I don't know if anyone will be able to actively choose him, because I had him for Business Recitation. He's such a cool guy. Very laid back. Excellent grader. I learned a lot from him. He also went off on very interesting tangents, sparking lively discussions.

Hes the man.Dont be absent and his class is pretty easy.You have to read some articles, maybe do some easy 1 page responses and you have 1 group project which isnt the most fun but its ok.Other than that hes the man.

Good communicator, keeps class awake and doesn't like late comers to class. Do the work and you'll learn a lot especially from the real world of business.

There are many professors who dont get to the point. This guy is very clear and in your face. His jokes can be a bit lude but he its ok.Dont be fooled by his appearance he is very willing to help you. He likes to give you pratical advice which can be useful to some. He also loves to get class opinion.Pretty easy class do what you are assigned ur ok

Can some1 say TIME NAZI!!! Omg, this guy flips out when you're late or if you don't have your work on time. Favors some and tells tons of stories about his 1,000,000,000,000 jobs all over the world. A tad picky with good work and PSYCHO with grammer on written assignments. Over all I would say he's nice and a bit demanding, but cool and REAL!

Friggin awesome! He's the kind of professor that more colleges need. These two and a half hour lectures are mostly boring. He adds some flair, keeps it real and by the end... you've actually learned something! LUV HIM!!

he may come off a bit strong at first but he is really a cool guy. is very big on class participation and makes the class interesting by talking about real-life examples and the many jobs he's had. with him you learn a lot about marketing that is not in the text. no tests just one big group project.

really cool guy. the type of professor you can chill with. the whole class surrounded one big group project, which we constantly had to update with him. he did seem to be a little strict in the beginning, but turned out to be really great by making a usually boring class rather interesting. the fastest 2 and half hours i've ever taken at baruch.

The class depends on one group project and also participation, how you do on that is what you get. Pick an interesting topic to research and you should love the class. He is very helpful and not strict at all, just don't be late to class without letting him know.

This recitation teacher is funny. 1st day of class he came out as a real hard @$$ though. But he was eventually cool. made us do a group project and a debate on companies as well as 3 short 1 pg. papers. have to raise your hand once a while or else he will pick on you. The class was on friday morn. which sucks. Not a hard rec. teacher at all.

O'Malley is mad cool, had him on a friday for only 50 mins, dont be late and just do as he says, you shall be fine...hes awesome

He HATES America!!!! He gives 2 homeworks, one debate, and one shadow-a-company group project. He likes people to be 10 minutes early and will yell if you come in on time for class. He grades a bit hard. He hates powerpoints, but loves presentations which have color and bash America.

He’s a cool professor. Just do the requirements and always remember to be on time.

hes kinda anal about attendence and lateness and tries to act tough but turns out to be pretty cool. He loves little wierd facts so throw them in your term paper and presentations and its an easy A. He likes to learn things he didnt know before. Hes a pretty easy grader. Cool Guy overall. :)

He will keep you awake. Pretty funny and interesting guy. Tough on attendance but a pleasure to have in front of the class. You'll learn a lot of "the real world" business and other things.

I had this professor for Business recitation, and this was the easiest class. He will tell you what he expects, and as long as you do it, you're on his good side. Come to Class a few minutes before class starts. 1 minute late, YOU're LATE. Overall very cool and funny guy. Cracks jokes in the class all the time as well.

Professor O'Malley is a great professor. He is very intelligent & unlike other professors, he knows his stuff. I always look forward to going to class because he makes things interesting. He has a great sense of humor and I have much respect for him. He is a professor with whom I wouldn’t mind going and "drinking a couple of pints" with.

He has very edgy humor and it takes time to get used to it, but when it comes to teaching, you have to stay sharp to respond if asked or memorize what he just said, otherwise you'll miss some of the questions on the II BUS exam. Remember when NYSE closes (he said, but everyone missed it)!

Excellent way of linking the real world with the text book, very alive and vibrant teaching environment!

Very funny and interesting, I take his class and he answers all questions & doesn't let the stupid kids get away. Discusses current events and connects to textbook reading. Humorous and is always cracking jokes on other people.

