Awesome teacher. Class is very interesting and funny. He's a bit of a conspiracy theorist, but it's a cute quirk. Shows a lot of funny youtube videos. Makes writing fun and always answers your emails. I'm taking him next semester too!

Very helpful. Uses the internet and MyCompLab a lot. 4 papers and little writing assignments. Never used the book. Youtube videos are his favorite but it helps get the point across. take the in afternoon not in the morning if you like to sleep in. Good teacher.

The most amazing professor i've had in my entire life! He encourages all of his students to become active learners, and he's not easy you do need to do work for your grades. I'm horrible at comp. classes but I got an A! If you care about learning then hes the right teacher to take....hes also a lot of fun and easy to talk to.

Nappi made what I thought was going to be an unbearable class enjoyable. He makes you work for your grade, but it's not that hard if you give it some effort. He has an interesting teaching style and mixes a his sense of humor into it. Don't waste your money on a book; all stories can be found online or photocopied at the library for about $5.

Nappi is THE best professor I've had at spc. Incredibly engaging with all discussions in class. Makes you think and "dig deeper". Don't take it if you want an easy A, though. COMP I- Nappi is possibly the best teacher I've had in my life. He has such a creative way of teaching. His methods are so helpful and I've become a much better writer because of him. He's very sarcastic and funny, similar to Jim from The Office. Anyways, definitely try to take his class. I'm know I'm going to take him again for Comp II!

Mr. Nappi is efficient with learning methods, provides prompt feedback, and is fair in grading. You must be prepared to do lots of work as it can be an overload. However, exam essay is quite simple and multiple choice will be based on all the info learned throughout the course.

BEST TEACHER EVER. He is funny, EXTREAMLY HELPFUL, and brutally honest. He gives you until the end of the semester to complete all quizes test and exams. He gives you EVERYTHING you need to pass the final exam. Grades papers HARD but its worth it. He loves using Youtube to teach lessons which is always great. You WONT REGRET taking his class!!

Very clear & willing to help on assignments.you got to pick your own topics for essays.Most of your grade depended on those.syllabus online so if you missed class (x mandatory) you could easily work at home &just be there on due date. Professor Nappi is a good professor and he is incredibly passionate about what he teaches. The only thing I didn't really appreciate about his class is how often he spoke about things that had nothing to do with the course. I was sometimes caught off guard by his crude statements or comments. Other than that, he is a pretty entertaining professor.

Professor Nappi is passionate and outspoken. He can be quite frank, which might offend some people, but I loved his class! However, this is NOT an easy class. You WILL have to work for it, but if you put in the effort, I guarantee you will learn SO much. He is funny, interesting to listen to, and he goes out of his way to ask if you need help.

I am taking his online class this semester. This is my first semester of college (started at 40, never too old). He is very responsive to my messages. He is very clear in his direction. I would definitely choose him again as my professor. In fact, I hope he teaches Comp II online.

I took Professor Nappi's course during the 8 week summer semester. He is a pretty tough grader on essays, but there are plenty of other small assignments that you can get 100% on with basically no effort. If you apply yourself you can get an A.

He is hilarious and even though attendance isn't mandatory his class is so enjoyable. I looked forward to his class every week and there were very few papers that. He was a great teacher. Great feedback on assignments, and the assignments themselves were easy. An easy A as long as you make an effort. He always accepted late material and was gracious with his grading (no late penalties!). Overall wonderful to work with, and easy.

I took his on-line class. You have four modules to complete, each module has four sub-categories. Each module you have almost a month to complete. Also, you will take ten grammar quiz's. I would highly recommend this teacher, if you want to work ahead. You can re-submit essay's. He wants his students to be successful. Make your own Due DATES.

I failed English Comp twice before taking it with him. He gives you until the last day of class to turn in all work. No penalties for being late. Grades essays easy, and gives good feedback on how you could improve. Lets you resubmit an essay after reading his advice.

Professor Nappi was my favorite one this semester. He incorporated the material into applicable assignments like cover letters for job application and other things that you can use in real life and it was so enjoyable. He also allowed as many re submissions of all the assignments up until finals week. No tests, so funny & helpful, learned a ton!

