This teacher does not teach her material well. Her instruction is very limited as is her English. She does not give full explainations of material and refers you back to the book if you have any questions. On a 1 to 10 scale I would rate this teacher a 2. She is not very patient and does not want to accomidate in any way.
kim is an amazing teacher - i've always been terrible at math, but she teaches much more effectively that any other teacher i've had - as long as you show up to class every day and ask for help when you need it, there's no way you could get less than a b
Intermediate Algebra - its a big class w/ a small white board so u need to try to sit close. also, she doesnt speak very loudly, and has a strong accent, so that just makes it so u have to strain to understand what she's saying.
Really easy class, she doesn't speak the best english so if you have a difficult time with math and a hard time understanding your teachers, could be harder for you. Otherwise grading system seems slack, hw every night, 10 quizzes in total 4 exams, drops 1 quiz, no make ups, hw due every exam, umm class work every day though its worth more then homework, its how she does attendance, yep thats about it.
we cannont understand him. his accent is too thick. there is no point in going if we can't even learn from him.
Kim may have a heavy accent, dont be discourage, she's not strict, at all like most math instructor. I'm terrible at math but she takes her time through each lesson and makes sure everyone understands it, no matter how long it takes. her tests are short, and her quizes are normally group quizes, just plead for group quizes every week, she'll give in
I think she is a very nice lady and professor but is so hard to understand. She has a very strong accent. I would say try to avoid getting her. Thank God she doesn't teach English!
If his English was clearer, he would be a great professor. Unfortunately, his accent makes it difficult to learn, which is sad because he knows his stuff. Very helpful, though! ReyCarr CD for HW and assign., weekly quizzes, 3-tests & 1-mid-term.
For the lazy people, if you start dozing off in the middle of class he will randomly call on you and ask you questions on what he's talking about. If you just reply: Can you repeat the question? then he'll either move on to someone else or repeat it for you. He locks the door for the start and break time so you cant get in while he's teaching.
He really knows his stuff and tries his best to help you even if it means taking time during his office hours!
he is the good instructor. He's nice, he'll improve your math skill. He's willing to answer all your question! Come his class and you'll understand what i just said.
i dunno what those people were talkin about. but the HOANG professor i got was a man. anyways...he does have an accent but its not THAT bad cuz i end up gettin a B in there. make sure you do the HW, not only do you get points but its similar questions on the tests. if you dont understand the concepts make sure you ask or else you will struggle
Math 130 for business major is hard no matter what teacher you have. There are those teachers that are there to just teach and others that are there and are willing to help. He is one of those that are helpful. Just dont miss class and you'll do OK. Homework doesn't count but quizzes, activities, and tests do. Just dont give up.
Calculus is really hard dont matter what!!Make sure that you have time to do the homework and practice a lot to do good in the class! He is really helpful!!Really good!!You gonna learn a lot!Just depends how much time you r willing to spend studying!Love it...even though Im getting a B and get frustrated sometimes...
He is good, very helpful, but sometimes he teachs so fast. His lecture is clear, Quiz is so easy, only in HW, but Tests are long and too hard to get limit grade because they are mutiple choice. But next times, i am going to take his classes again hehehehe.
He is a great teacher because he focuses a lot on the needs of students and he actually cares about you. It is true that this class is difficult but if you do the homework then there is no way you can get worse than a "B".
good teacher, to do well in the class u have to "be there" and participate as well as work on your homework. His tests are easy as long as you do the homework and understand how to solve simple problems. there are no trick questions. DO THE HW, that is the most important advice i have to give for this teacher.
Very helpful Teacher. You need to attend class and sign in everyday. There are frequent quizzes and tests in the math lab, if you bring your notes from the lectures you are allowed to raise your hand and get help. He has an accent so he's kinda hard to understand sometimes.
the best math teacher I've had so far. I think I actually start to learn some math instead of just memorizing and plugging in the formulas. He actually takes his job seriously and tries to teach well and cares about his students. His only set back is his accent, but it's not horrific. I would definately take his class again.
Too bad Mr Hoang Antony doesn't teach math185 this spring 2007, I'll wait then! He's a great teacher and very helpful. If you don't understand anything, go ask, you'll get it for sure! ooh, and, just for fun... lol, Mr Hoang's soooo cute, "physically" ;) very nice smile ;) hehhe
He's a very friendly, dedicative teacher. Beware of his accent. LOL. Activities everyday and quizes every week which will help you better understand the lesson. Just make sure you DO YOUR HOMEWORK and ask him questions, you will be ok in his class.
