Easy, yet challenging at times. Tests are multiple choice and sometimes can be pretty hard to guess. Easy to sit in and listen to, you will NOT fall asleep!!!! Go for it.

He really held my attention. He encouraged us to not only listen, but form our own opinions, which helped quite a bit on those essay tests. The book is as easy to read as he is to listen to. The witty jokes and anecdotes even kept me awake in an AM class.

A great teacher. Everything in his class is relevant to today's society. Everyone should care about their state government and he makes you care and makes you aware. Easy going out of class. If you are honest, you will take the opportunity and learn lots.

Excellent teacher! But DO NOT BE LATE FOR HIS CLASS!! There are two people in his class people he likes hmmm people on time that is, and well the other warm bodies in the class room that wont get "I like you extra points" on the test! Over all quality is very excellent. Just do you work and study and you will have a great time in class!

OUTSTANDING TEACHER!!! I gave him a 5 for easyiness, but that is jsut on my account he may be harder to others but to be he was easy. Internet class was easy so long as you did your work. Tests from entire book! So, outline the entire book and he still ask small insignificant questions from book. His emails to class are a bit jaded and patronizing. Seems he expects bad students. But if you do the work and read the book, you can make an A.

Mr. Giardino is a fantastic professor. He really knows what he is talking about and makes his class very interesting. Those who didn't "like" him probably didn't come to class or study, or actually found a class that they had to study for and decided not to. If you are a good student and not a slacker, you will do fine. He is also very funny!

this teacher teaches good you learn in his class but he makes his test to difficult and he makes you read the book in order to pass his test he only gives extra credit points to those who attend class and arent late which i think is so stupid it can really hurt your grade in the test if you dont get those extra points

Great teacher. Fun class not a lot of homework so do well on the test. He will use the book and ask questions that he doesn't cover in class that are in the book, so that you do read the book.

Mr. Giardino is an excellent man. He really enjoys teaching government. He keeps it practicle and fun. I really don't care for the subject myself, but he made it interesting enough. If you go to class, take notes, and listen to lectures then the tests are fairly easy.

This class was an awesome class! I do not have an interest in government but this professor made it extremely interesting to me. I even took information that I had learned in class and did my own research outside of class. I would highly recommend him for either govt class. Main advice-go to class & be on time and you will do well.

Awesome teacher! Take notes! The tests come directly from class, and read the book and you'll make an A. He works with you if you need help. BE ON TIME, he is really weird about attendance and he will single you out if you late. Picks favorites, but if you're on time, then you're good to go.

He wrote the friggin text book, this guy knows what he is talking about. Plus, as long as you try hard he is pretty flexible, but don't give excuses!

Great teacher! Very easy...just go to class and get all the notes. He let us know almost everything that was going to be on the test. This class was my favorite class to show up to! He is a great teacher. Go to class, be on time, and don't text on your phone. He is very clear about tests and what is going to be the tests. I recommend this him to anyone!!

I took this class on line and learned a LOT. You have to be disciplined to read the assigned chapters, get your quizzes done early and must show up for the tests/essay. I know more about the inner workings of US Govt than I did before, gained a lot of insight. Prof G is great in quick responses to email and guidance. Take this course!

This teacher is awesome he is the funniest teacher I have ever had. He makes my day by just making me laugh in class. I promise there is not one day this guy does not make laugh and learn at the same time. Just read the book and attend class and you will be fine.

I took the distance learing goverment course. The class is very easy. All the assignments are shown at the start of the semester. The test basically come off the quizzes. There is a quiz for every chapter, and 3 tests including the final. If you just read the book and keep up with the deadlines it is very easy to get a "A".

I love this teacher. He is very easy to get along with, very helpful and funny. His teaching method is perfect. As long as you go to class and read your textbook you should definitely make an A. I wish I had him teaching my other classes as well.

WOW! one of the easiest classes I took his book is online i recommend printing it out by the section that your going over and reading over it a couple times i never made a grade below a 90. really easy if you can read. would take again! not a whole lot of work at all. just stay caught up.

Easy class if you just go and take the notes. I didn't think he was funny at all, but he thinks he is. He spends most of the class talking about stupid stuff. I found him pretty annoying, but its way easy and will probably take him for Texas Govt too just because it is easy.

I really enjoyed this class. I've always struggled with classes related to history or government but he did a good job covering the material. He makes a lot of really cheesy jokes but it helped make it more fun for me since it's not the most interesting topic to me. As long as you take notes and study, it is a very easy A!

