Amazing =)
great instructor. He will go out of his way to help you. The class by it self is hard and a lot of work.
Good guy, loved all the extra help, videos and links he posts. wish he did A&P2 also
A very nice and great guy, but doesn't know anything. He knows the muscles and bones because he is a chiropractor but you can tell he forgot the rest a long time ago. His "teaching style" = reading someone else's slides to you which he promptly forgets a few weeks later if you have a question. im doing well in the class because I can teach myself
Awesome guy in and out of class. He is very clear to the fact that he offers extra help for students willing to come in early or stay late for help. He even provides the students with his personal cell number to contact him at any time. However his teaching style is just regurgitating another professors slides. I would still recommend him.
Dr. Rosania goes out of his way to make sure you understand the material in class. He's really hands on in Lab and is eager to help students with any questions they have. Also, he offers helpful links to materials that help you understand A&P concepts better.
Hes a great prof. Knows what hes talking about. Relates to students. Very fair and understanding. Grades super fast and justly. Goes out of his way to help students.
Doc really wants his students to succeed;goes out of his way to help. Willing to arrive early, stay late & makes himself accessible outside of class. Class time is a review of the textbook so he is a best match for a motivated learner/self taught student. He brings real life info & examples. Lab time very valuable. Very fair and rewards hard work.
Dr. Rosania is a great professor. Took his class after getting my bachelor's from a state university and he was better than any of the professors I had there. He will go way out of his way to make sure you learn the material as long as you are willing and have the interest.
Doc Rosania is an excellent professor. He takes a subject that is potentially dry and makes it fun, interesting and accessible. He successfully utilizes technology to both teach and be in contact with his students. He truly enjoys teaching and cares about how his students do. He is willing to help and makes himself available to those who seek it.
Terrible, terrible, terrible! Goes over the material extremely fast doesn't even let you take notes because of the constant rush. Doesn't really answer questions clearly (I had to Google everything) and kills half of the lecture bragging about his hair salons and himself. Was very upset with this instructor...horrible experience!
Doc will go out of his way to explain the material to you. He doesn't have an office but he comes at least an hour before the class to Starbucks for those who need help. He even stays past the posted time for lab so people can ask him questions. I highly recommend him for anatomy. Anatomy isn't easy course so don't expect an A. But its college.
Doc was a fantastic professor. He really does know what he is talking about and really makes his students a priority. We all loved him and I would definitely take him for A&P 2 if it was an option. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Doc was an awesome professor.
Doc was such a great professor. He explained everything so clear to help us understand. He was available to meet prior to class to go over anything we had questions with and was willing to stay in lab as late as possible to continue to go over anything we needed. Do your work, STUDY and put your all into this class. HIGHLY recommend dr rosania!
It's a tough course. Put in the time and you'll get the grade you deserve. Dr R made a dry subject much more palatable.
For such a tough class, Prof. Rosania was an incredible teacher! He knew the material extremely well. I would definitely take his class again because he always went the extra mile to inspire us and make sure we understood the material. I highly recommend him!
I'm not sure I would have done as well in any of the other BIOL 125 teachers' classes. Doc is very good about answering any question, even if it's a little off topic. Very knowledgeable regarding a myriad of subjects. I can only hope the rest of my professors at RVCC are as good.
Doc is one of the best teachers I have had at RVCC. I took him for A&P 1 and 2. It is a tough course, but he will do anything and everything he can to help you understand the material and goes out of his way to meet anyone at starbucks before class starts for extra help. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!
The course material is challenging and you definitely have to put in a lot of study time outside of class but Doc is great at keeping you interested with the material in lecture and lab and is always willing to meet up before class at Starbuck or stay late to go over the material with you until clearly understand the coursework.
Dr. Rosania, is one of the best teachers I have had at RVCC. Took him for AP1 in the summer which was extremely difficult, but he took his time and made sure we fully understood the material. The exams were straightforward, and he is a fair grader. I wish he were teaching AP2 next semester. Highly recommend him! Great professor.
Doc was a great professor! He presented the material clearly and took the time to make sure you understood it, either in class, lab, or meeting outside of class. He takes a real interest in students' success. His own medical experience really helped make the class more interesting too. I would definitely take one of his classes again!
Great class. One of the best instructors i have had! Goes out of your way to help if you ask.
Last review is so wrong, Doc is a great instructor, Always asked if you had and questions and met me before class and went through anything i wanted. It is a tough class so you do have to put the work in. I wish he was teaching AP2 in the spring, i would take again!
I loved taking A&P 1 with Doc! There is no doubt that he knows his stuff. Doc made this course extremely interesting and because of him, I learned so much. He is there if you need help, both before and after class. I would definitely take him again and just wished that he was teaching A&P 2! He is awesome, you will learn a lot!
