His accent is extremely heavy and he focuses way too much on SAS instead of actually teaching us how to do the math behind the codes. He gave quizzes every single day and sometimes forgot where he left off so there were questions from chapters ahead of us. He was awful. (Note: I got A's in every other math course I have ever taken) Worst professor.

Dr. Okafor is a pretty decent teacher, very clear grading criteria, quizzes every week. He wants to see his students actual try so the more you can participate the better.

Okafor can be a tough grader, and his quizzes can be unforgiving if you are not solid on the material. However, he truly cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. He will not belittle you for asking any questions, and is very helpful in office hours. I am very poor at math and managed to do pretty well in this class.

Awful. Completely awful. Run away. Far, far away. Easily the worst professor Ive ever had. Never communicates. Impossible to please and kind of downgrading. Consistently tells students things that suggest they wont pass. Ridiculously strict. Just dont. You wont learn anything under him and youll be stressed the entire semester.

Dr. Okafor is AWESOME! I had him for applied stats and he was so good at explaining everything in extreme detail. He relies on students participating during lectures so be sure to pay attention. For sure would take again, he is super caring and helpful! If you pay attention to lectures you are sure to pass and do well.

Dr. Okafor is a great example of someone who is a master of their trade, but can't teach it to others well at all. He just beats a dead horse, and then he keeps beating the dead horse. He asks the class a question, nobody knows the answer, and then he wastes 10 minutes waiting for answers while everyone is answering wrong.

Professor Okafor is definitely knowledgeable about Statistics. He is not a hard grader. For the whole semester, we had 7 homework and 3 exams, one of the exam was a take-home exam. His exams are mostly from the homework and his lecture. Attendance is not mandatory.

The homework was way too complex, the formatting gave me anxiety, and the exams felt like riddles from another planet. The only thing I leaned is how much academic torture someone can take before they have psychotic break. The tests? Pure betrayal. I studied, I tried, and I still suffered. Take it if you dare.