Took class online. Book is free online. Some of the questions on the quizzes were from a different section than you read. Half of questions on test come from quiz. Be sure to READ and reREAD. Easy class though. You have to do one paper that is very easy and you are allowed to redo for a better grade. Made an A

This guy has a great personality and knows what he teaches. I hardly ever used the book, just in-class notes. I enjoyed every class. He is crystal clear on his expectations and his tests are so easy. Just be sure not to come late! :)

This class is easy, you just have to show up. He likes the people that show up. Go to class because he tells you what you should study. During lecture he does get off topic but it makes his class fun. No homework ever. Grade is based off of 4 tests. Test questions can be a little difficult so make sure you read the textbook. 20 M/C & 4 short answer

Online. 16 week semester. This class was easy enough. Teacher was nice and responded quickly. The only complaint I have is about the on-campus written exams. Because they are written, you are never given the questions you missed. So, you never know what you still need to learn. The tests are available at all campuses though, which was nice.

Great teacher! The class was very fun and the tests were easy enough. Never read the book and still made a B. Final is a piece of cake. If you do not like government, you will after he teaches it. Seriously, best government professor I ever had.

Mr. Giardino's class was very easy if you don't need guidance through-out a class. I think I corresponded with him twice. Other than that he never really reached out. He gave you all your assignments up front with the due dates and that was that; which I enjoyed. The textbook is online & free but you MUST read the chapters including the hyperlinks!

If you read the free online book and study key terms you will do fine. I could have made an A if i actually studied but ended up with a B. online quizzes are easy and the paper you write is an easy assignment yet enlightening. Get it turned in early and he will send it back to you to correct for a better grade. I did not do this but still made an A

It is very easy to make an A, read free online book, take quizzes, one assignment, and 3 tests. Just study! He was very clear on directions.

I took Mr. Giardino class for U.S and Texas Government. He is a great teacher, he made it easy for me to learn and remember things by always using examples and short interesting stories. You do need to study, but with there only being 4exams,a final, and no homework there is plenty of time to put in to your exams.

Online. Gives you all the assignments on the first day of class. Free online book which u WILL have to read. Lots of quizzes(easy). 4 Tests, but 1 is a makeup if ur not happy w another test grade!! Strict about attendance and not texting during class. He's a great teacher- he loves what he teaches (Texas Government) which makes it pretty engaging. He'll go off on interesting tangents but he'll let you know what parts of his lecture you need to remember. Take good notes, read the book and you'll be fine.

Loved this class! It is structured in 3 parts. So, you can knock out big chunks all at one time. Mr. G. is one of my favorites so far!

Hes a pretty good prof. Def have to go to class. Just didnt like how we dont touch the book in class but he'll throw some random questions in there on the test. So go every day take notes, read every chapter, easy A.

I was a student in his online class for GOVT 2305 - the book he uses is FREE! The test and quizs come from the text book online - very easy class if you read and study. Reviews are given at the end of each lesson. Very organized teacher and believes in his students.

By far the best teacher!!Very helpful!! All you have to do is take notes and do his study guide for each test and you will pass!!! No homework or polls. Just dont use your phone in his class!!!!

Great professor!! You would think since he is one of the guys who wrote the book he would be difficult but he isnt. Show up and take notes and you are guaranteed to pass. He is very funny and even during 8 am classes he is interesting.

[ONLINE] Easy class, but the professor was completely uninvolved. There were no lectures. All quizzes & tests came straight from the overly wordy book. 5 Quizzes due every month, but you weren't allowed to take them till the very end of the month, right before the exam. Made no sense to do it this way. It actually forced procrastination.

Cool professor. Provides a study guide with 90% of the test material on it. Class was always fun. Highly recommend.

[ONLINE] Easy class. Pay close attention to sylabus,it includes all due dates. Powerpoints for each chapter that are good for reviews. All quizzes & tests came from the book- no surprises. Tests include like 4 chapters, which is a lot of info at one time. 5 chapter Quizzes a month that you can only take at a certain time. Professor is awesome.

Extremely fun and funny sarcastic professor. He gives 4 exams and a final. The final replaces your lowest grade. Study guides are clear, just study and you will pass ! TAKE THIS CLASS !!

If you show up to class, take notes, and follow the test guides he posts you will not fail. it will be impossible. You have to read the chapters for each test BUT he only asked a few key term questions and mostly questions over the mosaics. Super easy, super nice and will TELL YOU what is on the test. Take him for an A

Mr. Giardino loves what he teaches and he's funnny. He is perfect for students who want to learn and don't mind doing the work. He has no tolerance for cell phone usage in his class and if you sneak and use one he will call you out during class for being disrespectful of his policy. If you follow his review and mosaics it's a well earned A.