Professor Nappi was the best! No text book was required. I took him for ENC 1101 online over the summer and it was such as great class. Work load was not bad and he gave ample amount of time to complete assignments and he even lets you resubmit your papers. I finished the course a good 3 weeks before the semester was over. Take him if you can!

Professor Nappi is truly one of a kind. I had some life emergencies in the middle of the semester and he understood. Not an EASY A but definitely not terrifyingly hard. Do the work, put the effort in and it will payoff. I wish he taught some of my other courses.... Take him, you won't regret it.

Mr. Nappi is an amazing teacher. Classwork is very easy if you take the feedback and work on the assignment. You can't fail the class unless you do not care. You come in the first week of class and then you will no longer be required to come. After the classmates and a few discussions, there is a final that you can do throughout the semester 4 an A

My favorite thing about his class is that you can redo your paper if you don't like the grade you made! Also, the final exam was online ready to take the entire semester, so you could go in and answer questions as you read different things we were working on all semester long. Great class!

Professor Nappi is an excellent COMP 1 teacher. He explains what is expected in each paper thoroughly and enjoys helping the student brainstorm for topics, verbs, etc. Pro. Nappi gives clear grading criteria and even lets the student go and revise their paper with his feedback after submitting it to get a better grade. Highly recommended!

He is very understanding, easy to reach, responds quickly, and really wants his students to succeed. I took his composition 1 class and was surprised at how well-organized the material was. In my experience, I only had to work on the course for half an hour to one hour per day. I would recommend this professor to anyone!

1st day of class he asked the class "what are we? Adults. So leave that kid/snowflake crap somewhere else." I was shocked. Best teacher I've ever had. He is very humble when it comes to asking questions about perfecting your essay's and understanding the grasp of the class and what is expected. The essay's made you think and it was fun to write.

Best comp teacher out there! He genuinely cares about his students and gives amazing feedback on assignments. He is very funny and has great lectures (also- attendance is not needed for this class). So awesome! I took his Eng Comp online class and he was avail at 9pm via text when I was freaking out about a paper! He grades fairly, and the assignments are explained step by step. He let's you update any papers you feel need improving after grading. I'll be taking him for every Eng class I can!

Every paper you turn in he gives you feedback on it, and you get to turn it in after you revised it after his feedback and get a higher grade. If you don't pass this class, you didn't even try. Great subject matter and prof, highly recommend.

Prof. Nappi is the BEST comp teacher you can take! I was so scared to take comp bc I dont like writing essays but I Aced this class and I genuinely LOVED IT! I took it over summer and it was super easy. 3 major essays (600 words) and a remix module, which he cancelled. He lets you make revisions to get a better grade too!! Caring and helpful.

I took the honours course, and I was very surprised by how easy his class was. There are only 4 papers per semester, and they are all relatively easy. Each paper took me 1-2 hours max. He's a fair grader, but tells you where you went wrong and allows you to revise your paper for a better grade.

Professor Nappi is such a great teacher. If you listen to the feedback he gives you, you will not fail the class. Attendance is only mandatory for the first week but you will end up wanting to go to the class each session. Mr. Nappi has easy lessons, with many forms of material to learn from. He makes you submit papers to a tutor to find mistakes and gives you a chance to perfect your paper before handing it in. He also shows you the mistakes on your paper after you hand it in, lets you fix it and turn it back in as long as you highlight. Wonderful teacher!

He's one of the best teachers I've had. Understands that we have things going on in life. Doesn't assign too much work. There is only 1 real essay but it's not hard. There is about 3 assignments every 2 weeks. He lets you turn things in a few days late if needed and doesn't take off points and gives you feedback and lets you redo them/add things.

There are smaller assignments, 3 papers, and a project. I did my project in PowerPoint. You can be creative with this and use YouTube, PowToons, or create a brochure or pamphlet. Each paper uses a different format. The last project is in the format of your choice. He breaks the steps of the assignment down to make it easy to understand.

