Because of my dreadful biology experience in high school, I was EXTREMELY nervous about this class. I was tense when I first walked into the classroom, but then the professor came in and totally changed everything for me. Downright hilarious and nothing like your typical science teacher - in fact, he even mocks them sometimes.

All together, Professor Palermo is a honest and easy to talk to individual, his methods of teaching is second to nun and you actually learn what is going on in the class.

One of the best science teachers I had on my entire life. There was no moment of me not wanting to attend class just because he narrow exactly what you needed for the exams.

Dr. Palermo is a pleasure to be around. He is caring and really takes the time to get close to his students in every class. I dreaded having to take a science class after having a horrible experience in high school, but he really made it very enjoyable for me. I 100% recommend him to anyone that needs to take a science for their major.

When it came to the lectures they were hilarious and because of that I will always remember them. Another thing I like about him is that he is willing to help you out when you need the help. I also learned alot of amazing facts such as lactose being a sugar being found in milk.

As long as you put effort to attend important classes and go to lab ALWAYS there should be no reason why you can't pass this biology class. I HATE science and struggle with it but I am passing with an A.

Go to class and study the notes from class for lecture. For lab, follow the lab book for identification and information based questions. He does give easy stress free pop quizzes. Then took the class in the summer with palmero and it was alot better. He points out exactly what you need to focus on and gives alot of opportunity for points with easy pop quizzes. A&P in a summer session is never a good idea but Dr. Tony made it bearable. He is so funny with his lectures which also helps with memorizing the material. Some answers are from the book while others are straight from the notes. Show up everyday and show him youre trying hard and hell throw you a few bones for the test. Love him!

I didn't quite know what I was getting into with an accelerated Anatomy and Physiology course, but I got so lucky with Palermo as my professor. The class is really, really hard bc of the huge amount of info to learn in a short period of time, but he really bends over backwards to give his students their best possible shot at doing well.

This professor was great and extremely clear and straight to the point. He literally tells you this is what you have to study for but be prepared to study your butt off. Hes gives awesome advise and help when asked for it. Overall, I would definitely take a class with him again!

He's VERY reasonable and doesn't require as much as your typical anatomy professor, he understands the plight of his student in regards to the fact that they have lives outside of the classroom, but he certainly won't "cheap" or skimp on the lessons. He is the GOAT professor at NCC. He gives notes to you on powerpoint, but he couldnt make the lectures more fun. He is hilarious and makes learning the knowledge fun and easy. Tests are easy if you look over your notes he gives you. The view papers we had were very easy, just do them and you will receive a good grade. Labs just show up.

I would actually enjoy going to his class and he would have good lectures. Always broke things down if needed and put them in simple terms for some students (me). Would really recommend him to other students. He's beyond a 5/5 he's probably an 8 outta five that's how good he is.

You have to be prepared to work hard for the grade you want to receive. He tries to make the most boring topics even slightly entertaining and informative. He gives you what you need to succeed and do well and he wants students to succeed but he's not afraid to tell you that you may want to drop the class.

Professor Palermo has a great way of simplifying the material so you can understand it. He relates real life experiences to the subject matter and tries to make things fun.

Dr. T has an amazing way of taking complex concepts and making them easy and FUN to learn. He will be your biggest cheerleader and gives you all the tools necessary for success - it's just up to you to use them (go to the SRC). I am so glad he was my professor for my first time back in school in years.

How I wish he was my professor for APII!, but definitely he got me ready for APII. He is funny but respectful, caring and he take the time to break things down in a very simple familiar way. NCC is very lucky to have a professor who puts in the extra work and shows compassion for the students who truly are working hard. If you get a chance to have a class of his, you wont be sorry and you will leave with confidence.

Professor T is a very good professor. From the very beginning, he highlights what is important and what to pay attention to. The way he lectures and the examples he uses help you remember the material more easily. Honest, understanding and caring about students.

I took A&P basics and he did an awesome job at explaining the materials. The lectures were full of information but he gave real life examples and ways to remember it for the exams. He is super approachable if you have any questions but if you ask him something he just went over forget about it.

