Prof.Perrotto is a very kind and respectful teacher. His class is a little disorganized with dates but the coursework is really easy and interesting. We had great guest speakers in class. One exam, easy HW, and a group project/presentation. Recommend him!
Professor Perrotto is amazing. Love his class. He is very nice and helpful. No final exam, just a midterm exam and two presentations. Class is really fun!
He is just so good, his lecture is nice and clear. Group projects were helpful and enjoyable. He would like to help students! I loved this class.
He is just so good, he would like to help students. His class was so fun, he used real world stories, and activities. NO FINAL. Group projects he gave were really fun and enjoyable. I enjoyed it so much overall.
Great class- a bit unorganized but overall great projects, and professor was very helpful and informative. Marketing is a pretty easy class as it is, and this class is even easier. Also great guest speakers
Great professor who teaches very hands on, rather than have you memorize terms and facts. Group presentations account for most of your grade and are relatively straightforward and fair. First choice for MKT3000 if you can, you won't regret it.
Great professor that likes to help students. As long as you put in the effort, you will get a good grade. No final exam. Only a midterm which was all MC and straight forward. Good guest speakers and very entertaining youtube videos. Ask him for pointers on how to improve your project, and your team will benefit greatly.
He teaches a lot and it's mostly common sense so no need to worry. Textbooks are needed because your project outlines are in there. Test are extremely fair and if you study a little you will do fine. Presentations are no bad at all. Overall I recommend!
Class was easy but he is not a good professor at all. Is extremely lazy, and takes forever to grade tests and assignments. he did not even return our exams, and the grammar on our exam was so bad it looked like someone from a different world wrote it. He also doesn't return emAils. easy A but terrible teacher.
No comments. Biggest mistake of my life taking this class.
Overall, nice and fair professor. However, he is totally unorganized, horrible with grammar and late in submitting grades. Final grades still have not been posted even though the semester nearly a month ago.
He's a nice person. Not the type of prof. who through you in the ocean and expect you to swim. He made groups and assign student to different groups. I think it really worked because each had diversity. Also he showed lot of sample projects & shared real life stories, which I think made me fell confident when I did my presentation.Highly recommended
I did learn something interesting about marketing in his class. And I got a good grade too. Not hard at all!
Overall Prof. Perrotto is a disorganized person yet you can tell he is passionate about his field. One midterm, no final. Big media planning project based on a public company (two phases). He discusses a lot of media cases and brings in guest speakers. Just show up and do your part. He isn't strict, he is laid back and kind of goes with the flow.
Great prof. use very good examples in class, which motivates to study more. One midterm which is not hard at all and team project
This class is very easy, however it is not as easy to get an A. I'm sure almost anyone can get a B in this class, but seriously who wants to get a B in MKT? NO matter how hard you work, if he does not agree with you, or his tastes are different- you are not going to get an A. He is very disorganized.
Great Class for Fall Semester. Learned a lot. Professor made class enjoyable and interesting. Great group presentations
Dude is lost
Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!! he is subjective when grading presentations. Even if it is perfect but he does not understand the idea, you'll get low grade. Wished i dropped this class. Got my GPA ruined.
As other people mentioned, it is an easy class overall, but it is very hard to get an A. Almost everyone I know, who are A students including myself, got Bs. Avoid if you can, even if you have to do more work somewhere else, at least if you do the work, you can get an A. However, in his class-you never know.
Interesting class. Professor teaches mostly from experience. Study from PowerPoint, there's only one mc midterm. Group project gets weighted a lot. If group members are helpful the presentations is a breeze. People who got bad grades might have not been proactive in the group project. Fun class.
The class was very interesting. There was one MC midterm, no final. There is a group project that you work on all year and you present twice. It would of been easy if I had a better group but it wasn't that hard. He is very disorganized and kind of wacky, but i really enjoyed it because the class wasn't stuffy.
