Prof. M is a cool guy. He teaches well but his exams are a bit hard if you did not attend class lectures. He helps you out though and is very lenient. I got a B but if I would've gone to class more often, I would've gotten an A.

Great Professor! He was very clear. He provides you with most of the notes you need as well as the specific pages you need to read before you take an exam. Requires a report, but you can work in a group for it. Makes the class interesting and is very knowledgeable.

The prof. is awesome; very helpful if you go see him. The material was explained pretty damn good. The workload was good, two quizzes, a final, two written papers (1 group). Extra credit given too. Definitely recommend taking 3023 with him.

Do not take this class with anyone else except this man. He is outstanding. He truely knows his stuff. The quizzes are 15 question multiple choice, and the final is 25 question multiple choice taken straight from the quizzes. The papers are easy. He is awesome!!!!

This professor is AMAZING! He keeps you interested and excited about the class even if you're dead tired from staying up all night. This new book isn't so hot, but he makes up for it with his lectures. I actually WANT to be in class! Very fair, very nice, but also serious and strict about getting things done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was expecting another large section boredom fest, but there's absolutely NO WAY that you can sleep in Miyazaki's class! The guy NEVER stops and ALWAYS has interesting things to say. It's hard work, but I learned more about marketing (and economics & finance & management) than any other class I've had. PLEASE get this prof to teach more classes!

Okay, I had Prof. M. almost a year ago but I'm finally getting info up on my profs. Now that I've been working almost a year, I can really appreciate the things he taught. Lucky for me, even when I wasn't that motivated, he was always engaging and kept us interested in what he was teaching. A+ for you Prof! I'll remember you when I make CEO!

Very nice guy, but I don't feel like I learned a whole lot in the class. Pros- makes class interesting, helpful with grading, Cons- HORRIBLE accounting test is portion of grade, doesn't give answers to tests after you receive your grade- you are expected to figure them out yourself.

Amazing that this guy can keep such a huge class entranced for 2.5 hours! I learned a ton about marketing and even some finance and economics. It's not easy, but if you read the text and pay attention in class, there's no way you can leave with less than a B. I'd recommend him over any other marketing prof.

A great guy, gave us TONS of extra points, and really made Marketing very interesting. Gives a quiz for every other week (it's a hybrid course) with half the questions straight from the textbook's quizzes. He talks a little too fast at times, but gets to the point well. Responds quickly to e-mails. Awesome professor, i recommend him 100%.

Best professor I've had at FIU! He is extremely FAIR and keeps us going when other profs would fizzle out. There is a lot of work in the class, but he warns you in advance and keeps you entertained and well-informed. Has a way of making everything very clear. I think he could sell freezers to Eskimos. I didn't do well in the Final Exam (I'll admit I did not study much) but I'm still passing with a B+, maybe A-. Goes to show how much extra credit/help he gives out!

Good professor made the class interesting even though it was a long class and in a huge class room. All the test were multiple choice and we had some other matrix test also. I got a B- so not bad for mostly going and learning in class.

This was my first marketing class and I love it. It isn't a traditional textbook class like my undergraduate classes were. We talked through marketing problems and analyzed more than I thought possible. More numbers than I ever expected, but now I feel like I can look at a marketing problem and think like a competent marketer.

Miyazaki knows marketing from different perspectives and shares his knowledge in an understandable way. Assignments require analysis, but that helped me learn some good tool for my business. I just finished my first semester in the program and it's been worth my money and time.

Just completed my first semester a few weeks ago and he was awesome. Funny, fast paced, and caring. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand course content and his passion is evident. Only recommendation to new non business background students to program is have fundamental excel knowledge! It will be SUPER helpful.

Class is great. No proctored Exams. You have 10 assignments the entire class, no quiz, midterm or final. The assignments are easy but they require a lot of work. If you like to work on your assignments the day before you WON'T pass this class.

My internship was the best thing I've ever done during my education. I recommend it to anyone. After three years of college I finally know what the world world is like and now I finally feel ready to get a full time job when I graduate. For the class be sure to keep track of what you do during the semester. Makes the final paper easier to do.

I took his class online. You don't need a textbook and the reading is pretty much just articles. He takes long to grade and towards the end of the course TA's grade everything. Do the networking event and the final project with time (especially if you work full time). No tests, just a lot of busy work.

It's an internship class, it's really easy. Just do the essay and you will be fine! I did not get any updates from him during the first two weeks of the semester and I emailed him and he had send out an email asking about the internship, I just didn't receive it. I submitted it to him and he was really understanding about it.

To say this class changed my life is an understatement. The prof applies marketing concepts to your own personal brand and career and gives amazing feedback! Every assignment is focused on making you better and because of this class I just got my dream job. Not an easy grader, but more personalized feedback than all my other classes combined.

Professor Miyazaki knows marketing, digital, branding, social, SEO, etc and knows how to teach us. I was so worried about this course because of the analytics but now I really get it and I can't believe I have now run my own ads, built a website, created content, and finished my first semester in my masters program. He seems nice however for online he requires you to go to 3-4 inperson, not virtual network events around your area and do an in depth essay about it hes tough grader. defeats the purpose of being online & working. You will have to do about 9 essays & 6 self videos to post on your private YouTube. There are about 2-3 group feedback assignments.

Prof Miyazaki is an exemplary professor. He cares deeply about his student's success and is passionate about the subject. A lot of personal growth projects (papers, videos, mock interviews), although it seems daunting, you learn a lot and grow professionally after this course.

If you want a prof who knows the material and actually cares, then Miyazaki is the guy for you. I thought I would quit the program once we started funnel analysis, but he calms you down and helps you learn. Now I actually understand and can analyze them. I never had a prof who cared so much and actually wanted me to really learn like he has.

The assignments were hands-on and instead of just learning some theory I was able to learn HOW to build a website, HOW to analyze a mathematical marketing funnel, HOW to build content and network at the same time, etc.. And he really wants to help us. Highly recommend.

I don't know why people say he is tough. The assignments are common sense and if you put in study time, the quizzes are not that hard. I'm not a math person and I blew the first quiz but there's a tutor who runs an extra quant session and I was able to learn it. Good prof and I will say I had to work a lot harder than undergrad but it was worth it.