Best instructor i have had, this is the second time taking AP, my first instructor really did not care. Dr Rosania goes out of his way to help and his experience as a Chiropractor made the class interesting. Highly recommend him! the extra stuff he provides helps make studying easier.
Doc. is absolutely one of the best professors I've had! This course is tough so if you don't make time for it, don't expect to pass. He was extremely helpful, understanding and overall the best. Recommend him to everyone taking A&P I, as well as doing the extra credit opportunity. I wish he taught A&P II :(
Loved Doc's class! He is one of the best professors I've ever had. He genuinely cares about his students' success and will make time to help you understand the material. He gets right to the point with the material, but be sure you dedicate the time to study! I wish he was teaching A&P II this semester, I would take his class again for sure!
Absolutely loved this class. This man was seriously my favorite professor I've ever had. As long as you pay attention to his lectures and study for the tests you should be fine.
The Proffesor has a very pleasant spirit and is very helpful and willing to take the extra time if you need help. Definitely would take his classes again
Will go out of his way to answer questions and his methods to create communication between classmates were invaluable to me and the rest of the class. If you don't study, you get the grade that you deserve. He offers many chances to boost and shape your final grade. His lectures & labs are great if you listen. he's blunt about what you need to know
Doc rocks my socks! Doc's tests can be pretty tough (especially in AP2), but he's more than willing to go out of his way to help you & to see his students succeed, you just have to ask. The extra credit trips are a fun addition to the class, and his sense of humor and ability to make the material relatable is also a plus. Would def take doc again!
I had him for A&P I and II, Doc Rosania is the best professor I've ever had. The course is tough so definitely need to review and study a lot! He's fair, understanding, funny and extremely helpful. I wouldn't recommend anyone else besides him :) take advantage of physioex and extra credit opportunities!!!!
Get ready to work hard, study, make flash cards, have study groups, pull all nighters. But everything you need to know is taught and explained in the best way by prof Rosania. He's awesome and honestly super helpful! My fav professor at RV thus far :)
by far the hardest class I have ever taken. I'vs never studied so hard in my life. His test are very difficult. He gives an outlinestudy guide that is 37 pages long typed front and back. I feel like no matter how hard i study i still find things on the test that i have never seen before. And he at times makes you feel like hes annoyed for asking ?s
At times this professor seemed annoyed when students asked questions to clarify sections of the lesson. Mandatory Facebook group that counted towards class participation. Professor made comments about how he would do more if the department would make him a full time professor. Always material on test that class had never seen before.
Great guy will meet you before class if you need help and allows you to come into his other labs if you need it. You need to put in the effort but he gives extra credit. Tests are right out of book so if you study you'll do fine. Would have taken him for AP2 but wasn't offered.
This teacher does not understand the material that he teaches. Don't expect to learn much during lectures because he doesn't even understand the material himself. Rosania is cool if you're on his good side, but if you even think of asking a "dumb" question he'll start talking down to you. Being able to learn on your own is essential in this class.
He is a cool guy and seems cool to talk to outside of class. Gets the lab students to work with each other. If you don't ask any questions though he won't go into too much detail about what he is teaching. He will be happy to answer any questions as long as you ask. Also does extra credit. Do it. Trust me.
I'm not sure how this professor got such a high rating but honestly he is doesn't go into any detail about what he's teaching probably because he doesn't really know what he's talking about. He just reads off slides the whole lecture. You have to teach yourself in this class. Would not take this professor. Beware!
The Professor took over our AP2 class last semester and was the best thing that happened. So much better then our last Professor. Don't kid yourself the class is hard and you have to study but he makes himself available before and after class to go over anything you want. Give extra credit. Wish we had him from the start.
Dr R. Is the best! Had him for AP1 and 2, Fastest Grader I ever had. Got quizzes and test back within a day or so. He always stayed late in lab for us. He gives extra credit and you can make up missed homework by doing Physio X's. his group page really help.
He is by far the best professor. He truly cares about his students and will help you out when you ask. He is always willing to meet up before class too. The material is hard but having him as a professor helped tremendously.
Anatomy is a really difficult course but doctor Rosania made it bearable. He was a great lecturer, care about his students, and generally a fun person. I wish I could take with him AP2. Work hard and get a good grade.
This professor definitely writes his own reviews. By far the worst teacher to teach A&P there are much better professors that teach A&P. Be ready to teach yourself if you take this professor. Highly would not recommend taking this professor. Good luck if you take this professor you'll need it.
He goes through his powerpoint presentation which are set up like fill in the blanks. Literally just reads them in class. Sometime tells you not to worry about something and yet it shows up on the exam. His exams were probably the hardest things I had to study for. Coz, know everything, just in case he asks about that. No pointers for the exam.