This class is so useless, Im so frustrated that I took this class. Its basically Marketing 3000 all over again. The textbooks are required but every single chapter looks the same. He is so unorganized and takes points off because you dont "Paste and Copy" your assignments. Overall If You want an A, dont recommend.
The class was completely ridiculous he was so unorganized you are put into groups and given a huge presentation to do and he deducts points for everything almost impossible to get an A after all that effort. One midterm.
Terribly, terribly disorganized and had to bring in a techie every day cause he didn't know how to use the computer. 1 midterm with a messy curve (which he changed three times) and overall just a mess. But the presentations are easy and he generally gives everyone the same grade
He gives a very enjoyable class, slightly boring, but he does his best to make it engaging. Warning, his final/midterm have very tricky questions so study we'll for it, but he curves. Also use quotes from interviews on both presentations you give, he loves quotes
Easy & interesting class. One midterm, a few homework assignments & a group project. Be proactive, creative & pay attention to what the professor says, do what he wants from you, & you will be fine. BTW, he is a great person, very understandable, however a bit disorganized. He teaches from his experience & tries make class as fun as possible.
This was an amazing experience for me. I was taking this class with 2 more classes and still had to work. The professor was fun, used real life experience to teach and was very clear about all assignments. we all got the grades we deserved. He curved up. You won't get any easier than this.
Class is not bad at all. Prof a bit disorganized and all over the place. Midterm, homeworks, group project, no final. You need to EXACTLY follow his instructions and you will be fine. Class is fun but I would recommend taking it in short session, must be pretty boring in full term. He curves a lot and he brought cookies for the last class.
Professor Perrotto is one of amazing professors I have at Baruch so far. All those his lectures really helped me to understand how media planing works in a real world. I highly recommend to take his class!
I took this course with Prof Perrotto this summer.Very disorganized. The exam, syllabus, and assignments had many words spelled incorrectly. He is very experienced and understanding Prof. Sometimes the lectures drag on. It would be hell taking this Prof during the fall or spring so i suggest taking it during the summer or winter session
follow his instructions and everything will be fine, kind person, kind professor, always helpful. he is the person you need to take for this class. not hard class, group presentations are not bad (depends on your teammates), TAKE IT. (grade not recived, but i decide to say a big yes to him)
Only take this class if you like group projects. My group was so-so; this put my grade at risk. I probably ended up with a very high grade, I wouldn't know though considering he still has not posted grades. This is what it all comes back to, he is really really disorganized. It's really not that hard of a class, still not an "easy A" bc of grp proj
Listen people. If you show your interested, and ACTUALLY work hard, you'll be fine. he's an honest professor and very supportive, He does curve the grade only if you deserve it. Don't take this class if your looking for an easy A, take it if you interested. I can assure you, you'll be fine. I really enjoyed it and highly highly recommend him.
Nice person, terrible teacher. Horribly disorganized. Just. Terrible. Same syllabus as MKT3000. Honestly, should be illegal. I just paid to take the same course twice. Group projects are terrible. Material is not difficult, but because of his disorganization and group project, not an easy A. Lectures are terrible, and he just reads from slides.
He's definitely disorganized. Luckily the material isn't difficult. It's just a culmination of different marketing topics you may have learned about already. Group rebranding project is fun but he doesn't manage it well in terms of our deadlines. 1 midterm- 60 mc which is pretty easy if you know your stuff. Easy class, but there is some work.
Disorganized. Disorganized. Disorganized. Material is not difficult, but is exact same as MKT3000. Do all the assignments, easy points. READ THE CASE STUDIES FOR EXAM ON BLACKBOARD! Make sure you get a good group for the project, as that is most of the grade! Put everything you have into project, creativity and effort, & that will give you the A.
Amazing professor, amazing class! It was first time in my life enjoying group project. Professor is very helpful. He is always there to help students. Also his class is very pragmatic. He teaches based on his knowledge that he has aquired over his career in mkt area. Strongly recommend!
