever! His lectures are funny and educational. He gives real life examples for us to better understand the problem. H/w every class and he gives extra credit! Practice the problems, ask him questions and there's an easy A. As he states:" it's your money your paying for school sp ask as much as possible." You wont regret taking him

Great Professor. I had him for Session 2 Spring 2016. He is hilarious and straight forward about everything. Just get the textbook and just pay attention in class. You don't even need to read the book. He gives homework for it so you can just borrow the book from the library and just do the homework from there. Awesome professor. Trust me

Best teacher ever!

I was nervous about taking Math after doing poorly in high school. This professor made me realize it's about the instructor and not the student. He's an excellent math professor and I was able to excel by listening to him. He makes it feel easy because he knows how to break down the material so well. He makes it attainable to get an A in his class.

He alway made everyone laugh and focused on the area you were struggling in. He helped me get through a class which I was forced to take. You should take him if you wanna pass the CAEFE and I would definitely take him as a professor again

He is truly one of the best math professors at LaGuardia. I'm not the best at math but, professor made it very easy to understand and exams are not that bad either. Just do all math homework and pay attention in class and you should be fine. Attending class is a must if you want to pass and do well.

He's by far the best math teacher I've ever had in my life. I finally felt like i could wrap my head around math.

He is a good professor, everything was very clear, only one thing you should care about is, he never tell you the homework, you should do it online by yourself.

Prof. Giangrasso is a very laid back instructor. He will review ten times if you need it, but his examples are very clear so this is unlikely. His grading can be unclear sometimes. I recommend to do the online homework asap because he doesn't even mention it until the end of the semester.

I think Professor Giangrasso is a great Professor but and even better person. He makes it easy to understand with all the different methods he provides. Hes very patient and cares about you not just as a student but a person as well. Easily the greatest Professor Ive ever had. Very funny and witty. Im someone thats has at math take it from me.

MAT105**: Honestly best professor ever. i personally like studying on my own because i learn at my own pace. i def recommend to download the PDF to his textbook and study at least 1-2 chapters every week and you'll def be all caught up. easiest A ever. He's also really funny. Just make sure to score well on the 3 test and you'll be okay.

I took MAT 105, the class is fairly easy and if you pay attention you WILL be successful. Don't be alarmed by the myOpenMath assignments, they're really easy. He breaks down the chapters really well for comprehension and is definitely a good teacher! He also will make jokes throughout lectures which makes it better while learning. Love Professor G.