****ing hilarious guy, you'll def. keep interested, make sure you know the book AND GO TO ALL THE LECTURES he asks questions based only on the lecture. its a pretty hard course with him, but then again i didnt buy the text book and am doing as well as most of the class[about 60-70%]

He is a good professor that helps you a lot with oral communications. He is very funny most of the time but can be harsh at times, if he is penalizing you for something. Very knowledgeable. Impossible to get 100, but with a little bit of work A (93-95) is pretty easy.

Professor O'Malley is not afraid of anything. I remember in my second class with him, he asked me a question about the world. I openly said, "I don't know". He made an example out of me and lectured the class that he does not accept "I don't know"s. Answer his questions and don't be afraid of him. He's laid back and cool. Easy grader for recitation

Loved him. Took a january class with him and he made fun of this dumb russian crackhead and everyone else who was late a lot. Just come to class and pay attention. I got a B for the class and have no interest what so ever in Business.

This guy is one of the few professors at Baruch that will force you to question everything all around you. READ THE TEXTBOOK and write everything he says in his lectures and you should be fine! Three exams plus the final and he drops the lowest one. Not a bad professor overall...just make sure not to come late to class!

He's hard but his teaching is outstanding. He makes the class interesting with stories related to the topic. He puts people in the stoplight occassionally Also, don't fall asleep or he'll put you on the stoplight for sure.

He is not an easy professor nor is he a difficult professor. Very intelligent man, I learned a lot from him. Never be late to class b/c it is one of his biggest pet peeves. No hwk, barely ever use txtbk, tests are based on lecture and notes. He makes class interesting trust me, you will learn to understand his character oh & he's Irish!! haha

He is a fair grader, but you have to come to class on time. Will randomly call on people who rarely speak. Uses power point slides in class to teach and if you read the textbook then you'll do fine too. Had to do a group presentation and the final had 50 multiple choice questions.

Excellent professor! Brings back old world values to the post internet world in his lectures. Extremely funny and very direct. Tests are somewhat difficult but you get what you deserve.

Really great teacher! I had him for recitation for Intro to Business and really learned a lot. He's very interesting and funny and makes me want to actually learn. He's also very direct with what he wants and what he thinks about his students. He likes to give projects/ presentations Recommended if you want an interesting class!

He is good, can be rude and too self- confident sometimes. Fair grader and makesclss interesting.

Great Professor. He makes the class fun and likes to engage the students in the material. Sure, his grading may seem arbitrary, but if you do your work well, it'll be arbitrarily good. He has a tendency to put people on the spot to keep students attentive. Amazing personality and cracks good jokes all the time. I would recommend.

O'malley is one of a kind. He has high expectations and is obviously very,very irish. He's not keen on remembering people, but if you do stand out and show that yes you have an opinion and yes you can read current events and hold your own, he'll treat you right. He writes poetry too! Ask 'im about FBI.

Great guy,very good sense of humor. He does demand a lot from his class but he also teaches you a lot. He is VERY sarcastic but personally I found his class to be entertaining and engaging. Does not tolerate lateness nor absence for that matter,beware,you will be called out for it.

Definitely a must take for the Winter semester. Probably the easiest class i've ever taken. I've also never fell asleep once. Tests are 40 MP pretty easy. Puts statistics and lecture notes, also puts some retardedly easy questions like "what does PR stand for?" (Public relation). Seriously easy

Great professor to me. He relates business to the real world, however his tests can be a bit difficult because he does ask random questions that are strictly from the lecture and he doesn't curve. However, he is witty, and I def. got my money's worth. He made me enjoy learning about business and I recommend him. Btw, don't be late/absent (trust me)

There is textbook use for general knowledge but you really have to be aware of business news and current events to keep up with his tests (and him). He has a good sense of humor and he is big on punctuality and a student's learning going beyond textbook and four walls. Seems tough and abrasive at first he'll grow on you. If you're not an idiot.

Take him and you will not regret! He is not an ordinary guy at all. He is tough and a bit rude, but he is a brilliant. His sense of humor is exceptional - if you are not an idiot. He related subjects from the textbook to the real world. Always gives you interesting details and his own radical opinions. You need to keep up with current news!

He is one of the best professors I've had yet. Not only is he intelligent, clear, and nice but he is also witty. i took his business class in the winter; midterm, final and a recitation class-I got an A. Easy. Highly Recommended.
