At first I was not that interested in the class but when I attended and listened to Dr Terry's comments and views on different topics in the course, I was vey happy I signed for his class. This was a very educational class. Looking forward to telling others about it.

Hard to find a more caring teacher. Judge Terry wants his students to succeed and he will help you in anyway he can. Take him if you get the chance! Although he is more qualified than most teachers at UVSC he always puts the student first and never boasts about himself.

Who doesn't love Dr. Terry? Seriously, don't waste your time in any other class, when he's the best UVSC has to offer. He must be a great judge, he's an extremely fair professor, and really cares about the students and their success.- Not loads of busy work that does not educate. He taught in a way that made history relevant to our everyday lives.

Judge Terry is the most sincere professor I have had. If you treat him good, he treats you better. The first couple days of school he seems like he might turn out to be a jerk. But that is NOT the case in any way. Classes requires reading and reporting on State of Fear, two tests and three short current event papers. Highly recommended

Excellent teacher. Shared the class with a very intelligent TA. Quite conservative, but will listen to both sides of the argument. Knows the constitution back to front and wants you to as well. Easy class so long as you show up. A+

Judge Terry really cares about his students and is willing to do whatever it takes to help anyone earn an A. All you need to do is show up to class and put a little effort into it, which doesn't take much at all. Even though it can be an easy class, Judge Terry is not a worthless teacher, but is someone to be treated with utmost respect.

Have to memorize the Gettysburg address and the Preamble to the Constitution, but it wasn't bad. Loved his lectures. Used his experience as a judge and a lawyer in class. Take POLS 1000 from him.

Terry is probably the easiest teacher at UVU. His classes were fun because he encourages class comments and when you get Poly Sci kids together the conversation is always interesting. He requires you to read Michael Crichton's 'NEXT' and write a book report but that is about it. I would recommend him for any class!

If you have an opportunity, please take Judge Terry. He is an amazing teacher. He is very fair, but expects you to make a minimum effort. You have to show up and turn in your assignments. He wants you to participate in discussions at least occasionally. His tests weren't hard. I gained a lot from class participation.

He is outspoken, opinionated and religious, however, he acknowledges that his feelings/judgments are not law nor does he require his students to feel the same way. I highly recommend him!

I know so much more about the Constitution now I have taken Judge Terry's class. He is the best teacher I have ever had. He is a true Educator!

Judge Terry is a great man. Always has lessons on life, school, and family. Very smart in judical works and has a great love for his country. Large book required to read but insightful. Memorization of gettysburg address/ preamble but its quite easy. He misses/cancels class a lot for health reasons and rarely uses the textbook. Overall good class

Awesome class!! Take Judge Terry! He is a 4th district court judge and has amazing stories. Don't bother buying the book. He doesn't use it but uses real world experience instead. Attend class and you will get an A and will learn tons as well. Incredible!!! Sad to see this class end!

Just like most reviews say, Judge Terry is great. Lots of work for 1010 (3 five page papers, 5 page book review, 2 tests), but he only grades on if you turn it in or not. EASY A. Besides the work, he's interesting and fun to listen to. He ACTUALLY cares about his students. Get to know him, great teacher.

Great teacher that loves what he does and wants the students simply the learn and succeed. If you come to class and do the assignments its an easy A. You have 3 papers that are 5 pages but still not that bad, and a Book report also 5 pages. But the test are easy if you have been in class and pay attention. Easy quizzes but they are every class.

He is aesome&keeps it entertaining. You have to memorize the Gettysburg Address&the Preamble to the Constitution to get credit but it's easy. In review sessions, he gives you all the questions&answers that are going to be on the test next class. Only 2 tests. Don't be intimidated on 1st day. He misses class a bunch. A few easy papers. Don't buy the textbook. Memorize the G-burg address and the Preamble which was actually the highlight of the class for me. Two book reports. Then a lot of sitting around listening to stories and discussing current events. Being seen, heard and conservative = a very easy "A". Too easy, rather boring.

Judge Anthony Terry is just an all around good guy. If you do the work and turn it in on time and participate from time to time this class is way easy. He helps you stay updated on current events. He also has a lot of great life lessons to teach you so pay attention.

Judege Terry is AWESOME! You should come to class to get the grade you want, but ultimately you will want to come to class. He is extremely knowledgeable and can relate what he knows to us. Don't be intimidated by, Judge Terry! He might seem scary but he is so wonderful! I had a family incident during the semester and he worked with me. We had a girl who had to leave a few weeks early to move home and he worked with her! His class is so engaging! Go to class (its a MUST to pass) and PARTICIPATE!! He makes it interesting and fun!!!!

Easiest but best class. He gets distracted very easily, but he will only test on what he has lectured about. If you participate during current events, do the book reports and show up to the tests you will get an A.

Judge Terry is wonderful! He only gives two tests every semester, and only on what he has gone over in class. There is a 10 question quiz every day, but so long as you pay attention in class it's a breeze. All you have to do is show up, listen, and take notes. That's it. Two easy book reports, and he offers extra credit. Easy but I learned so much!

Judge Terry is a very inspirational man. He has so much experience with the law and is willing to share everything he has gone through in class. I learned a lot about the law and my rights while taking his class. We discuss current events every class so we can debate about political topics. It allows you to voice your opinion on an issue.

UVU is very lucky to have Judge Terry teaching classes. Too often students are taught by individuals who only have academic accomplishments with zero "real world" experience. Yes, he is conservative and he is respectful to liberal students, just make sure you can back up your view point or your stance with facts and reason.

I really enjoyed this class. Prof. Terry has a ton of experience and knows the material well. You have to write a couple of papers, I think he required 6-8 pages. Be prepared to participate in class!