Mr. Giardino is AMAZING! He only makes you take 4 tests plus the final exam and drops your lowest grade. He really cares about what he teaches and I wish I could take him for everything. This was BY FAR the best class I have taken at TCC and it was all because of this instructor. He is hilarious and tells a lot of stories in class, but they all pertain to the material we are covering and he really keeps your interest. Only 4 tests, and really if you read the Mosaics in the book and do your study guides, you'll get an A.

Professor G is the BOMB! He is an amazing teacher, super straight forward in his methods, do the work, get an A. I went in feeling a little worried because he has some strict policies about test taking, but after having a few conversations with him via email, I was relieved. The class is easy, he grades very fairly. I will take him for Govt2.

I loved this class! He is a great instructor and lays out specific guidelines and what he expects from you. The tests are 50 MC questions and are pretty easy. The webliography is a great assignment that I actually enjoyed doing, and the essay was an article response 3 paragraph paper. I did have to read the entire book, but it helped come test time

Mr. Giardino was awesome. I took his summer course. If your apathetic or you procrastinate, avoid this class. This class is ENTIRELY online, so no "Polling Assignment" Like in Mr. Rovelos class. Tests are 50 MC Q's. If you do the work you will get an "A"

Took this class online, He gives you 50 minutes for 50 questions over 5 chapters. If you have no problem reading 5 chapters and retaining the info for the test then you will make an A for sure. The questions area bit tricky and CANNOT be found on quizlet. He does respond to emails within 24 hours and seems very nice

Not a class I would take again!

The only assignments for the class were 4 exams, 1 orientation quiz, and a weblinks assignment and essay assignment. He drops the lowest exam grade, and makes it incredibly convenient to study with his study guides. The test answers are not found on quizlet, so you'll really need to read and do the study guides, but overall great.

Took his class online. No homework, only 2 essays, and he provides clear instructions and replies quickly to emails. I took his class two semesters in a row! I highly recommend taking his class. Your GPA will thank you. And he actually is one of the authors of the textbook! Pretty cool.

Giardino made a boring subject much more tolerable with his sense of humor. Don't text in his class or else he'll turn into the hulk. You don't want to see him when he's angry. He gives study guides, and he outlines what you need to know for exams. Be sure to copy down the powerpoint during lecture; also helpful on exams.

Loved Professor Giardino!!! Can't wait to take him again! He was very enthusiastic about government which made it easier to enjoy the class and learn what we needed to learn for the exam. You definitely have to read to pass. The test questions aren't verbatim from the study guides, you have to be able to apply what you read. He does drop the lowest test grade.

I'm taking TX state government online with this prof and I would definitely take from him again. I didn't do well on the first test because I didn't read the text or use the study guides, but I made a 92 on the second test by going over the study guides just before. Drops the lowest grade. Two other grades besides tests and def need to start early

I loved this course. I took it while working 50+ hours per week alongside two other classes. The textbook is available online for free, and the exams come straight from it. He assigns 2 writing assignments and 5 exams (4 exams and 1 comprehensive final). You'll find his study guides provide all that is needed, and the questions are straight from it

Simple class because the work is clear. Do a paper, do an online assignment, read and do your exams. The toughest part of this class is the Exams only because you have to remember the three chapters you read and they are timed. However, If you do the study guide you will definitely make a high B if not an A on the exams. Over all the class was good

Very easy class if you attend the lectures. I would take again. His tests are super easy and his teaching style is amazing, He tells funny stories to help remember things that will be on the tests. No book purchase which is nice. He also understands that students are on a budget and time crunch. no homework and drops lowest test grade .

There is a webliography assignment and an essay requirement for the online class which aren't bad. The exams are tough. He does put out a study guide but that too is difficult and time consuming. You can expect to get a B on the exams if you do the study guides or possibly an A but again the study guides and the exams are tough.

personality wise hes a cornball but its cool cause his lectures are semi-interesting definitely don't skip class cause notes ARENT posted online you can however print the REVIEWS before hand (recommend!) so that you can have the material as he discusses it drops the lowest test grade and will let you know if taking final exam is necessary or not

Easy online class, just tests are tough! As long as you read the book and do the reviews you will be fine though. There are 5 tests and only two assignments the whole semester. As long as you do the two main assignments, you will get a good grade! He drops one of the five tests

The professor was a joy. Great sense of humor and good story teller. He offered a study guide for each test. Straightforward with expectations. Absolutely no cell phones in class, but no worries as he is every engaging and you won't even miss it! No class paper, yeah. Definitely would take this professor again.