For someone who didn't really enjoy science in high school, Dr. T related the material to real life scenarios making it easier to understand. Ask several questions during the lecture so that you are able to get the clarification needed. Attending each class in imperative as missing one class is like missing a week of information.

Dr. T gave a full layout how things would be. He kept the class straightforward and related it to real life scenarios that made it better to understand. The material is challenging but Dr. T gave me so much confidence in what I was doing and he did everything in his power inorder to help his students succeed.

I really liked Palermo. He operates on a quiz and test system. The quizzes are good opportunities to boost grades (mixture of multiple-choice and open-ended). He is really helpful in narrowing down what is actually going to be tested on, just follow what he recommends you study and the surrounding info in the textbook and you should do well.

Dr. Palermo is one of the best professors that I have had because he is straight forward, an encourager, makes learning fun, and relatable. Though it says easy for difficulty, it is not an easy course. However, there is no better professor who cares, is funny, and provides a road map that has worked for others, if you put the time and effort in.

Dr. T is creating a friendly environment during his class. He is explaining everything with the examples that we have in our real life. he respects and supports his students, also he has pop up quizzes that helps your grades.

Dr. T is an excellent professor who genuinely cares about his students and wants them to succeed. There were times when I dreaded going to class because I was having a bad day, but he truly made my days better. He never failed to make the class laugh during his lectures. I strongly advise you to take him! He's the best!

Exceptional professor! He made learning anatomy enjoyable and applied it to everyday situations. He made learning anatomy less daunting and because of that I am taking him for A&P 2.

Dr. Palermo was truly an amazing professor, he cares about his student success in the class and mental health. His class is very structured and clear, and he gives lots of opportunities for extra credit and what to expect for exams. Some say he's intimidating, but those people are just sensitive. Don't expect to not study and do well. study3-5 hrs

I took A&P1 briefly before with Alexander Brands and he was so monotoned and made it seem like he didn't want to be there which made me feel unmotivated so I dropped it. After taking Palermo's class during the summer, he helped me appreciate A&P1 and was always excited talking about it. My love for Anatomy blossomed after taking this course!

Dr. Palermo is an amazing professor! I did not have an anatomy teacher that taught well in the past, but Dr. Palermo is very informative and made learning the material enjoyable. I actually looked forward to coming to class to learn more and I never thought I would be saying that considering how hard studying anatomy can be.

DR. T is one of the most amazing anatomy professors to take in bios 204, he is very caring and does a great job at teaching the material, as long as you go to the SRC and read them green notes. and the textbook you will do great. he is a very understanding professor too.

Genuinely best professor/teacher I have ever had. Makes all the tests and quizzes so much easier by giving specific areas to study without hand feeding you answers. Makes lecture and lab way more real life by talking about his own experiences in the field and things he saw. As long as you work hard he gives you all you need to succeed. Amazing man!

Dr. T truly cares about his students, and makes such a hard class less daunting and easier to understand by providing real world scenarios. Professor Palermo makes this tough class more engaging. Utilizing the textbook and attending class are key, but unstuckstudy AI was a lifesaver for supplementary study prep. Overall, a challenging yet rewarding course with a caring instructor.

I took AP1 with Dr T and he was by far the best professor/teacher i have ever had. He is so kind and helpful, and teaches this material in the easiest way possible. He acknowledges when you do well on an exam. Not only is he a great professor and knows a lot, he is also a great person. Would 100% recommend!!

Palermo takes so much passion and love into his teaching. He is strict but in the most understanding and necessary ways. But he is also the most caring for his students and wants them to do good. I've taken this course twice both with him and he's never let me down. This class is hard but he makes it bearable.

Dr.Palermo was an absolute joy. He is incredibly knowledgeable and effective at teaching BIOS204. He thoroughly enjoys teaching AP1 which makes the class/material enjoyable. I highly recommend him as a professor; and to be quite honest, he's the best professor I have ever had. Thank you Dr.Palermo:)