Doc was a good professor to have for A&P1. He does give extra credit. He will go over the material several times until you understand it. Tests were a little tricky because of the way things were worded or material that was not covered WILL show up on tests. Funny-he used to staple his pants b4 the going to the club if they were too long!
Taking this class accelerated in the summer you expect it to be very hard. He broke down the information into understandable sections instead of just throwing everything at you at once. UTILIZE LAB PERIODS AND THE FACEBOOK GROUP. You will not do well in the class if you skip out on lab early and don't ask questions. Best professor I've ever had.
Professor Rosania does a great job breaking down complex subject matter into simpler terms. A&P is a tough subject, but he makes lectures easy to follow and keeps class interesting with real life applications to help you remember the material. Grades come back super fast and are always fair. He will make time to meet out of class with students!
He will tell you that he is a chiropractor first and a teacher on the side. This shows. The tests and quizzes are obviously thrown together last second with multiple spelling and grammar mistakes every time. He will speed through sections, skip whole slides, and never allow you to take notes. The entire lecture is focused on the picture slides.
Doc Rosania is a great professor! Made very complex concepts easy to understand with simple analogies. He goes out of his way to help you outside of class. Anatomy is very difficult but he does everything he can to help you and you can tell he cares about how the students do. If you attend lectures and study outside of class, the class is great!
In short, he's great. Really. Anatomy is always hell, but he makes it better. Not boring and basically flings extra credit which even for the best, youll NEED. So take it with him if you have to. Otherwise (unless u love the human body) dont ever take A and P -1 or 2.
I love Doc! I would never take A&P with anyone else :)
Dr. Rosania has been one of the most helpful professors I have experienced throughout my college career. A&P is a difficult subject by nature, however he is able to break it down in a clear and organized, yet thorough manner. He is engaging and open to anyone in need of assistance. With hard work put in on your part, you will do great in his class.
Doc is the best professor! Second time taking the class. I wish he tought AP2. He met before class to explain things i was having a had time with.
He is absolutely awesome. It is a very hard class because of the material but he is very helpful. He cares about his students.
Doc was a great professor! It is very much a lecture heavy course but he pushes you towards the right direction to succeed. He can give an analogy for just about anything which helps when you're trying to understand complex material. If I had the option to take his course for AP 2 I most definitely would. He cares and will never hesitate to help!
By far one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Doesn't know how to teach material and says the wrong thing during lecture. Which I really cant understand why when he doesn't teach, but rather reads off powerpoints. He doesn't give areas to focus on test, which means u you are studying every little thing. Overall, just horrible.
Quizzes: lab and lecture. Exams: multiple choice, short answer and fill-in the blank question. Homework: decent amount and online. Extra credit, and sometimes he bumps grades up a few points. Don't expect the points lol just be grateful. He makes A&P so much more tolerable and relevant! I took the summer class (6weeks), challenging but worth it.
I took Dr. Rosania for Human API and APII. He was a great professor, explained the material really well, went over again if someone did not understand the concept the first time, and even stayed late to go over any material from lecture or lab. His tests were fair but not hard, and his quizzes were helpful to see how well you're prepared for test.
He only read the power point , not focus on specific materials. Overall the worst teacher ever
Prof Rosania is the best professor. He keeps class engaging and shares personal stories that relate to the class. If you are willing to put the effort in, then he will help you with anything you do not understand. Show up to both lecture and lab because lab reinforces everything. Overall, if you can take him then do it, you will not regret it!
Doc is Great! Had him for AP1 and one of the best Professors. He has stayed late to go over things and came in early to review. He give you the lecture slides and is a fair grader. My only complaint is that he is not teaching AP2
I currently taking Dr Rosania at another college for AP1, and i think he is the best professor i have ever had. he explains things in a way i am able to understand. he tries to relate examples about the material to real life situations and uses movie/tv references to help get the point across.
Loved taking Doc's class! I hadn't been to school in years and decided to go back, so glad I did. He loves what he teaches and is hilarious during lab. He stays late and helps out way more than any other professor I have ever had. Take notes, print the slides and lab packet and PAY ATTENTION TO THE SYLLABUS trust me it's worth it. Overall A+
Doc is a really great person and a great professor. The class/material is hard- but it's the nature of the course. Doc really cares about his students and presents the material in a way you can understand and remember it. He's great at coming up with tricks to remember things! Expect Die Hard and Star Trek references. Wish I could take him again!!
Great professor, would absolutely take again. Spelling does not count which is amazing for AP1. Study guide covers everything that is on tests.
Dr. Rosania is always willing to help you as long as you're willing to learn and put work in. He does expect a certain level of attendance and participation as that is the only way to have the information stick. Labs are fun and a great time to ask questions you may not have felt comfortable asking during the lecture.