He is witty, sarcastic and funny; makes for interesting lectures. Put your cellphone away! Take lots of notes and print out the study guide before hand. Make the study guide your best friend, and you'll get a good grade. His test are not difficult if you review your notes and actually do the study guide. Not an easy A, but possible with hard work.

Taking this class online. It's very easy to work at your own pace. The tests are spread out very well. Only 2 other assignments that are essays, but not hard. 5 Tests total but he drops the lowest grade and he has a small extra credit the first week of class.

I took this course online for the spring 17. The textbook is free and provided on line. Very clear on instructions for all assignments. There is a project to do, but he makes you aware of it the first day so you have more than enough time to do it. Reading material is interesting and not too long. Highly recommend this class!

A solid teacher albeit a little snarky. You can pass without reading but it really helps. However, you can't pass if your attendance is subpar. It's incredibly lecture heavy. He provides a free online book with helpful study guides. P.S. DO NOT USE TECHNOLOGY (i.e. phones, laptops) IN THAT CLASS AND DON'T BE LATE ON A TEST DAY

I took a summer course so it was very quick. Prof Giardino was very to the point and clear with his assignment requirements. I would have appreciated a little feedback on the one paper I wrote but I'm sure it had to do with it being a summer course.

Super easy online course. A few quizzes (all answers can be found online from quizlet - no textbook needed), 2 essays and an extra credit assignment. I have put in minimal effort, have not opened the textbook and have a 100% in the class. Grades easily and is happy to give 100s on essays. I wish I could have this prof for ALL my classes. Recommend!

Very good and clear professor. Simplified the lectures to get an easy understanding of the topic and was very well at giving heads up with everything you needed to know for the test. Lectures were very interesting and class went by fast. Professor also was very humorous so you won't be falling asleep. Overall, great professor!

I thought this guy was gonna be a piece of work when I read his syllabus. Halfway through the semester, it's one of my favorite classes. Do NOT take the things he says too seriously, because he's full of it. Do NOT miss class, or you will miss crucial info. The tests go over %100 of everything he says in lectures, so just be there and take notes.

The cell phone thing? It's real so don't even bring one to class. Other than that, take notes, use his provided reviews as your guide, study, and you'll pass. He is clear in his lectures and reviews. No textbook, he gives the reading materials on blackboard. USE HIS STUDY GUIDES, they are what helped me to take his tests. Everything is on them!

Took for summer online 5 week class. So easy. No textbook, the book in pdf for is provided. Each chapter is about 10-15 pages and only had to read 3 chapters a week. 50 question quiz and dropped lowest quiz. No curve, but super easy. Would highly recommend and would take again.

I took 2306 online. Two writing assignments, 4- 50 question quizzes on BB (no proctorU) and a 50 question final. All assignments very evenly spread over the semester. One of the easiest classes I've ever taken. No textbook needed he provides open source text for study material.

No textbook needed, he provides it all. 4 tests over material, 50 questions each, and 1 final, 50 questions. If you study your previous tests then you'll do good on your final. He's a no nonsense professor, so I wouldn't suggest taking him if you aren't good at submitting work on time. I thoroughly enjoyed his class! He was fantastic!

Professor Giardino is awesome! He gives great lectures and will use real life examples for the material. The only rule he has is put your phones away during class. He has 5 exams and drops one of them, which is usually the final. Since the exams are the only grades, you'll want to do your best for the first 4 exams because the final is harder.

He knows his stuff, and doesn't read to you from a textbook. He moves at a pace that's comfortable for everyone. Some studying is required, but for the most part just show up for class and take ample notes.

Professor Giardino is hilarious! His lectures are pretty funny so that helps bring that he teaches Government. The most important rule in his class is no phones or laptops, so if you cant disconnect from the world for an hour then hes not the teacher for you.

Took him Fall 2019. Literally my easiest class. He provides whatever text you need so you don't have to purchase the textbook and the readings aren't that bad. He made his lectures very interesting. All he graded us on was the tests but they're weren't bad at all. Attendance is mandatory because his test are mostly over lecture, some reading.

Professor Giardino has been one of the best professors that I have encountered in my college journey. He tries to make all of his lectures relatable and understandable for his student. I recommend everyone to take his class, he is an amazing professor! (ps. All his test are easy as long as you take notes and pay attention)