He gives you the chance to rewrite your paper for a better grade throughout the semester. Do the work and you will get an A he pretty clear on what he expects

I took professor Nappi spring 2021. There were 5 major essays: one actual essay then a professional email, professional resume, cover letter and a customer review. He lets you resubmit your assignments to get a better grade on them. Very easy comp 2 class for someone who is not to big on writing essays.

He cares if you pass. Do the work and at least try. He will give you the tools needed to pass the class. Heavy on the necessary life skills and not so much filler. Building professional skills.

This class was amazing. Professor Nappi taught us a lot about essay structure and digging deeper into our thoughts. Easy to follow. I knew what to expect each week. He gives feedback that helps you to grow as a student. Definitely amusing during lectures. Professor Nappi gives you many chances to revise your work in order to improve your grade.

Professor Nappi is excellent. Clear assignments and so organized. I took this course in the summer term, just three essays and one presentation using a technological tool (Video, PowerPoint, powtoon). He gives you feedback on every paper, and you can fix it and resend it to him to get a higher grade.

Hands down, the best professor for English composition at SPC! He only wants the best for his students. Gives unlimited chances to revise all your work and does not give a lot of assignments! For his ENC1101 class (fall term), he provides three essays to write and one project that is considered the 'final' for the course, very easy!

Awesome Teacher! Truly cares about all his students and he makes sure ALL of his student succeed. Very easy class. Three major essays and one final project but he lets you submit over again if you did not do so well. He also does Comp 2, definitely taking him again.

Moderately easy class, but he is a picky grader and is very specific on what he wants. But he gives unlimited submissions and helps you get it right. His test is a collaborative one but harder than you might think.

I am so happy I took Professor Nappi's class for Comp. class. He is a great teacher but sad that he doesn't have online or live online class for comp 2. I learned a lot from this professor and would always recommend him.

There's an essay every week, but it's easy and doesn't require much work. You will have to do research for these essays, but not a lot. Lectures are not important whatsoever. He barely talks about the assignments and focuses on other unnecessary topics. It's an easy class and doesn't require too much work. No final exam, just a short project.

He is very caring, you can text and call him for any questions. I got very frustrated with one homework, he spent more than an hour on the phone and walk me through how to write the paper. He also allow student to submit the homework as many times as you like before the deadline. I have one homework I submitted 9 times from C to an A. He is good!

Mr. Nappi has literally been my favorite professor that I have ever taken, here's why. You can re-upload any assignment that you submit throughout the semester until you have reached full credit or close to it. He gave great advice on life and school and even though I took him for Composition 2, we never wrote a single essay.

I loved taking Professor Nappi's class. It was way more fun than I expected and opened my eyes to a lot of different views that I may not have had before. His feedback was wonderful and taught me a lot. He gets in depth and is a great motivator. His instructions are clear and straightforward and I genuinely enjoyed his class!

I recommend taking Professor Nappi if you are not confident in your writing ability. There is a moderate amount of workload but plenty of time to turn them in. Gives great feedback and allows you to resubmit your work for full credit. I took this over the summer and did not have any tests or quizzes just the writing assignments and discussions.

Highly recommend this professor. I took this online and it was manageable. He is very fair with grading and his feedback is both positive and useful. Prof Nappi is also more than generous allowing you to resubmit assignments for a better grade. If you follow his examples and make corrections based on feedback, an A should be more than achievable.

This class is EASY with this professor. Even though I've always hated English, he somehow keeps the class entertaining in a world literature course. No long papers, just interesting class discussion. Posts everything online so attendance isn't mandatory but the class wont be as interesting. Definitely would take again.

Highly recommend Mr. Nappi! Provides very detailed feedback which allows you to achieve a higher score on all of your assignments, which he allows you to submit multiple times, and he is extremely responsive to messages. I would 100% take another course offered by Mr. Nappi!

He genuinely cares about your grade. None of his work is overwhelming, and he explains thoroughly and is always there to answer questions. If you don't get the best grade the first time he allows you to resubmit for a higher grade. Very patient guy.