He can't teach Calc period. Take scardina for calc. He makes the subject harder then it really is. He doenst give study guides and everything in on the book. He doesn't prepare for class. He wings it while he goes along. He just reads off the screen and jabber about**** that doesnt matter. He sucks in general.
Professor Hoang is the worstest Math teach at GWC. 4 Tests, 1 Final and 10 quizzes, 10 Hws online. U'll get lots of easy As for the first 8 weeks and then he'll fail u with a freaken hard final. I got an A and end up with a C because of freaken stupid final. The final is very hard and half of class failed the finals. Plus, I don't understand his En
Mr. Hoang is a great teacher. His accent is not that bad. He's got passion for what he does and deserves a lot of respect for that. Do the hw, ask ???, and you'll be fine. He is very helpful, clear, concise, but may lecture a little too fast. Stay on track and don't slack or you'll be lost.
although his accent is heavy, he's a very nice teacher. He tries his best to help you understand the problems. Tests and final are not easy, so make sure you DO THE HOMEWORK.
the reason his clarity is incomprehensible is because he DOES NOT speak english!! if you're a good test taker you'll do good in his class. if you're not you're screwed. your entire grade is pretty much based on only 3 tests. ridiculous.
ok he mite be a good teacher if i could understand one thing he was saying. i pretty much dozed off in his on going lectures that i did not understand both because he cannot speak english and also cause he goes way to fast i recommend no one take this class and you go blow the 20 dollars on a movie you dont even like, it would teach you more
he may not speak english as well, but he is a really helpful teacher. he has a great smile and acts like a kid. i think he is a great teacher, and for whom who doesnt understand his english, then focus some more. its not that hardd.but he is def. an easy and great, helpful teacher
It's NOT fair to the English speaking students who arent familiar with Vietnamese accent to have a professor like this. You pay for a class in Huntington Beach, California you expect to be able to understand the guy.
you can NOT understand him!
hes soooo bad! math is not always the easiest... especially when you cant understand a word they say! his accent was so heavy. i spent more time trying to understand him than learning. its an easy class if your good at self teaching.
If it is at all hard for you to understand a THICK accent don't take him. He is a nice person,it's just really hard to understand him. You literally will have to teach yourself the text, but at the end of the semester it is a little easier to understand him. OH AND KEEP EVERYTHING! He messed up my grade really badly,I showed him and he changed it.
I took math 030 over winter intersession and was able to pull an A. he writes clear notes and methods(not all from the textbook)on an overhead which helps, when studying for his exams. He is a more than fair teacher who makes algebra clear.
It was not easy being able to understand him when he talks. If you attend his class all the time, do the homework(which he is willing to help you if you do not understand, and study, there is no reason why you shouldn't pass. Easy A. Take good notes. Good Luck!
i could not understand a word he said, he is a really nice guy though. i ended up dropping the class because i couldnt understand him through his thick accent and poor english.
For the students who blame their bad grades and having to drop the class due to his "accent", I'm sure that is not the case. They have no one to blame but themselves. Only the lazy people give up. This class is easy as long as you practice practice practice on the software! Put some effort in it and you will get good grades! Hes funny w/out trying!
He's the greatest teacher I've had. He's patient, friendly, and always answer your questions. Take him and you wouldn't regret it
He is a good proffessor. I like his class so much. He is so nice and friendly.
He is a nice, great teacher, take his class and easy to get an A. Make sure that you go to class and do HW
he is nice, thoughtful and great. Take his class and easy to get an A. Make sure that you follow his syllabus. He is my first prof who i really admire.
His class was easy. He gives you lots of help. If somebody doesn't understand he'll go over it as many times necessary. I did half of the homework assigned and still managed a B. His accent isn't bad either. People that blamed on his accent are just excusing themselves.
He is a good teacher and quite funny, very lenient. He is willing to help you out. He uses the Reycar disk and it's so easy to learn and practice with. He writes clear notes and allows people to get away with a lot of things. Not very strict... his accent is OK. Only bad thing was the class started WAY too early so people always walked in late.
Great guy! Really helpful! Always makes mention that there are no ?dumb silly questions? in his class. As for the accent, it?s not bad. You?ll be used to it by the end of the first class. The class is not an easy A, but you will get the grade you earned. IOW study, do the homework, and you will be fine.