He gives students a hard time when it comes to using laptops. I have a learning disability and he didn't really let me use my accomodations because he thought his idea to help was better. Overall things worked out OK. I took a summer class, we had two group presentations. My teammates and the professors' energy made the class go by quickly.
Great teacher. Passionate about marketing. Workload is medium but he makes it interesting.
I am so glad I took Media Planning with Professor Perrotto! He is truly amazing!!! I never thought I'd want to get into media until I took this class. His lectures are super interesting and informative, & group projects were fun. Everything I learned from him helped me land a job with a media agency! Take him if you enjoy media!! :)
He's a great and informative professor, though he does read off the slides a lot. The class is focused mostly on the group project so you're fine if you have a good group. Individual assignments are a breeze. Just come to class and submit quality work on time and you'll be fine.
Take this professor. Very informative, and your grade is based off a project with two phases, and one exam that he curves. You will definitely get a good grade just show up and take notes and you will be fine.
This professor is a honest grader, you will have one exam, which will be curve and 2 presentation Phase A and Phase B. The professor does not like when student is on their phone, and make sure to stay for the whole class or you will be marked absent. This is a mazing professor, his method of teaching style is very clear and he offers extra credit.
great class! It has same style as his Mkt3000 & 3520 but the content, lectures, and cases are different. Prof Perrotto does an amazing job sharing real world experience, resume help and bring guest speakers. highly recommend it
This is the 2nd time I've taken Perrotto, and he has been a very influential figure in my time at Baruch. He treats students like they're his kids and really cares about their success. Minimal effort is required to get the assignments done, and the projects are fun so it doesn't feel like work (if you enjoy marketing). I'll definitely miss this guy
learned so much from this class . You will learn so much ad &media . He is truly an amazing professor that you will definitely want to take. He cares about his students and easygoing with the grades. As long as you work hard and put many thoughts, ideas and be creative on your group project , you'll get the grades u deserve. Highly recommend !
This was probably one of the best classes and professor's I took at Baruch. I took this during the summer. There is homework but nothing too hard its all about your interviews and research. His test's are easy if you pay attention in class and read the PowerPoint. The text book wasn't used at all. Very fun class to take. I would take him again.
i like his class but it has so many paper that makes the class boring. If you like to enjoy working with project and with groups this class is right for you.
great professor. definitely learn a lot and opportunity to get your hands on into the assignment. take him now!
Great Professor 2 Group projects (second one you present) no paper for both Midterm No finals And few class homework assignments Overall Great Professor and Class
If you're into marketing or not, I would recommend this professor. He has a lot of knowledge because he used to work for an advertising company that created ads for many big name brands. One midterm, a group project split into two parts, a presentation, and a few (easy) homework assignments. When I took him, there was no final.
very good professor, I recommend it if you like interactive classes. You learn a lot from his experiences and life. He's genuine.
I really enjoyed this class. I will definitely take another class of his. He has a clear grading criteria. There's just one mid-term, and its not hard. You just need to look at his presentation slides and go to his lectures. He is not trying to trick you with these questions. He care about his students, he is not trying to make them fail the class.
Definitely a great professor! He was everything that a positive professor should be. Even though there were a group project done in phase A and phase B I was lucky enough to really get a great group. I recommend anyone who gets a chance to take him do it. If you do everything asked its a definite A or A- and he curves the midterm.
Has a lot of experience in the marketing world that he is more than willing to share. He's not usually available for email or outside of class but you can tell he has a large workload as well. Because of this he might give you contradicting deadlines but you should always go for the earliest one. If you work hard, then this class is a guaranteed A
He is a must take professor for marketing! There are two group projects and one midterm exam. He has real world experience and makes the class interesting. This class mainly consists of group work, so if you like that then this is the class for you. Just like any class, if you follow the directions then you will do great. Would take again!
One of the best educators I had at Baruch. The assignments were real world applicable, and challenged you the most in team dynamic. The lessons are slides and straight to the point. He chooses good learning examples. He's passionate about the student learning. A good person and a true teacher.