Hands down the best anatomy professor to take! Lectures are on point! Questions never left unanswered. Labs are DIY so no long lab worksheets but hes readily available to practice models with. Makes a facebook group for the class that surprisingly works really fine to review chapter notes, and specially histology slides. Take the class and take A
Took Doc for an advanced AP1&2 course. Id previously attempted AP with another professor and withdrew because I was so lost. With Doc as your professor, you truly are given the opportunity to learn, ask questions and participate. Extremely low key but you do have to work for your grades. 10/10 recommend you to take him!!
Definitely recommend this professor right here! Creates a very engaging, interactive, and fun experience in the classroom and making sure everyone is included. Explains all the material very well and also simplifies it to make it easier to understand. Shows a lot of compassion and care towards his students and really tries his best to help you!
Only do this smushed A&P class if you can put in a very large amount of time. It takes a *lot*. I thought I'd be bored with three four hour classes a week. But Professor Rosania somehow makes all the lectures very entertaining and engaging. When he suggests meeting up at Starbucks, take advantage. Everything is covered by lecture and lab.
Very clear, understands his subject matter well, so you can ask questions and he'll explain it until you understand it.
Save yourself the trouble. Took him for summer A&P2 I expected it to be hard but his test makes no sense. His quizzes are 10 questions but you have to do it in 5-10mins. No extra credit, No test guides, little to no help understanding material. Recorded lectures are not what's on the test. RUN!!
I took this course during the summer so the workload was heavy due to the fact that it was an accelerated course, meaning that there was lots of material to do in a short amount of time. Literally as long as you do the work it is almost impossible to not know the material in the test end quizzes. Professor is very helpful!
Don't recommend! He does not care about the success of his students or if you have a family emergency. When he doesn't feel like teaching, he wont! Told our entire class to leave when one person couldn't answer his question, even though he never answers any of ours. Doesn't prep well for tests, and doesn't do anything during lab but sit on computer
Absolutely DO NOT take a class with Doc Rosania. He does not care about any of his students. He is contradicting on everything he says. He offers no help and says he does not want us to fail but clearly gets off on it. I work and go to school full time and do nothing but study. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA up until now, do yourself a favor & RUN!!!
His quizes is literally 5 minutes for 10 questions. Unless you know the information from the top of your head with less than 5 seconds to think you will fail. The exam questions and ratio of time are the same or worse. Less than half of a minute per question. I wouldn't take him again beacsue of this.
There is a lot of information you need to learn. Professor Rosania will go over it as untill you understand. This has to be one of my favorite class and instructors. Highly recommend if you if want learn the information
He is really easy going and encourages questions. As long as you take notes and pay attention you would get a good grade.
Would never take his class again. Only read from powerpoint and in labs he just let us label on the book, he does not explain or even teach. Literally he does not even care about students. If you are already good, then good. But if you are struggling he can care less. Does not answer emails. Said they don't get paid much to teach.
one word: awful. The worse teacher ever. Does not respect students does not teach no help at all emails to him does not exist keeps you struggling does not care about students at all please do yourself a favor and run away!
Had him last semester for the 2nd time taking A&P & Professor Rosania is my favorite. The class is hard & there is a lot of work but it's normal for an online class. He makes lectures relatable and tries to link them to life experiences. Just do the work and turn them in on time you will pass. All you need is in the Modules of the course.
This professor takes the time to explain everything to you, but he runs over lecture times like nobody's got an outside life. And clear your schedule, because he assigns a lot of homework. His mantra is, "repetition, repetition" and he assigns a workload. Expect long lab nights.
I took his online A&P 2 class and it was a lot work. He is an easy grader tho. All the assignments are due on Sunday and takes HOURS to complete. If you're taking other classes and have a job good luck. I also tried emailing him 2 times and he just never responded to either of them. Also barely explains the assignments or dissections.
this is the worst professor I've ever had, he sets you up for failure. has no grace or leniency for students period, let alone people who work full time and have other classes aside from his. he gives you a 0 for anything late even if its an hour past, yet still requires you to do the work. I would never have taken this class had id known.
Prof is a good teacher. I will say this for any class -IF you try and you study- you will pass. He gives you ALL you need to know to pass. I didn't need to open any textbook and that tells you a lot. He gives you more than enough info to pass the class in lecture and you should be thankful. I know prof who give bad lectures. I would take again!
Not going to lie, the class is challenging, took it so i can get in to nursing at RVCC. You have to study to pass. I got the impression he wanted everyone to do well, I liked Dr. R as a professor, during lecture if you are paying attention he points out what you need to know. He does not accept any late work but he drops tests, quizzes& homework.