Very good teacher, very clear with step by step instructions on how to do problems. Answers any questions you have. Wish he could teach all math classes.
He teaches very well. Step by step instructions. For me, Cal 2 is extremely hard. After all, it is one of the hardest math. So, a clear instructions and guidelines are needed to study cal 2. He did his job in teaching. But be aware, his test is not easy. Well, but overall, he is a good teacher. People complained about his accent but his accent is n
He reads word by word in your test and subtract as much as he can.
Calculus after all was not as hard as expected thanks to this teacher. He is very clear with step by step instructions and his expectations on tests and quizzes.around 10 quizzes, weekly online homework, 3 tests and final exam. he is not a lenient grader, however. and thats his only turnoff to me.id strongly recommend him for math 180!
The Hoangster! He's a cool guy but he is a tough grader.Attendance is mandatory for Bluebook points.I don't think I passed the class but I did learn a lot from him.Towards the end of the semester he gave us a lot of opportunities to raise our grade ie: online quizzes and adding extra points to our test. His "accent" is not bad.
English is NOT his 1st language! He is very difficult to understand which makes the class even more frustrating. Even though I passed the class I would never recommend him to anyone. In order to teach effectively you need to speak the native language! An overall frustrating experience.
Very strong accent, hard to understand. He is nice and helpful but his tests are harder than the homework and quizzes.
awesome teacher
I was very excited to learn the subject, eventhough math is not one of my strengths. Thus, to those whom are like me, I would recommend taking another prof. The subject itself may not be that hard when you have some one professional teaching the subject. In this case his knowledge is not a problem; however, his accent does make it hard to comprehend
Great teacher. His 'accent' is tolerable; it really doesn't bother me at all. Very clear in what he wants from his students and is extremely helpful. I took him for 180 but dropped a month before finals. (Couldn't handle the material) and still decided to take him despite the embarrassment. Great teacher, I highly recommend him.
just great. did all preview testes u will get an A bc his testes r on preview testes. should take him
Mr. Hoang is by far the worst instructor I've ever had, his class was absolutly horrible. He made mistakes on grading some of the quizes and he wouldn't correct them and give a proper grade on them. Very difficult to understand his accent. At times he would scold entire class and not make any sence with what he wanted accomplished, Embarrassing!
he really knows his stuff i admit and respect him for that but he really doesnt know how to teach. theres a major difference between knowing something, and teaching it, and he clearly demonstrated the definition of knowing but not teaching. be prepared to be your own teacher when you take him. to those of you that disregard this review, good luck.
HES an amazing teacher. i swear, and his accent is understandable. hes tooo good. i loved him, and so did my classs, answers every question, i wish i cud have him for every math class i ever have to take. TAKEEE HIMMM.
great professor. Can't really understand him at first but then he's really good at what he does. explain everything in clearly. willing to answer questions and gives break for example: we didnt get a lesson so he push back the exam and then taught it again 4 online quiz and if u do all your homework and workbook you pretty much pass.
pretty hard exams, some extra credits, nice, helpful, he's good!
He has accent, but he wrote everything crystal clear on the white board. You get used to it. He was so organized, made everything very easy to understand. But you have to do have homework to do well on the tests and quizzes. Pay attention to his hint during his lectures.
His accent is nearly impossible to understand. He seems knowledgeable and willing to help, but he really makes it difficult. Nearly every other algebra professor uses the computer lab, which makes tests much more manageable and also saves you about $80 in not using the book. Prof. Hoang had us buy the book, and his tests are SO HARD. Don't do it!
he once told my class "if you dont know how to do the problem just do it." enough said. nice guy and knows math well but doesn't know how to teach it.
I don't know people are complaining about the clarity of his voice. He uses a microphone, and his accent isn't that thick. Besides that, he is a good teacher who does take the time to answer questions even if they are repeated. I would have taken him again, but he isn't teaching Math 030.
Very thick accent. I was in his hybrid class. He takes forever to respond to emails. Not a very helpful teacher. Class is doable but it is difficult when you can't understand your teacher and he won't respond to emails. All my questions were answered in the class decisions.
I don't know why ppl are complaining about his accent. He does have an accent but that doesn't interferes with the way he teaches. Very easy teacher!