One of them most useless, irrelevant & disorganized lecturers at Baruch. Irrelevant material & lack of professional skills and knowledge, despite how he likes to talk about himself.. Kinda nice & you get an easy A without learning anything useful and usable for future career. No participation needed, you sleep through boring classes
relevant and interesting class. Can't go wrong with this to help fill those major requirements
Class is project based and it's worth 70% of your grade. Mini assignments are given but you get full credit when completed on time. He gives one exam that's worth 30% of your grade and curves depending on how the class did. Didn't use the textbook because all exam questions are based off his presentations. Show up, learn and you'll get a pass.
My favorite professor at Baruch! This class reiterated the fact that I want to be in Advertising. This professor is kind, respectful, and has so much to teach. His one test is everything from the lectures, so I suggest going to class. It doesn't even feel like class if you like marketing, advertising, and branding.
This professor does not challenge you at all. If you want an easy A this is the class to take. The group project was annoying and he did not want anyone to do their best work or be creative, he simply wanted to them to follow the instructions and submit sub-par work. Only plus was that the lectures were interesting.
Professor Perrotto makes me like marketing. He didn't teach from textbooks. He taught things that works in real life. His class was interesting and interactive. Group project was fun. Easy A also. You won't regret taking him.
Prof. Perrotto is such a great professor. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. The best thing about his class is that he uses REAL WORLD experiences from working in the industry as examples for us. He doesn't rely on the textbook at all. Great guy and a great class. I really enjoyed it!
I just finished taking this class during the summer and it was intense because a lot of the work was due back to back BUT thats something that is a no brainer when you take summer courses. If you stay on top of your work, communicate well with your team & actually participate you'll be fine. You'll learn a lot and makes you see things in a diff way
Had fun taking Prof. Perroto in the summer. 1 presentation, 2 projects, 10% participation, and the rest is HW(3-4, easy). He uses real-world experience to teach us, and does not give us a hard time. You should take him if you can.
Prof Perotto is a blast. Easy class. Participate a lot (make him learn your name) and do the work - that's all. Teaches from experience, not the text. Major group project with a few parts to it. Summer had a test, 2 powerpoints (only one presented in class), and a few easy assignments. Easy grader and a relaxed guy.
very cool guy. just do the group project , make sure your team likes you , and do your homewokr , you will earn yourself an A
Very chill guy. Easy grade, especially in the summer session. Just make sure he learns your name, because he doesn't just give the full 10 points for class participation like other profs, so be sure to raise your hand. Other than that, taking this guy's class is a total slam dunk. Also, don't even think about wasting money on the textbook.
To the person below that said he doesn't want people to be creative, you must be talking about another prof lol. This man INSIST you channel your own creativity. He understands fully some are more than others, so long as you showcase your own personality he counts it as unique and creative. Great man, great instructor. Would take again.
An amazing teacher! He has a lot of experience working in marketing and he gives you first hand knowledge of what its like to work in that field. Hands on experience. Its perfect for MKT students or any students interested in understanding MKT. Its fun and interesting .
I understand the people saying you won't learn anything. It's true, as far as technical learning and terms go, there isn't much here. What you WILL get is information and practice in the development and creative aspects of advertising. A great class for after you've taken all the info-heavy courses and are ready to try actually applying that info.
Professor Perrotto teaches in a very hands-on way. Every class is a build-up towards phase A and phase B of the group project in which you rebrand an existing brand. Overall, very fun and easy A class (as long as you complete the requirements). 1 exam, 2 parts of a presentation, 2 interviews, and a few other simple assignments.
Such an easy class if you follow directions. He's so sweet as well. You work with 1 group the whole semester to generate 2 PPTs. No homework, no final. 1 midterm but he practically gives you the answers a week before. He loves talking .
Great professor overall. Tough Grader, not really too organized. Doesn't give full credit on assignments. But great class. Sweet professor.
Prof Perrotto is what every college professor should aspire to be. He is easy going, accessible, and has a wealth of information based on his experience in his field. Class is fun and he makes it worth your while. He brought us cup cakes on our last day of class.