Anthony Nappi is one of the best professors at SPC. He is so caring and truly wants to see his students succeed. He was a joy to work with and he gives you so much grace so you can truly learn from your mistakes and enhance your writing skills. A must-take for communication!

Professor Nappi was one of the best professors I have ever had. He actually cares about students and wants them to succeed. There are quite a bit of assignments, but he lets you re submit them as many times as you want to get the highest grade you can, and gives clear feedback on how you can improve. His lectures are extremely entertaining as well.

Professor Nappi was one of the best english professors I've had the pleasure of taking the class of, the assignments had a clear criteria plus they were easy and fun to complete. There is one poetry unit and one short story unit that consisted of all the question on the 94 questions final. He is an amazing professor I truly recommend!!

I recommend Professor Nappi to anyone looking to take Composition 1 as he is extremely accessible and funny, and your writing skills will significantly improve. The topics are fascinating, second chances are given to correct things such as essays and outlines, and his feedback is positive and aimed at ensuring you excel in his class.

I would definitely retake his class if I had the opportunity. I learned a lot in his class, not just about the assignments but also about life. I wish more professors were like him. He is funny and has a way of getting the students to want to interact in class. The class is not "extremely" difficult if you show up and pay attention. He is the best

Genuinely a class that I never had to worry about. The assignments were clear, there were examples to refer to, and there were always links to outside sources that would help. I never had an online class that I liked until I took this class.

Straight-forward & clear in grading. 3 essays total with a month in between each one, and a final project. He walks you through each step of the essay process, so it's very easy to succeed on your own. No extra nonsense assignments, Nappi makes writing so simple and teaches the skills needed to write great essays for other classes. 10/10 professor!

A very down to earth professor. None of his assignments have due dates and they are all a very easy to follow template. WAY easier than my AP Lang class I took in high school. He genuinely cares about your grade and will work with you to help you. He has a real world stance on his class and realizes, which is why theres not much workload.

Professor Nappi was amazing. I was nervous to take another English class because they tend to be very essay-heavy. His class was structured to have one assignment due a week and one discussion He is a fast grader, provides feedback, and even lets you resubmit assignments for a higher grade if you update it. I highly recommend him!

He was so amazing. I took this as my first college class, and I loved it. He was so nice, and I could always reach him with any questions. The deadlines were very reasonable, and there were only 4 major projects. Often he allows multiple chances to raise your grade. I loved his class, and I will recommend him to every person who comes to SPC.

He is a great professor; he is very outgoing and very talkative and makes the assignments very enjoyable to do. He gives examples of the essay of what he expects the essay to look like when you're turning the assignments in. For comp 1, you will be writing 3 essays and a project towards the end. Will be taking his class again for com2!!

Professor Nappi is awesome! He made this semester so enjoyable. He's super clear in his explanations and always willing to help if you're struggling. His classes are interesting and never boring, and he really cares about his students' success. If you have the chance to take his class, do it! One of the best professors I've had.

I took Comp ll with professor Nappi this past semester, he is the most caring professor I have ever had. He always provided good feedback, gave extra credit on assignments and made each and every lecture enjoyable. I would highly recommend professor Nappi :)

Best professor ever, taught me so much. His workload is so easy, and the exam at the end of the semester can be worked on together. Be sure to listen to the lectures for the final exam and do the work; it is so easy. I had no essay to write.

Great professor, I really enjoyed taking his class. He was very caring and understanding. If you ever have an issue, he's always there to help and support you. He explains everything clearly and makes complex topics easy to understand.

This course was extremely easy, especially for an 8-week. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was zero teaching involved. I had to teach myself MLA and APA, how to cite properly, and basically copied the format of the sample essays. Even tutors said they're aware he doesn't teach. Does allow for revisions after feedback.

He cares about his students and your grade. All assignments and essays are relatively simple to accomplish, and he also allows you to redo your work for a better grade. While I took him in person, it felt like an online class because his lectures were more him chatting with the class than actually teaching or talking about assignments.