Why do people complaining about his accent, it does not interfere with the lectures. He writes everything on the damn board, stop sleeping. Tests are hard but it is straight out from the homework. Do the homework and you're guaranteed A+. Im kinda retarded but still effortlessly pass with an A. He sometimes tells you the exact problem on the test
Didnt like him. his accent is eh. Seems nice but irritating at times.he gives you a LOT of hw,and a few problems dont even help for test at all,and GRADES on EVERYTHING.During a grading of hw, he gave me 50% bcuz i missed 5 PROBLEMS out of about 100 for the chapter. expects u to kno it all riteafter he teaches. unless u got an A in precal, dnt take
i know he had a accent, and its sometimes hard to understand him..but so what..the way he teaches is really good...i learn a lot from his class..so dont judge people just because you dont know them....
He was ok, but it was the way he talked and did his lectures that made math NOT INTERESTING.
Good teacher overall. Just do what is ask in the class and you should pass. Quizzes and tests are based from assigned homework so make sure you do your homework. He is very helpful and clear in his lecture. Often he will add algebra and trig reviews into his lectures.
I had have taken math in many colleges, but the hardest class i been throgh was Mr.hoang class. first the book is crazy. it deal with the student as s/he know the info before. second his accent is hard, but understandable. this the math lab that make you hate math for ever and it take your trust in yourself away. i'm sorry to attend this class.
he's a very good teacher-explains everything clearly instead of just bombarding you with formulas you have to memorize. Test and quizzes are from the hmwk. the only thing is is that he's a KILLER when it comes to grading. he takes off so much points when you mess up on a simple arithmetic and takes 50% of hmwk if you miss one problem.
He has a really heavy accent, which makes it difficult to understand him. HW and quizzes are easy but the exams are difficult. You will need to be really quick with math to get a solid A in this class. Save yourself and find a better, more comprehensible teacher.
This guy knows what he's teaching and he's soooo good at it too! I can't believe there exits a man so good at math, who is at the same time can explain every concept so easily. If you can, TAKE HIS CLASS, his midterms aren't difficult, and he teaches so well, the final will be easier for you than students who don't have him. Slight Accent though!
Good guy..smart, funny, and very fair and understanding. Took him for calculus 2 over the summer and it was tough with a new baby, and working, and family in town..but I worked hard and passed. He warns you not to take the class over summer if you work, and you know what? HE WAS RIGHT! DO NOT TAKE CALC OVER SUMMER, that sucks.
Professor Anthony Hoang was an amazing teacher. I chose to take him for calculus 1&2. He really knows his mathematical terminology well and helped a lot with our understanding and his accent soon didn't matter. He has homework points (corrects the homework), activities in class, and quizzes aside from tests. He really wants you to do well & cares.
Brilliant professor. This guy really knows his stuff. He is willing to answer all your questions. The exams are mostly from the hw. However, it's tough. You have to keep up with the hw and attend class. But he prepares you for calc 2. TAKE HIM!
In his precalculus class there is a lot of homework and make sure not to procrastinate it is worth a good amount of points. Does his best to prepare you for calc. His accent is hard to understand at times but it wasn't a deal breaker. Overall he is pretty fair because he makes a point to tell you what type of problems will be on the tests.
Quizzes are straight from the homework so always do the homework. Test can be a mix from the homework, the notes, and questions he has changed. He takes off a lot of points for simple mistakes. This class requires a lot of work and a lot of studying but it is calculus so you should expect that. Has an accent but its not a problem.
bottom line: I regret dropping his class. I realized how easy his tests and quizzes are. Most are straight from the homework. Since I don't click very well with math, he willingly helps. He's someone you could joke around with. I suggest you ask for his help any chance you get. Too much homework though but good practice.
I completed a year at a 4yr university before deciding to transfer. At that 4yr. university I had a 3.4 GPA. In high school I took AP Calc AB and got a 4 and had a 4.2 GPA. I am by no means a stupid person. This professor is hard. The average for the 1st AND 2nd exam was a D or C-. Lot of people dropped before me or were taking for the 2nd time
I just took Calculus I and got a D. His tests are hard and his final exam is the hardest. His quizes are not hard. If only his tests and final are similar to quizes I would have gotten at least a C, if not B. You must do AT LEAST ALL his assigned homework AND remember them through the final exam if you want good grade. There is no way around it.
