Dr. Perry is by far one of my favorite professors. He is very energetic and incredibly well informed. He mixes up the lectures and will talk a lot about current events that you are concerned about. The tests are easy as long as you do the study guides. I got an A- and I didnt even think I would like the class from the beginning.

I love Mr.Perry! He's so much fun, isn't afraid to open up conversations with you about anything, and will answer any question you ever have! I took his hybrid class for Political Science 131. He is an excellent teacher and knows what he is talking about. Online lectures were VERY helpful for his in class tests. The online tests can be hard if you do not read the chapters in your text book. And the in class texts are a piece of cake if you use the study guide provided. Highly Recommend

Perry is easily the best professor at HFCC. Really nice guy, explains the material without any confusion. His exams are really easy as long as you attend lectures. Dr. Perry seems hard, but his grading system is great. He wants you to get 500 points to get an A, but he gives u assignments that worth more than 700 points. He drops two of your quizzes. You can get an A without getting an A in the assignments and quizzes. You have the chance to get 500 points even if you don't get an A in the final exam.

Dr. Perry is AWESOME. You will be so happy you took his class. He'll guide you through the chapters and do everything he can to help you earn an A, and you'll enjoy his lectures as well. Loved him!

Mr. Perry is quite the teacher.He explains the course in the beginning of the semester and its then up to the students to do the work. In my opinion, the course was extremely easy, however, I sort of slacked off at the end which caused me a letter grade. If you are one of those students who want an easy "A," don't expect it without applying effort.

I have taken Perry twice now, and I like his class. He is not specific on what he wants with papers, and is very lecture heavy. If you pay attention, and ask questions you will be just fine.

You can tell hes passionate about what he does and it makes a class like this so much better. He doesnt overload you with homework, so you will focus more on the actual learning aspect. My 10th grade civics class was harder than this. Show up on time and you get 100 points easy. So much extra credit. He doesnt grade strictly at all, just write down what you think and reach the word count and your good. Loved this professor. Although there weren't any live lessons, there were many recorded lessons for lecture reviews. Easy grader and isnt too strict on grading discussions or lecture reviews. If you fear getting low grades dont worry he gives great extra credit. Would definitely take again!

I'm almost done with this class and professor Anthony has been one of the best teachers since his grading is amazing as long as your homework consists the requirements he asked for and his lectures aren't boring at all.

Prof. Perry did not push any political agenda at all, other than learning about US politics and helping us gain knowledge to be informed citizens. The textbook was open source, and his video lectures covered each topic/section well. Don't fall behind on writing, maybe two writings per week to show understanding of the given topics. Recommended

Anthony's lectures are incredible. He is very passionate about the subject he teaches. That being said, you gotta work for your grade. It's mainly summarizing lectures and taking exams. I would definitely take him again, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone. His lectures will genuinely change your life and perspective on the world.

He did assign a weekly essay to review what we had studied. The quizzes were amazing and helpful and not something you could just cheat off of the internet. He puts in a lot of effort and is a great lecturer. Would definitely take him again.

Amazing professor. Very interesting lectures and talks about real events in real time. Very doable assignments. Easy to get an A if all directions are followed. Probably the least amount of work thats asked for unlike some other professors. He GETS we have a life outside of school. TAKE HIM!!!

You got to do lecture summaries and make sure you watch the complete video because it shows if you didn't. The lecture summaries have to be at least 200 words and the discussion boards have to be at least 500 words, might seem intimidating but you'll still be able to get it done with, responses to students are 100. Exams are easy too.

I took a 100% online course with him as my professor, absolutely would recommend. His recorded lectures are entertaining and informational. There is a set amount of reading and lecture for each week, some additional assignments that are fairly simple. Every assignment+due date is in syllabus. He is easy to talk to/contact if you have an issue!

Such a nice professor. All we do is a lecture review with a discussion every week and 3 exams throughout the semester. Extra credit is also given for political actions.

I am currently a dual enrollment student who just finished this class for my government credit and I would recommend everyone to take him. He is clear about when everything is due and responds to emails quickly. He has approximately 2 lectures a week and a discussion board every other week but he is very reasonable. Just do your work on time.

It's a straight-forward and easy class, but lectures fr get boring and annoying not gonna lie...and you HAVE to watch the lectures to receive full points on 200-300 word lecture summaries that you have to do along with a 300 word discussion board and 100 word reply to other students. (you can't put the lectures on 2x speed either cuz he knows -_-).

Professor Perry was honestly one of the best teachers I have seen. His class is extremely easy and a little fun. He is extremely kind and caring, he replies fast, and I genuinely learned from him. Bad reviews are from lazy students. Would totally recommend him or take this class again.

This was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. The work is so easy and the lectures, all you gotta do is listen for a half and hour and your good. The discussions might take a little time because of the research you have to do, but overall, it's so easy. idek if it's possible to fail his class. He makes it so easy to pass with an A+.

If you are someone who can keep up with doing research and taking time to take notes for lectures and discussion boards, this course is for you. There are 23 lectures in total and 10 discussion boards. The test are the easiest exams you could possibly get. Straightforward, in simple terms, and a lot of time to complete all questions.

Great professor - lectures can get dry but overall straightforward class. Doing the assignments and using resources like Unstuckstudy for study prep really helps. Grading is reasonable.

Was a super easy class. Talked about real world issues. The discussion posts were long about 300 words with 150 word responses, but those were the only assignments. The online lectures took a long time to watch but were very easy. The final is so easy he gives you exactly what would be on it.

SUPER EASY! The work was short and simple and everything is due on sunday. The directions were straight forward and all work can be finished in an hour max if you put your phone away! One of the easiest classes. I would literally gate-keep this class but you should all take him if you want a class that's simple and easy. 900-1000 is an A. TAKE HIM!

He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the topic that it makes me jealous. Participating in his class is terrifying he is very intense. If u hate discussion boards dont take this class. We had one every week. The exams are EASY even a kid could get an A. Lots of extra credit and u get a cheat sheet on exams. He also accepts late work.

His main concern is about not using AI. If you do, you'll get a zero or might even fail the class because he wants to see what you've learned on your own. Overall, his class is really easy—especially if you take it in person. It's much better than online, and the exams are easy, so don't worry about them.

Dont wait until Sunday night to do your work and you will receive an A. Allows late work as well just dont use ai!!!
