Racka is good teacher. He is sorta anti-corporate but he has a lot of energy and is always joking around. tests are too easy. be sure to participate in class and show up, that is what he cares about. This is an easy A.

He's young, funny, down to earth and actually knows what he's talking about. He used to work for ford for a long time to he speaks a lot from his experiences. Take any and all of his classes that you can!

Show up to class, participate in class discussions, and you are guaranteed and "A" like me. Easy extra credit, extremely easy tests (if you skim briefly over chapters), stress-free environment and he breaks down the business terms so that everyone can understand them. Classes are very interacting. YOU WANT RACKA!!!

He is an excellent instructor. Makes managment an easy subject to deal with through class interaction. Brings recent issues to class to help explain topics covered. Class is about the terms and concept minus the bull crap. He is very helpfull and will stay after class with students that need help. I strongly suggest this Professor to BUS students.

Great teacher. Willing to help out in any way possible. He even called a student up who wasn't doing too well to remind him about a test and told him what to expect. Excepts late work, homework is actually fun, and class is very interactive. Tests aren't bad at all. Only 3 total. The last 1 shouldn't even count..(EASY!!) He's great!

Regardless of, if you had a pre-arranged absence. Received a lower grade due to attendance, even though I took precautions to make sure I got the leture,& got A's on all tests & assignments.

Tony is the man!!! This is a grat teacher. You just had to listen, pay attention, and get involved in the discussions and you will do fine. I opened my textbook once you really dont even need it. The test are directly from the discussions in class. You can go to his office before and find out whats on the test a couple days before. Easy and Fun!!!

By far the best teacher i had at occ. just go to class and listen to what he says. he gives you a test review sheet the week before tests, and it covers the whole thing! easy A!

One of OCC's best! Presents material very well in unique, interactive-style format; class is rarely boring. PROS: -Straight-forward assignments (just put forth an effort-he's not a picky grader) and exams. -Extra credit opportunities. -You don't need to read the book. CONS: Strict attendance policy. He is an awesome teacher who has a great sense of humor, engages the class, and is very flexible. He gives out extra credit and has the best grading system. Assignments were actually very helpful, actually went with the book and class, were straight forward and interesting, as were the oral presentations.

The thing about Racka is that you learn so much, but you don't even realize it. You sit there and you run the real-life scenarios and learn everything. I personaly never read the book, but his lectures were so good that you didn't even have to. The guy is a saint, I am taking his third and final class this winter. I suggest that you take all three.

Mr. Racka is awesome! I was a little overwhelmed at first because i hadn't ever taken an online class, but he made it an easy transition. The class is fun and I agree with the others that you learn a lot without realizing it. And a side not for my lady friends, his voice is very sexy and that helps when he's giving the week previews.

I took his Intro to Business class online. If you're a slacker, I wouldn't take this class since you have to respond to quite a few discussion boards. I found this class to be easy. However, I did learn a lot. I'm taking his MKT2520 class next semester because I like him so much.

What can I say? Racka is great! I agree with a lot of his management techniques and views. Class is easy and often fun from group discussions. You won't be sad if you take this class.

Great professor, very interesting classes and helpful insight. Forums get a bit tedious (4-6 per week), but its one of the cons of online classes. Extremely manageable class; 3 papers, 3 quizzes, forum posts, and plenty of extra credit. I always look for his classes.

Second time around and still a great instructor. Grading is clear and very lenient, and offers a wealth of current, practical information. Easily the best instructor I have had thus far at OCC, and will really help you if business is your major.

Awesome online class! You are not bogged down with boring topics or definitions. Mr. Racka uses real world articles and videos emphasize topics in business. A lot of discussion questions for "attendance" grade. Reasonable papers and exams. I thought the class would be boring and it wasn't. Great instructor, great class!

Really nice professor. He is really funny. He usually jokes a lot. Not many quizzes or exams. You'll have group/individual projects for his class! He is really easy! If you show up and do what he tells you to do, you'll pass with an easy A. He lets you take your quizzes home and do it! I would definetly re-take his class. He's the easiest prof.

Attendance is not mandatory, but just shoot him a quick email if for whatever reason you can't make it just to make sure he'll send you the random homework. This is my third class taking of his and he is community college GOLD. He remembers everyone very personally and is easy to bond with. Easy to get a hold of and ridiculously easy with grading.

Prof. Racka has a young spirit and teaches the same way. He wants to engage you in his classes. He gives a lot of homework, but as long as you do them, you don't even have to be in class, you will pass. He dismisses you early most of the times and a lot of his classes were on D2L. If you want to learn and have fun, take him.

Take his class! I enjoyed watching his weekly videos. I learned and became inspired by his class. If I was to have any negatives about his class is the chapters numbers in the book are in Spanish and had to google my chapter numbers to know where I was at lol. Very easy going but fair. I've taken two courses with Professor Racka, and I am taking another next semester. I appreciate the level of engagement he has with students and the simple structure to his assignments. Racka is an awesome, down-to-Earth guy who relies on the real world rather than a textbook to teach business. Although he is the author of the textbook used for the class, its a very relatable book with chapters as long as 5 pages. Lectures are amazing and he is very relatable and willing to help students as long as they're willing to put in work!

I took BUS 2640 (online) this summer with Professor Racka. Truly, this class was very informative and straight to the point. The lectures were interesting, the projects were educational but manageable, and the exams were everything we went over (so pay attention). I hate online classes, but prof did amazing with it being online! Great class!

Mr. Racka was a dream teacher. He gave great work but he also gave information related to the real world. His assignments were not boring. If you show up to the class and do your work you will pass. He also gives a very detailed rubric so that you will understand how he grades. Take his class you won't regret it.

The textbook is a Peter Drucker book on Management that has loads of useful info. If you have a chance to take this professor, without a doubt, do it.

He really encourages participation in this class so if you like to talk and have open discussions this is the perfect class to take. he gives a weekly assignment but the reading you have to do is written by him so it still has that fun energy that you get when in class. he does seem to have favorites in the class though so so good luck if youre one

I had Professor Racka for MGT + MRKT at OCC. In my time here he is easily in the top 3. He is a rare type of teacher who wants you to learn the subject in the best way that you can. Homework, discussions, projects, and tests are all graded on how you can show your understanding of the material. Not just textbook memorization. He is just great.

Racka is very funny. There are EC opportunities. It was easy to get an A - he says so even himself. 2 papers, 3 PowerPoint presentations, 3 exams, and weekly discussion boards (make sure to get these done on time). Only complaint is that the syllabus and grading outline for the papers/PowerPoints are very vague.

I went out of my way to take more of Mr. Racka's classes, he genuinely cares about your education and will give you the tools to either succeed or fail, which you have to be pretty incompetent to fail his classes. I was personally fond the fact he doesn't just read through a textbook, give you a quiz or test but yet lets you decipher.

Professor Racka's class is a breeze. The textbook he wrote is actually engaging, and his lectures are super relatable. Using Unstuck ai along with the course materials really helped me ace this class with minimal effort.

Professor Racka is an outstanding teacher—knowledgeable, passionate, experienced, and compassionate toward students. Even in an asynchronous online class, his feedback and encouragement added a personal touch. He's truly a gem at OCC, and learning about business in his class was incredibly helpful for life!

Professor was hilarious as I enjoyed his lectures. Class is very much discussion based as the professor is looking for your honest opinions on the topics. Think outside of the box.