Professor H. is a good math professor. You can tell that he cares for his students bc he takes his time to explain the subject. However, he is a SUPER tough grader. He expects alot of work (to be shown on the tests) and doesnt believe in givin partial credit for some test questions. I recomm. you takin the class if you have a strong math background
He's no walk in the park. You'll have to work for a passing grade. By that I mean do all your HW. Pace yourself, do half an assignment one day, the other half the next. Then ask questions til your HW is almost flawless. Depending on how well you did the last part, you'll get an A, B, or C. Certainly doable professor, just don't be lazy lol.
Professor Hoang REALLY wants his students to learn. His criteria is super clear and he's very generous on points with in class activities. "No question is stupid" and I learned a lot by asking questions everyday. Replaces lowest test with final test. He takes a long time to explain but you will get it in the end. Tests are on activities+HW.
this professor a real bro man recommend to everyone brah his class is fun and he made it easy
Anthony Hoang has issues with his teaching method. If you are well versed in mathematics, you will be fine, but if it is just for credits or transfer, avoid him. he expects you to remember past information and will shoot down alternatives to solving an equation. Quizzes are every week as well, so prepare for exhaustion.
The math 185 class is easiest math class I have taken in GWC. Nothing fancy, nothing new in quizzes and tests. All of you need to do is taking his note, understanding clearly the lecture and doing the example again and again that he already solved in class. My class has 90% students got an A, I guess! He is so nice to give a lot extra credits.
He is a good teacher. Quizzes are very easy. You must study hard for a test and a final exam. You can pass with a B if you study all his notes and do homework. If you want to get an A, you must study very hard and ask him questions. He will answer all questions and these questions can be on your quiz or exam.
I don't know why his rating is so low. As a math major, I must admit his class is not an easy A, or not even easy to pass if you don't work for it. But hey, calculus is hard. He is a caring professor, he doesn't want you to fail at all. He prepares you for further science class. Do good on the activity, quiz and extra credit, you will ace this class
He never be on time for class! He has a strong accent since he is not a native English speaker. It's so hard to understand what he says. And he makes his lectures so complicated. As if we have to have 100 steps to solve the questions. Even though the problem doesn't seem to be difficult, you might get lost on your way. he should make simpler.
He is a very great guy and definitely cares about the students. He gives every opportunity to be successful in the class with lots of time to ask questions. Sometimes we would spend an hour just on questions. He will teach you the concepts and how to do everything in calc 1&2 (even the algebra). I failed him once but realized I didnt study enough.
He is a great professor! He knows how to teach and always make it easy for his students. He would tell u what will be on the tests and quizzes, sometimes he would let the class to vote themselves. He will give you his best effort and the rest is up to you: DO YOUR HW! I guarantee u would be super comfortable with the tests if u did his hw list.
He isn't native speaker but he has a good way to teach you. He doesn't collect homework but you have to do it because some of them will be your quizzes. I think he doesn't try to make hard on the test as long as you understand the basis thing and remember problems he talked in the lecture (so, take note is a good points)!
His lectures are complicated with his accent. The first test is kinda easy if you understand stuff, but the other tests and final exam are extremely hard. He doesnt collect hw, but youll do it because quizzes are based on the hw.
Professor Hoang made time for me to voice my frustrations with learning CALC 2. He truly cares about his students' success and well-being. There is much he can teach you about learning and teaching. A true mathematician.
Anthony is a very great prof. He doesn't collect the hw but you will pass easily if you do all hw because the test based on the hw he gives. He will give the extra credit options if you really need it. He will answer every your questions in class and office hours. Take him, trust me. (I take 180 and 185, hope he will teach cal 3)
When asked to do examples from the homework, he would spend 30 minutes on it and not even finish it, expecting us to know the rest. He rushes through topics, too. Accent makes it a little hard to understand. He chooses the easiest problems from the homework to quiz us on, but the hardest ones he saves for the test.
Pretty fair professor, 3 exams and 1 final. Everything on the tests is taught and very similar problems are given in study guides. Homework is optional but helps alot to prepare you for the test. Gives a lot of extra credit. Only bad thing is sometimes he spends a lot of time going over concepts because the slower students don't understand it.
Yes, he has a thick accent but it's nothing too barring as long as you're an open minded person who is willing to listen and learn. He pushed quizzes and exams when he felt like the class needed it and gave a detailed hand out to explain every chapter. Gives you credit for trying problems. Go. To. Office. Hours.