He is an amazing professor. He has tons of real live experience and won't just teach out of a textbook. We had a midterm and a group project, our final was a presentation. He is a tough grader but he is very specific with what he wants and gives tons of examples. So listen well and you will do well.
This professor was very kind and fair one exam, and a Phase A, and Phase B presentation. He curved the exams and graded the presentations easily. Only one presentation (12 minutes) was presented in front of the class. The other one was submitted through Blackboard. Definitely, Recommend taking him! Easy A! I got a 92, and he curved my A- to an A
Professor Perrotto is hands down one of the best professors I've had. He has tons of experience in marketing so he knows what he's talking about. He's pretty cool and gives you clear instructions on what he wants for each assignment and presentations. He emphasizes that you tap into your creative side. I recommend you take his class.
If you like projects and enjoy working in a
Good professor, if you like to be really hand on and working in a group. He is not good if you are a text book kind of person, midterm is all about the slides and the videos he gives in class. A little disorganized, and the way he likes his projects are exactly like the examples he gives you, so very little room for creativity. Overall, he is great
My very first rating for any professor in my entire college life. Simply, if you like to work in a group where you will discover the world of marketing, go ahead and take him and you will never regret. 1 Quiz, 2 Group Projects, some simple assignments, 10% participation. Just be active in the class and you will get an A as I got this summer.
He's pretty boring. It's frustrating how for a media planning class he doesn't focus on the formulas/terms with how data heavy media planning is. Doesn't know what programmatic is. He talks more about what the creative than the actually media planning for a lot of the ads he shows. This class feels more like MKT 3520 rather anything substantial.
Very nice man but not a very good Professor. He has good experience but that does not translate to his teaching skills. The class is very boring considering the subject. He is funny and willing to help, but it is clear that he often does not know what he is doing when teaching. His grading criteria is very flawed as well.
This is a basic filmmaking class. You will shot with Iphone edit in Imovie. Prof is an egotistic and grumpy. His knowledge of film ends in early 2000s and all of his video examples are from that era too. Take this if you want to learn IMovie (by yourself, he won't help you). He is the least qualified professor I've met. Don't take him!
Participation expect a 7-8 points usually as he said, you have to be really memorable to get a 10, or a team leader. He picks out your group at the beginning of the few classes. Shouldve waived participation because of covid19 but whatever. Everyone had a horrible time taking quiz and he didn't even let us see the answers at the end.
He'll give you full credit for work as long as you submit it. His teaching style is a bit slow and boring, he'll show you examples of projects the whole time and commercials. Online set up shouldve given us more points bc it was a presentation but up to him i guess. Likes to call people on random. It is what it is.
Avoid this professor at all cost! He is rude and yells at students! If you miss one zoom class hes taking 5 points off your overall grade. He is so disorganized and disrespectful and blames everything on zoom. You have to take your own notes because he doesnt provide the PowerPoint lectures until the week before exams. Randomly calls on student
If I had a nickel for every time he got mad at the class over a zoom attendance issue, which wasnt made clear on the syllabus, nor was at the fault of any of the students, and which was also made worse by how bad with technology he is, Id have two nickels. Which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice.
At the beginning of the semester he seemed like a chill professor until the middle when he started to yell at students. Attendance is mandatory and he is taking points off if you miss even one class. You have to take your own notes and he randomly calls on students to answer questions. Class is basically him showing a bunch of commercials.
Blames everything but himself! He is so rude to students and his emails are sometimes aggressive. STAY AWAY!!
Not a nice professor at all! So rude to students and all he cares about is attendance even if you have a valid reason for missing one day on zoom he does not care and he takes points off your grade. Would not recommend!
This is by far the worst professor I have ever had. He is extremely rude to students and yells at them almost every class. Loves to blame BB and Zoom for all issues when they are entirely his fault. He can never take accountability but if a student has connection issues, its their fault and they get points deducted. Class project exam-not organized
AVOID at all costs. Unbelievably rude to all students does not respond to emails and is technologically incompetent. Takes no responsibility for his action, blames Zoom and Baruch for every mishap he has. Extremely disorganized and has no clue what is happening. Additionally, classes not recorded, and the PP's are posted a week before the exam.
One of the worse professor in the marketing department at Baruch!! He is disorganized and never takes responsibility for anything. He does not care about students, during a whole pandemic he wanted us to go out and visit store and do interviews! Attendance is mandatory and if you miss one day say goodbye to your attendance points!
There are better professors you could take for this course. Grades are made up of a set of group PowerPoint presentations, attendance, and one exam. If you skip class one day you will lose 5 points off attendance. Only one exam which was difficult and the format was horrible. Avoid to save your GPA!!
Avoid this extremely rude human. He will say no answer is wrong and then ridicule you for an incorrect answer. It's almost impossible to follow along with what he expects of you. I've never received nastier emails than I did from him. Blames so much on tech issues but when you have one he flips out. Also, never proofreads his emails for spelling.
This professor is so full of drama. He takes forever to grade anything and he delayed our final grade as well. While all the grades have been posted on cunyfirst he was yet to post his. Save yourself the trouble and take another professor for this class.
Overall, everyone's comments about him being rude are true, but I still recommend taking this class. I actually ended up learning about advertising and as long as you do the work, it's super easy to get an A. Grade is based off of a term long group project, some individual HW and one exam. Easy A if you look past rudeness and technical problems.
I dont see how 4493 is a marketing course; also grades harsh. Difficult time emailing him as he doesnt acknowledge his mistakes. Calls on students randomly during Zoom and if you dont answer he marks you absent. Tells students to come class early yet hes late and majority of the time ends the class late. ABSURD professor !
Amazing professor, industry knowledge-wise. You will definitely learn a lot in this class. Just be on top of your assignments and group work. One of the classes you will not regret taking. You will learn a lot about advertising and marketing campaigns.
This class just makes no sense. He has very poor understanding of the videos half the people make. This class's grading makes 0 sense, the professor is very dry and boring. The content in the class is also COMPLETELY unrelated to the assignments. Honestly, this class has 0 purpose, but just annoyance.
At first, he was a tough grader and demands too much out of us. However, he redeemed himself by grading generously and even curving our overall grades! Your major assignments is just creating videos, and thats it really. Def no surprises on the exam, some questions maybe subjective but it was fine overall. You will learn from his videos.
I learned a lot about advertising, just do your work and you will be fine
Good professor with a solid plan for the semester. 1 big test and a group project with about 7 students. He likes diversity, creativity, and someone who participates. Dont hand in stuff late and dont volunteer to do more in your group. He doesnt see if you worked harder than the rest despite his efforts to try. His content may be a little old.
One of the best classes I've taken. He was very clear from the start, the deadlines were clear. I feel like this class taught me how to use video and editing way better than I did before. I recommend taking this class with him!!
Comments towards assignments does not make sense and does not care for your grades. Cares more towards group projects.
You're put into a group by the professor and you will be sitting with them throughout the entire semester. Choose 1 brand, and create 3 presentations on it throughout the semester. 1 easy midterm (includes in-class examples) and no final. Group projects are easy. He's not tech savvy so just help him out sometimes. Good professor, highly recommend!
This class is a film class and you'll learn about camera angles, lighting, props, film team names(?) but you won't learn how to edit a video. You'll be put in a team to make 3 videos together and one Bio video as your final project. The bio video is great for your resume! Each video requires a storyboard. Highly recommend if ur interested in film!
Great professor, has a lot of material to share and many campaign examples; explained very well what was accomplished with the presented strategies. For all marketers and advertisers - he shared substantial info and resources regarding analytical work! Lot of group work, participation mattered, the lectures and assignments were easy. Recommend!!!
This class was very fun and easy. It's very straightforward and the work is manageable.