Not recommend this prof . His accent is difficult to hear . He will give you easiest exercises in class ,but not in Quizz or Exam. Lecture is very quick and heavy in Cal 2. Quizz and Exam is very hard
Goes too fast, and the tests and final are nothing like the homework. He is definitely not understanding. Got bashed through email just for asking for help. I had to watch professor leonard videos to survive.
I would say this is the hardest class I've ever take, especially the final exam. He cares about students and want them to succeed, but make sure you need to understand everything. Exams are quite insane and quizzes are bit tough. If you're not master of Cal 2, learn some of it ahead before you take this class.
I took Hoang for both Calc II and Calc III. If you want to pass his class, DO THE HOMEWORK PROBLEMS and go over the activity problems. He repeats them verbatim on the quizzes and either puts very similar ones on the test or the same ones. If he sees you put in the effort in class by asking questions in class, he'll massively round grade.
so this guy was interesting he complained about have no zeros in his bank acct he was sad, his class is okay, he kinda prepares u i met a great friend in that class so im thankful i took it i cant say i walked out with any info on how to do series lol im here now
Professor Hoang is fairly easy. Of course its a calculus class so getting an A wont be as tangible by just submitting the assignments. You have to put the work in. 3 exams, 1 final, and 3-4 weekly activities that can be done in 15 mins. He gives extra credit on the exams. He has prerecorded lectures and notes that show you how to do the problems.
This is a 100% online class; you'll learn from Professor Leonard YT videos. There are multiple weekly activities and a discussion, as well as a quiz. While exams are 45% of the grade and final exam is 20%, professor Hoang will replace the lowest exam grade with the final exam grade if it is higher. The quiz and exam questions are similar to the hw.
Only shows examples any doesn't show any real good shows for how he came to his answer. Memorization is key on every exam as they are very close to his homework but if you don't know how he is answering his problems then don't take his class.
He does a good job to teach calculus. Do all the assignments and attends all the class sessions and you will get an A easily
The professor is great, the course itself? not so well. Get ready to have a good amount of homework but he gives you a lot of time to do them. Make sure to watch videos and redo the quizzes and homework to get ready for the test. The test is a lot more complex than the study guide that he gives you. He gives you a ton of opportunites to pass.
I took Prof Hoang for Cal 1&2. He is challenging, but fair. Many opportunities for extra credit & always available by email & office hours. He genuinely wants students to excel in math & cares about how the class is doing. If people are struggling he pushes back due dates & allowed us to vote for what day to have exams. Bc of him, I
I took the online cal 1 course with Prof. Hoang. For anyone that is coming back to school, don't take this course is my advice. Messy lecture videos that don't align with the weekly modules, low quality of examples. He has referred video lectures from another math prof from a different university that are pretty much all on YouTube, just seems lazy
So me and my 3 friends took his online Calc 3 class (we r all seniors in hs for context) bc we coulndt attend lectures in person. His course was all online and you have to motivate yourself to do the hw and learn. Very generous with the partial credit and grading as he drops a lot of assignments. 5/5, would 100% take again.
took calc1- 2 you can redo homework for full credit up to the deadline. Gave us the option the get 50% credit on exam 2 and 3 fo calc 1-2 (exmpl: you got 50% on an exams you can get up to 75% from corrections). he gives a ton of extra credit on test and homework not the best teacher/explainer though if you're a good self learner you will do well.
His online course is laid out in a very organized manner and there is an embedded tutor. everything is done completely online except for exams. He is a very caring professor and if you are sick or injured on an exam day he will give you a makeup day. My best recommendation is study hard and watch extra videos outside of his course.
Amazing for online. Gave multiple ways to learn (book, video, slides), and having online homework as well as worksheets helped you practice material a lot. Tests weren't too heavy on your grade, and even then the tests were very easy and he offered test corrections and extra credit on them. Easiest calculus 3 class ever, and you learn a lot too.
Professor Hoang's MATH180 class is a challenge, but if you stay on top of the work, it's manageable. The tests are tough, but he gives lots of extra credit. I found Unstuck AI super helpful for prepping.
I took Professor Anthony Hoang for stats and he was amazing! He's very lenient on due dates and offers multiple opportunities for extra credit. He allows you to retake exams and redo homework for full credit! I would definitely take his class again!
Professor Hoang's teaching is straightforward, and he is eager to answer all questions. His accent can be difficult to understand, but do not hesitate to ask for clarification. There are weekly activities, homework, and 3 exams with even content distribution. The final exam emphasizes the final 3 chapters. Practice exams & handouts are provided.