He's an amazing professor. I feel like he gives good examples of what he expects. I would take him again.
Professor Perrotto had great lectures, his grading was very fair. There was few assignments, and his classes are entertaining. Groupwork is important in this class, honestly it was very fun. Exams were easy, you just have to pay attention in class. I recommend this professor.
Lectures focus on analyzing videos and the class overall has a lot of group projects. Professor Perrotto is a good professor that cares about his students. Would reccomend taking his class.
His lectures are important to pass the exam but overall they're pretty interesting and easy. attendance is important. Group projects make up the basis of your grade so make sure you work with your team but he's a pretty easy grader. Overall the professor cares about his students and tries to make the class enjoyable
Class assignments have virtually nothing to do with marketing. Professor does not understand computers as well as he thinks he does, which leaves a lot of downtime from technical difficulties. He is an honest guy and will help you if you seek help. Does not recognize his own mistakes and projects those mistakes onto anyone/anything possible.
Just an okay professor, did not learn much in his class. Heavy focus on the group project that is worked on in 2 parts throughout the semester. Loves to show old commercials. Easy 60 question midterm. Be prepared to teach yourself the material because he is not specific and a little all over the place when it comes to teaching.
He talks a lot about his own experiences in advertising, but it's clear that he's very knowledgable! One semester long group project that was broken up in two parts, so if you don't like group projects I would stay away. His test was heavily based on his lectures so take good notes. Overall it was a fun class!
Prof. Perrotto gave me bad vibes at first, but I ultimately enjoyed his class. Do not take it if you hate group projects (randomly assigned). The one test (midterm) was easy if you come to class and take notes, but no electronic use is allowed in class. He is very nice and he can tell who works hard. He brought us treats one day - so sweet!
Perrotto grades harshly but gives a decent curve at the end if you have good attendance (3 absences or less) and participation in the class. His examples are not the most recent in class and iMovie is not the most professional film editing software, but the class is hands-on and unique for the general Zicklin experience.
This class was pretty interesting and not very hard. But if you don't like group projects I would not recommend this class. One semester long group project broken up in two parts, one midterm based on class lectures, and a couple of homework assignments. Attendance is mandatory.
Don't take him if you have another choice. So disorganized, forgets his own deadlines and misplaces student work. SUPER unclear grading criteria with random points deducted. Definitely has favorite students. Doesn't care about editing skills or efforts, only "storyline" which has to be SO basic, bland & clear to the point of being childish.Hell nah
super easy A if you just do well on the group project which is a powerpoint- don't take this class if you actually want to learn anything, he really needs to retire and doesn't really know anything about marketing in the present day, he just reads slides and doesn't offer any interesting info it's the same class as 3520 too lol
Take any other professor for this class. If you want to learn anything about marketing this class does not fulfill that at all. The professor really needs to retire considering that he is not tech savvy and the material he teaches is outdated. I don't understand how he has good rating. For your sake take another professor.
Professor Perrotto's class was an enjoyable experience. The lectures were engaging, and the group projects, while time-consuming, were actually fun. For study prep, I found unstuck AI and the free textbook to be super helpful. Overall, it's a manageable class if you stay on top of things.
Literal worst professor I've ever had at this school. He always loses papers, gave everyone the wrong grades, and spends half the class trying to turn his computer on
My experience with Professor Perrotto was challenging. The professor often showed up late to Zoom meetings and was unprepared, making it difficult to follow the lessons. There were also frequent technical issues, such as problems with audio and screen sharing, which disrupted the class. Terrible
Amazing man and person! So respectful and caring. He really cares about his students, i havent received grade yet but it was not difficult class and actully it was interesting but im sure online class with him would be more engaging and interesting, overally, if you are looking for a nice professor, you should take him you wont regret it.
One of the worst classes I attended at Baruch. The subject matter was very easy but boring, repititve and at times outdated. Get ready to make some of the ugliest ppts of your life because he has no taste when it comes to that. He also showed up to class with a misbuttoned shirt once.
